Ausiello: I can confirm at least one death. In the 1940s-set noir episode penned by Chad Michael Murray, somebody bites the dust when they’re pushed off a bridge. As for more OTH characters being killed off in the present… I can only hope.

Day two of my One Tree Hill set visit, an Artist Alley segment with Chad Wolf from Carolina Liar and a review of episode eight of season six can be found in the 24th edition of the One Tree Hill Connection Podcast. The episode also includes a clip from One Tree Hill Set Designer Alan Hook as he talks about the challenge of moving Peyton into Lucas’ house and how it turned into part of a script, which was seen in episode seven of season six “Messin’ with the Kid.”

E!Online Confirms Sophia Bush and James Lafferty Dating

Warning: Have earplugs standing by, ’cause One Tree Hill fans around the world may soon let out a collective squeal.
Inside sources close to the show have just confirmed to me exclusively that Sophia Bush is dating her Tree Hill costar James Lafferty. “They’re definitely together,” says one insider who works on the CW series.
Requests for comment from both personal representatives have so far not been returned.
Turns out, it was Sophia’s ex-husband (and yes, James’ and Sophia’s fellow OTH costar) Chad Michael Murray who first spilled the beans…
During an interview with a local CW news affiliate (see video below), Chad was asked about his relationship and failed marriage to Sophia and responded:
“It’s one of those things where you grow up a lot faster. You’re put in a situation where you’re gonna deal with things right in your face. But I think [Sophia and I] are both professional and mature enough to get through it. And now it’s just easy. We’re just friends. And she’s got James, and James and I are friends. It’s just a little tight group in Wilmington.”
Sophia and James also were spotted recently at Los Angeles International Airport (see photo above). Her brief marriage to Murray ended in 2005 after only five months. They for dated nearly two years before he popped the question.
So what do you fans think of James and Sophia as a couple? Seems a pretty sweet match, doesn’t it?
And even better, somewhere Nanny Carrie is rolling in her grave…

GOSSIP GIRL and ONE TREE HILL Finish First in their Time Periods with Young Women

October 28, 2008 (Burbank, CA) – As sophomore sensation GOSSIP GIRL gained momentum, The CW continued its hold on Monday night, once again finishing as the night’s #1 network in women 18-34 (3.6/9) and females 12-34 (3.3/9), according to preliminary live plus same day Nielsen ratings for Monday, Oct. 27, 2008.
GOSSIP GIRL improved week-to-week by 13% in women 18-34 (3.4/9), 5% in adults 18-34 (2.2/6), 20% in women 18-49 (2.4/6) and 7% in adults 18-49 (1.5/4)
GOSSIP GIRL ranked first in the 8:00p.m. hour with women 18-34 (3.4/9-tie), females 12-34 (3.2/9). GOSSIP GIRL tied for second in adults 18-34 (2.2/6).
ONE TREE HILL was first from 9:00-10:00pm with females 12-34 (3.4/9-tie) and ranked second among women 18-34 (3.7/9), behind NBC. ONE TREE HILL beat ABC and CBS in the time period in adults 18-34 (2.5/6).
GOSSIP GIRL and ONE TREE HILL have dramatically improved The CW’s Monday, posting year-to-year gains on Monday by 130% in adults 18-34 (2.3/6), 157% in women 18-34 (3.6/9), 60% in adults 18-49 (1.6/4), 85% in women 18-49 (2.4/6) and 34% in viewers (3.1mil).

Thanks, Alicia for the heads up…we haven’t seen Glenda in quite some time but she talks a bit about her experience on the show in an interview.
You played Glenda Farrell on the TV series “One Tree Hill.” What was that experience like?
My first time filming was very brief, so I wasn’t able to really get the full experience. When they asked me to come back on the show I was able to meet everyone and experience the set a little better. I have to say, it was probably one of the most friendly casts and crews that I have ever worked with. It was so fun!
