Ausiello: Hate is such a strong word. Appropriate in this instance, but a strong word nonetheless. Anywho, here’s your bone (it’s a big one, so get ready): Lindsey’s back! Sources confirm to me exclusively that Michaela McManus’ new bosses at Law & Order: SVU have given her the OK to return to OTH this season. For how long, you ask? I’m not sayin’! In other words, don’t be so sure you’ve got the “Who’d Lucas Call?” cliffhanger figured out.

I just going to say leyton or brucas no lindcas or whatever you call her.Even though my man is a lindcas fan yup he is lol.But I still love him,he just has`nt watched every episode with me hes just watched season 5,because he wonders what it is I love about the show….Its Chad but he does`nt need to know that lol….

Yeah. So I believe that she might be back for more than just the premiere, but only because she still happens to be Lucas’s editor. At this point he is still a writer and I would assume bound to the publishing company. In addition, she and Haley are still friends and have been for at least a couple of years. I mean Haley did invite her to Jamie’s birthday party even after she left Lucas at the alter. I am a Leyton fan, so Leyton fans, please don’t take this the wrong way, but this is a drama. It is television and every once and a while, they are going to throw problems/issues in the way of every couple. Ex. Carrie with Nathan and Haley, Chris with Nathan and Haley. Things just aren’t allowed to go smoothly. That being said this guy is obviously not reading the spoilers that we have the inside track too, or his hatred of OTH just makes him want to screw with our heads. Thankfully, we are too smart for that.

I dont believe it for some reason….its seems to me Lucas and Peyton are already together in these spoilers, I doubt if she did come back Lucas would come running. Peyton is his soul mate. I think she would just cause drama.

I am not surprised she will be back–there has to be drama, plus I want Lucas to have closure to Lindsay and tell her he has always loved Peyton and he is not pining for her anymore. He should thank Lindsay bc the Lucas of season 5 was all about Lindsay and was going to lie to himself by marrying her. Lindsay was brave enough to see he still loved Peyton. So, bring on Lindsay, so Luke can say goodbye. I can’t see at this poing relationship drama concerning Lindsay.

Ausiello hates OTH so he is messing with everyone. The only time she will be back is for the book and closure. Other than that Lucas is not the guy that would go to Peyton and then back to Lindsey. Peyton is his and he is Peyton’s. End of story!

Im a leyton fan all the way but i would rather see lucas with brooke rather than lindsay!
I think Lindsay may come back to see what lucas’ life is like now, and to confirm that she did the right thing letting himn go.
Plus shes his editor right? So she still will have ties to him!

He hates OTH because he has bad taste in shows. Basically the guy liked Gilmore Girls which I personally liked as well but he being a male liked it and it was one of his personal favorites. You take it for what its worth. He is just jealous that Chad is taken I guess.

Lucas flying to New York for Lindsey was out of desperation. He was sick of being rejected and he wanted to not feel that again. He wrote two books about Peyton and none about Lindsey. His true feelings are for Peyton and he realizes that when he calls Peyton and says to gus that he made the right choice. Lindsey so far has not filmed for OTH that we know of right? So I doubt she is in the picture other than to cause a stir for about five minutes.

My friend and I stopped in Wilmington last month on the way home for Florida. We ate lunch at a sushi place downtown and Michaela came in to pick up some food. She was in and out in less than 2 minutes and had a her hood on. So she is obviously going to be in the season somewhat - even if its just the 1st episode or whatever.
I know none of that is really NEW info, but I thought I’d just share.

i still hate her and yes at first when he flew down to NY to tell lindsey that he loves her. BUT he also flew down to LA to ask peyton to marry her. going down to propose to someone is stronger then going down to say i <3 You. She better only be in the scene where all 3 girls say hello. she cant ruin anything at all with leyton! i knew and i think all of us did that luke was hiding his feelings again. lol. i love chad. and this guy has bad taste in shows!!!. one tree hill rocks. oh i HATE LINDSEY i dont hate lindsey when she is alon type character but when she is involved with luke in any way then i hate her.

Well he did actally try to marry Lindsey and was left at the alter. He said I Do. So that is saying alot about how he felt about Lindsey. He does have a past with Peyton, but he also has a past with Brooke. If he was really and truely in love with Peyton then I don’t see him marrying someone else. It is like his heart is divided into three parts, for all three ladies, so if you ask me they would all be getting short changed. He really needs to figure this out.

I beleive that his heart belongs FULLY to Peyton. It is his brain that is divided. He always seems to want to do the “right” thing and not hurt anyone. He mentioned that in s4 to Glenda about how he knew deep down that Peyton loved him and he loved her but he thought it would hurt Brooke. Same thing here. He spent sooo much time convincing himself about Lindsay that he actually started to beleive that he was over Peyton. NOT SO MUCH! Lindsay just saw it before Luke did.
As far as this Ausillo dude–he is an idiot! Go OTH!!!!

I love OTH but this Peyton/Brooke/Lindsay situation is driving me crazy…I love Brooke, but please!Is there any possibility that Lucas is gonna change his mind again?

No need to freak out if Lindsay comes back! If shes back for more than the premiere episode its just to stir up drama between Lucas and Peyton. As much as I dont want to see that..this is a television show so we should expect things like this. We know its not going to be all perfect for Leyton just like it not for Naley. But I would so much have Lindsey in the picture than having the other triangle resurface. and if Lindsey is back for more than the premiere inevitably she will Loose AGAIN like any other girl who has came in between Lucas and Peyton. I love Leyton!

Yeah we already knew Lindsey was back for the first episode right? So this isnt a big shock…
I think Michaela is an awesome actress to be honest and Ill miss her character but not Lindcas. Lindsey isnt the problem, its Lucas, thinking that he loved her more than Peyton. I REALLY dont think that Mark Schwahn would continue the Lucas/Lindsey/Peyton triangle for another season, he knows better!! LEYTON is for good..maybe some bumps in the road will follow but nothing that will keep them apart. <333

Does anyone remember the spoilerish things a while ago that said that whoever Lucas picked and him were going to have problems and possibly split? That’s when i was thinking that it was lindsey and I’m a leyton fan. Maybe Lindsey coming back in the picture is the friction that they were talking about but for leyton. I just hope its just friction and not a split. I don’t think i could take it again.

i love all you leyton fans lol i live in england and alot of people favour brucas! other than my very clever friends ofcourse haha, yeah i hope so yourartmatters, it’s the thought of all these amazing spoilers being whipped from undeneath us.
What i havent seen discussed alot is wether we think leyton are guna get hitched or not..what do you think, theyve already had the dream sequence for their wedding so i cant see a big white one that would be a bit controversial because of the lindcas one, I hope they do marry even if it is unromantic lol its more secure and lindsey would be so shocked lol

I know…im in the process of moving to georgia and opening up a daycare when I get there…i live in new jersey now…so I’m volunteering at the daycare my niece goes to…so I’ve been pretty busy…ive been reading the comments but its too late to respond…i can’t wait until sept 1st tho…i was it was going 2 be a 2hr premiere instead of one that’s not fair.
I’ve come 2 realize no matter where this life takes u haters will always follow that’s what’s wrng with the world 2day…just be happy 4 people…thats all…cause there is only one judge and everyone should know that.

So I’ve been watching season 4 over and over again because i love it and i just watched Whitey’s big speech in 408.
“You do realize we have one more game to play? Let me tell ya, this award means an awful lot to me… I might have given a lifetime to this team, but the players.. the players have given me so much more. You know, basketball was my first love and as most of you in here realize, you don’t forget your first love. My only regret is, I can’t share this wonderful moment with the other love of my life, my late wife Camilla. This time when i watched it, not only did i realize that Luke and Peyton were meant to be, I realized that “Luke and Peyton” is “Whitey and Camilla”.They are the younger versions of them. Peyton is the only person who ever fully understands Luke,and we know that he thinks being with her made everything else seem less important. We know the moment he met her, he was looking at his future and we know no person could ever come between them.
Its not just a coincidence that Lucas is the new coach of the tree hill ravens.

first I would like to say GINA GINA GINA…I LOVE U FOR THAT….and that’s exactly when brooke and lucas realized they weren’t them…and it was right on point….leyton understands each other and I LOVE THAT EPISODE…I LOVE U GINA LEYTON 4EVER.
LAU I’m 26…actually I finished school 2 be an accountant…been doing that 4 4years I love it…but also love children…so I’m gonna make it do what it do…lol

Here is another analogy of lucas and peyton that is so true from Leyton4ever FF:
So believe it or not I spent some portion of the night considering what Gus said, and while it is very positive for LP, I don’t believe fate and destiny is or will necessarily be the push that drives to people together if it also not concided with the choices we make. To be honest if Peyton had never told Lucas she was in love with him in season 4 he would never have even opened up to the possibility of being a couple again, because he had been hurt by her many times before. Peyton made the choice to confess how she felt, so their worlds collided in some sorts. That night in the hotel room Peyton made a choice to say “someday” because she knew the bitterness would confound them later on in life, and Lucas made a choice to walk out on her because of the pain and then continued to make choices which sent him on a different pathway of sorts. He did call her to come to his book signing, and Peyton went, but made the choice not to show up and so he made a choice to move on to Lindsey; see how easy it is to move away from your destiny. We control our fate on some levels.
Now here is where destiny or the stars come into play. Peyton made a choice to come home, and Lucas allowed her to get to him, because he could never stay away. He started to write about her again, in the form of the stars and destiny ironically; the comet. If we notice on some level destiny continues to push Peyton back in Lucas’ path because once again he ended up calling her to come to Vegas with him, much like he called her to come to his book signing again. However she had the CHOICE to say no, and once again they would go their separate ways, but she said yes and all is well. IMO its a combination of fate and choice, because if she had never said yes, the cycle would repeat itself. And Lucas never made a choice to be with Peyton, he made a choice to stop running from what continues to be placed in his path’; its unavoidable.
It was a mocking of sorts from Gus IMO. He was saying Peyton is Lucas’ destiny, but if he would like to think he had a choice to control that he made a smart one, but facing what was true, that what is meant to be must happen. Also Gus is right, women are a whole lot smarter than men. Peyton came back to TH, and she could have settled with the first guy she had sexual/romantic feelings for but she made a choice to commit to Lucas, and she showed up at the airport.
This is what im talking about DESTINY LUCAS & PEYTON,PEYTON IS HIS DESTINY AND NO ONE WILL EVER CHANGE THAT

Because “Lindsey” is able to return, he makes the assumption that oh great we think its her. But we don’t. We know the truth. He has no idea what any of us have figured out. C’mon now
It’s not like his spoiler said anything we didn’t know anyways. We know she is back for an episode, maybe she’ll even come back for more later in the season? Who knows. That, and because initially I thought it would be Lindsey (even though I didn’t think it’d work out)–he probably thinks oh everyone thinks Lindsey will be back so they think he chose her.
Nah-uh.

I just had a thought. Not a good one but wanted to find out what you all thought. So Brooke goes to New York to be with her family. Lindsey is also in New York right. Well Lucas goes to check on Brooke and runs into Lindsey who is pregnant. She ends up probably having a miscarraiage because she is on a different show. It throuws a rench in for Leyton but again they will prevail right? There has to be drama and I just see this as a way to make Leyton fans stir a bit. I also think in the process Peyton will end up pregnant as well. Anyhow let me know what you guys think I hope not but what else could it be.

we already know, that it has to be Peyton that he picks after seeing the pics from that episode witht he funeral. So I really don’t think Lindsay being back once and a while.
I mean it couldn’t have been anyone other then Peyton really anyway, after everything that happened last season, anyone else just wouldn’t make an sense. Those two are destined for one another. Everything he ever did always came back to her. He was almost always the one to save her.
I say bring back Chase for Brooke…that was my fav guy for her. Plus we all know after his few episodes last season that he still loves her!!!!!

lucas is not going to pick brooke or lindsey because just like suze said mark didnt make the leyton relationship the way he did for season 5 for no reason. he was clearly building their relationship so they could be together for season 6!!!
lucas chooses peyton to marry him and she says YES!!!!

I’ve already read spoilers on posted from scenes filmed, Lindsey return doesn’t effect whom Lucas calls, because the spoilers for episode three give away who that is even if the spoilers for the first two episode do not Quinton’s funeral is not a dream, whom Lucas attends that funeral with is not a dream, now the person who Lucas called would be the person be attend that funeral with him… one tree hill writer Mark schwan has said Lindsey will be around but last interview I read it was like a 6 episode arch and Brooke is about because of a contract Chad and Sophia signed after their divorce which mean no romance scenes for Brooke and Lucas, and that true.

Suze, I have to agree with you, but think about Brooke two she has said she’s been the Lindsey between Lucas and Peyton and Luke eventually realizes what he’s hiding from every time… so given this and given that Luke didn’t respond in any way to Lindsey’s confession in 5.18 and did to Peyton’s it kind of gives things way… through even with out the scenes about Peyton dream and they honest conversation between Peyton and Lucas in 5.18 it probably still would have been Peyton anyway, Luke already seems to be second guess the choice to win Lindsey back in 5.18.

mark schwann revealed who the could not go the romance direction with Brooke and Lucas in another earlier post I reveal way, it had to do with keeping Sophia from leaving the show it was agreed she and chad would sign a contract and what that contract was about was no love or romance scenes to take place between Chad & Sophia which means no Brooke &Lucas end game. The dream sequence for Brooke and Lucas in 6.01 probably had to be ok’d by several people to not break that signed contract.

Casey I agree with you 100% plus the fact the news comes after episodes 1 & 2 are mainly filmed and even 3. Luke choice has been posted as a spoiler but it pretty obvious who Luke choices the Whity & camilla is good comparison and also Brooke blatantly confirms in S5 she’s been the Lindsey between Lucas and Peyton and that NOT the place to be.

cgkl think about this, Lindsey saw what Lucas was hiding his heart from, Lindsey walked away from the wedding because Lucas was running from True Love. His feeling for Peyton are so strong either Peyton or Lucas are always running from, add Peyton some day comment to his marriage proposal and he took as a no it start him on the path of running again. Does he have feeling for Lindsey, yes I think he care about her, is it TRULY love no because I would have never kissed Peyton if he Truly love Lindsy and had truly moved on. Marriage Lindsey was his attempt to proof to everyone including himself he was over Peyton, look at 5.18 ending its pretty clear he’s NOT so over Peyton.

Question: there hasn’t really been anything going on between Brooke and Lucas for a long time and yet they keep bringing up the fact that he has to pick between 3 not 2! Why? Lindsey ok, but Brooke too? I´m happy that Leyton is fine so far but Mark´s ideas scare me!

I don’t think it’s lindsay because she already had her chance with luke and gave it up. LP belong together forever it’s been that way since the start and you can so tell he’s still in love with peyton because otherwise he wouldn’t have kissed peyton in S5 at all.And brooke and lucas are just really good friends plus Brooke wouldn’t do that to Peyton. LP is endgame! LP forever!!
