Awww I like that spoiler!! I don’t mind if Leyton doesn’t get married in Vegas as long as it’s their choice and they stay together. And of course as long as we do get a Leyton wedding this year!!!

I am wondering if they don’t decide to go somewhere quaint and in the country.
From recent spoilers, we heard that they were looking for a house in the country (maybe they go to some local justice of the peace). We also know they are in a rental car and Peyton was in the white dress.
Either way, I think it will all work out.
Sounds like Mark is trying to throw everyone off and keep us guessing.

ideally if they don’t marry in Vegas i’d love them to be engaged then have a wedding on the grass on River Road where they first spoke…all there loved ones there, Larry to walk Peyton down the aisle and the bride and bridsemaids can arrive in The Comet!

If they tried to do that after everything with Peyton and calling him Peyton to go to Vegas (so essentially being engaged- when she says yes)
it would make Brooke seem really dumb.

I agree. Brooke has been there done that. I am starting to be okay with LP not marrying in Vegas. It just bothers me that by them choosing to wait, TPTB still get to pander to other fan bases and give them hope. Even though Lucas and Peyton have made a clear choice to let go of all their fears and hurt and be together.

I have been saying all along that I didn’t want them to get married in Vegas. It’s not so much about it not being romantic, cause I think it can be. But Lucas and Peyton have been through a lot and there friends and family have been there to support them through all of that, and I have always believed that they wouldn’t want to get married without those people(Brooke, Haley, Nathan, and Skills in particular) by their sides. I mean Naley already did the elopement thing. Other than their 2nd wedding, no one else has actually gotten married in Tree Hill. Lindsay/Lucas and Jules/Keith both had runaway brides. It is about time this town actually had a romantic wedding that ended with a marriage. I mean really, Brooke would beat Peyton and Lucas’s a** if they got married without her.

I think that might have been part of the dream sequence stuff.
What do I think is going to happen with LP? Well, I hope if they leave Vegas without getting married it is because they decided they wanted to do it right - with friends and family there. I don’t want them coming back saying they aren’t sure about each other. I want them to come back ENGAGED because Peyton said YES and a committed couple and I want them to deal with any drama or tragedies together.
I do know that it wouldn’t be Peyton saying she didn’t want to marry in Vegas. She can’t show any negative feelings to Lucas right now because the boy is so gun-shy.

I mean come on theyre Leyton. No matter what they should end up together. Love isnt easy and there are rough patches but in the end; love is always there. And it should let then be together.

hmm i think not getin married in vegas is a good choice that way they can have more romantic moments between them not that they cant if they do get married but being a leyton fan id rather have more build up to it maybe have lucas repropose to peyton after his bballteam whens state kinda like a remake of 4-9 but that might not work so well seeing how that could be seen as being a bit repatitve leyton=tla im not sure exactly what sweeps is either but i think its basicaly a big time for tv were every show puts out some big episodes that something major usually happens if its in nov thats usually before they go on heitaus during xmas like they usually do heres what i think might happen leyton doesnt get married in vegas but are together and either are at least engaged or they both want to see how the relationship goes first to see if it can actually work after everything thats happend so they go back to tree hill to either work on the relationship and have alot of romantic scenes and about midseason get married the show goes on break then comes back and the last episodes of the series or season i hope theres a next season are about there marrage life and the final episode can be about peyton maybe having a baby or something like that

Here’s the scoop on sweeps week
At various times throughout the year, Nielsen Media Research, the company which records viewing figures for television programs, sends out diaries to sample homes in the various markets around the country, for the residents to record the shows they watched.
These diaries are then “swept” up, and the results analysed to produce viewing figures for the various programs and channels. These are important, because it’s based on these that the networks set their advertising rates. The more people watch a show, the more they can charge for the commercials during it.

And so, during these times, networks deliberately bring out new episodes, series and specials, in an effort to boost their viewing figures, and hence ad revenue. It’s the sweeps periods - usually a month, not a week, though each home taking part in the survey only keeps a diary for a week - which determines what shows (and network executives!) live or die.

I am so with you Denise. Come back from Vegas with a solid relationship at least!! And that’s funny but true about Lucas being gun-shy. I also totally agree that Brooke would be beat somebody if she wasn’t Maid of Honor.
Oh and sweeps last 1-2 weeks and they are where the networks put their best storylines in order to get the most viewers. They also n the past have made or broken shows. Networks will decide to pull a show midseason or order more episodes/season based on these numbers among other factors. Sweeps take place in November and in May. Does that clear it up?

I would just feel better that they did get married in vegas so we dont have to go through the drama through the whole season 6 and then get married at the end of the season in front of their friends and family like nathan and haley did! But whatever happens they will be together at the end that’s all that matters

It looks like they are throwing all these SL in (Dan kidnapping, Q death, Brooke issues and the Sam stuff) to mask that LP are going to be together. Maybe they will finally have the center of attention taken off of them. We will get our happy LP and other people will actually have something to do instead of be a vehicle for LP. I can live with that as long as LP are together and get their screen time.

No matter that mega minute spoiler, I know its LP. He probablyh just didn’t think all the spoilers would get out so he is trying to trick us. Plus he said dream scenes, we already know thats the case. And the Watch with Kristen spoiler–she saw the finished script and was pleased with it.
Brooke has a diff. storyline already that has been confirmed with the sam stuff and the episode one getting mugged in clothes over bros, and if it was ONLY epi 1 filmed last week where would that leave her trip for Vegas? Or the Lucas story line. Unless the entire episode is about her but I can’t imagine it being that way.
I don’t want Quinten to die, thats so sad.

oh and if the reason is because Vegas isn’t romantic enough–okay.
I’m sure that’ll be the drama necessary for the episodes, no love triangles. Just figuring out how to have the perfect LP wedding or something along those lines

Amy..from what you looked up…(lol) or anyone that can answer, I have a question.
I see that Curlyhead said its very possible we may see them married in a sweeps episode. Regardless of the ratings, does that mean the episode will happen anyways because its already filmed? Or does it mean like…if they don’t like it enough they’ll change it.
What i’m getting from it is that it’s just a promotion gig, that it’ll happen anyways–and that because it is such a big event it could do some definite advertising?

Brittney I would assume that it’ll happen anyways but it could help the CW make money on advertising since it’s a big deal.
I always thought that the couple wearing wedding rings was the Skills/Brooke dream. Or it could be Mouth and Millicent. They were cute and they could get married. OMG how funny would it be if LP went to Vegas and ran into MM there and MM had gotten married already. Or something along those lines.

Lindsay left Lucas at the altar. Lucas proposed to Peyton first and she said no (well not really, but you know)–anyways, after Lindsay leaves him at the altar, Lucas gets upset and pines after Lindsay a while until he realizes who he has loved ALWAYS right from the beginning.–oh and pending the first episode, proposes to her a second time, in which she says yes.
Jules left Keith at the altar. Keith proposed to Karen first and she said no.– Ater Jules leaves him at the altar, Keith tries running from his problems and everyone. Then he proposes to Karen a second time, the person he has loved right from the beginning. She says yes. Unfortunately they didn’t get their happily ever after…
but I truly believe that Lucas and Peyton will,and that maybe they can learn from the mistakes of the ones they love.
I know that both Lucas and Peyton have had love for other people, and that there was realness to both Lucas and Lindsay and Lucas and Brooke…just as there was to Peyton and Jake way back when. But they were in high school, and of course drama was necessary to keep the show going. I believe they are truly in love, and they were destined from the first episode…

I dunno, i think the wedding rings spoiler is the one of Sophia and Chad er…Brooke and Lucas in that dream sequence that has already been confirmed. The whole not Naley thing. Then again it could be Lucas and Peyton or maybe even one of the other currently dating couples, but I feel like that would make sense for that spoiler.
And the couple thinking about marriage (in actuality)–Peyton and Lucas. Maybe Skillz and Deb or even Mouth and Millicent.

I’m glad to hear they don’t get married. And I like the reason as well. I love that it seems to me a contrast to 505– Lucas is willing to wait, and Peyton is willing to make the commitment.
I also like the idea of drama stemming from Quentin’s death and maybe Peyton’s father, instead of stupid love triangles.

It’s so sad that Lucas will have to deal with the death of someone he cared out in the end as a player…they seemed to get along so well. And of course Peytons dad. I think their drama will be much more practical or real than another love triangle because they’re all older and more mature

Oh and LP is sooo Whitey and Camilla. In season 4 when Lucas dropped Brooke off and they both admitted they didn’t have the kind of love that Whitey was talking about Lucas went straight to Peyton and she told him she was in love with him.

Dan stirs the pot he has to come back. He’s also what ties Lucas and Nathan together. And I LOVED it when he told Jamie that he was his best friend. And even if you hate Dan you have to admit when he went after Carrie to save Jamie you were a little bit glad that he’s such a bad guy.

Wow, I like when I’m away for awhile and I get back with plenty of spoilers to mull over! I’m ok with a non-wedding Vegas trip, but I want them to be engaged so that they WILL get married. I wonder what kind of drama they are going to have this year. Like if Lucas has finally made his decision and his love life is not an issue, what is he going to pout about? LOL JK I love Luke but seeing him women drama free will be an intersting change of pace.

I think Lucas will mull over the Dan situation. Then there’s his coaching position let’s not forget he’s still in hot water with that. If Quentin dies there will be that (but hopefully Q doesn’t die). If LP are together then he will help Peyton with the guy who knew Ellie. See there are lots of possiblities for Lucas without woman drama. Oh and he’d better not try to give Peyton her, I mean Lindsey’s ring (even though it was originally intended for Peyton). That ring has to be cursed or something.

Yes supposedly Q dies. There’s a side for 6.03 that has Haley talking to her class about it. So sad! But Tiffany you bring up a good point. TPTB can bring back Ethan, the doctor, for Brooke. That way everybody has somebody and there was some chemistry there.

I’m a total brucas fan but if they were going to be together, I’m sure someone would come between them like peyton(nothing against peyton or leyton fans). I think I just really just wanna see brooke with someone who’s going 2 be commited to her and last a long time! lol

My season 6 wish is going to be that Brooke, Lucas and Peyton find themselves in committed happy realtionships! I think we all can agree that we want out favorite characters to be happy.

I’d like to see Lucas and Peyton happy together! For longer than season 4 thank you very much!
I think that Lucas will pick someone right at the beginning of the season and that will be his final choice…no matter who it is, I really mean that. Because I think even the writers could be sick of the love triangle, so no matter who Lucas picks…maybe the drama becomes them trying to figure it outmarried, or engaged…or with a child or something.
Like, grown up drama…not stuff frmo high school!

lol did you guys have a nice Brucasfan holiday or did you miss me.. lol Im excited they dont get married and I dont think that will.. Im pretty sure that in the end Brooke and Lucas will be back together.. word around that I have heard is that Peyton/brooke/haley are the ones to take Sam in not one of the girls but all of them. and that means No leyton moving in together which is fine cause Lucas is comming back from vegas for Brooke and if not for her when he finds out he will be there for her no matter what… and i wouldnt put it pass him to stay with her in the nights and what not so she isnt alone… which will stir up lucas feelings and make him realise she is the one for him …..

I read somewhere that Nathan and Haley end up not together or something like that cuz carrie ruins their marriage. is that true???? I love naley.
and im really upset that Peyton and Lucas are not end game. I heard that brooke and lucas will be together in the end……..
but atleast peyton and lucas get together period. i wonder what happens between them though
