Episode 14 What Do You Go Home To? Reaction
Tonight was ok. I’m not smiling and clapping and ecstatic about the episode like I normally am. It was good to see everyone interacting. I felt a little like Lucas was going rounds in between everyone as they carried on with their own thing.
So first off, I’m SO glad to have this whole baby thing cleared up. It IS a foster baby and that explains so much! So for that, I did get excited for Brooke that she gets this trial period. But honestly, I’m still hoping she decides she doesn’t want to actually adopt. I’m hoping this trial will let her see that maybe that’s just not what she’s looking for. And what is up the Owen call? I think that was kind of random and really a pretty lame excuse. It was nice to see Chase again to smooth things over but also a little lame since it seemed to just be stuck in there for the Owen storyline. Maybe I’m crazy.
It was GREAT to see NHJ in full action tonight. Haley’s music sounded great and I’m so glad she’s moving forward with that. As for Nathan’s dreams, well, it looks like he has a lot of work to do. The nanny scene was funny but I was surprised they hired Deb as nanny. It does feel like a natural fit IF Deb has her head on straight now.
Mouth and Millicent were SO cute together. Her being all nervous about the virgin thing was so cute. Mouth has a Clean Teen again!! I thought that was quite funny to think about. Skills comment about Millicent walking around the house naked was hilarious. Skills is funny even when he’s mad!
I felt pretty bad for Dan this week. They sure aren’t giving him any slack.
And this week was the final Lucas and Peyton reunion a month after the wedding. The initial reaction was nice and awkward to watch. But what was with the buddy-buddy talk during a walk in the park. I just thought there would be a little arguing or more awkwardness or something. But no it was all, I’m sorry, I want you to be happy. And me too because she DOES still love me and it’s going to work out so in your face, Peyton. Ugh. I really didn’t much like that scene at all. I DO like Peyton and Lucas talking but it just seemed so…cordial. And with the looks of next week, it doesn’t seem that Lucas has let go one bit of Lindsey. I thought we were going to be over this whole thing!!
As I said, tonight was ok. Naley was good…as always. Jamie was cute rapping with Q. Deb was cute with Jamie and I think I’m pretty happy with that. The nanny interviews were cute. It was good to see Haley moving on and Nathan playing ball again. It was good to see Peyton and Lucas at least talking. Maybe they can build on their friendship again. But a few things seemed forced and weird. Dan showing up every where Nathan was…Lucas making rounds to everyone…the whole Owen/Chase thing…and wow, lots of purple monkey talk tonight!
Well, all I can seem to come up with is it was ok.

i am honestly insanely obsessed with oth, so i think every episode is amazing! haha but i especially loved naley because they seemed like they did in other seasons when they were flirty and loved each other so much. im not sure, but haley i think said bye baby, but did they ever say i love you, because i think that should haha!:) but i do think that because the end of the season is coming up, we should be watching juicier episodes by now, but as long as there is an episode to watch, im fine:P

I love the Brooke storyline! I think a child would be really good for her and grounding and Lucas thinks she’ll be great at it. I have faith in her – she’s a selfless person, which is perfect for someone with a child. I love the Lucas and Brooke talk and the whole purple monkey thing – it was nice to see the friendship between those two because it’s been basically ignored all season & they are and always have been friends.
I also loved Chase coming over. I knew Owen wouldn’t take well to the Brooke wanting a baby scenario and Chase saying call me if you need anything (OR A HUSBAND) made me love it. I would ultimately love to see Brooke with Lucas but I know that will NEVER happen and that scene made me remember why I loved Chase and Brooke when they were together. He’s not Lucas and will never been Lucas for Brooke, but he makes her smile and I think they’d be good together.
Jamie rapping was the coolest thing ever and I loved Skills this episode too! I thought this was one of the best episodes all season, if you ask me, because 5×05.

I loved that they used Joy’s real music in her scene with Peyton. That entire scene of Haley going to Peyton with her demo and then the two of them listening to it was great. I am so glad they have Haley doing music again. Let’s just hope it doesn’t end like last time
I agree that this episode was ok… certainly not great but still not entirely horrible. I am one of the few not pulling for Peyton and Lucas so their chat in the park was odd as it was too casual… I feel like they just need to end it now. Lucas is still hung-up on Lyndsay (naturally) and has yet to truly fight for Peyton the way he has with Brooke and Lyndsay.

I agree that it was ok and i dont think i am looking forward to this whole Lucas Lindsey thing in the next eppy. In a way i kind of want Chase together with Brooke, i dont know call me crazy lol. But i think this whole baby experience will be good for Brooke. I just hope everything runs smooth and turns out the right way.

I thought Haley’s character was annoying. She is only using Peyton to get what she wants. Why is Haley still in contact with Lindsey!? She is being an awful friend. She only knew her for 2yrs. I like Lindsey, just not w/Lucas. How can Lucas tell Peyton he loves Lindsey!? He’s the one that wrote the books and kept the ring. And the Brucas scene seemed very scripted and forced. Owen’s reason for leaving was ridiculous, they should have said something else.
I want the old Peyton back. The one who will say anything she wants. I’m glad the child scenerio with Brooke is only for a short-time. I still think Jamie is the cutest lil kid ever. And Nathan…he’s still hot!! I love One Tree Hill, but this episode over-all wasn’t great like the other ones…It seemed like they needed this one just to set up the future episodes.

I loved many things about this episode.
I loved Naley… there scenes together were so cute and happy finally. It was nice to see them enjoying each other and just being happy. I liked all the jokes between them as well. One thing missing… a shirtless Nathan…
I liked the Peyton scenes, but I hated the scene between Peyton and Lucas, with him talking about his past relationship with Lindsey. I didn’t enjoy that. I also think they don’t have enough scenes together.
Brooke’s story line is interesting with her getting a child. I like that she is getting more on-air time. It should be interesting with her. However, I think she needs some kind of love interest to keep me entertained.
I LOVED Mouth and his story line in this episode. So, cute and happy. His stories always bring the happiness to the episode.
So… there were good things in this episode.
I am just missing Leyton.

I enjoyed this episode because i thought that last weeks was more of a we just had a giant break and need to pull everything back together again episode and this one had more of a storyline. I am a HUGE Leyton fan, (really who else should Lucas be with, haha NO ONE) anyways i thought that there walk in the park was really awkward. He is telling Peyton, who he HAS to know, that she still loves him that he still loves Lindsey and she will come back one day, really, did he really just say that, yeah he did.
I love Naley too, and i was pretty excited to see Deb come back. I can’t wait until Dan and Deb see eachother, man that is going to be crazy. I also loved the part with Chase and Brooke, i showed me that really i want her to be with Chase way more than being with Owen, let’s face it.
Lastly i am really glad that Brooke didn’t get to adopt a child for real. I love that she gets a trail period. But i am really afraid that she is going to fall completly in love with her and not want to give her back.

Brucas! i’ve come to the realization that they might not happen but i still have hope, they were sooo cute together!!!!!! and that scene with the purple monkey was so cute! but lucas and peyton was really awkward and didnt make much sense the scene in the park, idk.

Im kind of getting the feeling that peyton and lucas arent getting back together, as well as lindsey and lucas.
I just hope something VERY interesting happens on the next episode besides lucas and lindsey!

Naley was amazing tonight. Great to see them being like before. Haley’s music was AMAZING. I’m glad we get to preview her new music (she has a new album coming out soon. I’m going to buy it as soon as it comes out) I got teary when Nathan was trying to play basketball.. it wouldn’t have been so bad if Q wasn’t taunting him. But he shouldn’t get so upset because he hasn’t played in almost a year.
I’m glad the Brooke adopting thing got cleared up. I’m sure she’ll make a great mother, I’m just not ready for another parent so soon.
Chase.. wow so happy to see him.. i wish he would come by more often lol.
Milicent and Mouth = adorable. Thats all I have to say.
Such a surprise to see Deb at the end. I wonder what she has been doing she looked gorgeous. Safe to say she’s done with drugs. And I loved the “I’m too old to be a grandma” haha.
Peyton and Lucas.. awkward. I liked seeing them talking again and interacting. But I’m getting so afraid now that maybe Leyton will be no more. Maybe Lucas really doesn’t see a future with Peyton anymore. Maybe it is really going to be him with Lindsey.
Did anyone else love the beginning? I started LOLing at Skills part “What day is it? What time is it? What did I have to drink last night?”

Okay so… where do I even begin? I have never been a huge Naley fan… I totally think they are great for each other, I have always just been a hardcore Leyton fan… but I am soooo glad Naley is finally back together and Happy… there scenes just brought a smile to my face! As for Leyton… umm they did not… I just do not understand lucas. he keeps saying she will come back to him, well get the hell of over it already, Peyton came back for you! He is always saying how Peyton said no(even though she said SOMEDAY!), well Lindsey walked out on you!!! I think the walking out is worse! Anyways ugh I am just so not looking forward to next weeks episode… I am starting to think Leyton is not going to happen, and that maybe he really does love lindsay or even Brooke! I don’t know anymore, I’m not going to give up hope though for a Lovely Leyton reunion!! I am glad that Peyton and Haley are talking again, even if it seems to be just because Haley wants help, but I have missed their friendship this season. Same with Brooke and Lucas, so glad they finally have a storyline together as a Friendship! I LOVED that Chase was there… I think him and Brooke are great together, but he did say he was leaving! : ( I do think it was dumb the way Owen left, I am assuming he is not on the show anymore, that was their way of getting rid of him? Kind of lame… anyways On to Milli and Mouth, I LOVE them, they are like my new favorite couple, ADORABLE!! And I love Skills and Jamie… they both crack me up all the time! Think thats it for tonights show, kind of dreading that Lindsey is back in next weeks eppi… ugh!

I thought this episode was pretty good. I LOVE Joy’s music, and I hope last night was a glimpse of what’s to come. I know she’s had issues with recording contracts, and I think they should make an albumn and release it as Haley James Scott. I think that would be cool. I am really loving Brooke this season. I’ve always loved Sophia, but not really the character. I think she’s grown so much, and Sophia is really getting a chance to shine. I love that Nathan and Haley both said Jamie as they woke up – so sweet. And, I really loved that they had Dan say Keith. At least he has remorse, even if he doesn’t show it outwardly. Skills is great – I want to see more of him. The whole Lucas/Peyton/Lindsey thing is driving me insane. Lucas does this thing with girls – like he did with Brooke – he pours his heart and soul into getting them back, and he never notices that they just aren’t right for eachother. Peyton is being very gracious about the whole thing. You have to truly love someone to comfort them, when all you want to do is kiss…them. But, the thing that irritates me the most is that Lucas has never faught for Payton. She’s always just been there waiting. That needs to change, and he needs to want her and fight for her. Ok, those are my two cents worth. Can’t wait to see what happens next.

Well I just want to start off with saying that it’s about time Leyton decide to talk about what happened. Did anyone else notice him looking at her with the reflection of the sunlight? Maybe I’m reading way too much into it.. but IDK if I would’ve had the same reaction to one of my friends or ex boyfriend for that matter if he was the cause of my breakup…

I’m definitly not looking forward to seeing Lindsey next week. She is so annoying and needs to go find a new home already.
As for Naley, I think they are still so adorable. They have so much love for eachother and they need to continue to see that. I thought it was cute when Nathan said something like “sorry we can’t find a nanny you think I won’t sleep with” and Haley said ” Its a little too soon”. It shows that they still have their issues and are continuing to work through them.
I kinda missed Deb in the show so it’s good to see her back.
I feel bad for Dan though, the voiceover really shed some light to the fact that he is repenting. You’d think that after saving Jaime the family would cut him some sort of slack or family time.
Brooke, I think she’s doing a great thing. I dont like the way they cut Owen out of the scene, but is he really done? I thought I saw something between Brooke and Chase…
Milli and Mouth, they are so cute!!! She is soo into him and him giving up the opportunity to be with her is so great. Skillz is awesome, I think he’s adorable with Jaime. He’s a great uncle and even better friend.
Overall, I’m happy with what the writers are doing…

Brooke and Chase…. Did you see the way they looked at each other? There is still something there! The way he told brooke to give him a call if he every needed anything (someone to talk to, or a husband.) That was great!!!! I hope they get together before the end…
Lucas and Peyton…. I don’t know where to begin! Just wasn’t feeling the love. That was weird, how do you say to someone you once loved, and still do love, that lindsey will be back I love her and she loves me to weird. If i was peyton i would have knocked him out.
Haley and Nathan… Alway great! I love that haley is getting back into her music and deb, always nice to see her. I love the way nathan didn’t know who it was.
Dan.. Everyone is being really nasty to him. I feel sorry for him.
Mouth and millent…. It’s nice to see mouth with someone as kind and sweet as he is. They were really cute. together.

Well i LOVED Nathan/Haley scenes together they were all lovely and supportive but i wish i saw more make out scenes lol
and i loved that haley is going back to music with the help of peyton, loved thier scenes together and with brooke they were funny!
Dan stil creeps me out.
it was nice to see DEB again sober and all, hope we see much of her again.
Mouth and Mili were adorable and so cute and skilz was awesome!
as for lucas he kinda bores with his wallowing!
it was nice to see chase again and i think that whole owen thing was not nicely put they just kinda wrote him off the show they could’ve done a better job with his exit.

I really liked the interaction between Chase & Brooke. There is definitely still something there and I hope the writers give them another chance. They seem great for each other, especially since he seemed ok with her decisions about having a family. Loved the husband line.
Lucas & Peyton… wasn’t feeling anything there at all. I like that they were talking but I really like him with Lindsay. It’s time to move on.
Nathan/Haley… I love that they’re getting back to what makes them Nathan & Haley. The scene with Nathan & Q in the gym was great. And I loved the scene with Haley & Peyton listening to the demo.
I really liked the part with Jamie & Q rapping… that was so cute!
And I did feel a little sorry for Dan… but the way the boys are acting is to be expected after all he’s done.

The name of Joy’s song was Leavin Town Alive. You can go to youtube and listen to a lot of her original songs. If anyone knows anywhere else to find them, I’m interested. Hope that helped.
