Chad, Hilarie and Lee at NC Azalea Festival

Gosh, I’m kicking myself for not staying in Wilmington and going to the Colbie Caillat and Michelle Branch concert!! Chad, Hilarie and Lee were all there and spoke to the crowd! Anyone go and get pictures?
7:35 p.m. Chris Phillips of WWAY TV-3 comes out to introduce Azalea Festival officials, celebrities and various queens, including Miss North Carolina, Jessica Jacobs. The crowd applauds politely but is pretty subdued until Entertainment Tonight’s Kevin Frazier is introduced and makes everybody scream – twice. In separate introductions, One Tree Hill’s Lee Norris threatens to sing, and Hilarie Burton threatens to wear a hoop skirt in downtown Wilmington. The crowd screams like mad for One Tree’s Chad Michael Murray, who earnestly thanks the Wilmington crowd for “making this place home.” The fourth actor from One Tree Hill was the Azalea Festival Queen Barbara Alyn Woods, who says “the best five years of my family’s life have been in Wilmington” and calls for more projects to be filmed here.
