Mark is funny. Thanks for being vague, lol! So basically, it will happen and go smoothly or messy, or LP might just go all the way with out any drama. But see Mark you are bringing in Julian so LP wedding is going to happen but there will be some road bumps I guess.. But I do like him being vague, really didn’t say much we didn’t know. lol!

And yes, let them please have the easiest, smoothest route possible.
That would be so good for them, and Mark is only saying maybe because that’s one of the staple storylines of the season, so he doesn’t want to give it away so fast.. But he knows and we all know that of course the wedding will work out!

okay… and i’m not just saying this because i’m a leyton fan… but what on earth would be the point of the whole SECOND proposal if they weren’t going to go through with the wedding?? Leyton has already had ONE proposal gone wrong… why would the show give them TWO?? that would just be dumb and a waste of time. AND Lucas has already had ONE engagement/wedding gone wrong with Lindsey… so why would they give him ANOTHER one with Peyton? that would just seem like too much for them to give to Lucas’ character… and overall just very unrealistic. clearly because of the Julian thing we know that Leyton is going to have some obstacles, but i have no doubt that there will be a wedding!

laura, i’m not sure if you’re referring to Leyton or Brucas when you talk about their “high school love”… but i will say that just because not many people DO marry their high school love, that doesn’t mean that it CAN’T happen. Which is why LEYTON will be the couple in the end, because their love actually survived PAST high school, unlike Brucas’ love. and tanya, i agree with you about Brucas being over! i’m glad one of us actually has the guts to be that blunt about it! ha GO LEYTON

because him and Lindsey are clearly still friends, and Lindsey was his editor for the book, so maybe he feels like this is kind of a way to pay her back and say thank you, you know? maybe he just thinks she would be perfect for one of the parts. i’m not worried about Lindsey at all, even if Lucas did want her back (which as of right now i don’t see happening), do you honestly think Lindsey would to back to him now, after Lindsey spent all of season 5 telling Lucas that she knows he still loves Peyton, then she finds out that he went and proposed to her AGAIN after Lindsey left him? i don’t think so… Leyton should be fine! Mark has said for a while now that Michaela is a terrific actress, and they love having her be a part of the show, so Mark is clearly a fan of her, maybe they just wanted her to stick around… that doesn’t necessarily mean that she has to come between Leyton

just to add on to what LeytonTLA was saying about Lindsey being a part of the movie… MAYBE he is just using that as an excuse to work with Lindsey again! i mean i know the chances of Lindcas happening again are slim to none… but i do agree that it’s a little odd that he would want his editor to be in his movie. i mean just because she helped him with the book, that doesn’t make her an actress ya know?

and did you see in the last episode when he was leaving the bar, after Lindsey said “bye Lucas”, he just kinda arched his eyebrow and gave her a “we’ll see about that” kind of look?? i don’t know… it looked to me like he already had it in his head that he wanted to see her again. DON’T yell at me for saying this… it’s just my opinion… but i have a small feeling that we haven’t seen the end of Lindcas.

they just ended too suddenly. they were together for TWO YEARS, you can’t just forget about someone who has been a part of your life for that long. AND everyone keeps forgetting that he said “I DO” to Lindsey at the alter! yes he might have proposed to her out of denial… but come on… he does have a mind of his own. proposing for the wrong reason is one thing, but you don’t say “i do” unless you really want to marry someone! even Lucas isn’t that stupid!

just because he said “i do” doesn’t change the fact that he was still in love with Peyton… just look at how Lucas even proposed to Lindsey… give me a break. he proposed to her MINUTES after he KISSED PEYTON. i know he really loved Lindsey, but rushing into proposing to her like that after he kissed Peyton was just dumb. THEN after Peyton confronted Lucas in the gym and said that she has always loved him, and as hard as it’s going to be, she was willing to sacrifice her happiness so that he could be happy, then THAT night he goes home to Lindsey and says “lets get married right away”… i’m sorry but come on, it was so obvious that he was just running from his feelings. so no, just because Lucas said “i do” to Lindsey, doesn’t mean he did it 100% for the right reasons. The writers brought “the comet” up in that episode for a reason, because that is where Lucas’ heart really was

no i wasn’t talking about the proposal… i said myself that he proposed for the wrong reason. what i was saying is that it’s one thing for someone to propose to someone out of denial… but no one would say “i do” to someone if they didn’t want to marry them. you can talk about the proposal all you want to, but that’s not the point i was trying to make. if you say i do to someone at the alter… obviously you love them and want to spend your life with them. no one would go up there and agree to marry someone as a way to hide. that’s the stupidest thing i’ve ever heard.

yes it does have a point… him saying “i do” to Lindsey shows that he wanted to marry her!!!!! what do you not see about that?? and he called Peyton because he was confused and overwhelmed, and wanted to be done with this mess. it’s a guy who is going to be the producer for Lucas’ movie, you probably already know that. but him and Peyton just slept together in LA after she saw Lucas with Lindsey at the book signing. i HIGHLY doubt they had a baby lol
