Recap:
The episode begins with Rachel talking to Mouth at Tree Hill High, after one of the basketball games. Rachel spots a flyer that features a picture of her 14 year old self, when she was overweight. Rachel finds out that Brooke posted the flyers all around the school, and Mouth helps her dispose of them. Rachel tells Mouth about her former self, revealing that she had plastic surgery, so that she could have a better self-image and also a better self-esteem. Honey Mouth assures her he could have love the girl from that picture. And Rachel replies: "I wish she could have met you." Then, they kiss.
Coach Whitey suggests that Karen lets the guilt fall away. In the meantime, Lucas torn by the pain of Keith’s death, is forced to decide whether or not he’s gonna keep playing basketball or tell everyone about his HCM. In the end, Lucas reveals the test results to Coach Whitey and Nathan, then he resigns from the team and tells Karen about his heart-condition. They make up.
Mouth confronts Brooke about Rachel’s flyers and Brooke warns him Rachel might hurt him. Meanwhile, Nathan’s uncle, Cooper, is back in town.
After returning from the coast, Peyton is visited by Pete from Fall Out Boy, but once her father returns home and finds out about the relationship, he isn’t that thrilled. "Guy shows up at 1 a.m. in a limo, tattooed from head to toe looking for my daughter, you’re lucky all I did was send him away." Yep, Peyton is forced obey a curfew. Later, Peyton receives a call from Pete’s manager, asking her to go to Chicago with the band. After talking things over with Brooke, Peyton decides to go to the airport, but surprise, surprise… Someone is waiting for her and it’s not Pete, but Jake!
Nathan and Haley take a test to see whether or not they’re compatible to get married, since the priest residing over their wedding requires this. Nathan and Haley fail the test, but then convince the priest that they belong together after telling him about their true love for each other.
Mouth stops by Rachel’s house, holding some flowers in his hands; unfortunately, Reckless Red Hair is already busy. It turns out she is having an affair with Cooper. Mouth is hurt, hands the flowers and walks away. Rachel watches him walk away and you can see she is very sorry about the whole thing, as well.
