4.04 Can’t Stop This Thing We’ve Started

Overview:

Rumor surfaces that Brooke might be pregnant, causing Karen to worry as she fears that the baby might be Lucas’. Meanwhile, Rachel continues to get closer to Nathan when she confesses that she saw Keith during the accident.

Recap:

According to the rumors, Brooke is said to be pregnant, but as soon as Lucas finds out, Brooke denies it.
Derek is quickly getting into Peyton’s life and she is positive he is a sincere brother. Peyton tells Derek she is considering telling Lucas she is in love with him but Derek says it’s a bad idea, since Brooke is pregnant. Anyway, Lucas started to get suspicious of him when he sees Derek smelling Peyton’s hair, while Goldilocks is saying bye to him. So, Lucas catches up with Peyton and warns her not to trust her half-brother too much, but, of course, she waves the warning off.
Nathan is still confused about the limo accident. He’s going crazy, even though Haley tries to help him out. Later, Nathan buys a motorcycle and Haley isn’t that enthusiastic. "I want you to get the car back as soon as you can because I need you on this planet!".
Dan realizes he has still feelings for Karen. Meanwhile, Deb’s addiction gets worse: she fires Karen from TRIC and chooses pills over Nathan, which makes Scott jr. upset. Haley confronts Deb, warning her to stay away from Nathan. Ironically Deb promises she will save her some pills, but Haley doesn’t feel like joking: "Who are you kidding Deb? Junkies don’t save pills".
Rachel keeps getting closer Nathan: they head to the bridge where the accident occurred and Rachel shares a secret with him… That night, she did see Keith help them get out of the limo. Besides, Rachel poses for Maxim magazine, since it turns out the magazine is looking for Tree Hill’s ‘Hometown Hottie’. Brooke points out: "How about ‘Hometown Hussy’? You’ve got that one in the bag."
Close up of Derek, who seems high. Next to him, there is a girl dressed pretty much like Peyton. It turns out Derek stole Peyton’s jacket, the one Ellie gave to her. Then, Derek throws the girl a blond wig, so that she looks like Peyton’s twin. It’s clear Lucas was right.
Haley catches up with Lucas, who asks her if Brooke is pregnant. Haley tells him Brooke was afraid, but, anyway, she is not the one pregnant. Yep, it turns out Haley is pregnant. Lucas assures her it’s going to be fine, since the baby will have a good uncle, since Lucas learnt from the best ever – Keith.
As soon as Haley talks to Nathan, she has a cold surprise. Speaking about Brooke’s pregnancy, Nathan kind of said that a baby would certainly ruin Lucas’ life.
