Recap:
It turns out Brooke decides to run for student council president. “I am who I am…no excuses. But I’d like other people to know that there’s a lot more to me than just some party-girl”. Her opponent is confident, never-defeated Erica Marsh who lives for the job. Erica does play the campaign dirty; that’s why Brooke asks Lucas to write a “killer” speech. Lucas suggests some words from a speech by J.F. Kennedy but she tells Brooke to remember that everything she needs to say is already in her heart.
Lucas asks Dan to let Jules and Keith go. Dan agrees – but everything has a price. He asks Lucas to move in with him and Lucas has to accept, otherwise Dan could either ruin Keith’s life or inform Karen about the real results of Lucas’ HCM test. Besides Dan offers Keith and Jules to pay them a great wedding. Keith is happy about this but Jules doesn’t look that thrilled.
Nathan discovers some e-mails to Chris from Haley on their computer and he confronts Haley about this. Haley assures Taylor wrote them, so they decide the stirring sister must leave.
Jake is back for good, moves in with Peyton and asks coach for a good word at school. “And about that safe place you’re building; don’t do it alone. There’s a lot of people here, ready to help”.
Karen can’t believe Lucas is actually moving in with Dan. She is really frustrated since she doesn’t figure out why Lucas is acting like that; of course Lucas can’t tell her the truth.
Someone else is back: Chris, as artist opening act. He dares Nathan about Haley’s love, once again. Then, since “The Wreckers” has asked him along on their tour he invites Haley to join them. She tells Nathan she wants to because it’s a great opportunity. Nathan replies she has to choose: either the tour or him. Haley makes up her mind. Bye-bye Tree Hill.
Mouth tells Brooke he broke her car window. She is stunned and can’t help but say they’re not friends anymore.
