News flash: It has been decided! I can’t say exactly who, sorry, because that is a huge reveal, and Mark Schwan would promptly open a can of whup-ass on me, but I can tell you the script has been written, and I think many of you will be happy. (I am.) In other news, Nanny Carrie is back! And so is Brooke’s mom! God help us all. If Nanny See You Next Tuesday so much as touches a hair on Nathan, Haley or Jamie’s heads, I will fly right out to N.C. and snap her in two.

omg I cannot believe what I just read two things one WHY THE HECK IS NANNY CARRIE BACK???? I hated her and I don’t want her to come in between the lovely naley or jamie
I will be pissed if she tries anything I hope Dan doesn’t die so he can keep an eye on that witch of a character!!!! Grrrrr lol!! okay and secondly I know for a fact that Kristin is a leyton fan she has said it before so I am soooooo happy that she said (I am) because I think that means one thing it’s LEYTON!!! I hope so I love them and that would make my whole season ugh I hate not knowing I wish I was her that is soooo not fair lol

Though she tries to hide it, if you go back and look at previous Kristin comments about Lucas and Peyton you can tell she is a Leyton fan. So, I am about 90 percent sure she is happy and says most other fans will be happy because Lucas chooses Peyton.
But truly, can you really be surprised it isn’t Peyton. Even if he chooses her doesn’t mean all happiness and roses, but if Lucas doesn’t call Peyton then that is the end of their interaction with each other. At this moment, Lucas and Peyton can not be friends. He can’t choose another woman after all she has done to prove her love to him and then you expect them to have a pick-up game at the Rivercourt and go for pizza and beer after watching a football game.
No, they have to have their shot. It may end up happily ever after or it may a rocky road. But, all I know is that OTH can’t survive without Hilarie and Chad working together in a lot of scenes because they have some of the best chemistry on the show and it shines through Lucas and Peyton.
End of story.

Here is my predicitions…Lucas calls Lindsey and Peyton finds out and flies to Vegas to stop them from getting married. It wouldn’t make sense for him to call anyone other than Lindsay considering she is going to be around for at least six episodes. I don’t think it would be a huge reveal if it were Peyton because so many people are wanting it to be her. There has to be a twist in there somewhere, I mean, we are talking about Mark Schwahn here!

DENISE ~ I think i actually agree with you on this one… Leyton need to get together before either can move on to the ppl they are meant to be with * Lucas with brooke and peyton well i dont know yet…. I mean mark wont have peyton one season pinning away from lucas for what is a timeframe of like 6 month to all of a sudden be like sorry lucas I thought i loved you but nah.. No way Peyton would fly to Vegas. No way. That isn’t how Peyton has acted before and wouldn’t do it now. If she was going to stop a wedding she would have stopped the first attempt.
No, it has to be Peyton. If it isn’t Peyton, at least for now, it is a corner they have painted themselves into and can’t get out of. Lucas doesn’t call Peyton and it cuts the throat of the show.
Because as I have said and said and said, Lucas and Peyton can’t be friends now. No way in HELL!!!

Peyton totally wouldn”t fly to vegas to break up Lucas and Lindsey.
If this does turn out to be the final season they need to get Lucas and Peyton together soon because we don”t want a “gilmore girls” thing and only get them for the last 2 minutes of the series!
Writers of a series always have their endings planned out. Especially mark b/c it was a movie script first. The first episodes were the outline for the movie and in the end of those episodes Mark sets up the scene for Leyton.

LOL I was kidding. But I just saw the opening scene from season five episode four with Brooke and Peyton and I am so crushing on the Brooke and Peyton frienship right now. Rewatching it, I believe it was the driving force of the season. Spot on. The two being so close reminds me of me and my best friend. We just know when something is wrong and always there for each other.

Btw, I just re - read the thing, and it says “many of us will be happy” which means we can safely rule out Lindsey. Now, since half of us our Leyton fans and the other are Brucas fans we will be spending the whole summer fighting over who it is. Whoopie.

Settle in, this whole debate is going to last all summer and beyond. TPTB perpetuated it because they didn’t have the balls to make a decision. They live in the past and believe viewers aren’t saavy enough to watch a couple together and working on their problems. They like the easy out of push and pull and the boring standard of triangles.
I am just surprised Kristin was able to pry the answer out of TPTB. But I guess they knew the natives were getting restless. TVguide.com usually follows with spoilers on Tuesday. Wonder what those will be?

I think we can stave off the war brucasfan if we just make a packed to at least agree before anything can move forward season six HAS to start with Lucas and Peyton. As we have said before.
You can’t hand your fans and idiot card and expect them to believe Peyton does a complete turn around and forget her heart-wrenching love for Lucas and watch him be with someone else. And also belive TPTB (see above LOL) had Peyton paint the HUGE rivercourt love letter and it not mean anything or touch Lucas’ soul.

i think that lucas does call lindsey, but she says no, but he still go’s to vegas and while he’s there Peyton shows up(maybe thats where she meets the person mia says knows her) which would explain one of the girls going there, but there won’t be a wedding. They have to save that till the end.

Ahh, but the spoiler says Kristin knows who Lucas chooses. Not who he happens upon. It is who he calls. And you add to that the fact that in an earlier spoiler, at the end of season five, Kristin said Lucas calls either Peyton or Lindsey. And the fact that she said “many of you” not “some” would be happy and that she was it is Peyton.

yes but lucas still expressed to lindsey how much he loved her at the end, maybe lindsey does say yes and they get there and something happens, as much as i’d love it to be peyton i just don’t think they’ll have it be her of course she would say yes, and i’d think that they would have peyton get her dream wedding with lucas not a fast one in vegas. or maybe he thinks he’s calling lindsey but instead it’s peyton and she shows up not realizing the call was meant for lindsey. if it’s not lindsey why would she be back?

It is going to be Peyton because they are going to give you what you want but it will be one of those things where they say “Careful what you wish for.”
And after all that has happened who is to say you take Mark for face value on anything he says. Of course he isn’t going to say Lindsey isn’t goint to be back because it would “ruin” his little triangle or square or whatever the hell he is working with now.
But, I also know they probably realized the fan base was getting tired of some of this crap and leaked a partial spoiler to give people hope.

You know what would be really funny to see happen? Lucas accidentally dialed the wrong number and instead of calling Peyton he calls Lindsey, she says yes and when she gets there he’s like WTF! I mean all the girls said was like one word and Lucas proceeded to do all the talking.

I am hoping for some drastic yet subtle changes in season 6. The reason the show is loved, adored, and sometimes even inspirational to it’s viewers compared to other shows (in my personal opinion anyway) is because of it’s deep, unique, and universal messages. The show deals with single mothers, dysfunctial families, classim, rivalry, self esteem issues, divorces, pain, endless passion, literary elements, and inconcievable love stories. Love so strong, it literally leaves viewers breathless. And each one has it’s unique history behind it, Naley being the focal point. And I like that because in order to have the show be realistic and satisfying one couple must be consistent and stable. However when you watch season 1 and season 2 you see Lucas fall into the traps of popularity, sex, and attention that he never got in his childhood, but he stays rooted on the rivercourt with his childhood friends. The character of Lucas reels viewers into the show. Lucas has a huge heart, not for one person, but everyone and looks for the well being of everyone. His intentions and acts of kindness is overwhelming. it is almost insane to have someone so wonderful. He slips at times, as do normal people, but his true aura is that of a kind spirit, like his guide and idol–Keith. Peyton too has that, but she hides it in fear of pain and rejection, and losing her loved ones. She is very easily approachable, and she is very deep. I love her character, she is probably one of the most interesting characters on the show, and I feel like they really are destined with eachother. Both characters Brooke and Peyton work for me, but I think that Brookes love for Lucas was for the wrong reasons simply because if you notice, Brooke is very unsure of herself, and has low self esteem and worries about others opinions of her. When Lucas realizes another side of her that others choose not to see, she likes him for that very reason. She finds something in him she finds in noone else. But I don’t think they are “meant” for eachother, or that they have an epic love story. They “work” but work is not my definition of love. And it may SEEM that Peyton was the cause of the turmoil in their relationship but I personally think it was just destined. Brooke dealt with issues very differently than Lucas and although she was “there” for Lucas when keith died, they just were not on the same level ever. Lucas and Peyton are mutually there for eachother in times of need, and sometimes don’t even need to let each other in because they just understand eachother. They’re relationship as friends and love interests transcends to a whole new level. And a lot of people say that season 4 was boring but I think it was just because everything was coming to an end, Naley were settled, and now a married couple and there were less sex scenes, and so it got kind of boring, and everyone was more concerned with what happens to Dan. Peyton and Lucas MAKE SO MUCH SENSE in the whole OTH seasons. Brooke and Lucas was more of infatuation, and sex, and fun, then it was love. Love is in time of need, in pain, in everything and even whether or not Lucas or Peyton realize it in the show they are meant for eachother, and everyone who views it and really grasps the message of One Tree hill knows it, even if does not cater to fans, whether it is Leyton or Brucras fans. I just season 5 was this horrible so that season 6 could be wonderful. Because the bondships were broken, new characters didn’t really have a place, and Lucas was everything that he does not stand for. This show gives hope for people’s REAL LIVES. It’s an escape for me, so to Mark, or whoever will read my long comment, INSPIRE US ONCE AGAIN. do the right thing. whether it be now or whenever. make a work of art when you write the new scripts for season 6 that will speak for ages. Don’t try to write a script to please fans with preferences of certain love interests. This show gives me and a lot of other people something that no show, or movie has ever given us. This makes history for film in general. The first 3 seasons were amazing. especially season 1. Just bring Lucas and Peyton back because they are meant for eachother. Even if they aren’t realistic, that is the point. LOVE HAS NO LIMITS. I see Brooke (who I loved so much because she matured so much and saved lives in season 5) as being happy with someone else like a doctor who is educated and succesful like her. I have faith that Brooke can find someone more suitable than Lucas for her. TRUST ME! but I see Peyton as needing Lucas and him needing her. They are meant for eachother. even if that is selfish.

No one dials on their cell phone anymore. The just look up the name. And, it isn’t logistically possible for Lucas to call Lindsey. She is back in New York. She was already at the airport leaving Tree Hill when she got the message from Lucas.
Lucas said he was at THE airport. If he had gotten Lindsey’s message about blah, blah blah (I can’t even repeat her dribble) and he LOVED her so he woudld have been on a plane to NY.
Instead he goes to Brooke and Peyton’s house in search of Peyton and then to Peyton’s work. Where he proceeds to tell Peyton about the first time he saw her, how hard it was getting over here, how he still isn’t over her and how hard it is to see her.
This is not the actions of a man so DEEPLY in love with Lindsey. This is a man conflicted. Turn between the easy route, Lindsey, and the path with rough spots that leads to true love.
Oh and I just watched the 5×4 episode where Lucas leans in and tells Peyton the bartender isn’t good enough for her. He was okay with Peyton being back, he was okay in helping her with her business, but he wasn’t okay seeing her interested in someone else.
And what is so sad is that I think Peyton was trying to talk herself into believing she was back in Tree Hill just for herself. But Lucas’ comment opened up old wounds and feelings not just for her but for Lucas. And after his “scene” with Peyton where she tells him what he said wasn’t fair to her or Lindsy, that was the first time we saw him run to his “man faced” security blanket.
I believe he was lying in bed thinking of Peyton and HAD to call Lindsey to hide from his feelings for Peyton.

Actually, I think it would be interesting to see Nanny Carrie once more… Haley could haul off and hit her, like when Haley slapped Rachel in 4.14. I love when the characters fight like that. It’s just awesome
As far as the Vegas thing goes, it could go either way… Peyton or BRooke. I know it isn’t Lindsey, because Mark said he didn’t know how she would be back. Obviously, he would have to know to write 6.02…
From the Promo after 5.17, I was 95% sure it was Brooke, but that “Marry me” thing threw me off. I can’t wait until September first…

last but not least, please bring some more passion once again. It’s funny because I was in High school and I remembered that back then life was easy, and dreams and passions were nurtured, between friends, and family, teachers and loved ones. We lived fearless, and I think having that continuoty in season 5 would have made the show less realistic because people have bills to pay, and some have not accomplished all that they needed to accomplish but this show made me realize my passion for basketball again and got me practicing on the court 3 hours a day! and it brought out an artistic side of me that I never thought I had. It leaves me thinking. so plesae bring that also. Love interests shouldn’t be the higlight of it. and PLEASE Peyton has been through so much in season 1 she was the angry depressed cheerleader who was tortured and misunderstood, then she found Lucas, but was scared and aprehensive towards a committment, season 2 she was lonely and succumbed to loneliness and drugs and more heartache, season 3 she was victimized to violence, a gun shot, and again loneliness, and season 4 she FINALLY HAD her time to shine and true happiness and Lucas did too it was so magical. and now again, she is suffering and is being viewed as desperate, vunerable, needy, and pathetic. So Mark, make her an independent fierce, generous, sweet, and genuinely happy girl again who can find meaning in her own self, art, and work. Lucas was a jerk in season 5 anyway, and I think that it is HIS loss not hers, so please let Peyton Sawyer and Brooke Davis see that as well. I mean if Lucas can be nice again and realize peyton is meant for him that will be number one, otherwise just make Peyton happy and content. She deserves it! and I want to see Nathan connect with his classmates and childhood friends more in season 6

You need to write an hour of television that can make us laugh and cry for all the right reasons and that can change the way we view the world. I remember watching episodes from past seasons and after the episode was over I sat in a mesmerized state. I felt inspired! Shows like OTH have brought me to the conclusion that I too want to be a screenwriter. I want to write movies or TV series’ that have a universal magic that everyone can connect with.

I think it is peyton just because mark says it goes back 2 how the person is . In season 5 brooke witnessed how in love peyton was with lucas . Brooke wouldn’t do that 2 peyton at least the new brooke wouldn’t . I love brucas but I don’t think its happining anytime soon and leyton is a safer bet . Barely no1 likes linsday and lucas together so I doubt it but then again u never no wats goin 2 happen .

why thanks for all the wonderful comments and applauses. I was just overly exhausted of reading all the comments that had such high valued opinions, yet had nothing to back it up. OTH overpowers entertainment in my heart, eyes, and mind, and that is why I admire Mark’s genius and view him as a goddess. He is able to incorporate a majority of different issues, and themes in one series like no other. The characters all come to life and we witness each one test themselves and evolve to new beings. That is what is beautiful. and I think season 5 defeated all that for a greater purpose that we will just have to wait in suspense for. I don’t expect for all seasons to be amazing, but I have high hopes for season 6 simply because season 5 left us all so distraught and confused.
Lindsay is obviously just a scape goat for Lucas, throughout the whole season Lucas has to find himself reassuring his love for her and comforting her and their relationship simply revolved around his work, and writing. Lindsay fell in love with Lucas the writer, not L-U-C-A-S. even though she tells him that she will love him regardless if he is a “small time basketball coach”, it didn’t seem genuine. I believe they loved eachother as people, but realistically it was not enough. Lucas could not vent to her like he could with Peyton. And isn’t love being able to determine one’s faults and heartache and pain without words? Peyton does that. As does Nathan with Haley. The only time I ever saw Lucas committed in a relationship was with Peyton to be honest. He did not need anyone because he found everything in Peyton, which is same with Nathan when he met Haley. He became completely independent when he met Haley, and that was his solace.
I write all this so that people can (i say this in respects to everyone’s opinions I swear!!!!!) SEE PAST the physical attractions and fun and on screen chemistry of other couples such as Brucas. You have to understand that the writers tried to write this as if it is a real life series, and love is not always fun. Maybe now Brooke is more qualified for Lucas, because they both evolved and matured and perhaps want the same things in life, but I genuinely believe that Peyton wants all of that too, but losing everything meaning Lucas, she appeared to be less stable. but then again her financial means, made her that way. I think Peyton secretly wants marriage, and a child and all of that. and the fact that Lucas is able to have such a strong friendship with Brooke at the end means that they are friends. The fact that seeing Peyton bothers Lucas means she still gets to him.

Lucas and Peyton did the friends thing before they went all the way and I mean all the way. There is something deep there, a connection that transcends the physical. It is a quiet comfort. When they are together there isn’t any jealous or triangles or longing for someone else. They proved they long for each other during a long distance relationship.

Peyton’s dream was to make LA her town. She found it ate her from the inside out, making her someone she was never meant to be. She realized her nightmare of staying in Tree Hill became her dream and she longed to return to friends and family and marry her dream of owning her own record label with her desire to come home. After achieving that dream she realized it paled in comparison to her real dream - a chance to right mistakes to get her second chance with Lucas. Will season six bring her dream to fruition or will it become a nightmare.
Lucas had two of his dreams come true - a published novel and coaching the Tree Hill Ravens. But like Peyton he learned that one dream fulfilled only reveals the underlying dream. His dream of Peyton loving him, loving the scared boy who felt he wasn’t good enough. That the golden haired girl he dreamed of from afar would come into his arms and say she LOVED HIM. He got his wish, in the end Peyton declared her love for him and that her dream was now his dream - to marry him. For them to share their lives together in Tree Hill.
Is it too late to go back to that hotel room in LA? Yeah, it is too late for that, but it isn’t too late to amend the dream and make it fit who they are now.

Don’t take that comment about Lindsey being in X number of episodes. As I have said before, they can’t just come out and say Lindsey isn’t coming back or she is only going to be in one episode. It would ruin their whole “cliffhanger” moment from the previous season.
However, who Lucas called is and will be the worst kept secret this summer just like who Henry “Mutt” Williams really was in the new Indiana Jones movie. LOL

Ok…it has to be Brooke!
They’re relationship has built up SO much recently, especially with the whole Angie storyline, you could just see it, even Lucas admitted that it fitted! But also because of that storyline, Brooke was way to emotional for Lucas to suddenly do his whole “I wanna be with you” thing!!
It won’t be Lindsay…it just…won’t, absolutley no way! If it is…I’ll egg my TV!!!
There’s no way he called Payton, other than the fact that she won’t just fly to Vegas to get married on a whim, it would meant theres no drama!! The happy ending would start at the beginning of the season! On the other hand, if its Brooke, then people will be upset, like Peyton and Brooke’s “mother”.
Conclusion:
It has to be Brooke.

Sorry, everyone has an opinion but it isn’t Brooke. It can’t start out that way.
The Brooke and Peyton friendship was the heart of the show in season five. It grew from their reconciliation in season four and blossomed into each other being their rock for each other in season five.
Love or hate Brooke, think she has grown or not, but I can assure you after she has been the biggest Lucas and Peyton supporter and after holding Peyton while her heart was breaking after Lucas proposed to Lindsey, there is no way she runs off to Vegas with Lucas to get married. How many times did she say this isn’t high school anymore in season five?
Anyone else but Peyton and as I have said, it cuts the throat of the show. Every inuendo, every foreshadowing moment, every underlying meaning of the show in season five led straight to Lucas and Peyton getting back together.
At the beginning of season five everyone was praising Lindsey. Hell, Haley thought she was better then sliced bread and both of Peyton’s close friends ditched her to be with Lindsey to go to the game with Lindsey in the ep where they were stuck in the library.
But, after Haley reads Lucas’ book and the big reveal at the non-wedding everyone changed their minds. Well, except Skills because he was all about LP from the start.
Haley rallied around Peyton. Hell, Lindsey “I can’t seem to stay away” came to Jamie’s birthday party but there wasn’t even any interaction between her and Haley and they were supposed to be such good friends.
And in the end, Haley broke the friendship code to show Peyton her and Lucas’ summer predicitions - in which Lucas’ was full of his love and longing for Peyton.
And Brooke made comment after comment about Lucas and Peyton and their love. She asked Lucas if he still loved Peyton, she told Peyton said had been the Lindsey between Lucas and Peyton and it wasn’t pretty, she made cute comments like when Lucas saw Peyton in her PJs and said “oh, you two.” That is not someone who loves this guy romanticaly, that is someone who loves two friends dearly and can see the love all over their face for each other. And knows soon they will see it too.
It is Peyton. It has to start with Peyton in season six. As I have said it may get ugly later on, this is a drama after all, but if he doesn’t call Peyton season five was a total waste and it ruins the integrity of the show. And it also makes Lucas look like more of an ass then he already is.

So I was watching the rerun of 5×04 last night. And after all we have seen at the end of season five, I was shocked how comfortable Lucas and Peyton were together at that point.
Peyton even asks, as they prepare to go to the C/B opening, if they can do this. Lucas replies yes they dated and had a history but they were friends first. And you could see a moment of relief in Peyton’s eyes.
I think in Peyton’s heart of hearts she was really trying to prove to herself she came back to Tree Hill for her. But then that ideal was shattered with six little words by Lucas “He’s not good enough for you.” Lucas tells her about the bartender she is flirting with.
Her glass house came crumbling down around her after that and I think his did as well when she confronted him in front of C/B. “You can’t say things like that to me, Lucas. It’s not fair to me and it’s not fair to Lindsey.”
I think Peyton was trying very hard to be Lindsey’s friend. She loved Lucas, she valued his friendship and if he loved this woman then she was going to try and like her too. But then he begins to blatenly pursue Peyton in a subtle manner. And when they have the big blow up and she confesses to buying his book every time she sees it and she finally shows REAL emotion instead of quiet understanding, I think the damn breaks. She says she still loves him and kisses him and HE KISSES HER BACK.
It is the beginning of the end of any notion of a friendship between them. The love, the want, the loning is still there. She remembers how he caressed her, he remembers how her skin felt against his, and there is no way if love is still a factor you can bury that so deep that it doesn’t bubble over at some point.
So, you can’t have a turn around and have Lucas call someone else, “coose someone else” to start season six becuase the emotions are too raw the passion to great for the two of them to EVER be sedate around each other and have it not be romantic.

Hi, normally just lurk, but am soooo impressed by Denise’s insight had to comment. i agree with everything you say…… but you say it really well too, you make a lot of sense. I do think it will be Peyton ( and really really hope it is am a big Leyton fan). It really does seem the only option that makes sense at this point, otherwise surely it would be the end of any leyton relationsip ( even any friendship) after everything she did and said at the end of season 5. And ( as has already been said several times) I think the whole of season 5 would be quite pointless with respect to Leyton. I do believe if it is Peyton there must still be a lot of problems ahead for Leyton! However, excited I am it might be her I am not stupid enough to believe it will all be hearts and flowers after that!!!

So, I am working on a new story. And I was hoping you guys could take a look at the first of it and let me know what you think:
Brooke Davis was glad to be home. Running a multi-million dollar corporation from the small town of Tree Hill, N.C. was tough. She still was the face of Clothes over Bros and had to make appearances. So, a few times a month she would jump on a plane and head to the corporate headquarters in New York or off to Milan or Paris.
But, in the end, the endless frequent flyer miles was worth it as she got to return home every time. Because, even if her jet-setting friends couldn’t believe it, Tree Hill was home to her, the place she could just be Brooke. It was where she lived with her best friend Peyton Sawyer and got to see her godson Jamie almost every day.
So, when people asked her if it was good to be Brooke Davis, she didn’t think about the clothing designer they were alluding to. When they asked, she thought about the Brooke Davis that was walking through her front door in Tree Hill and happy to be home.
Her entrance into her home was welcomed with a thump of her toe on a bag beside the door. It was a small black duffle and she immediately knew who the owner was, with the initials P.S. on the tag.
“Peyton,” Brooke called out to her. “Where are you,” she asked her best friend. Brooke maneuvered around the bag as she lugged her large suitcase through the door.
“Brooke, you’re home,” her friend said. Brooke noticed it wasn’t the comment of a friend glad to see you home a day early. “I thought you weren’t coming back until tomorrow?”
“Obviously,” she nudged her chin toward Peyton’s duffle bag. “Going somewhere?”
“Oh, that,” Peyton waved it off. “I got a line on a couple of new bands and I am headed out for a few days.”
“You couldn’t wait a few days?” Brooke had a feeling she knew why Peyton was trying to get out of town. She felt for her friend but wondered when she was going to get past this – get past him.
“It is a hot new band,” Peyton told her. “Everyone says they will be the next “it” thing.” Peyton put her hands up and did the air quote with her fingers.
“And you just happen to have to go out of town now,” Brooke continued to push. “Convenient.”
“It’s not convenient,” Peyton informed her. She went over to the door and picked up her duffle bag. “It’s business. Just like you went out of town for business.”
Peyton went to the door and put her hand on the door knob to close it behind her.
“The difference is, I am not using my business to run away,” Brooke told her.
“That’s because you don’t have to,” Peyton said in a solemn tone. “I’ll call you later.” Peyton added.
“Be careful, P. Sawyer.” Brooke said as Peyton went out the door. “Love ya,” she added to let Peyton know she cared about her no matter what.
“You too,” Brooke heard Peyton say just seconds before the old black Mercury Comet roared to live and sped away.
“Running away again,” Brooke said mostly to herself.

Okay, here is the other part. Just trying to see if I am painting myself into a corner or if I can get out of it.
Just then her cell phone began ringing. She looked down at the caller ID and saw it was her assistant Millicent.
“What ya’ got for me, Millie,” Brooke asked her crack assistant. She was sure she couldn’t have stayed in Tree Hill if it wasn’t for Millie staying with her.
“Brooke, I am so glad I got a hold of you,” Millie said in a frantic tone. “Please tell me you remember that House Design is coming this afternoon to do a piece on you and your house.”
“What?” Brooke squeaked. “You are kidding? That is today?”
“I take it that is a no,” Millie sighed. “I will be over in 15 minutes.” Millie paused. “Uh, about Peyton’s room. Did she at least make the bed?”
“Uh oh, not sure.” Brooke began walking toward Peyton’s room with the phone still pressed firmly to her ear. She opened the cracked door all the way to reveal what could only be described as a disaster area. The bed was unmade, there were demo CDs everywhere, not to mention clothes. Yeah, Peyton had this business trip planned, that is why it looked like she just threw clothes in a bag.
“That would be a no,” she told Millie. “Better make it 10 minutes.”
Brooke ventured into the room and decided quickly she would let Millie tackle this. What did she pay her for if not? She walked past the bed and into Peyton’s bathroom. Well, the girl could leave a bedroom like a cyclone hit it, but kept a meticulous bathroom. What was wrong with that picture?
She checked under the sink and everything looked in order and then peered to her right to look in the waste basket. There were a couple of items in there but it wasn’t overflowing. Brooke was about to turn away when something caught her eye. It was barely visible under an empty bottle of shampoo, but it was there. She carefully put her hand in the waste basket and pulled out the white wand, and noticed the two pink lines.
It didn’t take the fictional detective Veronica Mars to figure out what it meant – Peyton Sawyer was pregnant. And Brooke could think of only one person who could be the father, the same man who had Peyton Sawyer going out of town so quickly – the man who married Lindsey Strauss almost three months ago and was coming home today with his blushing bride after a pre-book release tour.
“This should be interesting,” Brooke said to herself as she turned and left the bathroom.
Brooke survived the Design House interview, thanks to Millie. She tried to call Peyton all day but every call went to voice mail. Brooke would worry, but she knew it was typical Peyton.
What Brooke worried about was how she was going to get through today. Less then 24 hours after finding the little white stick with the two pink lines in Peyton’s bathroom she was expected to go to Nathan and Haley’s and act like nothing was wrong. She was supposed to hug Lucas and then hug Lindsey and pretend like one of her best friends wasn’t making the worst mistake of his life. Oh, and she was supposed to keep quiet about the secret she wasn’t even supposed to know about. Being a best friend sucked some times.

here is my thoughts… Do you think its possible to be in love with 2 people at once… I do….(*stole that from the show) anyways… lucas was crushing on a girl name peyton sawyer.. they effected eachother life with their art and music and novels… Boy then meets bestfriend and sees a girl that puts on an act for everyone else except said bestfriend…he falls for the girl behind the mask…. but is still effected by the girl who touched him with he art and music.. enter torn between 2 women… in the end he hurts both… realises he is truly deeply in love with the one girl…. teaches her how to love back…. but in the process losses one of the most important people in his life in a great tradgdy….. well he goes to a dark place making the girl he loves feel like hes pulling away.. but If you have never been in that dark place where lucas was then you dont know what its like in there trust me I HAVE BEEN THERE…. okay anyways looses that one… well she is hurt and upset and doesnt understand where why…. so she retreats to HERSELF and blames again the other girl… so Lucas tries to figure crap out while the other girl figures out what to do while after the loosing the bestfirend… they turn togther both with a connection that made them friends in the first place… (ENTER LEYTON) though in the end….. Lucas is still an idiot and never realised what he had in front of him when he had them… he will be forever in love with the 2 women who took his heart BOTH FOR DIFFERENT REASONS but in the end both took his heart and his love……

daniel thanks for the advice… but I dont think i need it nor do i think you have the right to tell me what or who I should believe in….Brucas Did love each other in a great and deep way….. why is it so wrong to believe its still there and that both just havent realised it or are hiding from it….

Thanks that does help although i must say.. still seems weird after all the history him and brooke have and i just dont get why they would both hurt brooke so much… dont get me wrong as u know i love peyton and leyton just seems weird there ever had to be a leyton at all.. but its drama right

that is true and in the real world im sure it happens just we all live in OTH land… and you never know…. You cant help who you love you are not suppose to… its just a same that 2 best friends love the same guy who happens to love them both back in return…. WELCOME TO ONE TREE HILL… population= DRAMA

good point. lets just hope that they can resolve the leyton brucas issue with the least amount of damage to the breyton friendship… thats worth more then a guy.. even luke

to be honest, I want peyton to be endgame. If this is the last season of One Tree Hill History I REALLLLLY WANT IT TO PEYTON AS END GAME! I can walk away happy. This show deserves a sensible, and happy ending. THEN AND ONLY THEN will Peyton and Lucas be an epic love story. because from season 1 to season 6 they finally end up together at last. I just believe they should be end game. so if mark wants to linger on the hostility towards Lucas and Peyton only for them to marry permanently and be end game that will be amazing. I reallly really really really really really really really really really want Leyton to be endgame. Peyton deserves it. and Like I said, Brooke ( I love and adore her for her generous heart and loyalty towards her bestfriend) can be happier with someone else. I really genuinely think so. So Brucas fans, just take that into consideration.

but I think that Peyton deserves better then lucas as well and she deserves to have someone who will love her and not be torn……But I think Brooke and Lucas deserve there happy ending together as well….. and I cant wait to see it play out…. .I love OTH

I’m just throwing this out there right now. Mark Schwann said that they created a world where Lucas and Peyton were meant to be together. Chad said that the Brucas relationship was something that was fun and took Lucas outside of himself.. but then you have to go right back to who Lucas really is (with Peyton). They’ve been meant to be since the beginning. The creator knows it, the stars know it, the CHARACTERS know it! Brooke’s been supporting and actually kind of PUSHING an LP reunion, Lucas wrote a freaking BOOK, no make that TWO BOOKS, about Peyton, Haley called Lucas and told him he can’t marry Lindsey because he’s still in love with Peyton, and Peyton obviously knows it, seeing how she’s still in love with him. I don’t know what more proof there is, but when the woman you’re about to marry realizes that she STILL can’t compete with his first love, (Peyton), WHILE she’s on the altar, then you know that it’s true.
JUST THROWING IT OUT THERE!
(And besides, I ADORE the Brucas friendship right now, why would we want to ruin that? They haven’t been a couple since high school!)

but I understand the throwing out that out there.. but Mark also said that before the jump and so did chad.. both Lucas and Brooke have grown and become different ppl….. Im just saying There is still something there I dont know why its so hard for everyone else to see it

exactly. I just adore the Brucas friendship, she is very supportive, and is there for him, I’d hate to see that ruin, Brooke deserves someone better who is not conflicted. I think that Lucas will always be conflicted if he does not give it another go with Peyton. Because technically he resorted to lindsey when he thought that Peyton did not bother to show up at the Book Signing in LA. When she told him that, that seriously changed Lucas’s world upside down because all these years apart he tried to tell himself that he did all he could and that she was to blame for giving up on them but when she tells him that he realizes that it was partially his fault and that she did bother to come. thats when you see Lucas very conflicted. because he realized that they infact did have a potential to work out. I think that is when he falls vulnerable again and does not want to feel like that get hurt again so he rushes things with Lindsey to make him believe he is over Peyton once and for all. I don’t know. im HONEST EXHAUSTED WITH THINKING ABOUT IT or justifying my reasons for leyton TO BE END GAME but whatever happens, I just hope the main characters remain close knit, and united, I hope that brooke and peyton still keep that strong sisterhood and friendship, I hope that Peyton finds true love and happiness whoever it may be and that she is happy and sweet laid back understanding, and real Peyton again, I’m tired of her suffering she deserves to be liberated. and her fate not to constantly be debated, and I just want people to realize that Lucas is not the perfect individual i think Peyton and Brooke
