Let’s get to know some of the newcomers while we wait for the season to start, shall we?

First up is the “sexy bartender” Owen played by Joe Manganiello. Joe is a 30 year old Pittsburgh native who seems to have experience in TV, film and theater. You may recognize him for his role as Flash Thompson in both Spider-Man or Spider-Man 3.

As for TV he was a series regular in Fox’s American Heiress. He’s had several recurring roles in some popular shows including E.R., How I Met Your Mother and So Notorious and also guest roles in Scrubs, Las Vegas, CSI. Joe has also performed in theater and has an education from The Carnegie Mellon University School of Drama.

As a hobby, Joe produces a Steeler fan documentary called DIEHARDZ that you can view on his myspace page.

So far it looks like it’s been relatively small parts but I’m guessing Joe will be quite the hit with One Tree Hill fans.
