So I guess I’m the only one with an opposing view here but I don’t Brooke should be with Own cause he just kinda was like see ya when she went after what she wanted. I understand the whole girl says baby guy says byebye thing and they had just met but she had been wanting a family for awhile and I don’t think she should change what she wants just to get a guy. So unless he has changed his view, I’m not liking it. But they would make some pretty cute babies!

bia, i’m not quite sure what your point was with that comment lol. the only time all of us “LeytonTLAers” start saying that we shouldn’t be arguing… is when we ARE ARGUING. we don’t say that after every single Brucas comment like you say we do. and lets face it… a lot of the time when (SOME) Brucas fans do make a comment, it’s usually insulting Leyton in a rude way, which ofcourse will start fights. so we’re not being hypocrites at all, we just know how to have regular discussions, as opposed to a lot of (NOT ALL) Brucas fans. like i said before, usually when we hear a comment from certain Brucas fans, it’s a nasty comment that starts fights, so ofcourse people are going to step in and say that there’s no need for that. Us Leytoners don’t do that… all we do is talk about Leyton and there’s nothing wrong with that… we don’t go out of our way to insult the other ship like some Brucasers do. there are ways to talk about Brucas without insulting Leyton… and there are only a few Brucas fans on here that have shown us that same respect that us Leytoners try to show Brucasers

tottally off topic but you know what i would love to see happen. Brooke and lucas cheat. peyton forgives them both and lucas wins peyton back, and brooke tells peyton that they wont hurt her agin. so then brooke tells peyton that she loves lucas and doesnt believe that peyton loves lucas. then after this peyton finds out that brooke kissed lucas( right after she wassohonest about her feelings) then peyton gets scared of getting hurt by the two people she loves the most,that hurt her before, so she breaks up with lucas.So after this brooke spends all her free time with lucas becuase she has no other friends and even though it might not look good to peyton, she doesnt seem to care, in fact she should really make comments about them having sex,because what reason does peyton have to be insecure or hurt right. okay so 4 years later brooke should ask peyton to make her wedding dress.god now that is an EPIC LOVE STORY. i can see what you’re saying AlwaysBRUCAS, but i honestly can’t see that happening… the show is bringing Owen back for a reason, to show that Brooke has moved on. ofcourse i think Brooke and Lucas will always love eachother, i just think that one of them still being IN LOVE with the other is a little far fetched at this point. in the show, Brucas hasn’t been together or romantically involved at all in atleast 5 years. in my opinion, for one of them to STILL be in love with the other when they haven’t had ANY romance between them in over 5 years is too unrealistic… i think they have just both moved on, and that’s why they’re bringing Owen back for Brooke. oreo5228… when it comes to Leyton and Brucas, there’s a big difference in 3 and 5 years. the difference is that during the 3 years that Leyton was apart, they still wanted eachother, and still thought about eachother. When Lucas went to LA for his book signing some time after he left Peyton, he was still thinking about her and still wanted to see her at the signing… and Peyton clearly was still thinking about him too otherwise she wouldn’t have been so down when she saw him with Lindsey at the signing. even right after Lucas left her, we saw how hurt and lost they both were without eachother… with Peyton being so upset at work, and Lucas telling Brooke that he felt lost and didn’t know what to do without Peyton. We didn’t see any of that with Brucas, once they were done, they were done… we didn’t see any of that holding on like we saw with Leyton. so the difference is that we got 5+ consistant years of Brucas being completely romantically over… as opposed to Leyton’s 3 years when they were still holding on to eachother.
and AGAIN, as far as Brucas not being together because of Chad and Sophia’s divorce… i don’t really see why anyone would say that, when in NUMEROUS interviews (including recent ones), Mark has said that Leyton is the couple he has wanted since day 1, and that since the PILOT, they have designed a world where Lucas and Peyton are meant to be… so i think that sums it up, and tells us that Leyton would be together whether Chad and Sophia got divorced or not… because they are the couple that Mark wants, and the couple that he has always known that he has wanted

okay you all keep saying that Peyton hasn’t done anything to help Brooke… but think about it… when has Brooke ever really needed help?? Peyton has been the one in the show that has had the majority of the problems, so ofcourse we’re going to see more of Brooke helping Peyton. the only thing bad that Peyton has done to Brooke was kiss Lucas in the hotel room in season 1… yeah she kissed Lucas in the library.. but i don’t really think that was that big of a deal (she thought she was going to DIE, i probably would have done the same thing). but just because she was in the wrong by kissing Lucas in high school i don’t think that’s reason enough to call her such an awful friend NOW. Brooke wasn’t all that great of a friend to Peyton either because she not only slept with Nathan MINUTES after him and Peyton “broke up” (which was just a joke, i don’t care if they were technically broken up or not, they had just broken up minutes before, so clearly there were still feelings involved), but also by not being honest with her about it. these friendship issues are from sooo long ago, i just don’t really see the point in rehashing them. everybody has issues with their friends in high school… so what? Brooke and Peyton have both moved on, and are fine now and that’s what matters.

first of all… whether Brooke was a “different” person or not… it DOES count. it doesn’t matter what kind of person Brooke was, what matters is that her and Peyton were still FRIENDS. so even if she “was a different person” back then, that doesn’t make what she did to her friend right. and AGAIN, yes Peyton did tell Brooke that she wouldn’t hurt her again… but ALL Peyton did was be honest with Brooke and tell her that she still has feelings for Lucas. You know, I’ve been reading everyone’s comments and I gotta tell you this site is getting so disappointing. These ship wars have taken away from what the site was set out to be. Some of you guys have gotten out and out mean and rude to one another just because you have different opinions. I mayself adore Leyton but I adore Brooke and Naley as well. So no matter who Lucas, Peyton and Brooke end up with, I just want them all to be happy in the end. So as far as I can see, at the end of the day it doesn’t matter who you ship. Mark is going to write what he feels the storyline should be. There has been lots of dishonesty, cheating and hurting each other by all the characters. Not just Lucas, not just Peyton, not just Brooke. But they all got past that. If you really want to drudge things up, then start at season 1 and work your way through. You will see it wasn’t just Lucas and Peyton. No one has ever brought up that Brooke knew at the very beginning of season 1 that Lucas liked Peyton. Even after knowing this, she turned around at the party at Nathan’s house and lied to both Nathan and Peyton (telling them both that the other wanted to get back together) in an effort to keep Lucas and Peyton apart because she wanted Lucas for herself. She went so far as to play the I dare game and then to reading Haley’s note and telling Haley that Nathan shared it with all of them. It really doesn’t matter that that was the old Brooke. She still hurt people. Even after the so called new Brooke came into play, she lied to Haley’s face about the calculas test because she wanted to graduate and didn’t want to lose her clothing line. So I can see throughout the show where each of them has done selfish things. Haley with her music, Nathan with his game, Lucas with Peyton and vice versa. They didn’t do it to hurt anyone but no matter how you spin it, it did. That’s just life. It’s wrong but it happens. So at this point they’ve all grown and gotten past it and still remain good friends. They are all happy about Lucas and Peyton even Brooke so what I don’t understand is why the bickering back and forth. If the characters are okay with it, then why aren’t the fans. When Mark is ready for Lucas and Brooke to interact, I’m sure there will be plenty of it. When it’s time for Brooke to reveal to her friends what happened to her, it will happen. This is only the beginning of the season granted I’d hoped she would have said something by now but since she hasn’t we just have to wait and stop critcizing the characters for not being what we feel they should be. Honestly I don’t agree with some of the things they’ve each done, but hey it’s just a show and since I like the show I got past it and wait every week for the next episode. To me that’s why OTH is good. The drama keeps bringing you back. So people please let’s stop all this and just get back to seeing the spoilers and awaiting the next episode.

Sharon i agree about the “ship wars”… however i don’t think there’s anything wrong with having normal discussions about it, as long as it’s not fighting. whether we like it or not, the triangle has played a HUGE part of the show, so ofcourse we’re going to want to talk about it. in my opinion, as long as we aren’t being rude, offending anyone, or fighting, i think any and all comments should be fair game… but that’s just me!

why do so many brucasers feel the neeed to condemn peyton for cheating with lucas while he was with brooke, and not seeing that lucas had an equal part in that cheating? and separately, why can they not see that back then, brooke had to have been deaf, dumb, and BLIND not to see that lucas and peyton had feelings for each other, but she still went after him. yes peyton said she didnt have feelings for him but COME ON. you would NOT be on brooke’s case if the situation were reversed, if brooke and lucas had had feelings for each other and peyton got involved, and brooke told peyton she didnt have feelings for lucas. then it would have been poor brooke, a good friend would have seen thru that and not gotten with lucas. and yes. obviously. i am a major leyton fan. im just saying, be honest and EQUAL.

like i said before. peyton is more to blame for the cheating because she was brookes best friend and they have known each other all their lives. lucas isn’t as much to blame because him and brooke had only known each other for a short while!!

Omg do we forget that Brooke slept with Nathan…I don’t like mentioning that because then Brucas fans just throw out the writers just did that for blah blah blah and truth is the writers do everything for a reason and we have to accept what happened as what happened. So yeah before anything happened with Lucas and Peyton that had happened so really it’s not one sided it’s two friends who have made mistakes and forgiven each other because that friendship is strong enough.

Well I’d say that the make out in the hotel she was an emotional wreck and she wasn’t thinking about what she was doing but once she did she di try to push Lucas away. But after that there is no excuse. What she did was wrong not trying to say it wasn’t, but I am trying to say that they both have done things in their relationship that friends wouldn’t do to each other…

i’m still not buying that Lucas wasn’t just as much to blame as Peyton. again, yes Peyton and Brooke were best friends, but just because Lucas didn’t know Brooke his whole life doesn’t make him any less to blame or at fault.. no him and Brooke weren’t BFF’s, but he was DATING her… which makes him just as much in the wrong in my opinion. i just don’t understand how Brucas fans can still even want Brooke with him after he did that to her… i know that if he cheated on Peyton even ONCE i sure wouldn’t want her with him… much less TWICE

i did want brucas back together at first but after 5th season i could honestly care less. i get it that since their marriage ended in real life its not going to happen with brucas. leyton sort of deserve each other in a way. i don’t think its even an brucas/leyton argument anymore its a brooke/peyton argument. im just saying that if lucas was never in the picture all of you leyton fans would like brooke so much more than peyton

i don’t have a problem with Brooke at all… her old character used to get on my nerves in the earlier seasons, but i’ve never really had a big problem with her… at the same time though, Leyton aside, i’ve never had a problem with Peyton either.
and i still don’t really see how anyone can blame Brucas not being together on Chad and Sophia’s divorce. Mark has said in many many interviews that Leyton has been the couple he’s wanted since day 1, so i don’t think Leyton being together now has anything to do with Chad and Sophia’s real life split, because Mark has said that he’s always known he wants Leyton. and if he has felt that way since day 1, that clearly has nothing to do with Chad and Sophia, that’s just the direction that he’s always wanted his show to go in

well actually Mark has said in an interview that he wanted to clear up the rumors about Chad and Sophia refusing to act together romantically, and he said that is completely false, and that no one from the show has ever refused to do anything, and that Chad and Sophia remain great friends, and that they are both great at creating characters… so if he really wanted to bring Brucas back, i’m sure he would. and in my opinion, i don’t even think any of that matters, that still doesn’t change the fact that Mark has said that he’s always known that he’s wanted Leyton, so Chad and Sophia’s feelings about acting together doesn’t really have anything to do with Mark knowing that he’s wanted Leyton since day 1, you know?
even if Chad and Sophia were still married, that doesn’t mean they would be together in the show, because Mark wants Leyton… and i can’t see Mark revolving such a big part of the show’s storyline around the actor’s personal lives that much. he’s going to do what’s best and what’s right for the show, not base it off of the actors personal lives

i know that people can lie in interviews, i just still don’t really think it’s right when Brucas fans assume that the ONLY reason Brucas isn’t together is because of their real life split, because it could also just as easily be because they just don’t make sense for the show anymore. i know there are some Brucas fans that have admitted that, but most of them refuse to accept that that may actually be the case, and choose to blame it all on their divorce, which just bugs me and makes me feel like Brucas fans just use it as an easy out for Brucas lol. but yes, as usual, we’ll just have to agree to disagree!

i agree LeytonTLA, brucas fans can’t just dismiss mark’s words… “since the pilot, we’ve created a world where lucas and peyton are meant to be”. they woudn’t have created that world if they didn’t plan on ending it with leyton, so chad and sophia’s relationship has nothing to do with the vision that mark has had for the show since day 1!

hey im 24 and i enjoy the show. my little sister got my whole family into watching it, my dad said the ep where they killed keith got him hooked, he couldnt believe they would do that haha. so who cares what age you are?
