*Clapping* Yay! It was the predictions on the table. AND almost all of them were about Peyton (again, they throw in a Brooke one…not hating on Brucas fans because again, I’m a Brucas fan too but come on, the SL is SO pointing the Leyton and they can’t seem to just let it be. ANYWAY). AND was the news from Mia about someone knowing Ellie the whole news from a ghost in her past? Do you think the thing she has to go do is the Rivercourt? I think I make it to Monday now!!

1) Its not monday and it still is so far away
2) Peyton messed up one of the best quotes from one tree hill if you are gonna use something again at least say it as nicely as it was the first 3 times

I totally love this scene, but why is Haley torturing Peyton? Lucas is treating Peyton like crap and all anybody is saying to her is that Lucas still loves her.
And I agree with whoever said that Peyton looks really good in this scene. It seems like every episode she looks a bit different and better each time.

maybe Ellie gave him some details or wrote him a letter before she died like the one she left Peyton.

After watching the clip for like the third time, I think maybe Peyton is looking at the Cure album. Maybe that and what Haley says about people writing what they can’t say leads Peyton to the rivercourt.

ok. i was surprised thats a sneek peak. but otherwise i dont think that peyton needed that to know he cares. 1. he was drunk and his fiance choose not to marry him and 2. he wouldnt of done the things he has done for her if he didnt care: such as going back to save her in the shooting, or help her with psyco derek or go with her to see if it was her dad and so on… but w.e
but besides that, i think the “ghost of her past” will be either ian or derek… but i really hope its jake.

The “ghost” could be her real father, because it said Mia send her a e-mail saying she met this guy that knew Ellie. So it’s either someone that knows Ellie not met her, so it can’t be Jake, because he never met Ellie she died before Jake appeared in S3 (he could know about her, but it’s someone that knows well I guess). I think it’s either Derek or her real father.

Nah, Peyton isn’t saying goodbye, goodbye, she is just saying goodbye for now. She may be wrapped up in her lost love but she isn’t stupid. She has a business that is thriving, she isn’t going to leave it or leave Haley in the middle of the recording she is too good a friend for that.
The email from Mia about someone who knew Ellie - gotta be the long-lost biological father. Her phone call could be about the Gavin DeGraw visit.
I still say they are playing with the timeline all over the place. I say Lucas does the Vegas phone call early in the episode.
I think the call with Lindsey is her saying what others have said that she tells him she lied and isn’t seeing anyone, blah, blah, blah, but by then he has already found his connnection with Peyton.
Brooke’s call is to give the baby back and I think her handing off the purple monkey to Lucas is another sign for him to open his heart back to Peyton.
And the one person was right, the toss in about Brooke in his prediction letters was for comedic purposes. Like when you are reading something to someone and you get to a part you should have skipped over and you are like, oh yeah, that wasn’t part of what I wanted to read.
Haley has known Lucas his WHOLE life, I think it is great she is trying to help him discover his heart. And I always enjoyed the Peyton and Haley friendship from the early years and it is great to see them back to that.
If that clip doesn’t tell you theis WHOLE fifth season hasn’t been about getting Lucas and Peyton together then you are in serious denial and have been watching the wrong show.

Maybe they will pull a Veronica Mars season one ending. At the end of season one of VM she opens the door and says I was hoping it was you - the audience not knowing if it was Duncan or Logan.
Maybe Lucas leaves the ticket at the gate and you see him getting on the plane by himself and sitting on the plane. (Wasn’t there a spoiler that said they were needing extras for people on a plane?) And then you see him in his seat and look up and say “I am glad you decided to come.”
Hmm, that sounds like a gut-wrenching finale. Spend the summer chewing on that. LOL

Ah, i would really love to see Brooke and Lucas get back together. I think the whole Peyton-Lucas thing should be dealt with fast. Their history is just as it is… history. They will never be an item again… Brooke is a better person, and Peyton pales in comparison. Lucas must know that. Well, about Lindsey, having her in the storyline was a breathtaker, but come on, she doesn’t deserve Lucas, neither does Peyton. Lucas gave his heart to her, proposed to her and she rejected him. So that should be the end of it !

Maybe the ghost is the sarcastic goth angel that ( well actually is Peyton) helped Peyton to find Ellie before it was to late… She`s back to help Peyton find herself… To be honest i don`t think so but that was the first thing that I thought of, and too, maybe Lucas didin`t call any of the girls, maybe some totally other… I honest dosen?`t think that either so I really don`t know why I`m writing here^^

Peyton was actually the mature one in the Lucas proposal. They were 19. There is NO WAY I was ready to marry at 19. Peyton understood their lives were all over the place right then. She also knew she loved Lucas and did want to SPEND THE REST OF HER LIFE with him, but needed some time to find herself before committing her life to him. Hench the someday.
Most people who marry young don’t make it. You marry a boy or a girl and when they become a man or woman their wants and needs change with maturity. Look at the struggles Nathan and Haley have had.
I think of the two, Peyton is the one that has truly found herself. She took control of her life, got out of LA, went back to her roots, and is now pursuing her dream of working with music. Lucas is still wallowing in what he believes his life should be, struggling at writing a second book and playing at being a head coach. Because a mature coach, responsible for the direction of young men on a basketball court, would not have taken his personal life on the court and grabbed a kid during a basketball game. College coaches, sometimes can get a way with grabbing their own player, but a high school coach grabbing an opposing player would have gotten more then a 10 game suspension in the real world.
Hmm, maybe I don’t want Peyton to stoop down and take Lucas back. LOL

I have a feeling though we are not going to get much Leyton interaction tomorrow night but keep us hanging until next season!!! Wow, way to start a Sunday Morning!
I so LOVE the Peyton/Haley scene and I am cautiously exicted. I know what I think will or should happen, but I will just wait to see if it actually plays out.
I totally think the “Ghost” they have been referring to is Ellie and the mention of her gives Peyton the inspiration for what she writes on the RC. Peyton was holding “The Cure” album in her hand as Haley came in, so I think something happens or she is told something that prompts her to take the album out and look at it.
I love the line that Haley says about “Sometimes we write down what we can’t say”, and this completely relates to Lucas latest book. His book was again inspired by Peyton. I also am so happy that someone, expecially Haley said the Lucas is “just scared”, and I think we all know this.
Whatever happens, I am so looking forward to Monday and it looks like it will be a lot of twists and turns but hopefully we will be happy with the end result.

actually yeah, all of his predictions have came true except for the Peyton Scott one. Because he did try again with Brooke! But you never know! When she says she has something to go do…I think maybe its to go and write those lyrics on the rivercourt? Maybe she uses writing/lyrics/music to express the things she has been unable to say? Or maybe it’ll get to Lucas. I dunno, I’m holding onto hope but sometimes you just never know.

if its not peyton then we have wasted 6 months on a season…all the other seasons have had equal stories as in no story was huge amongst all others…this season has been them from the get go…we have watched there demise…we have watched her attempt time and time again…and her even attempt to get him back with lindsey…if you ask me he hit rock bottom and the only thing left to happen this season will be for them to be together again…with him being the one to finally open up and reach out…even if he doesnt call peyton, you know “that” scene for them will come were it all comes out and i believe she will finally call him out on being scared to open up…but if something is not for sure resolved as in we wont be or will be together this season = waste

Yeah I think Denise might be right too. That way they can do what they want with that story line! I have this feeling that’ll be the big cliffhanger. I know that Dan gets hit…I’m not sure if we know yet if he dies or not though many people said he does. That could be another cliffhanger though too? I just really hope we know which girl he chooses before the end of the finale…I don’t think I can wait 3 months. Another reason I think Denise is right is because the Lucas/Lindsey wedding was originally supposed to be the last episode this season until they ordered six more. At the end Lindsey runs out…and when it comes to that story line we have NO idea if he ends up with Lindsey or Peyton…if he would have chased Lindsey and convinced her to come back and such. Obviously the six episodes they added haven’t been him and Peyton together…but I have this feeling Mark will want to end the season the same way he ended the wedding episode…complete uncertainty!

Yeah, thats probably true. But I think season six will be great. This entire season has been a let down to leytoners so I suppose if something good doesn’t happen between them now, it wont be out of character. Still–something has to happen. We all keep forgetting that they haven’t had many scenes (GOOD scenes) together this season where they are happy. Something needs to be resolved! Even if they aren’t in the same scenes, they’re part of that big story line. Just over a day now…and we’ll find out! AHH!

An author has a meaning for everything he writes. There is a beginning, with that opening scene that hooks the reader or the viewer.
For me? It was Peyton almost hitting Lucas with her car and his slow and deliberate entrance into Peyton’s life and the peeling away of her layers to reveal more then the star player’s girlfriend or the cheerleader who lives for Friday night games and Saturday night parties.
Then there is the middle were the two protagonists face great adversity. In an epic story the hero must go on a quest to save his kingdom or even the female protagonist. Antiquated story telling? Yes, but the model for just about every love or epic love story you have ever read or seen.
Lucas is on a quest, but not for the holy grail or great treasure. But on a quest to find his true heart’s desire. And hmmm, doesn’t it seem Peyton has been very PATIENT with him while he quests?

I really hate how OTH turned the predictions thing from a Brucas symbol to a Leyton symbol. Lucas’s predictions in senior year were about trying again with Brooke and even Haley’s senior year - one of the first ones that Haley wrote down was that Lucas wouldn’t give up on Brooke. I don’t understand why they would twist a whole Brucas thing into an unnecessary Leyton thing.

I am going to love to watch fans of Brooke and Lucas together eat their words when it is Lucas and Peyton together at the end. It is how it started and how it will end.
BTW, Lucas and Brooke can be close as friends because the burning desire of love isn’t in their hearts anymore. When you can barely be able to be in a room with someone because it hurts your heart so and you know living without that person will leave a hole in you heart for the rest of your life, that is true love.
That sounds like, hmmmm, LUCAS AND PEYTON!!!

The prediction is not BL thing. It’s LH. Haley is just showing Peyton that Lucas doesn’t hate her, She always had a big part in his heart. Also considering how he had Peyton on the list since he was 12 or 13. I don’t see how it’s relates.

Actually the predictions are not soley brucas because in the scene where he makes that last prediction, Haley talks about all the Peyton predictions he had made and teased hom specifically about the one that said “I will talk to Peyton Sawyer”.
Now if she starts writing him a letter for every day of the week- then yes, that is stealing from a Brucas theme. These predictions are part of Lucas and what he was feeling each year. Obviously he was feeling Peyton for quite some time.

It is hard for people to give up on a dream, but it is easy to hide from it. You can deny your dream and walk away from it to avoid the hurt and dissapointment you might feel if the dream didn’t come to fruition.
When Lucas was sitting on that bus, after winning the college conference championship, he pulled out his phone and looked at a picture of Peyton. In that moment his dream was to jump on a plane and fly to LA, see his dream girl and live out his dream. Which was to spend the rest of his life with the one person who had been haunting his dreams since he was 12 years old.
But his dream, in his mind, became a nightmare, when this amazing girl who held his heart, told him someday to his forever. Now, she wasn’t saying no, she was being reasonable. But to the boy who loved the girl from afar for so long, he was hearing he wasn’t worthy. That his dream and hers weren’t the same.
So, he leaves, hiding his heart and his dream. He finds Lindsey and she is easy to be with. There isn’t drama and he can have a semblence of his dream life. But when Peyton comes back his dream is re-awakened and his dream girl haunts his dream again. It is why he started writing again. His muse returned.
Now, would you want to be any other romantic interest in Lucas’ life if Peyton had that much of an affect on him. If you like Brooke would you want that for her?
Lucas and Peyton are not great people when they are a apart. They are reflective, brooding and as we have seen hurtful. It is because they are living half lives. And are only truly one person when they are together.
How could you want nothing less for them then for them to be together? If nothing else then for the sanity of their friends who constantly have to play cheerleader when they are a part.

I love the relationship between Leyton. I’d agree that both Leyton and Brucas are existent and have a chance to be endgame. Whoever it is, i’ll be happy as long as all of the characters are happy in the end. Tomorrows episode will be great, but I dunno if it’ll give us an idea of how season 6 will really end up. He could pick Peyton and then end up with brooke in season 6 or he could pick Brooke and end up with Peyton in season 6. Usually the cliffhangers are a little deceiving. Either way, can’t wait to see what happens tomorrow night and to talk about it afterwards of course!

my god i dont even know why i just spent like the past 20 mintues reading all of these friggin comments when i knew that it was gonna be just a “leyton forever” “no brucas forever” “no leyton is mean to be” “no brucas is mean to be” can’t we just drop it and just watch the show to see what happens and be happy or sad or w/e. i mean it doesnt really matter what we say on this page about who should be with who because in the end its all up to the writers. they’ve got their little plots planned out in their heads and somehow they’re gonna put it all together to bring another great season. and yes we all have our own opinions but seriously this is just ridiculous. we’re like over analyzing this show and its come to a point where if someone was to read this its like “when do you even have time to just watch and enjoy” rather than constantly thinking about “oh yeah brucas fans, take that, eat your words” or brucas fans being all “omg that scene right there toooootally proves that they’re end game” SERIOUSLY. just stop it. its really annoying. think about it. i’m sorry to just blurt all this out but i mean after reading THIS comment page ,and god knows what other pages are out there like this, i just want us to all just realize how ludicrous this has become.

most of us do plan on waiting to see what happens. We just happen to support things one way or another… and if we debate something or say something, its a personal opinion. It isn’t always Leyton VS. Brucas stuff, though sometimes it is. Even though many of us share different opinions, the majority of us get along great! Even though I support Leyton, I love talking to people that support Brucas because a lot of the things they say are great to hear. In the end, its just nice to have people to talk to with a common interest–being OTH.

hi this is my first time commenting on any of the posts. but first off i have to say this site is amazing! lol. well i have to say it is quite interesting how all of us can find all these reasons and see what we see in the show, especially about brucas and leyton stuff. and i think the brucas fans are doing really well w/ seeing beyond the moments and finding true meanging that leads to brucas which must be hard since a lot of people were seeing this season as a way for leyton. but i think both couple is fair game for the end. anyway i was reading the last couple comments and i do agree that some of us get out of hand. i mean even me reading through some of the comments was like ‘oh my goodness this is a liiiiiiiiitle bit crazy’ but i guess theres nothing really wrong with it. it just most times on other sites that people talk about the whole bl vs. lp thing its like so vicious lol. oh why i’m like rambling on hehe woops. i think i’ll stop now. =)

Yeah, I think Haley got wrapped up in her Lindsey crush for a while. I guess I can’t blame her, with Lindsey being Lucas’ love and Peyton out of the picture.
But Haley has known Lucas all her life and I think she can read him pretty well. She started seeing the subtle differences in him when Peyton returned. Then he starts writing again and she reads the book.
The five core characters have been through a lot. I think she read the book and the lightbulb went off in her head. OMG, the book is about Peyton.
She has two friends who are lost and I think she had her eyes opened with that book. Now Haley is just trying to give the same moment of clarity to Lucas and Peyton.
Cause lets fac it these two are about as far away and lost from each other as can be. But I think Haley is the map that will lead them back to each other.
