James Lafferty Charity Basketball Game Update

Wow, othfans.com is reporting that the 2008 game raise $65,000 for St. Jude’s.  That’s amazing!

James Lafferty with the help of his fellow cast members raised over $65,000 with his annual James Lafferty/One Tree Hill Charity Basketball Game.

The game that was held in Wilmington, NC on April 26th raised exactly $66,373 that will benefit will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, researching cures and treating children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases, Wilmington Family YMCA and Winnie’s Garden, offering assistance toward the funding, welfare and support of animal shelters and homeless pets.

Cast members that attended where James Lafferty, Sophia Bush, Bethany Joy Galeotti (who performed the National Anthem), Lee Norris, Antwon Tanner, Stephen Colletti, Barbara Alyn Woods, Stuart Lafferty, Jackson Brundage, Joe Manganiello, Executive Producer Joe Davola and series creator Mark Schwahn. The game sold out at 1,300 tickets in just 10 minutes.

    I agree with you, I would’ve gone too. But I live in Canada and I’m sort’ve 16 so theres no way that I would’ve been allowed to go alone. haha.

    lol I know I wish I could have gone.. Im not 16 and could have gone and would have if i could have gotten tickets cause me traveling not a big deal

    awwwh that sucks HKD.. well I hope he keeps up the charity game for a long time so that I can go.
    Too bad my birthday isn’t in april so i could ask to go as a birthday present. That would be like the best birthday present ever!!

    Plus, meeting James and Chad (I saw him at ILM) was pretty sweet!
