Amy and I just discovered something. You know all the fan pics we have been seeing with Hilarie coming off set and wearing a silver band on her left index finger. Well, Peyton is wearing that same ring in 5×18.

My speculation is that is her mom’s wedding band she is wearing and when Lucas says he doesn’t have a ring then she pulls that one off her finger and says it would seem apppropriate to use her mom’s ring.

That would be really cool if they used her mum’s wedding ring, very sentimental, but would they not be engaged by episode 4?

I don’t like these kind of spoilers. It doesn’t really tell us anything. To me, it doesn’t mean that Leyton is not engaged. We haven’t seen any of the episodes and don’t know what is going to happen for sure until we see it. Peyton not wearing a ring today is not concerning me as a Leyton fan. It is just not.

im confused a lot now. are leyton still going on and engaged.!! im worried now. why wouldnt she be wearing her ring?? some one explain im worried as a leyton fan.

I told Amy maybe the skipped the enagement ring because of all the engagement ring drama.

I think they are engaged and Peyton is wearing that wedding band on her index finger until they get married.

yeah i dont think they would hide it but im still worried about the whole why isnt she wearing her ring. maybe there isnt any engagment rig=ng and that thats the ring she is goin to use for the wedding ring…. what do you people think this spoiler is about.

I think maybe they don’t wanna cause drama with lindsey? Cause one minute he says he wants lindsey back and the next leyton are engaged. It would probably hurt her especially after she left him that message saying she still loved him. Or she culda left it at home geez haha

Hey they just posted this on FF on the leyton side this was posted by Corey Brucasplusnaley so i feel better after reading this lol

The ring in 601 is Peyton’s ring. It’s a family ring. We already know this.

I really don’t know why she wouldn’t be wearing it. Unless they aren’t telling anyone? I really don’t know why they wouldn’t tell anyone unless it was because of all the drama. But I know that there are wedding preparations So yea.. I’m pretty sure people know.

who cares wich fingers she wear it they aren’t married yet and they probably didn,t tell anyone so I agree with you GIna. ANd sometimes Haley does not wear her ring but keep it on her necklace.

JMO, but I just find it really interesting that every spoiler related to Peyton and Lucas, whether it be admission of Love, closeness or even now the so called ring is always negative. Any talk of Brucas scenes in the first episode seem “so significant”, but it seems like the people giving out this information like to downplay anything Leyton related.

I don’t know what happens with Lucas and Peyton, but I think the ring is a mute point for them given past history, and it does not difine them. We don’t know if they in fact got married and if they did it would not surprise me if they keep it a secret since there has been so much going on back home. Either way, I would be thrilled to seem them together, happy and starting their lives together with love and honesty. Rings and wedding ceremonies are not what matters, but Lucas and Peyton finding their way back to each other after a few years of heartache would make me a happy.

IDK, with all the drama going on maybe LP do hide the fact that they are together? Plus, obviously if Peyton was wearing the ring on that specific finger right now, the “Cat would be outta the bag.” It could mean something and it couldn’t. I kind of think that they hide it for the first couple episodes (not their relationship, but their marriage/engagement) just because of Brooke being attacked/Q’s death/Mouth (I think) leaving OTH/Dan and Carrie drama/Skillz and Deb.
