Astonishing news for Lucas: Brooke might be pregnant.

Recap:

It’s the Annual Boy Toy Auction and here is the drill, as Whitey claims “until midnight tonight, these boys are at your call.” Of course, nothing is going how it is supposed to be.

Peyton bids on Jake, but a mysterious female voice offers more than her - none another than Nikki, of course. Tim’s show is embarrassing, and only Deb ends up offering eight dollars for him. Haley bids on Lucas, but as soon as she sees a bunch of girls after Nathan, she convinces Peyton to “buy” him. Brooke arrives late, and there is only Mouth left, so she offers 200 dollars for him.

Nikki and Jake have dinner together: the girl wants to be part of Jenny’s life but Jake is clear: “You will never break my daughter’s heart because you will never, ever have the chance to.”

Someone else is definitely having a good time. Haley and Lucas are throwing water balloons at each other; Peyton and Nathan are splashing each other in the pool; Brooke is teaching Mouth her philosophy on dating. “It’s important to have somebody that can make you laugh. Somebody you can trust. Somebody that, you know, turns you on. And it’s really, really important that these three people don’t know each other”.

Unfortunately, the spark is ruined. Brooke meets one of her random lovers and looks upset; she tells Mouth she wants to go home. Once in the car, Mouth comforts her, assuring Brooke that she and Lucas will eventually solve their problems.

Tim imagines Deb wants to spend the night with him, even though Deb’s ideas are completely different: she just wanted some plumbing help. Unfortunately, while a partially naked Tim is storming out of the Scotts’ house, Dan comes over. “The lawyers are going to love this one,” he says, delightedly. Evil Dan…
Lucas finds out about Haley’s tattoo, which is Nathan’s jersey number. Haley tells Lucas it was her idea because she’s really in love with Nathan. Meanwhile, Nathan is kind of hitting on Peyton, but they both understand it would be a mistake and they part with a goodbye kiss. In that moment, of course, Lucas sees them, but he decides not to tell Haley. Later, he assures her that he will be always there for her. Mouth has arrived home and he lets Brooke know this was the best evening ever in his whole life.

It turns out that Larry, Peyton’s father, is definitely interested in Karen. In the meantime, Keith, after Whitey’s pep talk, asks Karen to marry him.

Brooke has something to tell too. She catches up with Lucas and tells him she might be pregnant. Ouch.
