Episode 16 Cryin’ Won’t Help You Now Reaction

Whew! What an episode! You can tell we’re getting down to the wire..all the storylines are starting to wrap up and getting really juicy! And for us LPers who thought we’d have nothing but hate these last few episodes, what an episode!!! Yes, the first part was somewhat slow but it had some great moments but the end was great!

I still feel bad for Dan. I can’t help. The man is dying and I’m 100% totally convinced he has changed. And in my world, if you have a change of heart, that calls for forgiveness. I applaud Nathan for going to see him and rationally telling Dan he wasn’t allowed back in but that still sucks. I feel so bad for Jamie. And Lucas. Him saying he’s dead already. Ouch, that hurts. Which I can kind of understand from Lucas’ viewpoint since Keith was like a father to him. But Nathan..well, he has Jamie to think about. And Dan DID push him to be a great basketball player. Did anyone notice Nathan’s words to Q were almost exactly Dan’s to him? I thought for sure after that Nathan would realize how much Dan loved him and he’d let him in. But he doesn’t and denies a dying man his only wish. So sad.

Brooke was cute this episode. I love, love, love the new Baby Brooke line. That was spot on. And her saying it’s you and me, baby at the end was a-dor-a-ble. Seriously. And how about Dr. McHotty?? Loved him for all 30 seconds we saw of him.

Mouth’s declaration of love was very creative and cute. They’re so cute together!! At least they attempted to bring in Brooke into their storyline a bit with her dropping Millicent off. Mouth has yet to really interact with anyone but at least it’s a try. Oh, and Millie with that video game was hilarious!

And what’s up with Nathan and Haley? We get a great bedroom scene and then nada. I’m missing that supposed shower scene too!!

And onto my favorite part…the love triangle!

I love that Haley told Peyton about telling Lucas not to marry Lindsey. I sorta had forgotten about that (??). I liked how Haley said she realizes her subconscious came out when she was writing and she felt it was the same for Lucas. It totally prepared Peyton for what she was about to read!

And how about that little visit to Lindsey’s office. I was totally confused about why she was there until I realized…ahh..this is how she gets Lucas’ book! Just how many people suspected. Yay for Peyton really standing up for Lucas realizing how much he was hurting. I think I actually believed her this time she really wanted the best for him. But when Lindsey handed her that book and said it’s not me you have to convince, you’re the one that has to make the decision, well, I was floored!! What does that mean?? What does that book say? The whole River Court thing makes sense now because I’m assuming that’s her way of showing him she made her decision.

As for Lucas, the poor guy is still trying to get Lindsey back. I thought maybe after the key thing he’d get it but nope. Maybe after she rejects him AGAIN he’ll finally get it!

And none too soon seeing we have a huge episode next week with them! I’m not sure I totally understand what happens with the I Hate You comment and I’m not sure if I totally understand what happens after watching that promo but I CAN tell you Peyton is sitting on top of Lucas on a bed and I LOOVE IT!

i haven’t even seen if but u can tell where starting to get more drama in these last 3 episodes!!
I CAN’T WAIT FOR NEXT WEEK and this weeks episode too!!

So i loooved the part where Peyton came out at the beginning in her pjs, hair all a mess, and lucas was over… it had me cracking up!! I soooo miss comical scenes like that!! I feel as though this season is SO SERIOUS! I miss eppis like the Boy Toy auction, the cookie dough fight eppi, Dare Night, when Mouth and Nathan and Skills stripped… I miss upbeat eppis like those sooooooo much! Maybe next season once all this LL drama ends, and its decided Brucas or Leyton…we can have some fun again in tree hill… i am all for drama… but we need some fluff here and there!

My favourite scene was when Lucas, Nathan, Skillz and Jaimie were in the locker room discussing strategy and the little proud smile Nathan gave when Skillz said it was all Jaimies idea-so cute.

Also loving Millie and Mouth, Brooke with Angie and also the funny scene where Peyton came out in her PJs and tried covering up her ‘chickeny-legs’ lol.

Lots of intense scenes with Nathan/Lucas and Dan, loving that-Dan deserves everything he gets.

Can’t wait for the next epi!! The coming week is going to be a looooong one….

omg that was adorable and i loved it when skillz and jamie were playing the game and jamie was like casue 3 are better then 2s ahhhhh

and OMG JOY/HALEY is totally PREGGERS… anyone else notice BIG BABY BUMPS AND HUGE boobs…. IM TELLING YOU

EEEk that scares me too but honestly I dont see him doing that… im sure if Joy is really preggers they will write it into the show or do what they did for Moira when she was really preggers..

but is it just me or has everyone else noticed it…..

k, i’m not a leyton fan at all but what i can say is i think peyton is smart enough to not let lucas tell her he hates her and then take him back like it never happend. i don’t care if he was dunk that has to kill her. think mark is gonna make it so nobody knows what is coming. it could be brooke think at this point u can’t rule anything out with this show.

I have totally enjoyed this episode. I think Angie is adorable, she’s so cute and loves her Brooke mommy… ADORABLE… Lucas needs to get over Lindsay and onto Peyton… Peyton, shes too funny with the mess she woke up with Kudos to her for having the guts to go see Lindsay, and whatever he says in the book mustve been the breaking point for Lindsay, I mean it was blatantly obvious simply because the whole time he was writing the book he was thinking and seeing Peyton…
Millie and Mouth, soooo cute
Naley, they are hot, and she does seem to have a baby bump… but where is the sexual ACTION???

this episode was interesting bc in the beginning i thought the scientist in lucas’ book was dan bc it was being read during a dan scene, but it didnt make much sense. Aww lucas came 7am for Brooke! Sounds like someone is excited to be with someone else!BRUCAS! lol the leyton scene was funny she didnt even look that bad lol but brooke and lucas both looked her up and down lol brooke is so great with her baby so sad when she gives her up, im going to need some tissues that episode yeah def need some naley action!!!

Overall i thought that this episode was good except for that part that there were no hot naley scenes!!
I loved how lucas came for brooke and went with them! Absolutely loved the baby brooke line! And i thought peyton shoed courage and a sense that she has grown up by going to c lindsey.
I missed skillz and Jamie so much and am glad there back!
And finally something good happens to mouth! i love millicent and mouth together!

I love Brooke and Angie, and I love Jamie with Skills! Peyton with her PJs, haha. Dan… duh… and Naley, what have happen with this couple? The LL… I don’t really care, but Lucas deserves to be unhappy. I’m turning into some anti-lucas-thing here, hate, hate, hate! Though I want a Leyton reunion, still hate!

I know people say thier married and not in high school any more but it won’t hurt to have a kiss or a hug here and there right?!
Maybe it’s the whole Dan situation occupying their minds but stil that should bring them even close to each other.

What I want to know is whether Peyton draws the comet before or after Lucas says he hates her. And for all us peyton/Lucas fans, dont get too excited about the promos. Peyton is just putting his drunk butt to bed after his devestating phone call….which I am assuming that it Lindsey calling to tell him she is leaving to run some distant office(her father owns the publishing business remember). I am also guessing that the phone call in which he proposes marriage again is to Lindsey, cause really can you see it being to anyone else as much as he’s pined over her?

I could so see a marriage proposal to Brooke after a messed up series of events involving lindsey,peyton and lucas. I think they could do it as a last line of the show and leave us hanging all summer on whether Brooke is going to say yes or no. OR the last line might be the proposal and we have to wait all summer to see who it is to! That would SUCK!!!!!!!!!!

about the proposal topic: i think either way it’ll suck=D i mean leyton fans obviously want lucas to propose to peyton, which clearly won’t happen in this season as he’s so much in love now with lindsey. though i hope he’ll realise his true love is peyton=)
anyway i’m curious who is the myterious person from peyton’s life who’s gonna be back…

one more thing actually i don’t see how could brooke accept lucas’s prop. as she’s peyton’s bff and i don’t thing she would throw this relationship away for lucas at all…though she really seems to love him as well…interesting question

The marriage proposal isn’t going to be to Brooke (it could be but I don’t think so) and not to Lindsey (5.18 is her last episode) so its going to be Peyton.

I really, truly felt sorry for Dan. He really is trying, but they can’t forgive him. I was starting to cry when Dan threw his glass at the mirror because he realized his life was over, no one was going to forgive him. I can’t believe Haley threw away Jamies picture.. and Lucas telling Dan he was dead to them already? :(

I loved this episode & that trailer for next week is totally misleading!

I could tell Lucas was drunk.

For the other Naley fans…maybe they aren’t have a lot of Naley sex/make-out scenes cuz Joy’s baby bump might show or something. That can be pretty akward to shoot.

i want to know when that is! i am the biggest naley fan ever and when i saw that in spoilers i was so excited but it wasnt in 5.15 =[ do you know when it will show up in the last two episodes and if they will ever show anymore chemistry i mean come on tehy are the only couple on the show, they need to show the loveeeeeee
