Best Songs of Season 5

Alrighty, I was just watching Season 2 (yes, second weekend in a row…our parents are actually catching up–isn’t that hilarious??) and heard some great music.   I was thinking…I don’t want to miss out on all the great music that was on this season.  Yes, it was a lot and maybe too much at times but I know there was some great stuff in there.

If you’re an OTH music junkie or even just found a song or two this season, what were they?  I’d love to create a sort of “Best Songs of Season 5″ type list just so I don’t miss out again.  I’ll get us started…

    Have u been watching soapnet on saturday mornings??? Hehehehe… they are playing season 2. Weekdays are season 1 eppys :) Gotta get my OTH fix somehow ;P

    Haha, no, we’ve been watching Heather’s DVD set. We’ve watched Season 1 and most of Season 2 so far since Memorial Day. We always have to find a time when all of us can get together…which isn’t too often.

    jaylaff, you know the only thing that bothers me about Hallelujah?? Is that Jason Castro had JUST performed that on American Idol so I was just so over it when I heard her version. It was good and all but I just can’t get into it. I preferred Jason’s :( Sorry, just my 2 cents on that.

    ok does anyone know the name of the song…
    in one of the first episodes (where Quentin tries to show Luke he IS the team and slam dunks the ball)

    the background music is

    “as i walk through the kingdom of the valley of the shadow of death”

    it’s not the original its a remix or cover and i love it!! does anyone know?

    I’m a total music junkie, and I looove the music that they put on the show. Gavin Degraw’s new album is awsome. Kate Voegele rocks!!
    If I had to choose, I would say that the best song this season is definitely THE FRESHMEN! by the Verve Pipe. It made the scene so intense that it had me crying. It’s been my favorite song ever since.

    speaking of song can any one tell me the name of the song I think its in season 2 when jake leaves and Brooke and Karen are spending time with Peyton and they are at tric and Deb shows up and they start to play a song called _______________ and they start to dance then Andy comes in….. can anyone tell me the name of the band and the song….

    loved ashes and wine… loved feel this and I LOVED Hallelujah and Kindly unspoaken well any of Kate song…. But Can we include the Libray song… the I hate Peyton and the Lindsey song hahahahha :D

    does any one know the name of the song that is playing when Nathan finally realises he has too much to loose and is wheels the chair into the pool… it sounds like music of “here comes the sun” its driving me mental… I just was watching it and I cant figure it out….

    wow so much amazng music this season. after I heard kate voegele sing hallelujah, I have played that song on my iPod like a million and a half times.I agree with all the music, all kate voegele music is amazing,im in love with a girl by gavin degraw is amazing!

    oh yeah, brucasfan, the song in 502, the ending song when nathan pushes himself into the pool is called Back When You Were Good by The Hours. If you want to find out more of the music played, you can go to http://www.oth-music.com and all of the music is there. there is a list of the songs by episode and the order in each episode or alphabetical by artist. wow i just realized i probably sounded like a wierd advertiser for a wierd website, but no, i just go to that website almost as much as i go to this one.
