It’s been confirmed that The Narrows is to be shown at Toronto International Film Festival:

Seventeen new titles have been released for the upcoming Toronto International Film Festival for 2008. This brings the total films announced to 55 titles, with this round adding excitement to the following programs: 2 Masters and 11 Contemporary World Cinema titles (see announcement) along with 2 Galas and 7 Special Presentations (see announcement). It is thrilling to see that Wong Kar Wai’s Ashes of Time Redux is included in the list along with numerous heavy hitters such as Guy Ritchie with RocknRolla, Ari Folman with Waltz with Bashir and Kiyoshi Kurosawa with Tokyo Sonata which won Un Certain Regard Jury Prize winner at Cannes 2008.
