I know we’ve talked this movie into the ground but Hilarie Burton’s movie The List is NOW AVAILABLE for $19.99! (You can also get Robert Whitlow’s book The List on which the film is based.) I checked Target and couldn’t find the DVD and WalMart has it but it’s $23. Heather L is reporting it for $19.99. I’d like to hear what everyone thinks once they watch it!
*Thanks, Denise, for pointing out you can get it from Amazon Unbox instantly for $14.99. Oh, and eBay has some great deals on the DVD as well.
Now go forth and watch and report back!

I just finished watching it and I have to say it was one of the most boring movies I have ever seen haha sorry I just thought it wasn’t that interesting the whole storyline was kind of dull and it just didn’t have anything interesting the only part I liked was the end! And wasn’t the movie supposed to be scary?? I didn’t get scared not once and I get scared very easily!
I do have to say this Hilarie Burton was Amazing in it though she was really good like always! And I liked the guy the lead guy! And the whole background scene was beautiful

Jay, I tend to agree with you..not sure where the scary part was. I think Hilarie was excellent in it though.

Dude I totally went to Blockbuster today and they had no copies. I mean they only had a few to begin with but they were gone. I was so disappointed, I couldnt believe it lol. I guess a lot of people heard it was a good movie, or they just love Hillary!

I have to say I am only about half way through the movie, but so far I think it is really good.

I just finished the movie. I have been to Charleston four times in the last year so it was nice to see all the places I have been to.
As for the movie, it was very good. A lesson in not being blinded by the promise of taking the easy way out or easy money.
And how the power of your belief can lead you from the brink and take you out of the darkness and into the light.
I liked Hilarie in her role of Jo. She was strong yet vulnerable at the same time. It was a good role for her. And played to her southern upbringing.
I hope no one goes into this film with the belief it is some scary movie. It is far from that.
It is a story of a man’s journey to forgive his father and to become the man he wants to be instead of the man he believed he should be.

So, i picked up a copy at walmart and i have watched most of it, because i had a drive from gainesville to tallahassee and i had my laptop with me. so, like i said, i watched most of it and it was pretty good. Hilarie was really good in it. it was strange to see her in it just because i have known her as “Peyton” for so long and her character was half like peyton, half like a completely different person. she definitely dressed differently and it was weird to see her into the religion thing. we don’t see her get into religion on the show (music is her religion it seems :))
it was also cool to see someone else form another show that Hilarie was in. the landlady at renny’s house was Grams on Dawson’s Creek. and speaking of, there were parts of this movie that that woman creeped me out.
and seeing Hilarie’s season 3 haircut was cool to see again.

Hilarie Burton also made a movie called solstice, it looks kind of scary and interesting but i can’t find it anywhere and I don’t want to order from the internet because I don’t know how good it really is, but it would be nice if somebody would tell me if they saw it and if you did how good was it?

Michelle, I got the movie off my Netflix. I really liked it. Not so much scary but suspenseful. It has the girl who played Shelly on OTH, the girl who played Lilly from Veronica Mars, and the guy who was Iceman in X-Men, Troy in Veronica Mars and Jimmy on Smallville.
Hilarie is really good in the movie. She isn’t the lead, though. The girl who played Shelly is.

Michelle I saw solstice and honestly
I was SOOOOOO disapointed your not missing anything.
and it’s not scary at all and I was almost sleeping but the end it’s kind of funny.

I thought Hilarie would have a bigger role on it and that the movie would be more good I mean it’s not THAT BAD but I thought it would be better. Hilarie was good on it but the movie itself wasn’t that good.
if you like horor movie like me your gonna laugh if it scares you ( horor movie) then your gonna fastforward a little bit in the end lol. MY friend did soo I never understood the complete movie lol but it still not the best movie of the year.

I really liked the movie. I think Hilarie was great and she wasn’t like Peyton at all which is always a concern when a well-known tv actor/actress makes a movie. And get this they actually let her be happy in the movie which was a nice change of pace. In fact I would love it if Mark and the powers that be could figure out a way to get Chuck Carrington in Tree Hill…as a love interest for Peyton. I’m guessing since Lindsey is back that Peyton isn’t getting her happy ever after so she should get a happy right now. But the movie is def. worth watching!!
