Season 6 Episode 2 One Million Billionth of a Millisecond on a Sunday Morning Recap

Jamie is jumping on the bed…Lucas has a voiceover about jumping on the bed as a kid and being happy. They show Lucas talking to Peyton in bed about Karen saying if he broke the box spring he had to sleep on the floor for the rest of his life. Peyton says she’ll sleep with him for the rest of her life on the floor. They jump on the bed and they alternate showing Jamie jumping. Haley comes in and says if he breaks the box spring, he will be sleeping on the floor for the rest of his life.
Skills walks into Naley house. Deb is the room as well and Haley says I know you’re here because of Deb…and her cooking. Haley leaves and Skills and Deb begin kissing. They look up and see Jamie has come into the kitchen. They try to play it off but when they leave Jamie says, “And they thought the last nanny was crazy.”
Carrie brings in breakfast to Dan. Dan tries to talk but he can’t. Carrie says he’s like the perfect man if he was younger. She goes to feed him and it’s bugs on the plate.
Deb is in the car with Jamie. He asks if people kiss all the time. She says if they love each other. He says do you love Uncle Skills? You were kissing him. Deb tries to deny it. Jamie says it’d be cool. “Grandpa Skills”
Ravens are practicing in the gym. Skills stops them to yell at them. Nathan says he’ll give it a shot. Q talks smack about Nathan. Nathan says just give me the ball and get out of the way. Nathan makes the shot. Haley asks about breakfast and Skills says it was good. Haley says Q is doing good with Les Mis. Nathan slams the ball again. Haley yells “Hey 23, call me.” Q says he needs to change his jersey number.
Peyton and Lucas are still on the bed laughing and having fun. The maid walks in on them and they say it’s fine, they’re getting married. Peyton says she wants his mom there at the wedding. Brooke calls. Peyton asks Lucas if she can tell her. He says to tell her they’re coming home for the ceremony. She tells her about LA and Lucas and the wedding. Brooke says that’s great, Peyton. I’m just at the store and someone needs help. Peyton asks if everything is ok and Brooke says I’m just really happy for you. I gotta go. Brooke is very bruised and swollen standing in her kitchen.

Brooke makes another call to have someone meet her at the store.
Lucas and Peyton and are on the airplane. Lucas asks when Peyton would like to get married. Peyton says let’s find a place we both like and then decide on a date. He asks her to move in. She says she’d love to. She says she wants to spend one more night with Brooke and she’s going to miss her. Luke says you got it.
COB is a mess. Deb walks in and Brooke is there with sunglasses on. Deb asks what happened. She takes her glasses off. Deb is shocked. Brooke says she’s not gonna cry. Deb says it’s ok. Brooke says I’m not gonna cry.
Jamie walks out of school and Haley is there to pick him up. Jamie sees Dan’s car and Haley just says huh. She watches the car drive away and has a suspicious look.
Q and Nate are at the gym by themselves. Q says you are getting it back. You’re playing like me. Haley and Jamie come in. Q and J rap again then play box. Jamie is wearing his cape. Q says he likes it and wishes he had one. Q says he bought him something. Haley tells Nathan Dan was at the school again and it bothers her. Q brings Jamie a box and says he used to put his treasures in there. Nathan and Jamie play around.
Deb puts makeup on Brooke. Brooke says she doesn’t want to call the police. Brooke says the computer, sketches and cash are missing. Brooke doesn’t want to call the police so press won’t be involved. She says Deb can’t tell anyone. Deb agrees. Brooke asks if Deb has a gun. Brooke wants her to teach her how to use it.

Carrie tells Dan Jamie was happy to see him. Carrie says when Jamie goes missing, Haley will remember she saw Dan’s car almost every day. How does it feel to be the prime suspect?
Nathan, Skills and Jamie are at the gym. Nathan can tell Skills is thinking about something and asks what is going on. He asks if it was hard to keep his relationship with Haley secret from Lucas. Nathan says no because he didn’t like Lucas then. It was probably hard for Haley because they were friends. Jamie pipes up and says you didn’t like Uncle Lucas? Nathan says that was a long time ago, big ears. Jamie plays with his ears to see how big they are. Nathan wonders if he’s got a girlfriend behind their back. Jamie says yeah, what’s going on Skills?? Jamie says hey, my ears aren’t that big.
Haley is in class and tells Q he is doing really well. She says she appreciates how he is with Jamie and Nathan. Q says Jamie already has it going on. Q says he has a little brother his age and he copies him. Haley asks what he wants to do with his life besides ball. Q says get married, raise a family. He says he thinks of it when he sees his brother or J. Luke. Maybe he’ll have a little girl. Haley says, well, you’ve come a long way. A+ on his paper.
Jamie is walking on Nathan’s back. It pops as Haley walks in. Haley asks where Deb is. Nate doesn’t know.
Deb walks into Skills and says he doesn’t have very long. Deb tells Skills he had to lie to Jamie and then something else happened. Skills wants to know but Deb says she can’t tell. She says she has a friend that is going through stuff and she wants to keep it a secret but she’s not sure she should. Skills says she must respect her. Skills asks if he can do anything. Deb said you just helped. They said they just had their first real conversation. They kiss.
Peyton walks into her house and yells for Brooke. Brooke says don’t freak out. Peyton says OMG, what happened. Brooke says Lindsey came in and she argued and Lindsey did it. Peyton says Brooke, Brooke. She tries to say she fell. Peyton says I’m sorry I wasn’t here. Why didn’t you call me? Brooke says I did but you said you were getting married. Peyton says it’s sudden right? Brooke says please the rest of the world has been waiting since high school. Peyton says he wants her to move in. Brooke says I really am happy for you. I might be a little happier if it was your ass that fell down the stairs. She says she’ll really miss her.

Haley is playing piano and Jamie walks in. He wants to make Q a cape. Haley says sure. Luke comes in and Jamie says did you know Daddy didn’t like you before? Jamie walks out and Haley asks about where he’s been. Luke says actually we’re engaged. She says you were just engaged. He says we just spent the last days happier than we have ever been and my best friend told me to pick one. She asks if they are happy and he says we both are. Haley says she’s got his back.
Peyton is sitting on the couch with Brooke’s head on her lap. Peyton thanks her for being a great friend. Brooke says she doesn’t believe in karma. Even if you’re a good person, bad stuff happens. Peyton asks if she’s missing Angie. Brooke says she doesn’t want to talk about. Peyton says if you don’t believe in karma, what do you believe in. Brooke says justice.
Haley and Jamie is making the cape and he asks about Deb. They say Deb has been sleeping a lot lately. Haley goes to look for scissors and finds medicine in a drawer. She goes to see Deb and blames her for the meds. Deb is shocked. Haley argues with her. Deb says she’s been having sex and hasn’t taken a single pill. She says Nate’s back has been bothering her.
They confront Nate about the pulls. He says yes. He’s been taking them like he’s supposed to. Deb says she’s going back to bed. Nate says they help. Haley says she just wants him to be careful…sorry. She wants to see the doctor and talk to him about everything. He agrees to go the next day.
Carrie is arranging flowers and talks small talk to Dan. She tells him about the pager. She says he got a page. She doesn’t understand what it is for. Dan tries to talk. Carrie teases him “it’s alive!”. Dan says, “You’re plan sucks” and smiles.

Nate is at the doctor. He says he needs to slow down. He needs to be smart about his practicing. The doctor says it’s possible to play but he could cause enough damage to be put back in the wheelchair.
Jamie and Lucas are in Peyton’s room. He tells Jamie Peyton is moving in with him. Jamie asks if Lucas was in love with momma. He says no. He asks if he was ever in love with Aunt Brooke. Luke says it’s a long store., Jamie asks if he has to be in the ring bearer again. Luke says not if he doesn’t want to. Jamie says good because last time it didn’t work out so good.
Dan is now talking. Telling her her plan sucks again. Carrie asks why. Dan says the pager has a number on the back. Call it. Carrie asks if it’s a trick. He says call and find out. She says her plan doesn’t suck and dials the number.
Nathan and Haley are at the RiverCourt. Nathan says so they’re getting married huh? Haley says yes. Nathan asks if Haley was scared of what the doctor said. Haley says yes, when he mentioned paralysis. Haley talks about how she has always loved seeing him play ball. She says he was like a rock star. He says he remembers her sitting with Keith. He played that game for her. Each basket was like a personal Haley James pick-up line. Nathan says he loves it too but he’d give it up for her.
Lucas brings out the last box from Peyton’s room. Lucas asks about Brooke. Peyton says she was gone when she got up. Luke says remember it’s a beginning, not an ending.
Brooke is lying in bed all bruised up.

Carrie is pacing. Dan taunts her to call the number. An emergency medical response team answers and tells her she must have the wrong number. Dan laughs. Carrie gets mad and throws the phone.
Brooke comes out and looks into Peyton’s room. Deb is at the door. Brooke lets her in. Deb says she might want a girls’ night. Brooke says no thanks. Deb says I was like you but you won’t end up like me.
Carrie is mad and wants to know what it means. Dan tells her he only has 6 months to live and even if kidnaps Jamie, he’ll be dead. Carrie threatens to hurt him. Dan says I’m already dead. Carrie gets mad and leaves.
Peyton is unpacking stuff in Lucas’ room. She tries to call her house to talk to Brooke but the voicemail comes on.
Dan tries to get out.
Nathan is playing with Q again. Nate says he’s done for the day. Nate says he has a really hot wife and awesome son waiting for him at home. Q says I’m happy to be a part of it. Nate says what? Your comeback. It’s a beautiful thing to watch. Nate says to meet him at the rivercourt in the morning…and thank you.
Haley is sewing Q’s cape. Jamie says it’s awesome and says Q will loves it.
Lucas goes to see Skills at the coach’s office. He tells Skills about Peyton. They decide to get drinks.
Q goes into a gas station. He pays for gas but the cashier gives him a look. They show a guy down in the office with blood on him. Q turns around to leave. The guy says have a nice night. They show a gun go off and they show Brooke practicing. The phone rings and Lucas answers from bed. Luke says Oh my God. He hangs up the phone. Peyton asks what it is. Lucas says, “Quentin Fields was shot tonight. He’s dead.”

I know this is off topic, but I am watching last weeks episode for the 30 millionth time and I noticed something new. When Luke is standing there and he picks the queen of hearts and then Lindsay, Brooke, and Peyton all tell him to pick one. He only smiles when she says it. How cute. Just wondered if anyone else noticed.

Then it allows you to choose and image from the internet or your own hard drive. I found the picture I liked in Google images, saved it to my hard drive and was then able to edit it.

I will not win this conversation and everyone is entitled to their own opinions. It’s just that Leyton has absolutely no chemistry what-so-ever! I just realized there aren’t many Brucas fan left… well, because this show sucks started season 5. Peyton is so emotional, so wrong for Lucas. Even bringing Anna back for Lucas would make more sense Just my 2 cents.

haha i agree, whoever thinks that Leyton has no chemistry is obviously watching the wrong show! it has been about Lucas and PEYTON since the PILOT… not just since season 5! and it’s Brucas that doesn’t make sense anymore… not Leyton. Lucas and Brooke BOTH acknowledged in season 4 that they’re better off as friends. they BOTH also acknowledged that when Whitey was making his speech about love at the basketball banquet… he WASN’T talking about what Brucas had. then in the next scene Lucas went to see Peyton, because he realized that Whitey was talking about the love that he had with her. Brucas is just much better off as friends… they’re too different for them to be together romantically. Lucas and Peyton are the ones that are meant to be, everybody on the show has said it.. including Mark! can’t wait for more Leyton tonight… wooo hooo!!

No, catch what he says after that. He says I am happy, we both are. He is finally doing something for himself, he is being selfish, and he is being selfish with Peyton. I think for the first time in a long time he is selfless in wanting to make someone happy, Peyton, but also selfish and also making himself happy being with Peyton.

He was so serious and almost remose with Lindsay. Could you have imagined him jumping on the bed with her?

He is free with Peyton, free to be happy, free to be himself and just able to be himself. That is what true love is.

Another good episode. Loved when he said “pick a team” it was like a shout out to Team Leyton. I also loved the wink he gave her. I wish the scene packing up Peyton’s room involved Jamie and Peyton more but that’s OK. I guess from reading spoilers I was expecting something different. All in all, great but sad ending. Can’t wait till next week.

I absolutely loved this episode … I think I liked seeing Leyton together in this episode better than in the premiere… they were just great together like all the time or distance between them in the last four years dissapeared… they wasted no time in moving in together

Hey Liz I didn’t notice any uncertainty … I actually for one of the first episodes in a long time, I noticed him smile for no reason and he talked without that anger from season five and when he talks to P you can tell he doesn’t have to force the I love yous and cute moments they are just happy

I am sorry but I still don’t see how anyone can think Brooke and Lucas are better togehter.

You like seeing Brooke insecure and not being able to be herself and always trying to be what she thinks Lucas wants. And you like Lucas slowly turning his eyes to Peyton when she is near and snapping to attention when she calls.

It was Lucas and Petyon from the Pilot and that is how it will end. Lucas and Peyton got lost for a while, like we all do. Life gets in the way. And it is so rare we get the chance to go back to the crossroads in life. Lucas and Peyton got that chance.

How can you not see the light in Lucas’ eyes. He is smiling for no reason and his soul is light. And when he winked at Peyton after saying it wasn’t an ending, it was a beginning. Who remembers the last time Lucas winked at anyone?

And Peyton, she knows something is wrong with Brooke. But she is also human. It was wrong of Brooke to lie, but I think she is human too. She is embarressed what happened to her because I think deep down she knows her mother had something to do with it and who can face that reality?

And Peyton buying what Brooke said about falling is like I said, her being human. After a year of darkness and unhappiness she is happy and her heart is light. I have been in that kind of depression, it eats at your soul. And when I got out of it I have since tried to ignore all darkness and drama around me. You run from it, avoid it, it is the flight or fight in us. It is human.

But back to Lucas and Peyton. It is like Haley said The only people who will try to ruin your happyness are the unhappy people.

Awe B Davis I know these must be hard episodes to watch. I really wish me being happy didn’t mean you having to be so bummed….

And I realize that last weeks episode laid on the cheesiness a little much but I think this week was more real. And I’ll bet that next week we won’t see any sapy moments…

I love that Peyton and Lucas can be so light a free and fun with each other. It’s been way to long that they’ve both been serious and dark. I think think it’s a great change of pace for them and I love that they can bring that out in each other. And with everyone else being so sad and depressed (well not yet but it’s coming). It’s good for them to be free for a while. I don’t expect that to last though, Im pretty sure there’s some drama in store for them and maybe you’ll get your wish and they’ll stop being happy and Peyton will go back to crying every episode and Luke can beat up some random basketball kid and drink himself into a stupor….

I agree Peyton is not gullible she just has a different way of dealing with difficult issues than everyone else. She doesn’t just jump in and accuse Brooke of lying to her she sat with her and let Brooke know she was her BFF and helped her feel safe and comfortable to tell her the truth… she is not stupid she knows that you don’t get those kind of bruises from falling down the stairs.

I just saw a cap of Brooke in this episode.

I really can’t completely enjoy LP with Brooke’s face like that! I’m a Brooke fan too, I like her more than Lucas, and I hate to see her in a dark place and in pain. Great storyline for Sophia and she can rock this, but it’s still really difficult to see Brooke all bruised up. I hope she gets better and whoever did that to her pays with a thousand suns. I can’t even look at Brooke’s face for more than a few seconds, it’s that bad.

I didn’t watch the episode after the last one. Leyton is just so boring and if you are talking about high school take a look at their relationship. They are trying to live a fairytale life and are so cheesy together. Brucas had a lot of chemistry. OTH is losing fans just check out the forum on CW Lounge it’s going down the tubes because everything is just cheesy now. Also in reference to Brooke seeming happy for Peyton, of course because that’s Brooke she is a true friend and she knows how obsessed Peyton is with Luke and she’s willing to sacrifice her true feelings. I think it is funny how people see only what they want to see. They hate Petyon so they say she just runs off to move in with Lucas. She is a bad friend, she should have known Brooke was lying.

Everyone was right, Peyton knew something was up with Brooke but she also knew when to back off and give Brooke space. These guys have been BFF since they were eight, I think they know each other inside and out.

And did you notice the look on Peyton’s face at the end of the episode when she called Brooke for the probably 100th time that day? She was trying to find Brooke but she also just stopped to listen to the message on the answering machine. Listening to she and Brooke joke on the answering machine and she got this sad smile. Lucas told Peyton it wasn’t an ending, it was a beginning. But that still doesn’t stop her from missing what was with her best friend Brooke, and what can never be again.

When she marries Lucas there is a part of her that can never be that way again with Brooke. But I also liked how Lucas kind of knows in some ways he will play No. 2 in Peyton’s heart when it comes to Brooke. If Peyton was the “awful friend” some of you claim, she would have just grabbed up her stuff and moved in with Lucas. But, she hears a sadness in Brooke’s voice and wanted to spend one more night with Brooke.

Brooke hasn’t really had this kind of dark storyline. For most of the seasons, Peyton usually had the major storylines that were immersed with drama and angst. This is good for Sophia, even though it is hard to watch Brooke go through this.

I want to believe that as the episodes go on, Brooke will let some people in and when and if she does, they will be there for her. The core five are a tight group. Lucas and Peyton are especially close to Brooke. I hope they can help her through.

Brooke’s bruised face is really hard to see. I try not to look directly at her when I watch the episode. I know she’ll be okay, she’ll just have to go through a dark place to get there.

I think in Part 2 of last week’s season premier episode that will be airing later in the season we will see what really happened to Brooke during the attack. I’m thinking she was more than just beat up and robbed, probably raped and she probably tried to fight back and get away which is why the store was so wrecked. If Victoria was behind it, then I’ve got to believe that the person she hired to just break in and steal the sketches took it upon himself to do more than just rob her. And come on, Peyton not calling her on her story that she fell down the stairs with those black-eyes and finger print bruised arms is ridiculous, so is Peyton thinking Brooke left already the morning she moved out, wouldn’t Brooke’s car have still been in their driveway since she was still in bed. The writers need to give us viewers a bit more credit when writing these stories.

First, Brooke wore long sleeve shirts around Peyton. All Peyton could see was the scrape on her neck.

I thought about Brooke being in her room with Peyton was still there. Peyton said Brooke was gone when she got up this morning. So, I am assuming Brooke did leave before Peyton got up. Then Peyton got up, looked for Brooke, and then went to Lucas’ house. They went to pick up Jamie, because Haley and Nathan were going to the doctor, and then went back to Peyton and Brooke’s to pick up her stuff.

The only quesiton is her car. But if she was hiding out maybe she took a cab back to her house. That is a stretch but there were a few plot holes in the ep.

Yes you can say that again, there sure were plot holes in this episode, the biggest ones being Brooke’s two big black eyes…falling down the stairs would not give someone two fist shaped black eyes so why the writers would do that to Peyton’s character and make her look so clueless last night is aggravating. Even more so is that they would write it to have Brooke not want any of her friends to know. I was looking forward to this storyline mostly to get the chance to see the role reversals for a change and have her friends be the ones to help her through a difficult time, but I guess we’ll be left waiting longer for something like that to happen,if ever.

Actually,Peyton wasn’t clueless at all last night. If you remember the dialogue between Brooke and Peyton when Peyton’s sitting on the couch with Brooke’s head on her lap…
B: I don’t believe in karma. You try to be a good person and bad stuff happens anyway.
P: Like what kind of bad stuff? Falling down the stairs? (it was obvious Peyton didn’t believe the falling-down-the-stairs part, she knew something else was up, especially since she asked what kind of bad stuff.)
B: Something like that.(Look at Peyton’s face after Brooke says that. She knows Brooke’s hiding something from her.)
P: Are you missing Angie? (She asked that because she knew the reason Brooke was so depressed wasn’t falling down the stairs. Something else was up).
B: I don’t wanna talk about it.
P: Let me ask you something. If you don’t believe in karma what do you believe in?
B: Justice. ( Why would Brooke answer justice if she was upset about falling down the stairs/missing Angie? And why would Brooke hide from Peyton the next thing in the morning? Do you really think Peyton didn’t realise something else was up?)
Peyton figured Brooke had another problem to deal with, but she decided not to push her, especially since like Charlene said, Brooke didn’t like for anyone to see her vulnerable. And Peyton was worried about her, she kept calling her, and you could tell she was definetly going to miss her BFF. And actually the only scene I cried at was the one when Peyton was leaving the house, and Brooke was in bed, and then I saw the bruises on her body and the hurt look on her face like she tried to avoid loneliness now that Peyton was moving on… Also I thoght it was well acted… I just loved the look on Sophia’s face, that scene was heartbreaking, it didn’t need any tears or sobs… just silence. She was silently missing her best friend.

Noemy – I did pick up on every scene, look, comment, etc. you mentioned from Peyton last night, but I’m having a hard time with this episode and with how the writer’s wrote Peyton. I do not believe that she would not have pressed the issue, especially after going through what she did with Psycho Derek. I don’t think she would have let it go, seeing Brooke beaten up like that, it’s just not plausible. I understand that people think she did realize something was wrong and is giving Brooke space until she’s ready to come to her, but that’s like seeing a bone sticking out of your friend’s arm and not taking her to the ER because she’s not ready…hello she could clearly see her friend had been beaten up….punched out eyes, bloody lip, cut on the face and bruises around the neck = beaten up….and you don’t press the issue or at least postpone moving out because you can cleary see that something bad just happened to your best friend based on her looks and how sad she was acting? Shame on the writers for writing Peyton that way last night, it was just very disappointing to me.

You do have a good point Dee, but I guess Brooke needs to heal her soul first, and she has to do that alone. She needs to find that strenght in herself and keep fighting. Emotionally she is destroyed, and she needs something to believe in. Cause she’s barely breathing. So she needs something to keep breathing for. That’s why Peyton thanked her for being a good friend. And told her she’s got great friends, a great life, great karma. And in the next episode hopefully we’ll see more BP scenes. But yes I did expect more from Peyton, especially since she had her very own psycho stalker, and knows how difficult this is both emotionally and physically. It’s just that it seems like Brooke’s pushing her away. And what’s shocking me more is the fact that Brooke hides something so important from Peyton and then questions her friendship with her. If she needs emotional support she should come to Peyton, we all know Peyton won’t let her down. She’ll be there for her best friend.

haha oh my gosh… one tree hill is not starting to “deteriorate” JUST because Brucas isn’t together. They haven’t been together for a WHILE now and the show is doing just fine! ratings are higher than ever and with Leyton together… the show is finally making sense for once! i’m sorry that you Brucas fans can’t be mature about the situation, and feel the need to stop watching the show just because Lucas isn’t with Brooke, but that doesn’t mean that there’s anything wrong with the show! Mark knew that whoever Lucas picked, he was going to disappoint fans one way or another… that’s just part of it. You can like Brucas all you want but there’s no way anyone can sincerely say that Lucas and Peyton aren’t meant to be… because everybody knows they are whether they’re mature enough to admit it or not. and i totally agree with what other Leyton fans have said… Lucas and Peyton are BOTH finally happy and they deserve that! I dont know Noemy, I could never ever leave my best friend/roomate the day afer finding her in that physical and emotional condition. Even if I could see that she was hiding something or pushing me away, that’s all the more reason to stick around, it’s obvious something is wrong and your friend is in bad shape, she may need you there even if it’s for a few more days or a week or until she opens up about it. Maybe Brooke realizes this and questions her friendship with Peyton, regardless that she isn’t telling Peyton what happened, she probably realizes Peyton should just know that something is wrong or could have stuck with her a bit longer. Considering all that Brooke did for Peyton to help her out of her funk last season, her actions last night make her appear to be ungrateful. And yes she did thank Brooke for being a good friend and had kind words to say to her in the sofa scene, but sometimes actions speak louder than words….it’s very sad!

i’m sorry but i don’t feel sorry for Brooke. I mean i feel sorry for her because of the attack or whatever… but not about the Peyton thing. Peyton isn’t psychic, if Brooke wants Peyton to know what is wrong, and wants her help then she needs to tell her the truth. Obviously Peyton knows that something is up because she keeps trying to get a hold of her and everything… but if Brooke isn’t willing to tell anyone what happened then she’s bringing it on herself. she can’t blame Peyton for leaving when all that Brooke told her was that she “fell down the stairs”. If i was in Peyton’s shoes, i would probably be doing the exact same thing, i wouldn’t stick around if my roommate told me that she fell down the stairs and that she’s fine. Ummm Brooke didn’t look fine to me LOL LOL…geesh her face was a bruised bloody mess, she couldn’t even hug Peyton due to pain and she leaves, regardless if Brooke told her what happened or not, you would think a friend would stick around for a few days just to make sure her friend was physically okay, you know just in case she oh I don’t know passes out from “having fallen on her face down a flight of stairs” or needs some help. Brooke could have been lying dead in her bed and her “friend” would not have even figured it out….you live in the same house and you don’t know your friend is in the house in bed? And don’t even tell me she walked to work and took a cab back or parked her car around the corner to hide it from Peyton….lame LAME excuses. And if my friend did just fall down a flight of stairs and ended up injured like that and I could not reach her by phone all day, I would make it a point to go out and look for her to make sure she was okay. Just make a little effort, you know more than just a sofa chat over ice cream. I think she could have at least made more of an effort and “stuck around” for more than ONE DAY!!! What a loser!

Peyton had tried her best to be there for Brooke but if Brooke is not willing to open up to her Peyton can’t do nothing about it…
When Brooke will decide to open up Peyton will be there for her but until then Peyton did everything a bestfriend could do to help her bestfriend.

By the way I know it sucks… BUT Peyton have the right to keep on living her life even if her bestfriend is in a darkplace … she have to right to be happy and in love.
it’s like some people wants Peyton to be depress and cry with Brooke but some people hate Peyton because she’s always crying and depress so whatever Peyton do these people will hate her … but when it comes to Brooke oh yeah Peyton can be depress and cry it’s for Brooke well being. If I was in a dark place I wouldn,t want my bestfriend to watch over me 24/7 I would want her happy. Seeing your bestfriend depress is really depressing it’s hard emotionaly. I know some people will say I’M crazy for saying this but let her be Brooke needs to come out of her dark place by herself she needs to fight and have the strengh to do it alone cause if people is behind her and try to make her do things that she’s not ready to do it won’t work. When you are in a dark place you need to step out of it by your own. No matter what people want you to do or say to you will not change it. The only think Brooke needs is a shoulder to cry on. Peyton gave her but Brooke is avoid her sooo P. Sawyer can’t force B. IF she’s not ready she’s not ready.

PS : I just wanted to add B doesn,t want to tell P because she knows the moment B tell P. P. SAwyer will do something about it and would want to kick her mom ASS.
AND B knows it and she’s not telling her because SHE wants to do it Herself she’s gonna get herself back on track and B. will get her revenge by JUSTICE. ( hope my last sentence make sense lol).

i think peyton and lucas do have chemistry i just dont really like them together. thats only my opinion. I think its really sad that peyton is leaving brooke. it made me cry so hard i realize she has to move in with lucas eventually its just sad that she had to leave brooke. I cant believe she didnt tell peyton what happened! brooke just looked so sad during the whole episode it was hard to watch. dan and carrie is getting a little old. So this isn’t meant to offend anyone or cause any fights but it sort of bugs me…well actually it really bugs me that leyton fans keep saying how disrepectful and rude brucas fans can be…yes there are some disrepectful and rude brucas fans but there are also disrepectful and rude leyton fans…just because our couple isn’t together doesn’t mean you should bash us because we have faith that they could be together again…if this was a reverse situation would you want brucas fans saying “leyton fans just get over yourselves! lucas and peyton have moved on it’s time to let it go just get over it and grow up”…obviously not…both sides are equally passionate about their couple and both sides can be equally as rude…I think telling someone their stupid or whatever because they still believe their couple will end up together is completely ridiculious(sp)…Leyton fans when Brucas was together in season 1(before the whole triangle cheating thing),season 2 (because Lucas loved Brooke), and season 3 were you not routing for Leyton to get back together? Yes I am aware their are Brucas fans who say really inappropriate things to Leyton fans, but guys c’mon reading some of the posts up there ^ there’s a lot of Brucas fan bashing. I think that’s what people who be focusing on…not who Lucas will ultimately end up with. It’s not like it’s writen in stone that Lucas and Peyton will be together.

Yes it does look this way now (and yes part of me does believe they’ll be together for good) but the other (and more stronger) part of me has to question it. Based on simple fact that Lucas said “it’s a long story” about if he loved Brooke. Well what’s so long about it? Yes there’s a complicated history behind it but he did love her. A simple answer would have been “Yes Jamie I loved her a long time ago but now we’re just friends” So why say it’s a long story? Maybe because feelings could still be there? I think so.

But back to my original reason for posting…I think fans of both sides should just respect what everyone has to say. Even people who say things like season 5 sucked and 6 is going to be just as bad should be respected. It’s their opinion. Who cares if it’s different than what you believe. It’s not fair to try and say your ideas, opinions, and beliefs are better than someone else’s. And basically by disrespecting them that’s what you’re saying. There’s enough hate in this world already, people shouldn’t be hating each other over a tv show and a tv couple (even if you do really love them). That’s all I had to say. I hope I didn’t offend anyone. I’m just sick of reading people saying negative things to each other.

okay… first of all… as long as there are Brucas fans out there that are bashing Leyton… i’m going to continue bashing Brucas as much as i want to. and yes in the earlier seasons when Lucas was with Brooke, ofcourse i was still hoping for him to get back together with Peyton. BUT there’s a big difference between Leyton fans having hope back then, and Brucas fans having hope now… Leyton’s love was actually relevant back then and it actually would have made sense for them to get back together… unlike Brucas now! and i haven’t disrespected anyone unless they disrespect Leyton fans first… all i’ve done is state my opinion about Leyton vs. Brucas just like everybody else has. Lets just take a minute to look at the FACTS here:

1. Lucas has proposed to Peyton not once, but TWICE
2. Lucas has written not just one book about his love for Peyton, but TWO
3. Lucas cheated on both Brooke AND Lindsey with PEYTON… they can’t stay away from eachother!
4. Lucas NEVER cheated on Peyton with anybody
5. He wrote in his first novel “at that moment my triumph was not a state championship, but simple clarity. the realization that we HAD ALWAYS BEEN MEANT FOR EACHOTHER, and EVERY INSTINCT TO THE CONTRARY had simply been a DENIAL of the following truth, i was now and would always be in love with Peyton Sawyer.” …. every instinct to the contrary INCLUDES HIM AND BROOKE!
6. “You didn’t just happen to save her a few times, Peyton happened to be there. But you CHOSE to be there.” -Skills to Lucas about PEYTON
7. Mark himself has said that since the PILOT, they have created a world where Lucas and PEYTON are meant to be
8. Mark also said that the triangle is “romantically OVER”!
9. Lucas and Brooke ended things in season 4 BOTH acknowledging that when Whitey was making his speech about his love for his wife… he WASN’T talking about the love that Brucas had!
10. “It has ALWAYS been Lucas and Peyton. You guys are meant to be together it’s the way it’s supposed to be.” -BROOKE’S words to Peyton!
11. Brucas fans go on and on about Lucas saying “i’m the guy for you Brooke Davis”… but you seem to forget that he TOOK IT BACK, and said “i was wrong, i’m NOT the guy for you Brooke Davis”, because Brooke was selfish and wanted him to fight for her, when she wouldn’t do the same for him
12. His love for her freakin kept him from dying! in season 4 after he had his heart attack he told her “you didn’t push me away, i came back for you.”

i could go ON AND ON with more reasons that Brucas is over… no one can deny any of those things because they are all FACTS that are supported by the show! so Brucas fans can have all the hope/faith that they want, but if they go on and on about how Brucas makes more sense than Leyton in the show NOW, then no i’m not going to sit back and listen to that because it’s crap

Ok. I’m a Brucas fan because I just like them together better. I’m not gonna b**** and moan about how they aren’t together because CLEARLY this is just a show meant to entertain us, but honestly you can’t blame people for wanting what they want. If having Brucas back together means a more entertaining show for some of us then that’s what we want and hope for. Personally, I just like Brookes character in general and I’m happy when I get to see an interesting story line with her and when the show isn’t all about Peyton and her issues. But like many people have said numerous times on this blog, that’s my opinion and I’m entitled to one. Can’t wait for next Monday.

Mark is destroying his show by adding extra seasons. Virtually it is the same stuff only presented differently. I thought this show was about Lucas. So far this season its everyone but Lucas. I know this a pro-leyton site, but what season was the best? Season 2, it brought the most viewers. It even got a 2 hour season finale, because everyone wanted to see what happened between Lucas and Brooke. Lucas character was so pure and honest during that season. The best chemistry was between Lucas and Brooke. No matter what happens this season or the next or the past couple seasons, season 2 will always be the best because each character did there job and played themselves. Brooke and Lucas made season 2. If you watch this season compared to others it is not as cheesy. Everyone on the show did their job and made it amazing.

season 2 had no basketball and too many caracters
I didn’t like that season
The only thing I liked on that season
was
Jeyton sex scene,
Brucas at the wedding
Kandy relationship
Leyton hug at the end of the season
Pathan friendship
but other than that
this season was not the best at all
that season was the one I thought to myself am I watching oth ? or a different show.
I need BB and that season had none.
Lucas s2 was confuse just like in s5 to me well like in s3 and a part of s4
well the only time Lucas was really honest with himself is when he wrote is first book.

But I get why you love that season I do. If I was a Brucasfan I would have like it probably too thought I would have love s3 more.

ok so I’m new to this but if been reading and wanted to share my opinion, I’m not bashing anyone and I’m not a die hard brucas or leyton fan but I def think that Lucas and Peyton make more sense together..I don’t think Brooke and Lucas were ever great together, it was mostly just sex that kept them together and they both understood they were meant to be, even during the flash forward in the dirse episode of the season Lucas really didn’t seem to happy with his life with Brooke, he was saying how he missed home and never got to see jamie an just didn’t seem very enthused to me..moving forward, I Dont think Peyton is a bad friend at all, all of people are saying she left after a day but in the same sense it’s only been a day, give her a chance to be a good friend, if Brooke doesn’t want to open up to her then there is nothing she can do about that because Brooke made up her mind, she called her and tried to talk to her, I think it would be worse I’d she tried to force Brooke to open up but she assured her that they were bff and she was there for her, just because she is moving in with luke doesn’t mean she won’t see Brooke all the time, and with the whole not knowing she was in the bedroom that is completely possible, I have a big house and I seriously go days without seeing my bother because we have different schedules and with people saying oh but she thinks Brooke fell down the stairs, my brother is a cop and a firefighter and even when I don’t see him I don’t think much of it lol regardless I def feel terrible for Brooke but I think Sophia is the best person to take on this storyline..I thought the little nathan intervention was funny, deb cracks me up but I hope try aren’t hinting at anything negative for nate’s comeback..and why q?! I love q, he’s so hot and he was finally showing everyone he was a good guy, unfortunately I read the spoilers and the whole time I was anticipating it so it was so much sadder and he looked so scared at the gas station..lastly, on to my favorite character, dan<3 I know I’m weird but I’m seriously in love with him lol I just think he’s so funny that someone is torturing him and is already threateninh to kill him and he starts mocking her, he cracks me up and I hope he beats carrie’s ass and keeps her away from jamie cus that boy is too cute and I’m going to feel so bad for him next episode, him and q were cute, I loved when they danced aww in conclusion I want dan and Brooke to fight back and kick ass, yay for leyton, and I want naley to adopt me =)

this eposide was good and sad all at the same time. it was good because lucas and peyton finally went back to tree hill to share the news of their wedding and everyone is happy. it was sweet how peyton was consoling brooke the same way brook did with peyton. i think peyton doesn’t believe brooke about the stairs but doesn’t want to push her. because she might feel that if she pushes her she might close herself. (which will not be good) the sad part was when q saw the clerk and turned around. his face of fear was just so sad, he knew what was going to happen. it was just so sad. can’t wait till next eposide where will get to see q lil bro.

You are completely right about “Leyton” being rediculous. Ya this is a show and all, but common…
The only reason Peyton is still on her two feet is because of Brook. She is so much stronger and she did it regardless of all of her hardships. Everyone always here’s about poor Peyton and her sad life without Lucas. But Brook never makes people take pity on her even though she doesn’t have it easy either. Show aside, when it comes to who DESERVES Lucas more, it’s Brook. And I still have faith it will happen. And Brucas fan, don’t worry… I wont be watching the show either. I am reading these recaps because I am on strike from giving Leyton my ratings! hahaha

first of all Brucas!, who “deserves” Lucas more really has nothing to do with who he’s with, or who he should be with. he picked PEYTON, plain and simple. he had his chance to call Brooke at that airport.. but he didn’t. he called PEYTON because she is the one that makes him happy, and she is the one that he truly loves and wants to be with. and secondly, Peyton has done nothing to show that she doesn’t deserve to be with Lucas. how she’s handled the problems in her past (dead moms, stalker, shooting) and how weak she is has nothing to do with her and Lucas. just because you may think that she isn’t as strong as Brooke is, that doesn’t mean in the least that her and Lucas shouldn’t be together. you can have all the faith that you want, but if you’ve seen the recent interview posted on here with Mark talking about Lucas’ choice… i think it’s pretty clear that LEYTON will be endgame, as they should be

understandable… i can’t blame Brucas fans for having their own favorites and having their faith, because i know that being a die hard Leyton fan, i would never give up on my Leyton faith if the roles were reversed. but i think it’s pretty clear now at this point in the show, and after all these recent interviews with Mark have been released, that Leyton is going to be endgame. and you can’t blame us Leyton fans for getting kind of annoyed with how some Brucas fans are reacting to it. as i said before, i would still have my Leyton faith if all of this stuff by Mark was being said about Brucas… but i wouldn’t be posting about Leyton getting back together and some of the other absurd comments that Brucas fans have been posting about Brucas reuniting. because there comes a time where you just have to stop being in denial and face the facts ya know? i don’t know.. that’s just me
