hey im 24 and i enjoy the show. my little sister got my whole family into watching it, my dad said the ep where they killed keith got him hooked, he couldnt believe they would do that haha. so who cares what age you are?

i agree LeytonTLA, brucas fans can’t just dismiss mark’s words… “since the pilot, we’ve created a world where lucas and peyton are meant to be”. they woudn’t have created that world if they didn’t plan on ending it with leyton, so chad and sophia’s relationship has nothing to do with the vision that mark has had for the show since day 1!

but i still stand by the fact that Mark has said MANY times that he’s ALWAYS known that he’s wanted LEYTON…. and that has nothing to do with Chad and Sophia’s relationship anyway lol so i still feel like it would still be Leyton despite of all the Chad and Sophia drama

i know that people can lie in interviews, i just still don’t really think it’s right when Brucas fans assume that the ONLY reason Brucas isn’t together is because of their real life split, because it could also just as easily be because they just don’t make sense for the show anymore. i know there are some Brucas fans that have admitted that, but most of them refuse to accept that that may actually be the case, and choose to blame it all on their divorce, which just bugs me and makes me feel like Brucas fans just use it as an easy out for Brucas lol. but yes, as usual, we’ll just have to agree to disagree!

well actually Mark has said in an interview that he wanted to clear up the rumors about Chad and Sophia refusing to act together romantically, and he said that is completely false, and that no one from the show has ever refused to do anything, and that Chad and Sophia remain great friends, and that they are both great at creating characters… so if he really wanted to bring Brucas back, i’m sure he would. and in my opinion, i don’t even think any of that matters, that still doesn’t change the fact that Mark has said that he’s always known that he’s wanted Leyton, so Chad and Sophia’s feelings about acting together doesn’t really have anything to do with Mark knowing that he’s wanted Leyton since day 1, you know?

even if Chad and Sophia were still married, that doesn’t mean they would be together in the show, because Mark wants Leyton… and i can’t see Mark revolving such a big part of the show’s storyline around the actor’s personal lives that much. he’s going to do what’s best and what’s right for the show, not base it off of the actors personal lives

ya but who knows what goes on behind closed doors. sophia or chad could bluntly say something about having no intimate scenes together to mark and we would never know about it. i mean mark would never say that in an interview, either would sophia or chad. thats just something we will never know
