Episode 2.10 Don’t Take Me for Granted

Overview:

Nathan is concerned about Lucas’ health, so he tells Karen that Lucas didn’t take the heart test. Dan offers Keith to continue working at the dealership-as vice president. At school, Peyton must confront the rumors going around that she is a lesbian. This affects her friendship with Anna. And for Nathan and Haley, they begin to grow apart…

Recap:

Someone broke Brooke’s car window and she is sure Felix did that; on the other hand, Felix points out “I didn’t break your window baby… just your heart.”
Major problem for Peyton. Someone spray-painted the word “dike” on her locker and it seems everyone at Tree Hill can’t help staring at her. Meanwhile, Nathan and Haily have their issues too. Nathan asks her to stop seeing Chris but she claims she won’t do that, since music is too important to her.
Since Dan is back at the dealership, Keith assumes it’s time to quit his job there, but surprise, surprise… Dan wants Keith keeps working there with him.
In the meantime, Nathan tells Karen about the HCM test Lucas was supposed to take. Lucas claims he doesn’t want to know the truth, and Karen gets really angry about it.
Peyton decides to protest against the whole “dike” thing but Principle Turner isn’t thrilled. Peyton ends up being suspended.
Keith calls Jules up. Major news. He claims he does love her and his face is smiling all the way. As soon as Jules hangs up, there is a close up of her face. She is not smiling and Dan Scott is sitting next to her, congratulating her on her successful job.
Meanwhile, Felix catches up with Brooke. He begs her to let him in, since he is really interested in her. Brooke ends up giving in.
Deb owns up to Karen she did sleep with Keith. Karen’s looks hurt.
At the same time, Peyton comes in Brooke’s bedroom, she is definitely upset and needs to talk to her friend. Unfortunately Felix shows up, and Peyton can’t help but feel like the third wheel. So she storms off.
Nathan tells Lucas he can’t back out of HCM test, because no-one wants to lose him. “Not your mom. Not Keith. Not Haley. Not me.” Nathan also hinted there is a girl in Lucas’ heart and he has to talk to her.
Peyton is missing and Brooke is very worried about it.
Even though Haley decides she has to stop singing with Chris, he asks her to go to New York, where they could have the chance to become famous singers.
Peyton catches up with Rick, it seems she wants to buy cocaine, but someone shows up: Jack!!
Meanwhile, Lucas made up his mind: he drops in on Brooke’s but, since she is kissing Felix, Lucas figures it’s too late so he walks away.
