It was after they broke up… they hadn’t talked in a while and Lucas called her before to ask her to go to his signing in L.A he didn’t see her there but she really was there, but Lucas never saw her Then she left upset… I think she was wearing something pink or a pink dress haha i’ll have to watch the epsiode to see!

Okay, maybe this is only me, but…
When Deb hit Carrie in the face with the champagne bottle, and she fell backwards, did anyone else find that unbelievably hilarious?

If you didn’t fully catch it, re-watch her fall.. I had to rewind it at least 5 times after it was over to see that again.
It’s hysterical. Her legs just fly up. Hahahahaaha

When Nathan called her cell, I was like “Nathan, great work, now you can’t play and you’re about to get your wife killed and your child abducted. Way to go, champ!”

The whole episode was incredible, I was applauding at the end. And is it weird that at one point, Dan looked kind of hot? Right before he said “God I hate the woods.”

Mark is so sneaky!!! SO Peyton hooks up with Julian aftet she leaves the book signing thinking that Lucas is already with Lindsay. Hence, Lucas hooks up with Lindsay thinking that Peyton didn’t show up to the signing.
I think this will be good for Leyton…hopefully anyway. I am a little scared but I believe that Leyton will be endgame, they have to be. Like I said on an earlier post, if Leyton breaks up now there is NO WAY that they could be friends. Mark is not going to end this show with 2 of the core 5 not getting along, right? So Leyton will be endgame for sure. Rejoice Leytoners, it will happen!!!!!!!

And if you notice, that flashback was the only time all season five we saw Peyton in really light clothing. She was wearing the pretty yellow dress and her hair was demure, almost virginal.

Then she saw Lucas with Lindsey and her life took a different turn. Her relationship with Julian might have even been a bit destructive. And after it ended maybe she turned completely to work leaving relationships behind. Only when she realized work wasn’t fullfilling the ache inside her does she know in her heart she could only truly be happy returning home to Tree Hill and to Lucas.

Wow, I’m about to sound like a total bitch, and I love you Denise, but the dress was pink. Hahahaha, that was not meant to be mean at all, I just have a tendency to correct people.

And yes, nothing bad will come of this. $10 says this is how it plays out:
Luke is going to become threatened and mad jealous of Julian, who is going to enjoy making him squirm. Julian will make more and more meetings where Peyton has to attend, so they can “analyze” the character more. Peyton is going to see him in private, and tell him to get the hell out of here, and to leave them alone. Julian is going to kiss her and say something predictable like “I haven’t been able to get you out of my head since that day back in LA” and she’ll slap him and tell him that she has never been happier than she is right now with Luke and that he (being Julian) meant nothing to her, and still means nothing, but that they can be friends if he can handle that. Lucas will find out, and either fire Julian, cancel the movie, or marry Peyton sooner. That’s when Julian will realize that no matter how hard he tries he can’t come between them, and leave.

Just my guess.

No worries. I just know all of the nuiances of Peyton’s key scenes and knew the dress was yellow. It symolized brightness coming back into her life when Lucas called and she went back to her typical dark clothing after seeing Lucas with Lindsey.

LPthecomet—-that sounds like a perfect scenario to me! Lucas will definelty want to marry her faster. But there is no need to rush, she will always be attached to Lucas, no one will come in between them. That has been proven time and time again. But the new cool spin on this is that we have never seen this type of spin. Unless you count the very beginning when Peyton was with Nathan. But usually it is Lucas with someone else and Peyton is waiting in the wings for him. SO this will be interesting!!!

I agree Dee, a little scary!!! But it does kind of make sense. I was not big on Peyton’s wardrobe last season, but this season it seems more back to how she used to dress. So I think Denise is leading to something. Last season Peyton was dressing rather dark and kind of weird(IMO) but this season she is back to how she used to dress, still a little dark to fit her character but with some light. Like she wore the black jeans and vest but put on a white shirt. Very cute. So I see what Denise is getting at. Peyton is a happier person now and it shows in her dress atire. You have to remember that Mark LOVES Peyton’s character so he always does extra stuff with her. Also with luke. I like how Luke is dressing theis season to. Has anyone else noticed that?? He is dressing more like he used to. But I have always thought that Luke dressed to fit the girl he is with. Am I crazy or does anyone else notice that>??

I agree Lucas dresses to fit the girl he is with. It was never more evident then in the dream sequences in 601. New York chic with Brooke, down to earth jeans and t-shirt with Peyton and preppy tennis attire with Lindsey.

And he seems to be more the old “real” Lucas now that he is back with Peyton.

Dee–you have never noticed that Lucas’s attire changes with each girl?? Look at season 4. Look at the difference before he is with Peyton and after. He is dressed more like her. I know we are scary but it does make sense! And the dream seq. is a good example.

So, how about this for a Julian introduction flashback:

She had waited, worried and fretted over seeing him all day. She had chosen her outfit carefully. A pale yellow dress she had bought ages ago but never felt like wearing. It was tucked in the back of her closet, but when he called to ask her to his book signing, she knew she finally felt like wearing it.

Now she stared down at the offending garment and cursed its existence. She had to remind herself to breath as she stepped out onto the busy sidewalk. People brushed by her, so busy in their own lives, cell phones stuck to their ears, or lost in their own thoughts.

Why had he called? She was doing okay, or at least pretending to be okay. It hurt more then she cared to admit to wake up in that big bed alone in that hotel room. Waking, hoping he had just stepped out only to realize his suitcase was gone, and the mixed CD she had so carefully put together for him, lying beside her.

And then hope sprang again when he called her out of the blue. Come to my book signing, I want to see you he had told her. She was so proud of him when she walked into the crowded books store and saw all the people there to see him. And then she saw him – Lucas Scott, the love of her life, just as handsome as she remembered, but part of the boyish features replaced by the maturity of a man. She hesitantly walked toward him, rehearsing over and over in her mind what she would say, when she saw her. The tall, mature and confident woman beside him, and then she leaned in and kissed him. It was then Peyton began having trouble breathing. Watching her dreams, her life, pass before her eyes.

Why was she such a fool to believe he would not have someone in his life? He had moved on and she had stood still. She quickly backed away from him and walked out of the bookstore.

So, here she was on the streets of LA. It was where all her dreams were supposed to come true, but it was a nightmare. She walked briskly down the street and passed a trendy bar. Peyton rarely drank but at this moment it was all she could think of. Drowning her sorrows, erasing the past, she had to stop living in what could have been. She had to face her future without Lucas Scott. He had found one without Peyton Sawyer.

She sat at the bar and quickly ordered a drink. The bartender sat it down before her and she stared at it.

“You gonna’ drink that or just stare at it,” a voice beside her said.

Peyton turned to see a well-dressed man sitting beside her. He twirled the glass of his own drink and the ice clinked together as he did.

“Me?” He said as he lifted his glass. “I am celebrating closing my first movie deal.” He gave her a wide toothy grin.

“How about you?” He continued. “Let me guess, drowning your sorrows?”

“Something like that,” Peyton replied. She turned back to her drink and picked up the glass draining the contents.

“Wow,” she heard the man say. “A girl after my own heart.”

He moved closer to her, taking up residence in the bar stool next to her. “The name is Julian.” He held out his hand to her.

Peyton wasn’t going to give him her name but she suddenly had a what the hell attitude. How much longer did she have to put her life on hold for Lucas Scott?

“Peyton,” she said taking his hand.

“How about we do a little drinking,” Julian asked her. “You can help me celebrate and I can help you get over your sorrows.”

“Maybe you can,” Peyton said as she gave him a slight smile. “Maybe you can.”

So I’ve kind of had a scenario in my head since we heard about the whole Julian thing. What if Peyton and Julian had an on again/off again when it’s convenient kind of relationship from the time that they met at the book signing until she left LA. And taking it one further what if she just left LA and didn’t tell Julian anything about her leaving or where she was going since they weren’t serious and maybe he was off making a movie at the time. So then he remembers her obsession with Lucas’ book figures that she she went home and then decides to option the book in order to get close to Peyton again. Like the book is good but his main motivation is Peyton. Maybe they even have a heart to heart where Julian confesses he misses her and wants her back and is willing to commit to their relationship if she’ll go back with him. Of course Peyton will say thanks but no thanks but it’ll give her pause and it will motivate Lucas to get that ring on her finger.

So what do you guys think? Possible?

so what if it was not Peyton that broke up with Julian, I like Peyton but the truth is she falls hard and fast for guys. Looking for someone to stick in her life. So if she really thought that Lucas had indeed moved it is not unheard of that she could have fallen into a serious relationship. She is not the one that leaves, people leave her. That is well documented. Idk if she ever gave up on a relationship, so.. what if it was Julian that broke up with her in L.A. around the same time she told her boss to go to hell. Peyton decides to start again calls her girl and goes home. Julian is now down on his luck and needs a new deal, remembers Peyton, and Lucas’ book and follows Peyton’s trail to get the movie.

All of that said, I don’t think that Lucas will be mad, Jealous maybe, really jealous if this guy thinks that Peyton is part of the movie deal he is striking with Luke! I don’t think Luke would like his Peyton to be sampled by this scum. I think if my senerio is true it will just remind Luke just how fragile his Peyton is and how much she needs him, someone steady, strong and hot!!!!!!!!!! what I am trying to say is that it’S totaly rebound and the guy made her realize she was still in love with LUcas and she can’t keep hidding like this. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh this guy is a “coquin”. He didn’t want to miss out on the chance to make out with her so he didn’t wear a necklace until s4!!! hahhaha. In s4 he wore a necklace to be sure he had an excuse to stay on top of Peyton! Ouf I’m crazy tonight!!!
