It is soooo Leyton all the way. I have so much fate in them and in the writer’s of the show. The show was written to create a perfect world where Lucas and Peyton can be together. And it will happen it is happening now! I don’t see any Brucas in the Gus conversation! Go LEYTON!!!!!!!!!

I know that over at FF some sources are incredibly reliable? I know curlyhead is usually spot in, is Corey–the person that submitted the Gus quote–generally accurate with his info? From what I remember he is lol.
It must be Peyton. I hear of no BL scenes ya know? She’s got this whole other thing going on, Lindsay is gone, and weve seen Lucas and Peyton together in pictures on several occasions looking very couplish.

There is no BL what so ever in that Gus Quote. He was basically telling Lucas if he thought he had to ever make a choice or if it was a choice. He’s wrong. Because it was never a choice. Peyton was always there the one. He didn’t pick when he was in the dream because there was no choice to make. Peyton was always going to it. It was written in the stars, It was Destiny from Day One when they met each other on the Street and she almost ran him over. Fate just brings them back together.
So there’s no BL just because it was used in S3 doesn’t mean it’s about them. Lucas also used in his Book to Peyton.
What Gus is saying is “Hello stupid, you never had to make a choice, it was always there”. Fate already written it from Day ONE! LOL!!

okay Kelly you have great point I think the conversation between Lucas and Gus if foreshadowing and it will make Lucas debate and think about things afterwards.. he will be caught up in the moment and back in TH things will start to hit him making lucas re think thing cause Brucas to be back

and i dont necessarily think he said that there was no choice, and talked about fate because it was ALWAYS supposed to be peyton (even though it was…). i think he said that because it wasn’t lucas’s choice it was both of theirs (hence the “she showed up”) it is fate that they both love each other so much… no one chooses that, it just happens…fate. leyton.

Ok so I just read the latest spoilers and Dan is sooo gonna kill carrie and if he don’t haley will….and I think in my mind that leyton are not endgame,sure they are going to get together,because its expected,their going to get engaged,but they are going to realize they are not the same people they were in highschool….things change people change I mean there are still the questions what has peyton been doing for the past three years? and is Brooke really over Lucas? Brooke is not over Lucas like I said before to me it seems like shes hiding her true feelings,she thinks she done right by letting Lucas go…but in her heart she loves him…I think something is gonna happen to make Lucas question if he made the right choice with Peyton…and question his love for Brooke…don’t hate me Leyton fans these are just my thoughts and opinions…who knows maybe leyton will get married and live happily ever after….but untill the final episode airs and the credits go up anything can happen…and may the best couple win right…

Whether Lucas and Peyton have chemistry is a matter of opinion and it is in the eye of the beholder. You don’t think they have chemistry. Others, many others, do. I think all the characters have some kind of chemistry together, including ‘Brucas’ who have had their fair share of cute scenes.
Lucas has NEVER chosen Brooke over Peyton. I am not even going to comment on that. I know you are a ‘Brucas’ fan, I admit that ‘Brucas’ ARE cute, but…even as a BLer how can you watch all five seasons, especially season 5 with Peyton pouring her heart out on the Rivercourt, and say that Peyton is merely rebound? I hope you can at least see a small shred of love there, the same love I saw between Brooke and Lucas.
Anything can happen in season 6. Maybe ‘Leyton’ WILL be ‘endgame’. Maybe they won’t. Maybe something happens between Lucas and Brooke. Maybe it won’t. Endgame is not determined right now, it is completely up to Mark. I hope for ‘Leyton’, and if this is the last season, I have HIGH hopes for them… but I am not completely confident. I can’t be. Let’s just watch season 6 and see what happens. *shrugs*

These are my thoughts on the whole Brooke having feelings for Lucas all this time, Charlene, what do you think?
Has there been any sign that Brooke still loved Lucas in that way, or vice versa? It’s an honest question. If she has those feelings, I feel for Brooke because I remember how hard it was for Peyton (in season 3) to keep it all in. Or do you think that the is love going to grow between them in the middle of season 6? I just hope the triangle doesn’t come back. My heart can’t take it.
Because if Brooke DOES feel that way, or has for some time, I’d rather her be honest like Peyton was in season 3 (even if she did get a slap in the face) then to encourage Peyton to go ‘for for her man’ and marry him finally, saying that they ‘belong together’ only for her to marry him herself or for them to end up together. She should not have said that. (!)
My priority right now it Peyton. I don’t see how this would not completely and UTTERLY CRUSH her soul…knowing that she told Lucas that in her dreams ‘every single time she says yes’ and that she dreams of marrying Lucas, only for Lucas to end up with… Brooke? My heart is going to sink for Peyton if this happens. It will really, truly sink for her.
If Brooke and Lucas are endgame and do end up together, the only way I would be okay with it is if Peyton is okay with it too. I just want her to be finally happy. Somehow she moves on and is supportive. I also hope the ‘Breyton’ friendship doesn’t suffer. That would suck more than anything else. If Mark can pull this off, then I’ll be fine. I am more of a ‘Peyton’ fan than I am a ‘Leyton’ fan anyway. *sighs*
We’ll see what happens, right? Like you said, may the best couple win!

Hey peytonothfan when Brooke said she would of given it all up for lucas in the flashback episode,made me believe she still has feelings for lucas and again thats just how I feel.I mean just because I’m a brucas fan does’nt mean I don’t see leyton love because yeah its there no doubt,I just want brucas together,just like leyotn fans want leyton together.Brucas has love and leyotn has love and its like I said may the best couple win.And why would brooke be part of the triangle or reatangle whatever you want to call it,because if brucas was over she should’nt be part of it right and she is.So I don’t know if that answers your question but we all have our own opinions right,and I love being able to voice mine.So don`t hate me guys.

Thanks for letting me know about that flashback scene. I need to watch season 5 again. I completely respect that you acknowledge the ‘Leyton’ relationship, that’s good. Some people cannot acknowledge it at all. Brooke and Lucas are a very good looking couple and they really did (and do) have chemistry. That kiss at the end of season 2, with that music playing in the background…wow! That was pretty moving.
If the triangle does come back, that’s drama for sure. It will be interesting and difficult to watch. Like I said, my heart may not take it well. I’ll be rooting for Leyton, though.
*sighs* They should just legalize polygamy and be done with it! Have Lucas, Brooke, and Peyton ride off into the sunset!

brooke might have feeelings for Lucas but they aren’t strong enough for her not to date hook up or whatever she wants i’M sorry but when you are truly in love with someone and you never got over that person then why owen, Chase, Ethan. IF I remember correctly .. peyton didn,t dated anyone because she’S in love with Lucas and when you truly love someone you know where your heart is at and you can’t date. I see a big different between peyton love for lucas and brooke love for lucas. so now some people will say duh .. lucas do the same thing… um…. NO Lucas have always been in love with Peyton E. sawyer and always will and he said that every instinct of the contrairy as always been a denial of the following truth I was now and will always be in love with peyton sawyer.“Brooke is not in love with Lucas. He had broked her heart twice and choose her bestfriend over her WTH! When she told her mom he might be the only guy she had GIVEN IT ALL UP FOR. in my book it seems like. UNLike Brooke who knows Leyton are meant to be and she’s over him in my book there scene in 5×18 I think the I love you is just them having an understanding they have forgiven each other for everything and moved on and can be great friend and I loved it … I love Brucas friendship just like MY Hot pathan firendship and I’m really looking forwardd Brucas and Pathan friendship next season I hope will get plenty of them.

In regards to all the Leyton love that’s coming up — I could care less about them and I will be fast forwarding through their scenes.
As for Brooke being “over” Lucas, I don’t think so…she chose to end it with Lucas because she knew he loved Peyton(I know he loved Brooke too) more than her.(BTW, I hated writing that..lol)
I also feel that Lucas shows no romantic interest in Brooke because she has not given him any sign that she still has feelings for him….but if Brooke decides that she wants Lucas in her life as more than a friend…then the Game will be on.
If there is ever a Brucas reunion, I want Lucas to get it started again like he did at the end of season 2. I want him to remember the times he had with his Pretty Girl and pursue her endlessly until she gives in to him.
If Leyton are endgame, I will never be happy with it.
I just don’t have love for the couple, I don’t mean to offend their ship but I’ve tried to see what all the hoopla with them is and I get nothing.
I guess like some people say…I’ll have to wait until the final scene runs but in the meantime, I’ll keep my fast forward button handy.

I have to say it again…
If Brooke wasn’t over Lucas in that way, then she really shouldn’t have encouraged Peyton like that. It’s one thing to be encouraging as a friend, trying to hide or push back her feelings for the sake of her friendship with Peyton (or some reason like that) but to actually persuade Peyton to marry Lucas and then go on about how they are meant to be… so much so that she actually compared herself to Lindsay is a little too much and she may have gone too far there.
I know a lot of BLers were upset that she even said that.
I’m not saying that Brooke doesn’t have any feelings. Who knows what will happen? Anything can happen in ‘One Tree Hill’ universe. I’m saying that she shouldn’t have encouraged Peyton like that. She practically pushed Peyton into Lucas’ arms. She should have just said ‘follow your heart’ and left it at that.

okay… seriously!!! how come if a couple has the same hair color they automatically look like brother and sister?!???? i mean ive heard that lucas and peyton look like brother and sister and chad and kenzie look like brother and sister, and well, hilarie and kenzie look absolutely nothing alike? this is getting out of hand. none of these people are related and besides their hair color i dont see any similarity…
i dont mind brucas but the signs point to leyton right now. i think having lucas change his mind anymore would realllllly make his character look bad. he is the main character and lucas was already portrayed last season as not knowing what he wants (between lindsey and peyton). nothing is impossible but i seriously doubt that they will have the MAIN CHARACTER be the most unstable wishy-washy person on the show, which is what he would look like if he changed his mind ANYMORE (be it brooke lindsey or some bar slut)…

I canceled my season 5 dvd because I couldn’t bear to watch Peyton whining over Lucas again.
In regards to Brooke pushing Leyton together…I see it this way…..She can offer all the advice to Peyton and Lucas about how they should be together, compare herself to Lindsey and blah blah blah…BUT saying things and doing them are two different things. Brooke offered those words because she knew that Lucas was pining after Lindsey and Leyton were not getting together at any moment BUT now that it seems they are getting together, that may be a hard pill to swallow.
It’s that feeling you get when you know you’re ex has someone new and you hear about it…BUT to actually see them together…that’s heartbreaking and maddening.
PS. I’m pretty sure that Peyton felt the same way when she offered Brooke advice about Lucas in seasons 2 and 3 but since she was pining after Jake/Jenny, she didn’t think about it much.
I know that this is a tv show but speaking from personal experience, I would never be friends with someone who’s going with out my ex and much less who came between us and I would not be wishing them well either…LOL

Peyton and Lucas were only a couple for like a year.
The longest relationship that Lucas had was with Lindsey.
Brooke broke up with Lucas at the beginning of season 4 and then he dated Peyton for the rest of season 4 and then off-screen we are to assume they had a long distance relationship that ended within the year…and they were apart for 3 years until she returned to Tree Hill.
Brooke and Peyton were gone from Tree Hill right after the party because they said they were leaving the next day. Jamie was a newborn and when they came back he was like 4 1/2 years old and they got to meet him.
As for the destiny comment that Gus made…it maybe taken anyway by either ship.
This is how I see it…paper holds anything you put on it and how it’s written and how it’s acted out are two different things.

I think Broke and Lucas were cute but they never had the connection Luke and Peyton have. Peyton doesn’t go sleep around with other guys while in love with one guy. She waits for him faithfully and truely just wants him to be happy over her happiness. She let him go so he could be happy. That is true love. Anyone that has watched the preview from Monday saw how happy Lukes face was. He truely loves Petyon more than anyone else. He has never smiled that happy with any other girl. Brooke and Luke never loved each other that way. brooke just was in it for status. That is all I have right now but just so you know I like Brooke but just not with Luke.

I can’t believe all the hate here against Leyton. I will NEVER fast forward any episode of the OTH. I don’t care if Brucas is together I will watch it. If Brucas end up together in the end I will watch it and be happy for them. I think it would be a huge mistake if Mark put them together in the end but I will watch it and I will still love the show!!!!
Shame on all of you who won’t watch Peyton scenes or Leyton. They are a huge part of OTH. They are the reason the show was written to begin with. Brooke wansn’t even in the pilot. So don’t hate the two characters who began it all!!!!! Respect everyone’s “ships” and opinions.

I do respect other people’s ships and opinion about Leyton, I just make note of what I do and don’t like.
I don’t have to be ashamed of my ship and/or opinions and just because I don’t like Leyton together — it doesn’t make me a bad person.
In regards to the pilot….Brooke wasn’t in it because OTH was supposed to be a movie but then it became a show.
I guess they had to modify things for the show.
I think the premise of the show was about two teenaged boys who happened to share the same father and a love of basketball.

I didn’t mean to get hostle–sorry! I understand the not liking a certain couple together…I was just shocked that you actually fast forward through their scenes. I am a huge Leyton fan but I still will sit down and watch s2,3. I actually think that Brucas is very cute together and I think that they definity have chemistry. I just like Leyton more! Maybe you should watch Leyton together-just a little-maybe you wouldn’t dislike them so much.
The reason I made the comment about the “prefect world” for Peyton and Lucas is b/c I actually read that somewhere a long time ago. That Mark’s goal was to create a “Perfect world” where Peyton and Lucas can be together. Maybe where I saw that was bogus. I don’t know. But it sounds poetic enought to actually come out of Mark’s mouth that is why I believe it. The basketball/same father thing obviously true but Peyton was a huge part of that from the beginning.
Anyway- no hard feelings. It is just cool that we can come on here and talk!!

Like I said. What Gus is doing is making fun of Lucas. Mocking him. Saying “You idiot, it was never a choice to make” Fate written it along time ago. But if you want to believe that you had a choice to make in the first well go ahead and think that. LOL! It was Peyton always, she was never a choice. Fate always brought them back together. The ‘choice’ nonsense is just, they want you to believe it was one, but there wasn’t really one. He picked w/ his heart because it was taken along time ago. I don’t know if Brucas will ever get back together…but since this is a tv show, I will not lose any sleep over it.
I just watch the show for entertainment and yes I do have my favorites but that’s it.
Real life and “Reel” life are not the same thing.
If only our lives were like a tv show and we would do and say what was written for us….that would make the world a much better place.

I think this is pro Brucas because Lucas was never able to explain his love for Brooke, he just knew it was there. And I think Gus is telling Lucas that he’s stupid for thinking he gets to make a choice. I think Lucas wants to be with Peyton because he feels like that is who he should be with, but really, he is just denying what was there all along…Brooke. She just needs to fight for him this time.
Don’t hate me! I just think there is more to than quote than meets the eye.

Brooke really love Lucas in s1,3 and 3. But if I remember it well she’s the one who told Lucas she didn’t miss him anymore in s4. Well if you’re in not with someone you miss him when he’s not around. Plus she knew that they never shared the love Whitey and Camilla shared. That’s why she told Lucas to finally go with Peyton because she was over him… In s4 she seemes really happy with Chase and seemed to be in love with her and she did nothing that can lead me to assume she was in love with Lucas in s4… Then s5 came… She tried to have a relationship with Owen and she tried hard because she was interested in him. She would never have done that if she was in love with Lucas. And do I have to say that she came back in TH to help Peyton to win Lucas back? Because she knew that their love will never disappear… And she told Peyton it’s always have been Lucas and Peyton, that she was in Lindsay’s shoes once … So I guess she knows that Lucas and her are over and that they could never be happy together. Moreover I can’t see love in her eyes when she stares at him, just friendship. They have a great friendship and that’s the way it should be..

so i read most of these posts and it seems like there’s some mad hatin going here…both sides are equally as passionate about their couple and i don’t think that anyone should judge, put down, or dismiss anything that someone else says because let’s face it none of us are actual writer’s on the show so really we have absolutely no clue as to who will end up with who for good…so i think everyone should respect what everyone else has to say
and i’m verrrrrrrry curious as to what Lucas says/thinks in the first episode (i think the spoiler said it was the first) about Brooke that will stick with him. Exciting!!!

I’ll never forget that Lucas said “I’m the guy for you Brooke Davis”. And I’m sure he was honest. He thought they had to be together AT THAT TIME. But it was in s3 when they still had feelings for each other. Plus I don’t think she dumped him. It was mutual. They both realized they hadn’t what Whitey and Camilla shared. And that they’ll never have that kind of love. I think it was good Brooke came to congrat Lucas first. Because as much as I love LP and think that this time they had to have Brooke’s approbation to be together. I’m sure Lucas was afraid to hurt her again and I think that’s why he told Peyton she was the one… When she asked him “So who do you want next to you” he didn’t hesitate for a second. He immediately looked at Peyton… Lucas loved Brooke but their weren’t the love of each other’s life. Of course I do not intend to bash. I respect BLers. It’s my opinion and the way I see things…
