She can make up good answers on the spot and is pretty but I can’t get past the fact that she lies and lies and lies. Someone at the TCA’s asked her her status relationship wise and she said she’s single. SHE’s LYING! her and james hold hands in public in wilmington. everyone knows about them and she herself was one that planted the InTouch article so why is she lying about them? it’s ridiculous. it just makes her look more and more like a liar and its making me lose respect for her.

I can’t believe that she recommended that young girls watch sex in the city. I think is is highly socially irresponsible to be suggesting the young teenage girls look up to a show with content such as that on the sex in the city. Even the edited version would not be a show I would want my young teenage girl emulating. I agree that the show is about strong female friendship, but it is definately at the wrong age and level for children. There have to be other, more appropriate shows about strong women that she could have mentioned…

I think she says the most idiotic things sometimes. The thing about teens attacking celebrities…that’s not a big issue on the grande scheme of things. She probably read a blog where everyone was attacking her, and just said that. She really should think twice before saying things, and yeah the Sex and the City analogy was ridiculous.

  8. Comment by charlene aka ChaCha in August 6, 2008 @ 10:28 am

If I was dating James I would not hide it lol :D but I guess being a celebrity its different…they have to hide their relationships, which sucks…

  9. she said SO many issues…not that THAT was the biggest issue and she said teenagers attacking EACHOTHER aswell not just celebrities- she was trying to make her point… and she’s right today’s generation for the most part are very negative and bitchy and can be quite disrespectful.
She was trying to put the point across that no matter what race, shape or size we need to respect ourselves first and foremost and of course others and believe in ourselves.

she said look at Sex in the City-
    NOT THE CONTENT!!!…
but you have 4 incredibly different woman- shapes, sizes and passions.
young girls get to watch the EDITED version on cable now and you hope that maybe THATS what they’ll take away from it…NOT depending on men or on materialistic things but EVERYONE IS WONDERFUL IN THEIR OWN RIGHT.

Sex is a part of teenage years to and i guarantee so many teenage girls already watch it…
But that aside, if you actually listen to the point she was trying to make it’s nothing to do with the sex part of the show but the strength and beauty and independence of the women and believing in themselves and relying on their friends.

and she has every right to keep her relationship with James private…especially if its more than friendship.
    IT’S NO-ONE ELSE’S BUSINESS!

    well said leyton=TLA

i mean if she is in a relationship with james good for her…maybe she is just scared to open up to everyone about it cause it worked out “so well” for her the last time she did!

She is very smart and puts everything into a good perspective!!

Sophia you rock :) keep it upp

I am a mom too, and I think Sophia is great.

I am sure she is a great person, although, unless I had spent some extended time with her, I am not sure that I can personally make thatg judgement call.
But, I am sticking by the fact that mentioning sex and the city as an example for the TCA was poor judgement. unfortunately, stars are role models, and especially on the TCA should make age appropriate suggestions. I might not be a mom, but as a young high school teacher, I spent more time with people’s children than they do. They may be into sex and other issues raised on Sex and the City, but I don’t believe that they shold be encouraged by supposed role models.

Leyton=TLA you said some smart things! i like how you think! if you don’t mind how old are you? if it’s not a problem to let me know!
i think that Sophia was right about teenage attacking each other! i’m a teenage and a lot of teenage attack me on Hi5, i use Hi5 more then myspace, i don’t have many friends on myspace because i’m new! and like i said a lot of teenage attack me on Hi5! they said that i’m too fat(because the romanian teenage like to be just skin and bones) or “look!!! this girl looks like Harry Potter!” (that’s because i wear glasses! i guess that i’m not the only teenage who’s attacked on this kinda sites! but that sites have their good site! i find a lot of “friends” if i can call them like that! new people, not exaclly people i can talk to, but speak about common things!

i didn’t realised that Sophia said to watched Sex in the City! i noticed about the comparations, or i don’t know how should i call them, that she made! when you are a teenage you have to find your personality, your friends maybe, and you have to find a model in life and i think that’s what she wanted to speak about! at least i understood that! maybe i didn’t understood well but anyway…Sophia is a great person :-D

sex and the city is alot better then watching teen trash such as gossip girls. she didn’t have any choice but to mention that show to make her point clear. can you think of any other shows that she should have suggested? because as far as i know (and ive seen almost all the teen shows up to date) all shows deal with sex and what not. at least she was smart enough to mention the edited version.

anywho, she is very well spoken. and stop bringing james into this. if they her indeed together, that’s great. but its her business whether to keep it private or not.

Leyton=TLA I totally agree with everything you said and I love how you said it. Sophia did not say “oh young girls watch sex and the city for the sex scenes” she said to watch the EDITED versions on cable because the friendship the four characters have is amazing. Each one of them is different with their looks, personality, passions, etc. and Sophia was saying that girls should learn to embrace themselves for who they are. She’s definitely a good role model for young girls. And who gives a S*** if she’s said before that she’s not dating James. If she is or isn’t it’s her right to keep it to herself. If you were a celeb and you’re whole private life was in the public eye wouldn’t you want to keep things low key? Look at Brangelina for the LONGEST time they never admitted they were a couple and it was THEIR RIGHT NOT TO. Just because you’re on tv and people know who you are doesn’t mean you don’t get to have a private life. If she is with James she probably wants it to be private something just for them and if she isn’t then that’s fine too. And FYI just because you hold hands with someone doesn’t mean you’re automatically dating. I’ve seen plenty of my friends hold hands with guys who they’re just really close friends with.

In case anyone was wondering, in my previous submission, I typed “testing” to make sure my comments would go through.

Here are my comments. I agree with you Carly. I think Sophia Bush is a wonderful young lady. She embodies the good old fashion lady qualities with a modern spin. That was the point she was trying to make by suggesting the support of friends. If I had the chance, I’d consider myself lucky to be in her life. I think her excitement about not having any love scenes in Season 5 shows that she’s matured and is taking time to become her adult self. I think that might be the new point of her character and that is one of the few things among scrapbooking and loving clothes that she has in common with her on screen character, “Brooke.” When you’ve reached that point of maturity, you naturally attract the right person for you without even trying. If that person is James Lafferty, then great! He seems like a good old fashion gentleman. If not, then the right man will come along.

In real life, it’s obvious that she was raised properly. She believes in the rules of traditional marriage. CMM seems like a good guy but I guess he may not have been ready for that kind of commitment. Sophia deserves to be with someone as loyal as herself. On that note, I’d like to offer her the following quote in case she ever reads this, “If you live to be 100, I hope I live to be 100 minus 1 day, so I never have to live without you.”

I wish her Future Success in her acting career and Happiness in your personal life,

    TmichaelF

What do you expect her to say? Im dating James Lafferty! Yeah, Nathan. She wants to keep her personal life private. Get over it! She obviously learned her lesson the first time around. Shes happy, and at least she got a hotter guy. James Lafferty is way hotter than CMM. Hes a hater and a tool for outing them like that. You lost her, and your miserable because your daughter..i mean fiancee is dumb as bricks! Hes such a loser..eew. James and Sophia really care about eachother and he appreciates her. I think its great Sophia found real love and has moved on. Chad its your turn! Hes a perve too!
