I love it because Peyton is hard and complicated and jaded and challenging and difficult and frustrating because most of it is all an act to hide what a HUGE heart she has. And when Peyton gives you her heart it is for the long haul.

She did that with Lucas in season four. After careful consideration she knew it was time. That was the problem with their relationship. Peyton handed him her heart on a silver platter, forgoing all fears and taking all the risk. I think even at the end of season four Lucas never gave his whole self to Peyton.

He couldn’t believe she could love him and only him. So, when she said “someday” it was his “out” in a way to guard his heart and keep himself from future pain.

When Peyton came back the unconditional love she had for Lucas was unveiled from the guarded place she kept it. Yet, Lucas continued to keep his full self locked up.

I think it finally took Peyton laying her full self out there for Lucas, with her words on the rivercourt, and her telling him it was her dream to say yest to his proposal to snap him out of the daze he had been in since his first proposal. It was then, I think, he finally had the courage to put himself out there like Peyton did in season four when she told him she loved him.

Please, it is game set and match now baby. They structured season five for these moments in season six. It is all about facing fears right? They all faced their fears in the finale. Well, Lucas’ fear was giving his whole heart to Peyton for safe-keeping.

And when she shows up at that airport, bag in hand, showing him that she has loved him all this time and her love has never wavered, that boy has his heart gift-wrapped for her.

Yeah, he proposed to Lindsey, yeah, he said “I do” but his heart wasn’t in it. Look at Lucas, he was going through the motions most of season five.

He won’t be going through the motions in season six. His dream will come true when he Peyton says “yes” to his proposal and promises to link her life with his FOREVER!!

This is for the long haul people, there might be some pandering, some bones and a few bumps in the LP road, but this is the fourth quarter and LP have the ball on the five yard line and they are going to score for the win.

haha! i like that denise! it does make me nervous that it says how peyton talkes about how happy SHE is… i hope this doesnt waiver his decision. he’s so flakey! im just super nervous that after the first part of season 6 LP will start to fade and lucas will throw his insecurities into brooke.. its all about the forshadowing

okay. a girl on facebook just gave me her two cents and i thought she made a really good point.. she said that it was kinda fishy to her how in the premiere peyton always seems over eager. like at the airport she cuts lucas off when he says “i know i know i just…” and then she kisses him. and then in the hotel room before he can even say anything she says “yes yes!”. she said it’s almost like lucas has something to say but cant really get it out or off his chest, and peyton’s the one who is doing mostly all the talking. she also said she thinks its weird how they’ve been kinda putting the lp relationship off for so long, and that brucas is definitely supposed to get closer in the next season… whether their friendship grows, or blossoms into a relationship we dont know…. ughhhh!!

The reason he probably didnt call Brooke is because he doesnt really have a chance yet, her Bestfriend peyton isnt over him and he knows brooke wouldnt do that to Peyton. Or he really does love peyton. We’ll see. But until the end I’m routing for BRUCASSSS!!!

ALSO some people say if he wanted brooke why didnt he call her. IF he loves peyton why did he propose and say I do to Lindsey. Lucas doesnt know what he wants, so clearly until the final episode ever i think thats when we will see who he REALLY LOVES and will stick with. Lol

I just can’t imagine how Lucas would end up with anyone but Peyton in the end. His true love,IMO, has always been for Peyton. Especially if this is the last season, I can’t imagine him starting out with his immense love for Peyton but in 22 episodes be with Brooke at the end. But hey, I know a lot can happen in Tree Hill, I just can’t fathom it.

This is what i think,I tink that the only reason that lucas and brooke had gotten together in the first place was because they were together in real life,i thnk if they hadent gotten together the original triangle would have happened(Lucas,Nathen,Peyton)thats why they were together…I dont think brooke and lucas will be back together at all in season 6,they will have a really good friendship and that’s all and i may be wrong but that’s what i think and i also think it would be to weird for them to get together again after what they went through in real life and sophia even said that it would not happen..So i guess we will c

Yeah, I think there’s a reason that Peyton is doing most of the talking in these early episodes. Sometimes it’s what Lucas is not saying that is more important than what he is saying or doing. Brucas all the way.

Gina … I think you’re may be wrong as well . Chad and Sophia had nothing to do with Brucas in season 1 and I can still see Brucas getting back together after Lucas realizing he and Peyton are not “meant to be”

Well like i said those are my thoughts,i dont think it will happen.I dont think their going to set everything up from season 5 to have then get back together in season 6 and screw with another triangle..I think that if it was gonna happen it would have happened the beginning of season 5 when peyton said someday to lucas after he went and seen brooke,that would have made more sense.I dont think lucas is gonna be with peyton because he has no choice but because he loves her….

first off i am a leyton fan but that doesnt mean i hate brucas. i just dont see how brucas can happen again the entire time brooke and luke been together she always worried about if he still loved peyton and after he asks peyton to marry him i highly doubt that would changed her mind and just stop worrying about his feelings for peyton and i dont blame her since she knows the truth. so i think they will be close friends. and sometimes luke doesnt know what he wants but it always goes back to peyton and does any body here remember TLA= tru love always that wasnt for brucas that was for leyton. and i think it would be a HUGE mistake if they put brucas together again. and if they do get back together then why is owen coming back ?? and if anything about luke and brooke is that she starts to develop feelings for luke but luke doesnt for brooke. LEYTON 4 EVA and i would honestly stop watching if that happens and i may speak for a lot of leyton fans.

i totally agree with you on that gina. i think it would be only to please the brucas fans which would suck to ruin some of the characters credibility for a fan base. but i dont agree with you on the fact that he would have gotten with brooke after the peyton proposal. i think it would be at the beginning of season 6 because the finale was about following your heart, and clearly its not. he called peyton.

What i was talking about is if they were going to do a triangle i beleive it would have happened the beginning of season 5 after he seen brooke in new york..not in season 6 at all…I dont believe that the trianle thing is going to happen at all.

It just doesent make sense that they would go through all the drama in season 5 to set up the proposal to peyton and for them to turn around and take that away in season 6 with a triangle,that does not make any sense at ALL…..it has been about lucas and peyton from the beginning and i beleive it will end with them,dont get me wrong their will be bumps in the road along the way but i don think it will have ANYTHING to do with brooke..

that was on a BP thread! i think it’s just another overzealous brucaser. and besides brooke already denied lucas after they broke up in high school. because she knew they (they being LP) were in love, and always would be, and she didn’t feel that way about him…gina is right, the original triangle would have come back into play when that happened.

I could be wrong, but I believe Lucas loves Peyton…I also believe that if Lucas were to think that he wanted Brooke, Brooke would not be with him…the young, immature Brooke maybe, but the older more mature Brooke who loves her best friend would not do that to Peyton…it’s just not something you do…maybe “high school, teenage” friends, but not “in the real world, adult” friends…Brooke even made that comment to Lucas the night in NYC when he was drunk and kissed her…Brooke knows that Leyton are suppsoed to be together…it’s just understood that you don’t go after your best buds guy!!!

I just wanted to point something out, even though this has probably been pointed out before. Peyton has NO ONE to turn to for a soulmate after Lucas. Its been made pretty clear, she CANNOT go on with her life without him. Hes not just a guy she once had a fling with that shes still good friends with.. (Brooke..cough) Luke is her one and only. No one will ever be able to complete her like he completed her.

Did Mark (creator) set up someone for Peyton to be with OTHER than Lucas in S6? No. Did he for Brooke? Yes. She has either Chase (love him) or Owen (bleh). Can Brooke go on without Luke? Yes. She is the one who let him go because she just “stopped missing him”. Evidence right there, she does not need him in her life.

Thats right….I understand that the brucas fans are pulling at straws right now i probably would be to…all the spoilers are pointing to leyton right now.i am not a brucas hater either,i liked the show just as much when they were togehter(brucas)as i do now,but the reality of it is that i beleive that lucas and peyton will be together till the end,the dream that she had at the church with her and lucas getting married,they are going back to the hotel were he asked her to marry him,all these things are her dreams and i think they will all come true by the end of season 6. i dont think that they would have been showing all of these things in season 5 to have it all just thrown away with another triangle…. i just dont see it happening….

I hate to disappoint you Leyton=true love but the spoiler have been confirmed by some credible sources. Brooke supported Peyton to get back with Lucas, but she supported Lucas as well to get back with Lindsey … she’s just being a good friend as always. Nothing wring about that

hey guys, so i’m back off my holidays and ready to blog. i’m just watching season 4 at the moment for like the 50th time and i just watched the episode where peyton gets the internship with sire records and on her yearbook lucas writes “remember no matter what happens I will always love you”. he also says it to her vocally in the episode. now this to me seems to point to season 5. lucas is with lindsey and peyton’s back and we see they still have strong feelings for each other. with everything that happens in season 5 we see he will always love her no matter what happens, then he calls her and asks her to get married. no matter what troubles lie ahead he will always love her and it will always come back to the two of them being together

Peyton will realize she liked the her relationship with Lucas is not what she taught it would be and that she and Lucas changed while she was in LA and Lucas probably will realize Brooke means much more than a friend to him

You know the difference between Brooke and Peyton? Brooke is not a good , but a great friend so she can hide her feelings AND keep them with her . I just don’t understand , why if Brucas was over Mark showed us this scene where Victoria freaks out about the fake marriage thing or why did he put her in last 15 sec of the finale ?

Well if you look at the pilot and the fact that Lucas and Peyton are “meant to be” your logical choice would go to Leyton , but if you look deeper you might discover Brucas as well

I am all up for triangles thats fine…..ok let me explain it this way….after lucas proposed to peyton and she said someday,he went and saw brooke and they kissed in new york,i believe that if their was going to be a triangle with brooke and peyton and lucas, i think it would have happened in season 5 not 6,but they dident do it that way they added lindsey instead.To me it does not make sense for them to do anonther triangle in season 6 especialy with brooke,peyton and lucas were is the knowledge?

well … I think that as long as the shows exist the writers will use the triangle story-line cause the whole show is based on it (from the beginning till the end)

I just don’t know how Mark will handle the last triangle … he can bring a LOT of drama in it or do it quietly

i don’t understand how anyone can like peyton, she is the one of the most selfish characters ive ever witnessed. she only cares about herself and is only happy when she is with a guy which is really pathetic. she screwed up her and brooke’s friendship over a guy…twice, knowing that brooke and lucas loved each other AND she tried to steal lucas again when he was with lindsey knowing they were happy together as well. peyton should have been the one to get ran over by the car. GO BRUCAS! plus what do peyton and lucas even have in common? all they talk about our peytons problems and how she is always sobbing over someone who has left or died, she really needs to grow up and move on with her life…also peyton and lucas look like brother and sister when they kiss. gross

i agree that they could easily bring the triangle back, but i would rather that they didn’t. i hope that lucas either stays with peyton for the rest of the season, or that they don’t last very long in the season and he finds someone else, maybe brooke to be with because lucas is just getting annoying by changing his mind all the time about who he loves

Brooke never loved ANYONE the way she did lucas. Peyton had Jake once upon a time. But who else was Brooke in love with? And the episode when Haley asks peyton are you in love with lucas or the idea of lucas she thinks a little a both. Maybe they are in love with the idea of eachother because everyone around them thinks thats the way its suppose to be. It can end with either Brucas or Leyton. I just hope in the end everyones happy because all the characters rock! What will make me happy is BRUCASSSSS!!! lol

i know a lot of people didn’t like nanny carrie, but i thought it brought some good drama to the show, it was better than the triangle all over again! now lindsay on the other hand was just annoying lol but i think the show can do better than just resorting back to the triangle, i mean they’ve got dan! he’s enough to start some really good drama! he always keeps me entertained

It’s just a showw.
I think the only reason why you brucas fans like them so much was bc they were together in real life.
Peyton and Lucas will be the end game weather you like it or not!
I mean I do like brucas but there relationship was just “sex”.
&& who did lucas keep going back too….Peyton
Brooke will always be the rebound!
So will lindsey!(the book signing!)

They put Lucas and Peyton and their relationship balls to the walls in season five. Two options remain for these two, they admit their love for each other and stay together forever or they walk away now and never see each other again. LUCAS AND PEYTON CAN NEVER AGAIN BE JUST FRIENDS.

i think brooke is such a more interesting character when she isn’t with lucas, i just started to really like her character this season(5) because she was so independant and confident with herself. i hope the darkness thing doesn’t change her too much, and i really hope that she doesn’t rely on lucas (she should rely on peyton)to get her through it because then enters another triangle….

Nothing wrong with a hobby. LOL Some people go to Nascar Races, some people spend their summer visiting the great baseball parks in America, some people collect any maanner of objects or aspire to take trips to see the worlds largest ball of wax.

We are all geeks about something and I think it is awesome we are geeks about One Tree Hill. I am also a geek about Farscape and travel to Atlanta every year to go to DragonCon where 50,000 plus people gather to celebrate their geekdom.

The internet is beautiful place, it allows people with common interests to gather and enjoy what they love together.

Second, Denise I finished season 3 of Veronica Mars and am pissed at how it ended! No closure or anything. I went looking on disk 6 to see if there was another ep. Christ, what a disappointment to end like that. If OTH ever pulled a stunt like that I would hunt Mark down and duct tape him naked to a flag pole

hey guyss… i am a leyton fan but seriously brucas everytime they happened brooke always worried what luke was feeling about peyton . and i dont think that will happen since she already knows on how he feels about her and her about him and now he asked peyton to marry her not brooke and lets say he wants to get brooke umm she knows that he loves peyton since he asks her to marry him and she knows that he will always love peyton more then brooke. I do just love reading Brucas fans that are bashing Peyton because of their insecurities of Brucas never being together again. Only the quiet one’s strike back like that. . this site makes waiting for s6 a lot more tolerable. heated debate about who’s going for the gold. etc. honestly in the end i hope the show ends with Leyton, Naley(of course), and Brace (funny name). Which currently seems like a very probable outcome. thank the lord.

btw i think the whole camilla situation applies much more to Naley than to Leyton or Brucas, just on the account of stupid triangles and drama.

and i leave everyone tonight with this…even though it jumps right to where leyton are totally together (in hs) to apart. and it was only like one summer to us. but in oth (where the space time continum can be altered) it’s after lucas and peyton were in a VERY serious relationship for almost 2 years. that kind of love is so easily buried in tv land (in reality it is done frequently) and after like 2 months (which is less time than the normal in an oth season) if your relationship completely dies because a girl you haven’t seen in years probably means you’re still meant to be together.

ok, so i am a HUGE lp, but i always try and accept or acknowledge the other perspective incase my perspective does not workout, but honestly, right now, i cannot grasp how brucas fans think brucas is gonna happen again.

it would ruin what all the characters in tree hill stand for to bring back the triangle. end of story. im not saying that mark wont do it, but it would definitely make for a rally disappointing possible ending to this series. besides i feel like a ton of other shows do the same thing (meaning end it with a twist. ex. joey and pacey) i would hope that they end it right. the way it was intended to end, and for once let the soul mates end up with each other

well, dream as in the leyton part. i wouldn’t be thrilled to see brucas have any sort of closure after a reopening, because that means drama, but it would give room for a s7.

in leyton fantasy land the show would go for a few more season (1-3) no more triangles and nothing but bliss with the occational drama…just to keep things out of the ordinary like they are in TH.

I’m so sick of the triangle already. Mark better know what he’s doing because if he’s going to mess with either fanbases (Brucas and Leyton)…he’s going to lose a lot of fans in the process–including me. I thought the Brucas fire died out a long time ago–Brooke even implied it in a couple episodes, including the wedding episode. If she’s lying and keeping her feelings bottled up inside, then she’s pretty stupid for putting up a front by saying things like “Peyton…you’re the one.” Blahblahblah…then she’s just going to play the victim when Leyton comes back from Vegas–or something to that effect. She should at least have the balls to tell Peyton the truth…like Peyton did in season 3. Peyton at least never said any words of encouragement: No “Go Brooke, you’re definitely the one for him!” Ahhh…I fear that Mark is just bringing it all back to ring in some more fans or because he’s just out of ideas…which, in turn, makes the whole matter unrealistic and just frustrating.

Right now, I think Lucas is a complete mess and an ass. He can’t even see the wrongs he’s dealt Peyton. She’s always being trampled on…and it sucks so bad! Mark is so mean to her, it’s ridiculous. It’s amazing how she hasn’t committed suicide yet! Lucas needs to get schooled this season, honestly.

Blah. If Brucas gets another chance to live…I really don’t think I’ll have the strength to continue watching, haha. I really mean no offense to Brucas fans (my brother and cousin are diehard ones)…it’s just not going to make anymore sense in my head! Sorry for the vent post! The spoilers were just very frustrating to read.

Mark never gives us Leyton fans enough to keep us going. We can never soak it in! Maybe that’s why there aren’t as many of us, haha.

Well In my opinion Brooke will always have feelings for Lucas I won,t deny it EVER but that doesn’t mean that those feelings are LOVE. I think in season 5 Brooke wanted a kid NO thats what she wanted and I think she wanted love too when she had Angie and Lucas was helping her with Angie I think in her eyes what was missing was a LOVE. Even if Brooke is an indepedant woman she will always needs a guy in her life she’s Brooke Davis DUh… she need a guy and she realize in s5 that it’s not a baby that will make her forget all the pain she had with man she knows she can’t do this alone I don,t know if I make myself that clear because my english is not so bad I speak french and it’s the emotional daycare educator in me that is speaking cause I saw lots of mom who were alone and found it hard to deal ith kids on there own and even if they want to make you beleive they can do it alone a father/husband figures is needed for a kids/mom.

Peyton she lost her mom at 8 and her dad is not around You can see it had affect her a lot and when they have important choices to make she always goes to her mother grave for support and answer.

I could have talk about Lucas, brooke too but I had prefer Peyton exemple anyways …

Brooke had parents but they didn,t really cared about her just sending money etc … When she saw Lucas with Angie she knew there was something missing and it’s a father and a husband for her and Angie. Even if she doesn,t want to admit it cause Owen just left and she’s disapointed and sad again she saw Chase coming back again in her life and left again. She wants to look independant but Brooke in my book is still lost but she’s not in love with Lucas she looks at him the way she dream of a family but Brooke clearly know Lucas is not the guy for her anymore.

AN other thing

Lucas is NOT lost he knows who he loves it’s obvious if you watch s1 pilot to s5 what comes after blue ! it’s Peyton and always will be there is no other way one tree hill can end.
Lucas knows who he loves but he is a scared boy scared of his feelings for the girl he love and scared of what can happen scared of a lot of things and thats why he had hide is feelings for Peyton for so long. He was clearly in love with Peyton s1 but when she walks away from him in the bedroom after he tells her how he feels he had start hidding his heart and his feelings. When peyton came to his house tellling him she wants all the same that he wants but Brooke was there he knew he couldn,t get hurt because he wasn,t in love with her so he settle for brooke easier ( the hidding feelings part)
again in s1 when Peyton told him Nate and him had switch places he realize he wasn,t good enough for her … lol
in s2 he make Jake came back cause he thought that is what Peyton wanted because after she and Brooke had burn the letter he had wrote he realize he had probably lost is chances (I’M tired of wrotting) anyway (hidding part again) etc .. etc… etc.. till season 4×08 and then poof Seaon 4 some you give away realize he have to stop hidding is heart just like peyton did the episode before. also s5 when she said someday him was too sure she would say yes right away without thinking about it … he hide is heart and came back to tree hill and then poof rebounds lindsay came bla bla bla … they got together the night she aparently didn,t came to the book signing ( hiding part again) after that she came back in tree hill and poof Mr Lucas Scoot doesn,t want to give her a hug cause he can’t touh her too hard ( hidding part) i’M seeing someonelse hidding part proposal and kiss back and etc … could go on all night … the book and Lp took place a long time ago … yeah because you are hidding your heart like a scary little 3 years old kids atmy daycare who just did something wrong but doesn,t wan’t to get grounded ! so okay I got carried away sorry ! I was saying that he just hide all his feelings for so many years because he had always been afraid of his feelings for her but somewhere you can see that he had always been in love with her girl ( peyton ) it’s when he wrote he worte 2 books about his love for Peyton exscuse me but you can’t make LUcas wrote 2 books about Peyton and his love for her and not make them end up together in the end. doesn,t make sense if he ends up with Brooke he will have to take back all of his book and change the name peyton for Brooke and in his dedicace he will wrote again : PS : sorry I mispell !

I’M sorry but Brucas are really good friend and will stay that way. i’m not afraid of an other triangle won,t happen again for sure and anyway when Peyton is with Lucas she’s not jealous she knows she can trust Lucas and vice versa can’t say the same about Brooke because she knows Lucas willl always love Peyton more than her and she doesn,t want ot be the lindsay between lp anymore and I understand her it’s not a great place to be … being in the way of true love always.

i dont think the triangle will mean anything because brooke has grown up and even if she is looking for a man she is totally supporting lucas and peyton because she is telling her to go for it and to chase after him and she knew lucas loved peyton and everything. plus brooke doesnt want another fight because her and peyton are closer than ever now.

I know peyton and Lucas may not ever happen again. But I wish Brooke and Lucas never get back together. I personaly dislike brooke on this show sometimes, shes a whore. Some feel bad because peyton was a bad friend to brooke while brooke and lucas were dating, but it takes two, its peytons fault just as much as lucas’. Other then that brookes turned out to be okay at the end of the fifth season.

Gina there was parts of the triangle in season 5 just it wasnt as up front and in your face as it usually is because Mark made the brooke side in the back ground and in details… I know this is going to make some of you jump to the defence but I mean nothing but it except that it was there just in the background….. I dont put the triangle off as not comming back cause well its always been there…. so in the end what happends and who lucas is with is in the hands of mark and he likes to suprise us every episode….. AND I KEEP SAYING ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE…. just saying Leyton fans need to be prepared for brucasness and brucas fans need to prepare for leytonness that is all im saying

I’ll say this and hope I disrespect no one…my intentions are not to do so. I am very pro Leyton, and I respect fans of Brucas…but it’s not going to happen.

Mark puts subtle hints out there to keep people happy, I mean come on, Brucas had a huge fan base…and even if they wont happen there has to be hints here and there that it could just to keep the fans happy.

Who cares if they said I love you in the dream? He could have said it to the others as well…keep in mind, its just a spoiler…and nothing is confirmed until we ACTUALLY SEE the episodes. Though that could be somewhat of what happens, chances are some things are a little off.

Until you show me a copied page of the script…i won’t believe every exchanged word.

Peyton and Lucas have been destined to be together. I thought Brucas was sort of a way to create drama in the series…and I think it was kept because of the relationship the two actors had going on in their personal lives.

and maybe Brucas had some real scnes,
but he always chose Peyton no matter what. Two times he went behind Brooke’s back. If it didn’t mean anything (the second time, the shooting) he would have probably told Brooke about it…and wouldnt have kept it so secret. He has always loved her….he hasn’t always loved Brooke.

Brooke also does deserve someone that loves her and not someone that will always love her best friend. When Peyton and Lucas are together, I feel NO hints of him loving Brooke at all…but when the tables are turned, I feel like hints have been there that he has loved Peyton the entire series and then some.

Leyton, destiny, endgame.

Brucas? Well, I think Brooke deserves to find true love always as well. But Lucas isn’t her TLA…he never could be, never will be.

I love the character of Brooke but you have to admit she deserves someone to love her whole heartedly as well…someone to want to write a book about her or something…

not someone that clearly wants to and has done that for someone else.

You know, I just watched the proposal scene in the movie Walk the Line. They are on stage and Johnny Cash tells June “You’re my best friend. Marry me.” They didn’t say it, but you could also hear “It’s time.”

It was a simple scene, but so full of emotion, because they had fought being together for so long. Hmm, sounds familiar.

I want that for LP. Something simple and truthful.

haha i so disagree about that..i’m sorry well about naley i defentley agree. But when it comes to brucas..i don’t deny that they had chemistry but for me their relatinship was all about fun and flirting etc. Leyton has alwas felt deeper to me, thay had chemistry plus all theese serious things and i don’t even know where to begin. And when brucas where together brooke where never really shure if lucas loved her because of Peyton. Lucas and peyton had there problems and love is not always perfect but lucas and brookes issues aways seemed to be about Peyton. As for jeyton, NOT happening! first of all that was back in season 3 and it ended when Peyton sad “I love you lucas” in her sleep. She realized she still loved him. And Peyton has’nt even mentioned Jake since well..a long long time ago. And i don’t know when it was but i know there was an interview with Bryan Greenberg who plays Jake, posted on this site once and he sad he wasn’t comming back in that interview. He sad it was a fun period working on oth but it was a closed chapter of his life and he wanted to do other things. Besides if they would bring him back,that would just seem really weird and out of the blue and especially after season 5 with peyton declaring her love for lucas. I’m not saying that brucas can’t happen, maby later but for now..their realatinship has just been growing to a beautiful friendship and nothing more

I have a question from 5×12 as I am working on my lastes podcast. They show everyone’s heart’s desire or dream as the ep starts.

Peyton dreaming that today was her wedding day with Lucas. Brooke that she had made all these wedding dresses and someday she could wear one of her own designs to get married in. Nathan that he could just patch things up with Haley.

And there is Lucas driving with Haley and Jamie to pick his mom up. He isn’t daydreaming or thinking about his wedding day with Lindsey. He is looking to the past, to one of his past best days with his mom and Uncle Keith. He is supposed to be looking toward the future, but he keeps looking back.

Anyone find that weird?

i think that brooke and luke will stay FRIENDS. i doubt that there will be and romantic scenes with brucas. i am pro leyton but that doesnt mean i hate brucas . i just dont see brucas happening enough. both time brucas broke up was because of peyton. when luke broke up with brooke was to be with peyton when brooke broke up with lucas it was because of peyton * he kissed peyton* i dont think brooke will be stupid enough to go down that path again. she knows that he will always love peyton and trust me that wont change once she find out that they got engaged. and if he loved brooke so much then why didnt he pick her and peyton.. i really hope mark sees what this blog is going on about maybe this season he will make most of the fans happy. i didnt like season 5 at all pretty much . it made everyone seem like an ass. but i dont see brucas happening again since brooke has been encouraging leyton through season 4-5

I think that the reason Lucas was looking back is because his future/wedding with Lindsey really wasn’t his hearts true desire. All that he wants is what he had in the past…his mom to be home, Keith to be alive…and in terms of weddings, I believe he really wants Peyton. Though at the time he consciously wants Lindsey, I think his subconscious has always known that isn’t truly what he wants.

i have read that the guy who plays jake has said that he will not be coming back to the show and that he has closed that chapter of his life even though it was a great experience. I think it will be rachel (cause we know for sure she’ll be back), chris keller (to help hayley with some of her music or maybe duet??), and chase (because they definitely left the door open for him to return, “call me if you need a husband..”). it could also be mouth since he is apparently leaving in the frist episode, he could come back to help brooke, he always looks out for her.
i dont feel like bevin or tim played a significant enough role in brooke’s life to actually return to tree hill just for her.

BTW, I was watching the 5×12 ep for my podcast and I noticed something. Peyton is one of the last guests to enter the church. She goes past the others sitting on the pew and goes to sit by Brooke. The whole time, while he is supposed to be getting ready to marry Lindsey, Lucas is waiting in the wings watching Peyton walk in and sit down.

Can you imagine what Lucas felt when he first started talking to Peyton. And when she actually started talking back to him and not being so mean. He must have felt like he won the lottery.

The think is, Lucas rushed into everything. He had Peyton’s attention and then he wanted it all. Just like the “someday” proposal. He had Peyton and he wanted to rusn and have it all. That is the one and only real glaring difference in them. Lucas is impeteous, while Peyton is cautious.

ok, so this isnt really relevant but i thought i would post this here. I just re-watched season 2 and u know the episode where peyton leaves school and lucas comes to her house and asks if she is alright and if she misses jake and then peyton tells him that isn’t his place because he has drifted from her. Then, luke goes to anna’s house and breaks up with her cause he tells her that he needs to reconnect with a girl from his past.
was i the only one at this point who thought that lucas was going to see peyton??
and not to mention when jake comes in the camera angle starts from the bottom up and he and lucas are wearing the same jeans, and same shirt just different colors. i believe that is called for-shadowing. letting us know that jeyton was going to happen, but not to give up on leyton.

I know thats ok Leyton=TLA we all have our opinions,we are all anxious waiting for september,to see what happens.Although all these spoilers are good news for leytoners,but we have to still wait and see because you never what can happen.

i am i brucas fan but i honestly dont think they will end up together..because to be realisic chad and sophia had a relationship together and for them to always have these love scenes would probably be hard for them..a kiss here or there i guess wouldnt matter..but anything more would be difficult for them.

i dont know lets hope they end up together..i always thought that the reason they broke up in the show was because they broke up in real life..because lucas went from saying he cared about peyton but he was in love with brooke and he kept telling everyone brooke was the one for him..then literally waking up and declaring his love for peyton i found that odd

I think that Chad and Sophia´s real break up wasn´t a reason why they weren´t together in the show.The reason is because lucas loves Peyton and they are meant to be since the episode 1!!
