looking back, i think one of my all-time favorite comments between LP is “Its always going to be there isnt it? You and me.” because he wasnt even with Peyton at that point, hes just saying what he knows is true.

I just posted this on another site. Here is my opinion. in season 3 larry tells peyton to follow her heart, she goes to jake but she ends up saying “i love you lucas” and then in season 4 luke says “no matter what happens to either one of us, you will always be in my heart” there is no way that this isn’t about LP. Peyton came home to TH for Luke so obviously TH is where leyton feels at home the most. jmo

You know what could happen. This is just me talking. Maybe we will never see the card and like at the end of the season we find out the cards brooke. But he chooses peyton because he thinks that’s the right choice but like gus said it isn’t a choice its destiny. And he knows brooke wouldn’t do that to peyton. It is something mark would do, have a big shock at the end of the season. Or its lucas and peyton till the end. We shall see.

It’s really like the little bears or was it Goldilocks, with the whole porridge, chairs, and beds, and how the the baby bears is always just RIGHT!
I feel like that’s how all these dreams are. lol!

Im not sure if anyone on here is a part of the I <3 One Tree Hill facebook group but on there we talked about the possibility of Lindsey being pregnant with Lucas’ baby and thats why she comes back next season. If not that, I agree with you Moriah…i dont think Lindsey will be done with Luke in one way or another

Soo..I am new to this posting stuff, but I check this blog numerous times daily. I don’t know if anyone else picked up on it, but in the season 5 finale, I thought there were 2 hints that it has to be peyton that Lucas calls…ONE..when he goes to the river court and sees the Love Song lyrics written there, he looks at her name and smiles. and TWO…when Lindsey calls him and tells him whatever she said (i dont like lindsey) and then they show lucas again, he is still standing at the rivercourt looking at peyton’s name….just wondering if anyone else picked up on that? I love OTH..can’t wait till sept. 1st, and if it is not peyton, i will be super bummed!!!

Holly..I noticed too. I think the point of that was to show that Lucas realized at that point that he could do and say anything to Peyton and nothing would change her love for him. I mean Peyton flippin wrote the rivercourt thing right after he told her he hated her. And she repiles with that message.
Lucas then was like..ook..Ive done everything I can to drive her away and shes not going anywhere. So she means what she says. Its like hes finally secure with the whole situation.

I agree. Lucas has been waiting on his “SURE THING” with Peyton. And to see her steadfast in her love for him after all he has put her through, I think got to the stupid gene he carries around and made him realize Peyton would never leave him.
And if Lucas is with Peyton he won’t look at another woman because he never has before, and I don’t see him changing in that regard. After all, if you are Lucas and you have THE PEYTON SAWYER, why WOULD you look at another woman?

That’s just what came to my mind when I read the spoiler. I’m a die hard brucas fan but I think brooke deserves better. For some reason I’m fine that lucas picks peyton, and wouldn’t mind seeing that, but they way oth shocks anything could happen at the end. Leyton I think was destined but is that the way the shows gonna end? I’m not sure about that anymore.

after s5 …. there is NO turning back … if
leyton doesn’t end up together it’s because either lucas or Peyton die in the end wich I could easily guess … Lucas ( HCM) but they wouldn,t do that so Leyton end up together because if not then they end up ALONE and Mark wouldn,t end oth like that … and MArk had made it pretty clear in s5 that brucas are great friend now and have no romantic feelings for each other.

Everyone wants us brucas fans to just give well that ain’t gonna happen sorry…as for the triangle yeah its gotta end.Their adults now grow up Lucas make your choice.Like I said before if brooke was’nt part of it why is she one of his dreams and yeah lindseys their to but I think we all know there have been only 2 girls for lucas…and I belive leyton is happening yes it is…but I also believe we are gonna see something happen with brucas to..you know maybe leyton come to realize they are not the same two people they were before they are different now…and maybe brucas start getting closer or something…these are the things I wanna believe…and I don’t disrespect leyton fans not one of you..and I would never tell you to give up on what you believe…but I’m not giving up on brucas till the end of the season when the credits go up…or if during the season I realize brucas are not gonna happen…my faith is there..just had to get those things off my chest

Not everyone wants Brucas fans to give up on their faith. It’s just that I find it impossible to break up Leyton especially after he proposed to her twice. And I know Brucas fans want Leyton to realise they aren’t the same people they were before and I think they’re not the same people they were before, actually they’re stronger and more in love. The only thing Linsday/Brooke did to their relationship was to deepen it and make them realise they can’t be 100% happy without each other.
But I respect all the Brucasers that have faith in them. I’d do the same if I were you. Maybe Brucas will happen again. But that doesn’t mean us Leytoners will give up on our couple.

for like 605 or 606 have Leyton together happily, and Lucas wanting to change dates on a book tour most likely because of the Leyton wedding date.
besides Leyton being destined…
this is almost certainly the last season- that does not leave much time for anything big to change and be believable…
after everything in season 4, everything in season 5…
surviving another obstacle (Lindsey) between them,
the whole comet thing, showing that everything that Leyton has-started from the beginning…
using words like epic love story, and timeless love story to describe them.
you think after everything Mark has done he is gonna go oh wait after 6 years of making Leyton meant to be and all of seasons 4 and 5 being about them…lets just put Brucas together…
*get Brooke to magically forget that she’s been between them before-twice- and came out the loser.
*forget everything she believes about Leyton being meant to be together and its ALWAYS been them
*forget holding her best friend when she was completely broken over “losing” the love of her life.
So she’ll just betray her, despite everything they learnt in highschool and how they grew from it.
and pretty much forget everything Lucas has said & done seasons 4 and 5 especially…
but even in the other seasons when he was always there for Peyton.
and just dump the love of his life and soulmate for his friend Brooke who he dated for a maximum of what…
6 months in HIGHSCHOOL?…and 1 of those months technically doesnt even count!
I love you guys for having faith but seriously…
its not a realistic option to take the show in that direction anymore…it undoes all the work Mark put into those storylines! and all the effort he took to show Leyton are meant to be.

What I dont understand is if Leyton are endgame what is gonna fill the rest of the season? Every season has had lucas in a love triangle and I dont see this one being any different. I know Leyton fans feel its definately them cos of the spoilers but its only a few episodes in of a 22 episode season. Maybe Leyton are endgame but I seriously think it won’t be an easy ride.

it probably wont be an easy ride but drama doesnt mean a triangle…
we already know of:
*Leyton in Vegas/LA
*Dan’s accident/kidnapping
*Brooke’s attack/losing c/b
*Quentin’s death
*Mick Wolf aka. Peyton’s biological father
*Lindsey coming back for the meeting
and like you said thats just the first 6 episodes…
those storylines will not all be over in one episode each
they will stretch on for a bit…
plus of course an LP wedding (or a recommitment ceremony if they make it that they secretly got married)…with the families returning (Kandy, Lily, Larry, Derek)
and the other character’s storyline’s to- often they are involved….there will be plenty going on.
There will be drama no doubt!
but they’re at the point where it won’t affect them… they will deal with everything together.
thats what husbands and wives do.
Naley don’t have new drama each episode-
they do have drama but its one or 2 storylines stretched out and they work through it together…
look at season 5:
*Nathan’s accident/losing his NBA career
*Nathan coaching/Haley teaching
*Nanny Carrie/Jamie’s kidnapping/trust issues
*Getting back on top of their career goals-
music and professional basketball
were the main storylines for them as a couple…
then you add in other storylines like:
Quentin
Dan being released
Lucas/Peyton/Lindsey
Brooke/Angie
Skills
Deb/Skills
and it creates a season of drama!
you dont need triangles and a million storylines
you just need a few (which we have)
and the other characters storylines!
plus i have a horrible feeling with all the LP happiness the drama that they will create will be something horrible like Peyton getting pregnant then having a miscarriage…something tragic but they go through it together…and later they end up pregnant again and it will be fine.
the only ‘triangle’ might be when Lindsey comes back and that will be nothing anyway.
LP are endgame for sure!
