Recap:

It all started off with scenes of Nathan crying, then, Peyton is crying, and Whitey is looking sad, all while there is an announcer saying that the Ravens lost, and that Whitey is a broken man tonight. So, it cuts to what happened before all the sadness. Daunte approached Nathan last episode and threatens him, forcing him to throw the Championship game. Nathan agrees. Nathan tells Lucas. Of course, Luke was pissed, and all "You said it was one game!". Then Lucas tells Nathan that it doesn’t matter what Nathan does, The Ravens are still going to win, and Lucas pretty much said that they were going to be battling on the court. Meanwhile, Haley is tutoring "dumbass" Rachel because last episode Rachel found out that she is failing Calculus. Rachel discovers that Haley has a key to the cabinet where all the tests are. Lucas tries to guilt Nathan into not throwing the game. The cheerleaders have to ride in an SUV together, and Brooke and Peyton exchange harsh words. Karen goes to Deb and forces her to go to Nathan’s last game. On the way there, Deb takes a pill, despite Karen telling her not to. Later, they show them still driving to the game, only this time, Deb is passed out in the passenger seat of Karen’s car. They all get to the game, and Haley goes to the restroom. Lucas tells Skills that Nathan is planning on throwing the game. They keep it between themselves, but decide to do whatever it takes to not let Nathan destroy their victory. Lucas doesn’t take his medicine. Haley takes a long time in the bathroom, and the cheerleaders find her on the bathroom floor in extreme pain. They leave the game and take her to the hospital. The first half of the game, obviously, Nathan is sucking. Lucas and Skills try not to pass him the ball. After Nathan makes another mistake to let the other team win, Skills calls him on it and the two of them fight. Daunte is in the stands, smiling, because the Ravens are losing. Then, there was a funny scene in the hospital between the cheerleaders and the mean receptionist, who has Haley waiting for a long time. Haley finally gets seen, and she is ok!!! She finds out she’s having a boy. Peyton tells Brooke that she told Lucas how she felt about him. It seems like their friendship is starting to be repaired.
It turns out the the audio from the beginning was old footage from 18 years ago, and Whitey delivers a speech on this. He tells them that if they lose, they lose, but they shouldn’t go out like this, making dumb mistakes, and fighting. Haley and the girls make it back to the game, and she tells Nathan that she’s having a boy. This makes Nathan want to turn his ways around. So, he starts to play well. Daunte doesn’t like this. Dan had left the game, but when he turned on the radio, he heard that Nathan is playing normally, and he turns back around to go watch.
We find out what happened to Deb, Karen brought her to a rehab center, and she wakes up to a nurse greeting her, and congratulating her on her son’s great playing. Ok, so the Raven’s win by like 1 point. Daunte is pissed. Everyone’s happy. Brooke talks to Lucas, and tells him that if he cares for Peyton, that’s okay. So he tells Peyton he wants to be with her and they kiss, while Brooke looks on and smiles. Dan tries to make a deal with Daunte, who couldn’t believe that Nathan, DAN SCOTT’S SON, had a soul.
They all go to Karen’s for a small party. We find out that the progress report that said that Rachel was failing was actually Brooke’s progress report, and Rachel took the fall so that Rachel could steal Haley’s key to the cabinet with all the future test in it. Lucas introduces Peyton to Haley as his girlfriend! They decide to hang out later. Dan tells Karen to let him lock up, and its just him and Lucas there. Lucas says how he wishes Keith was there. Before Nathan leaves, he tells his dad that he couldn’t throw the game, and Dan tells him to be proud of himself. He and Haley leave, and as they are walking and talking, a Lincoln comes out of nowhere. Haley pushes Nathan out of the way, and she gets hit. Daunte was driving the car, and after he hits Haley, he drives into this concrete thing, and crashes his car. Lucas and Dan hear all the noise and come running out of the coffeeshop, when Lucas sees Haley on the ground, he becomes hysterical. Lucas calls 911, while Nathan runs over to the Lincoln, pulls Daunte out of the car, and starts beating the crap out of him. Dan comes over and feels Daunte’s pulse or, lack of pulse for that matter, and says, "He’s dead son. You killed him." They hear sirens and Dan tells him to go to Haley. When Nathan leaves, Dan punches the cemented ground, hard enough to hurt his hand, to make it look like he was the one who killed Daunte. The paramedics arrive for Haley, who is still unresponsive. They ask Lucas information, and he tries to talk, but then he faints. The paramedic checks on him and says "We’ve got a full cardiac arrest! We need another ambulance over here!" They are both rushed to the hospital. Then, we understand the beginning. While Peyton is waiting for Lucas, Brooke comes over and tells her they are both in the hospital, and that its bad. Peyton starts to cry. While at the hospital, Nathan falls to the floor crying, and Whitey goes to the crime scene, and looks on sadly.
