I think the picture is really hot but I don’t like the fact that James and Sophia are dancing. I mean ok I’m happy they are together in real life and all but they are taking a cast photo to promote the show not their lives. There’s not Brathan on the show so I find it really really random.

The whole point of this picture was to make people go “wtf?”. There’s no point to hil in the bikini or James/Sophia other than to catch attention. It’s not that big of a deal.

And this article seems to have been written before 609 aired. Peyton’s “secret” is only referring to her past relationship with Julian. The stuff about Nathan and slamball is from 609, too, because there is no more slamball after 609.

Ahh, the article is great! Hahah it had me laughing.
Their sarcasm was funny and the truth to the show’s past was very accurate. Hahah but the great thing is, inspite of all the crazyness we all have to put up with as dedicated fans, we’re still there every Monday watching this show because we purely love it. Thats what makes this show soo freaking amazing to me, because out of all that soapy random storylines, its still always going to be this amazingly unforgettable show that is at least someone’s favorite. Aww this makes me happy!
They’re finally getting the publicity that they deserve!
& I’m sooo excited for Chad’s episode! I’m sooo proud of him! Ahh this is going to be FANTASTIC, guys!!

BTW, the set behind them is the 40s set. And yes, the article was written before 609. They did the photo shoot the day after I left Wilmington and my time on set – Oct. 24.

Hmmm, maybe Hilarie said put me in a bikini because her character Peyton is going to be pregnant and she wanted to make sure people knew that art isn’t imitating life. LOL

I am surprised they opened up the article telling some of the plot line of the 40s episode – because that is near the end of the ep.

If Sophia and James have no problem in posing together even though it has nothing to do with their characters on the AU episode.

I might be wrong about this, but wasn’t the photo shoot before the interview when Chad spilled the beans about Sophia and James. Someone said up a little that the shoot was October 24?!? When was the interview with Chad? Maybe the photographer just wanted them togeter, as simple as that. Maybe there isn’t a “hidden meaning” behind why they are together in the picture.

Nice shoot, but Hilarie in a bikini is so random.

I think the set in the background is Karen’s cafe in the 1940’s episode. Also, at the start of the article, it sounds like they’ve mixed up Sophia and Hilarie. Because from the spoilers when someone was watching filming, it was Brooke who got slapped by Dan, who was supposed to be in the back of the car and who was supposed to be Dan’s pimp or something.

lol i don’t really understand why everyone is freaking out about this picture… yeah it’s random and doesn’t make much sense, but maybe it’s not supposed to make sense to us yet. this picture is supposed to be promoting the 40’s episode, which we haven’t seen yet. so maybe once we DO see it, this picture will make more sense, and we’ll understand it a little bit better.

maybe we WILL get a Brathan scene in the 40’s episode, or maybe it WILL end up making sense for Hilarie to be in a bikini in this picture. we do know that Haley is singing in the episode.. and they have her with a microphone in the pic. so it would make sense for Brathan dancing together, and Peyton in a bikini have relevance to the episode too, if Haley’s pic has relevance. either way… just because this picture doesn’t make sense to us now, doesn’t mean it won’t have relevance later once we see the episode. i don’t necessarily think it’s just because of James and Sophia’s personal lives, or because Hilarie just wanted to be in a bikini lol

I dunno I know it’s not a big deal but still I’m just annoyed at the fact that they are blatantly together even though for some reason they look really awkward in this photo. I actually think Hillarie looks great even though it is wierd she’s in a bikini and Joy looks really good. It’s just real life peeking into the show indirectly. It’s fine I guess nothing really to make a big deal of just annoying that’s all. If it probably was James and Hillarie or Joy and Chad I wouldn’t find it so annoying, just cause then I’d know it was random. Must be kinda awkward though being that in the beginning there were pics of her and Chad and now this one with James, not to say that there will be more but just saying. Sometimes I wonder what Hillarie and Joy must think they’re both married right? To the same guys that they were dating since they basically started the show?

Yeah I see what everyone’s saying, it’s cool I’ll just see it for what it is a really cool photo but I still think James looks awkward in any dance position. If there is relevance didn’t people confirm that there are specific Naley romance scenes? Isn’t it that Brooke is suppose to be the kinda seductive one? Lucas isn’t a director in the episode, Chad wrote it we know that. I guess we won’t know. But now it’s sparking my curiosity so I guess it worked, especially what Peyton’s role is gonna be for some reason.
And just to throw it out there I wonder if people would be singing a different tune had it been Chad and Sophia dancing instead…

I think its a bit harsh for people to have a go about James and Sophia cos they are dancing together for a photoshoot, I doubt they went up to the photographer and said ‘excuse me we are boyfriend and girlfriend can we pose together?’. I’m reading other boards and some are fussing over the photo.
As someone who couldn’t stand Brooke and has become sort of a casual Naley fan…I look at it like this…

the pose is …interesting : \

It’s just really random.

And on the heels of them being outed recently I could see why it would cause folks on buzz. And lets not forgot Sophia’s other relationship that was put out for the public with Chad and played in front of us viewers as well.

It’s not a stretch to start asking questions.

Why did they have to be in that pose?

In the episode is Nate some dance instructor or something running a night club? In the other pic he’s behind the bar. I’m just trying to wrap my head around what dream sequence is about to occur with Nate and Brooke. Why not have them pose separately like the other cast members? Chad is by himself, so is Hilarie and Haley is by her mic cause of the singing thing. Why are Sophia and Nate coupled up?

It’s just strange to me.

With that said, Hilarie and Joy look really sexy in this pic. I’m so use to Sophia being the cover girl for OTH. It’s nice to see the other ladies glamming it up. This is the second photo shoot in two weeks where HB has looked fab. And I like the bikini…it makes her stand out. I bet she was trying on stuff and had the bikini on and they were like hey you should just shoot in that, you look fab.

All I can say, again, is everyon is going to love this 611 AU 40s ep.

Hilarie is going to blow everyone away with her 40s Peyton. OMG some of the looks she gave delivering lines gave me chills. And her “big” scene with her speech had me tingling all over. I heard it so many times I have it memorized.

And the coda song just MAKES the ep, especially the way it ends.

oh please!!! This photo is so obvious! The only reason why Sophia and James are in that position is because they are dating in real life!!! And for the people who are saying ‘it has nothing to do with real life’ is ridiculous. HELLO CHOPHIA ANYONE!! Mark and Crew are captilizing on their real life relationship for the show and it is WRONG. Nathan and Brooke are definitely not cute and they ARE NOT A COUPLE ON THE SHOW, SO WHY HAVE THEM TOGETHER and NALEY RULES!!! This is very disappointing. I have every confidence that there will never be a Brathan on the show but when the creators do stuff like this it just makes me question everything and I really dislike that!!!!!!!!!!! I hear where everyone is coming from but everyone knows there will be no Brathan romantic relationship, they’ve just gotten closer as friends which is cool because they were never really that close. Naley isnt going anywhere so chill, and lets just see maybe this picture will play into the episode and if not its a good looking picture anyway.

Brooke and Nathan are never going to be anything but friends. It is and always will be Naley I think that the Naley fans have a right to be a little perterbed by this but only because a few Brathan fans (ewww!!) are saying ‘yay, it’s going to lead somewhere yay’!!! And th fact that they are a real life couple only makes it harder for us Naley fans, do you see where I am coming from? I have no problem with Sophia and James dating, in fact I think it’s kinda cute but I really don’t wanna see it incorporated into the t.v show. I really love the Naley relationship and I do understand the fans fears. I honestly believe that nothing is going to happen not even in the 40’s episode but I don’t like the fact that it is causing so much uproar and that some fans think ‘well they are going out in real life, so why not have them together in the show, it is wrong and would completely insult the show’s characters and the fans

I don’t know if anyone has said this yet, but maybe the photo WAS supposed to be random. Since the article talks a lot about how OTH has many “shark-jumping” and random story lines, they probably wanted to show that in the photo shoot. Like for example, Hilarie in the bikini could be a reenactment on Rachel’s story line where she gets the cover of Maxim. Their bikinis do look a lot alike. And Joy singing could be Hayley’s tour with Chris. Also, Chad in the director’s chair could either be Lucas’ book turning into a movie, or because Chad is writing/directing an episode. I’m not to sure on Sophia and James. Maybe the random scenes they’ve been having, or maybe that sex tape ordeal.

I don’t know, its just an idea. I could be way off. :]

oh great, something else to give the Brathan fans hope!!! I really wish they would keep this crap out of the show. I don’t care that that are dating in real life but come on, this is just so obvious. WOW. I love how Naley fans bash on Brathan fans for getting scenes this season (when NH has been married since season 1). I can’t say this photo’s got too much to do with them being together in real life, but if it did, then SO WHAT? Let the photographers or the creators or writers of the show throw us Brathan fans a bone every once in a while; it’s not like it’s ruining Naley’s relationship (because that will TOTALLY be the end of the world, right?). excuse me JS. But not all Naley fans are bashing the Brathan fans. I like that Brooke and Nathan are having scenes, it is completely normal considering Brooke and Haley are best friends and Brooke is the godmother of Jamie. All I said was that a romantic Brooke and Nathan would be yucky for me because I am a huge Naley fan Although I have complete faith that Brooke and Nathan will never be in a relationship. It just seems that ever since the rumours have been flying about James and Sophia’s relationship, there has been choas in the forums and us Naley fans do need to worry a little because anything is possible and while it wouldn’t be the end of the world, to us Naley fans it would be heartbreaking, can you understand what I am trying to say. Oh no, I understand. I didn’t mean ALL NH fans, but I have come across some ridiculously unreasonable ones and I was directing it towards them (not anyone specific here). I didn’t mean to be rude, and I’m sorry. But I read so many forums or comments that just bash BN like it’s the devil’s work and it’s really sad in my opinion, because it’s two people who should be able to share one scene together without flames going up on message boards the day after. I doubt there will be a BN romance, and I honestly wouldn’t want them to go that way, but how can I appreciate a BN friendship when we don’t have any scenes? And when we do get scenes, we get ridiculed for it? You have to understand where BN fans come from; we get one or two meaningless scenes for 5 seasons so this is a big deal for us. As for SOME Naley fans, I just wish they’d stop going on BN boards and talking trash about us and BN. People do have a right to their opinion, but like I said, I’ve come across some ridiculous ones that SWEAR they’d just DIE if something ever happened to NH.

Oh I completely understand that. I am sorry to, I don’t mean to come off as crazy or anything it is just that I am a huge Naley fan and I always will be. I just love them I think the reason that some of the really crazy fans are going wild is because of James and Sophia’s off screen romance and because of the whole Brooke/Peyton/Lucas triangle thing that happened when Chad and Sophia were together. I believe that the scenes between Brooke and Nathan border on brother/sister friendship, much like the Laley one I am not worried about it all personally and as for the James and Sophia relationship, I think that if they are happy together good for them.

im pretty positive they are saying whats going on in real life.
-Chad has directed a few episodes for this season and loves it therefore hes in a directors chair
-Bethany is trying to get more into her music
