   I really am starting to feel bad for Dan… I feel so weird saying that, but I think he really is trying to change… everyone deserves a second chance right?! I do think acting wise… James has been incredible in the dan/nathan scenes we have seen!!

   Of course he’s still being rough on him! Dan is a convicted MURDERER and killed Keith! I don’t know how anyone would ever be able to forgive him.

   I feel a little bad for Dan but he deserves it. Nathan has every right not to want Dan in his life or his family’s life.

   I understand about how mad he is at Dan for killing Keith, but honestly, the only reason he killed Keith was because he thought that Keith had tried to kill him. After he realized it wasn’t Keith, he felt horrible, and still feels horrible about the whole thing. I feel sorry for Dan too… weird as it sounds.

   I agree that James is a phenomenal actor when it comes to these tough fight type scenes with Nate/Dan.

   I know i’ve already said this but maybe Nathan just doesn’t know what to do.?

   Like sarah said he does have every right because he doesn’t want his father treating jamie like he did to him.? I really don’t know but i too love how james actes when he does the nathan/dan scenes. He shows alot of emotion emphysis into it and it makes the scene that much better:)

   So keep it up james

   Wow that was intense….if I was in Nathan’s shoes I’d probably have a hard time letting Dan in my life but I think he should be the bigger man and forgive him. You know that unconditional love thing.

   I guess Nathan is being a little unreasonable but you gotta think about when he started trusting Dan in season 4 and then in the end Dan just screwed it up because he killed keith and just when Nathan was starting to trust him again Dan goes and once again destroys everything but i guess like i’ve said already, he just didn’t know how to react.

   HKD, like I said in another post. I get that they can’t trust him all up to the point where he’s dying AND Jamie WANTS a relationship with him. It’s just too much. Dan..who saved Jamie..deserves to have some sort of relationship at least with him before he dies.

    I think Lucas will go easier on Dan. but to forgive him about Kieth I don’t think so. For Nathan its about losing his respect to Dan .. he call him DAN what more humiliating. In opinion Dan is living the guilt for so long and he did his time in jail and still living in hell. the guy need some love from at least his grandson.

    I love Nathan (James) great actor but he is beeing a real ass when it comes to dan it seems like he is going to die and once he dose or i should say IF he dose they are going to regreat it and they can’t say they wont there are human and even dan had remorse after killing keith…

    something of topic but Nathan (James) the way he wears he socks when he plays basketball dirves me nuts he looks like an old man golfing but way hot but i noticed it from the footage of the game too just though i would bring it up

    I noticed that too!! About the socks.
    I don’t mind the idea of the socks put there always so high!! It drives me crazy!
    He just looks very weird and funny when his socks are up that high!

    I think that maybe Nathan doesn’t know what to do and it’s not just Nathan’s decision about letting Dan into Jamie’s life it’s Haley’s too. I think it’s just hard for Nathan to trust Dan because of their past.

    I think that it is good for Nathan and Haley to keep Dan away from Jamie not only for the negative influence that Dan has had on NH’s lives, but also to protect Jamie from getting hurt if/when Dan dies. As parents, they may feel they are protecting Jamie from hurt (death) if he does get close to Dan.

    It seems to me that Nathan is a bit afraid of how to approach his dads news. He seems like he may be being a bit defensive about it. I agree he should consult with haley, but I think they should be open minded about it.

    It’s amazing to see how far James has come since season 1. He has turned into an amazing actor. He and Paul feed off of each other really well on screen. I can’t wait to see what happens next with them. part of me still thinks Dan is a jerk but part of me wants Nathan to forgive him. I AM TORN!
