That seemed to be the consensus for every reaction I heard tonight.
OMG. What. just. happened.
I think I can say tonight was one of my favorite episodes of the season or at least my favorite last 15 minutes of an episode LOL. Let’s get to the specifics here….
- First and foremost the reveal of Brooke’s attacker! I really, really did not see that coming. Did not expect Sam’s friends to be involved in that whatsoever. And then on top of that, to find out that the same guy is the one from Q’s shooting. Wow. So my question is of course why would he be involved with Q? Just random that he is just a bad guy and Q was just bad timing? I guess this means we should be worried for Sam? I don’t know, her friend John (or was it really Jack LOL) seems to really like her so maybe he’ll keep his brother off her but I just can’t see good stuff coming out of that.
- I’m very interested to see how Brooke takes this news that one of Sam’s friends is her attacker and Sam was technically but not directly involved.
- The whole Owen/Brooke thing felt really forced. I don’t think the Owen we’ve gotten to know would have said that and I don’t think based on her last encounter with Owen would have been so upset. I mean, really, the last time we saw them Owen was a humble guy saying whenever you’re ready and Brooke seemed upset. And now, out of nowhere it’s like OMG, I hate you again. I really felt like that was a set up for the whole Owen and Millie hook-up. Which OMG. Brings me to the next point.
- Owen and Millie?? For reals? I really am not happy Millie is not going to lose her virginity to Mouth. Life happens and all but come on. Mouth and Millie are so perfect together.
- Gigi needs to get her skanky butt out of Mouth’s life and more importantly, cellphone. Ugh.
- Luke and Dixon/Dawson were completely awful. The drugs were just out of place and inappropriate, his ideas were awful and he was just plain annoying. Sorry, JVDB. It wasn’t your acting, just your character. I was a Creek fan, so no hate from me there.
- Um, what happened to Mia? Not the same girl for sure and I really don’t like it. That being said, wow, she looked gorgeous!
- Nathan and his basketball…hot, hot, hot! I absolutely adored his voiceover. I loved that he did well. If they don’t pick him, they’re crazy. So is Q walking away with the cape a symbol of him wearing the cape and flying…he says it’s not just Nate’s dream so is that a foreshadowing that Nate got his dream?
Jamie was cute as a button tonight. - So what and who is Julian? It seems like they’re trying to paint him as the bad guy but I really think he’s a good guy especially with that whole coffee thing at the end. Either way, man is still hot.
- Peyton…well, I guess we got our answer. It’s going to be another cancer storyline. And we seem to have a lead that it is ovarian/uterine. Does this mean no Leyton babies? A stalled wedding? Will Peyton die?
OMG That is just about the only thing you can say in response to that episode. I think it was a fabulous episode before a long break. Enough stuff answered while enough stuff was left open to keep you coming back on January 5.

OMG, I get to see this episode in 50 minutes and now I am so exited for it!!!
I personally think the cancer thing was just to throw us off track and she’s just having health complications along with her pregnancy. That’s why she’s crying, because she doesn’t know whether to be happy or sad, and why she was looking at a picture of her and Ellie because she’s thinking about being a mother. That being said, those things could just as easily mean cancer, so who knows!
Ya I agree with that totally. That’s what I was thinking when they first showed it to us. Plus, I looked up both those cancers and the only one that kinda fits her symptoms is ovarian cancer, but it’s not a perfect match. Still, I don’t write the show so I really have no idea. I’m hoping she’s pregnant cuz if it’s cancer I’ll be devastated!

Ok…just a question. Anyone think Peyton still might be pregnant? Not sure if I’m reaching on this one…but she was looking at that website before she got the results from the doctor, so she still didn’t know for sure. And then when she heard her expression looked kind-of sad/bad, but that could just be because she doesn’t feel like now is a good time for a baby? And then her looking at that picture of Ellie and her could obviously be a link to the cancer, but couldn’t it also be a link to the fact that Ellie had just given birth to Peyton? I didn’t get the feeling that it was clearly cancer, but maybe it’s a stretch and that’s just my love for Peyton talking.
Up until the Owen/Millie stuff and Sam getting into the car, I liked the episode a lot. Also loved the Nathan voice over, definitely wasn’t expecting that about Brooke’s attacker. But Owen and Millie?? Really?? That’s just so out-of-character for both of them, and I don’t like it. And I’m rather worried for Sam, I hope she is okay and finds her way back to Brooke.
Can’t wait until January 5th!!
Since we had an amazing episode today, like every single person is saying that, I think I can now somewhat survive the break, cause the episode in Jan. is gonna be amazing too.

oh my god Amy, it was ah-mazing! i am still reeling over it. talk about such a good ending to bring us into our first major break. its going to be a lonely few weeks, but we have our chat to keep us going. idk what exactly to speculate about the leyton stuff now, but omg JAMES! im so in love with him right now. nothing is better than seeing him playing basketball on the show. its seriously the best. and like i mentioned in the chat, its sooooo epi 4.13 (pictures of you) when hes in the shirtless stance. eeek, great stuff. im definitely happy. btw, pray for same. im afraid the dude will kill her.

i think she gets pregnant but finds out she has cancer as well and has to make a chioce on whether to go through will the pregancy it wiuld be an intersting story line there are people how have had cancer while pregnant.

I too felt the Owen/Brooke thing came out of nowhere and it was a total setup for Owen/Gigi and Brulian.
I thought parts of the scenes with Lucas and JVB character was good, either way I too am a Creek/Dawson fan.
I was not shocked about Sam’s friend being involved in the Brooke attack (I think there was a spoiler out there) but I AM SHOCKED at the connnection to Quentin’s killer, that was ingenious!
I am dissappointed in Mouth, because he is totally falling for the Gigi garbage and he does not put her in her place. I saw that one coming a mile a way, that is a man for you, lol.
I totally think Peyton is pregnant. I think the websites with Ovarian and Uterine cancer was just Peyton researching the possibility. When she was holding the pic of Ellie and the baby and she was crying, I think 1.) she is VERY emotional and pregnancy hormones kicking in and 2.) She was in shock, since it was NOT what she was expecting to hear. You usually plan the wedding first and after the marriage the kids come. She is probably thinking that a baby just adds another challenge in their complicated lives?
I thought the episode was very well written and executed.
Yeah, i think they are throwing us off…when it comes back she will be pregnant and they will show her on the phone with lucas and smiling and stuff…the crying could be a relief that she doesnt have it and then it turns in to happy…i love this episode and i hope they catch that and bury him under the jail…i think brooke will tell sam…it’s not her fault she didn’t know her friend was going to do that…millie better not sleep with owen…that’s the problem with guys they always want to let the girl ff easy mouth should of put his foot down with gigi the homewrecking winch…get her out of the show…he should of deleted that picture rite away…i knew when the showed that pic millie was going to see it…i cant believe we have to wait 5 damn weeks to see what happens with all of this…i hope its going to be 2 hours but i know im pushing it a little…a girl can hope cant she lol
Overall great episode in my book…Does anyone think Julian and Brooke may get together…and the movie guy was the biggest a**hole ever…I mean really snorting coke on his book…i would of been like nevermind snatched my book and walked the hell out.
I didn’t love the episode. I did not care for the Dixon/Lucas scenes. Thought Dixon was ridiculous and his ideas were so off from the storyline of the movie. I wish there was more Peyton scenes. I want to believe it is not cancer, but I have changed my mind 1,000 times. If it is pregnancy I think it is coupled with health issues too. My only solace there is she seems to be on the phone with Luke so he is the first to know. I think there was a bit too much Jamie tonight; Gigi is useless and Mouth is being stupid–he should of never gone to her party or gave her the tshirt. That tshirt should have gone in the garbage. Own and Millie are so random it is icky. Millie, to me, would never just hook up with Owen. My other question is when do sides/spoilers start leaking out for the next episode? I am impatient already!
Can i tell you how much i love when Nathan does the voice over. it is kind of like in season 3 episode 18 i think when he is playing basketball and doing the voice over. he has grown so much, im tearing. at the tryouts nathan reminded me of lucas in season 2 when he first joined the basketball team and everyone kind of signaled him out. Julian was sexy and charming as well. i loved when brooke called him out on his smile. that was cute.lol
I forgot to add I REALLY liked Julian. He is a good guy underneath. I would love to see what develops between him and Brooke. I think Brooke should do the clothing for the movie. I also wish Haley had more of a storyline tonight.
oh yeah by the way…I’m loving Nathan totally he has grown so much…GO NATE GO NATE…I love how he was giving it to the guy on the court…He did a good job…I look at him now and think of him then and i’m in AWE with Nathan…I LOVE JAMES LAFFRTY!!! Oh and when he was walking out the door with that leather jacket and them jeans he looks HOT!!!

Yeah, thats exactly what his voiceover reminded me of. Especially the way he said them, and the lines he had to read seemed really similar. LOVED IT!! I was hoping for more voiceovers from him.
Loved Lucas’ voiceover too. Not so much Jamies.. That just didn’t work. It should’ve been Haley’s voice.
I thought the Dixon/Lucas scenes were shit, but at the same time they were hilarious. I don’t know.. just really really funny. Like Lucas would ever do things like that. I think that they were just trying to show what writers will do to get people to watch even if its completely stupid and wrong.
Jamie was cute. Way too cute. I loved him. Especially at the beginning with him and Nathan. Lol.
Nathan.. man he is sooooooo hot! That is all I have to say. When he was lifting weights… oh man.. Sophia is lucky thats all I have to say *drool*
Same goes for Julian.. jeez man he is so hot. I love his character. He’s supposed to be the villian and all that but all I see is hotness. lol. yummy.
Loved the Sam and Brooke interaction. I’m glad Sam is opening up finally and I’m happy Brooke said something about her attack.
Millie and Owen?!?! That is horrible on so many levels. Millie is cheating on Mouth but she’s also ruining her friendship with Brooke because she knows that she likes him and vice versa. And Owen.. dude, 8 years your sober and after Brooke yells at you, you take some shots? And then sleep with one of her best friends?!?! Wow.. just.. wow. I didn’t think they were that type of people. I know there hurting and all that but.. wow. I can’t wait to see how that plays out. It might actually make for some interesting storylines as long as it doesn’t absolutely ruin relationships.
OMG is right…that is all I could say for the last several minutes of the episode and for at an hour after it ended. What an amazing way to go into the break.
Julian owned this episode! The scene with Lucas and him in the beginning made the episode or me … I love his little smirks throughout the episode and I LOVE LOVE LOVE when he dreq J+P in the sugar LOL that was great! haha Lucas got so mad!
Most of the episode was ehhhh! BUT the ending saved it! I was so unexpectedly shocking and amazing!
I agree about the Brooke/Owen fight being forced, it just felt so fake and overreacting. I’m not sure how I feel about Millie hooking up with her BFF’s old BF or whatever Browen was. Millie had every right to be mad, but sh ewill regret having her first time happen that way I guarantee, unless they plan on Millien or Ollie or whatever thy are lol

oh please… Peyton is sooooooooooo pregnant! i’m sorry but they talked about cancer WAY too much in this episode, so if she ended up having cancer then what’s the point of the cliffhanger? it would be like telling us all something that we already saw coming. but those people who haven’t heard the pregnancy spoilers will TOTALLY be caught off guard if they announce that it’s a baby, not cancer. the picture of ellie was a great way to end it. because that makes us think that she’s thinking about her mom’s cancer, when REALLY she’s just looking at it because it’s a picture of her mom holding her as a baby, and she’s thinking about being a mom. so that’s a great way to introduce the pregnancy thing. she’s pregnant. period!
AND OH MY GOSH I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE JULIAN!!!!!!!!!!!!! ahhhhh i want Brulian so bad! he was sooo sweet tonight when he was trying to help her!

So i missed a little bit of the episode tonight to watch Lance Bass dance his last dance on DWTS. From what I can tell and with the spoilers that have been released, i think Peyton is pregnant. I when she went to the doctor and we has asking her those questions it was just to get a background. I think he told her that because of her family history it could be cancer so she started to prepare herself for the results by looking up the info on the internet. But when the doc called her later she said, “what does that mean?” i think he told her basically, that she doesn’t have cancer but she is pregnant. she knows what having cancer means.
but again i missed a few minutes here and there because of my beloved Lance Bass.
That episode was crap!! I feel like all we ever do is hang around Brooke and Peyton’s problems, it has been pretty much all about them this season. Where the heck is Haley?!!!!! The most underrated character I have ever seen and it is disgusting!!!!
Totally HATED this episode. Ripped it a new one in my podcast. Too many scene suckers, just didn’t care. Worst episode since all of season five. Hated it, hated it, hated it.
I was watching the clock as the scene suckers like Sam, Millie, Mouth, Gigi and Julian kept sucking up the screen time going when are you going to show me somethign I care about.
By the way who cares about James and Sophia?? Why does everyone like to bring up their relationship??? Their relationship has nothing to do with the t.v show!!! Besides they probably their not going to last!!!

It be that she is pregnant but the she is scared that she might make the mistakes that ellie made like having a child at a young age and not knowing if shes ready to have a child.

I honestly think that most of all season 6 so far was leyton. no offense but it was good to see other storylines. it was like in previous seasons when they split time equally among the five main characters. i also think Browen was forced, it was really sudden and owen SERIOUSLY needs to go some where. i cant stand him. i hope he sleeps with millie and brooke never ever talks to owen any more.
And they cut the only LP scene with the “new act” saying in it. I guess that would have been too obvious. But her scenes SCREAMED cancer for the unspoiled audience.
But they overrode this episode with a lot of Sam.

The heavy LP episodes were 6×01, 6×07, and 6×11. Other than that, there hasn’t been an abundance of LP scenes. They talk to each other over the phone more than anything.
I really didn’t like that episode AT ALL.
I had like NO emotion the whole 41 minutes and 49 secondes.

I disagree Honey. I have all of LP scenes this season and only like 3 episodes was 10-12 minutes long. The rest has been 7 or less minutes long. and out of a 44min episode. That’s NOTHING!
Honestly LPtrue, in brucas scenes they are talking about leyton, in breyton scenes they talk about leyton, in layley scenes they talk about peyton. their have the biggest STORYLINE, sorry if i was not clear before about the difference between storyline and scenes.
It was a slow episode, but I completely satisfied with it. I agree, it would only make sense for her to call Haley, because she’s been there, and the audience probably wouldn’t see that coming. I reaeeaaaaaally hope the cancer story is a mislead. I just don’t think I could take it.
I know some people think it was bad.. and after watching it for the 3rd time I still think its one of the better episodes. Better then most of Season 5 thats for sure. But I really think that there wasting screen time on characters that don’t matter. Lucas is getting his screen time, so Brooke, so is Nathan and so is Peyton. Where the hell is Haley?! She’s just there for Jamie and Nathan but she has NO storyline. She’s a main character not someone that should be left behind in the shadows. What like once this season we saw her storyline move forward but other then that she’s been support for Nathan and a mom to Jamie. That makes me mad because she’s one of the best actresses on the show and she deserves her screen time. Cut out Mouth/Millie scenes, please, I want my Haley!

Personally, loved the episode. Also, am I the only one who thinks that they WANT us to think Peyton has cancer? Yes, she was looking at a picture of her and Ellie, but it was the picture of them together right after Peyton was born, so I think that it could be foreshadowing to a Peyton pregnancy.
Also, maybe I’m confused, but I thought that Jack was the one who attacked Brooke and his brother was the one who killed Q? Didn’t they happen on the same night?
I certainly wouldn’t mind if Julian became a reoccurring character for the rest of season 6
Your not alone, I do think that they WANT us to think Peyton has cancer. But I just don’t believe it.

the poeple who did not enjoy it seem to be Leyton fans, or just Peyton fans.
first, Leyton did not get any scenes, so that upset LP’ers, and then Peyton fans were upset becasue of the cancer/sickness storyline.
BUT I AS AN BROOKE AND OTH FAN..LOVED IT!
Brucas is endgame, i totally agree. the best episode of season 6, hands down.
It was an awesome episode!!!!!! I am a huge leyton fan and I still loved it immensly because everyone’s acting in this episode was incredible!!! every scene was great. Even though, Im super bummed about the 6 week wait, Im so happy that this was the episode to leave off of!!!! Great job mark!!!!!!!! it was so good, i think ill go watch it again lol.
oh, one more thing, i was disspointed that we didn’t have a good promo for the next episode,
it’s not cancer, she thinks it is, but then we wouldn’t be left with much of a cliff hanger for Leyton storyline would we.
i agree plus she went to the doctors that morning you don’t get test positive for cancer results that damn fast.. So hes telling her she is preggers… My mom had breast cancer and her test results took like 3-5 days so I don’t think she has cancer… And also not much of an cliffhaner if she has cancer, due to the fact she got worried when he asked her about an history of cancer in her family.. And then she was lookin up cancers she might have, totally getting herself more upset and worried before the doc called…
They mention cancer way too much in this episode…

It was an OKAY episode for me. Only scenes I liked were Peyton/Mia, Brooke/Sam(with the excitement to know her Attacker is also the guy who shot Q), and Nate tryouts. Everybody’s else were USELESS especially Lucas/Dixon…

i can’t believe we finally found out who the attacker was i loved that twist i cried so hard when i realized that sams friend did this to brooke i mean he took away her life for a little bit and now she’s just starting to get it back i hope she doesnt get into a slump again :[
i loved the whole brooke and sam interaction and i loved when brooke went looking for sam and she asked julian at the dinner if he came to look for her but he said no that he just came to get a cup of coffee but he doesn't like coffee and he did just come to look for her. that was a perfect scene between brooke and julian. and i about screamed when i saw that sam was getting in the car with the guy who shot Q. bahhhh he is so freaking creepy! i also loved nathans tryouts he did such a great job. i can't believe millie and owen are gonna get it on ;] thats crazyyyyyy! i wonder what’s gonna happen with peyton i hope she’s okay! lucas and dixon were pretty pointless the storyline just kind of dropped off with them it was weird! but any other wise i loved this episode!
The episode was good, not the best, but good. Brooke’s attacker reveal – OMG! Jamie – the cutsiness is getting old. Loved watching Nathan’s comeback. And what happened to Naley? What’s with the kisses on the forehead? All the time. Do the actors not want to touch each other anymore? Really. Married people in their twenties do not act like that. At least not in my experience. Naley act like an old, old married couple. Mark, bring back the Naley passion/emotion – please!

great episode….Loved seeing Brooke dancing…and Julian ahhhh I love him seriously Brulian has got to happen, and you know what I think she is starting to like him especially the way she looked at him in the end…and holy crap jack beat up Brooke and then has the balls to stay at her house…and Brooke opening up to sam that was nice I think brookes dealing with it and I hope shes ok Julian will help her lol I hope.. and Owen and Millie they are totally gonna have sex lol…and Dixon well hes no dawson lol…Peyton is so pregnant I don’t think its cancer…and I was OMG when sam got into the car and there was Q’s killer I nearly fell off the couch…there are some awesome storylines coming up and I can’t wait till january…and if mark decides to kill someone else I hope its Q’s killer I want him dead…
i was a bit disappointed with the eppy…only bit worth watching was the last 10 mins how freaky espically with the voiceover! interesting to see how that will pan out..the whole mouth and millie thing is a bit of a waste give him a break he didnt do anything..am starting to like julian he’s been portrayed out to be the bad guy but wel see iv still got a funny feeling about him..glad found out who attacked brooke..im worried for peyton wonder whats up cant believe we have to wait til next year the promo was rubbish was expecting an insight!
i think there’s seems to be a problem not getting the balance like past OTH of the 5 main characters there was a lack of leyton but then there’s so much and not enough of the rest hmmm does anyone know if OTH will be back for another season? caus if it doesnt i think it will finish with the LP wedding if it does then i think theyl get married and she’ll faint or something due to the pregancy complications lol just a thought!
Oh Denise you wouldn’t be complaining about the episode if there were 80% Leyton scenes. I found it quite refresshing with less Leyton last night, maybe that’s why I enjoyed it so much!
I love love loved this episode. It was great, I seriously can’t wait for 6.13. I remember a little while ago, I think they were filming 6.13 or 6.14, an insider on the show said Sophia had hurt herself doing her won stunts. So, I’m thinking she takes off to find Sam, and confronts her attacker.
Julian was so sweet in the episode, how he threw the coffee away as soon as he got outside, he was actually trying to help.
Lucas/Dixon was pretty cool, but random. At least Lucas got a bit of a separate storyline for the episode. The idea’s Dixon came out with were funny, lol, he seemed to be obsessed with giving Haley a bigger storyline.
Peyton was not too surprising, seeing as I read spoilers, lol. But, it should be interesting to see how that one plays out.
Jamie was so cute, on stage. I hope he won the talent show.
Mouth/Gigi/Milicent/Owen annoyed me. MM are like the cutest couple on OTH, (other than Brucas of course) and I wish Mouth would stop being an idiot, get rid of Gigi and win Millie back. Millie and Owen just seems weird, and why is Owen drinking again? What is he relapses. Then again, I prefer Brulian to Browen. S, I don’t really mind.
It was nice to see Mia back, but, I agree she wasn’t the same person, at least she was standing up for her music, though. I didn’t think Peyton would be one to make Mia wear short skirts and stuff! That was a bit hypocritical, seeing as she said at her old company, she would not get to the top that way. As in wearing revealing stuff and what not. I don’t think I made any sense there, but, oh well.
It was great to see Nathan on his way back up. But, I wish they’d give Haley a bit more of a storyline.
But, I think the biggest shock of tonight was the supposed ‘Daniels’ brothers. I’m very interested to see where they take that, the ending was creepy.
that was definitely an “OMG” episode! i mean the whole thing with brooke…and sam is in danger. and it’s the first time that i thought julian seemed like a good guy. i agree with the owen thing..it happened too fast and it was a bit random. peyton..i’m still not sure..u never know what’s going to happen in one tree hill. jamie was extremely cute and nathan soooo hot!
it was a good episode overall..lots of cliffhangers.

oh my land!!! Now that is how you write an epi.!!!! That was hands down my favorite OTH of all time. The basketball scenes with Nathan narration was the bomb! Julian rocks!! Brooke breakin’ down and going off on Owen, he totally deserves it, and he better not sleep with Milli! Jamie with the jokes, spot on. Julian is so cute with Sam, And so Sam friend’s brother killed Q and is the one who attacked Brooke! Outstanding writing!!!
I loved this episode! I even started to like Julian, he is a good guy after all. Peyton has to be pregnant, I think she was just rading stuff online and is crying of joy/ fear. Can’t wait for jan. 5. It’s so far!
Sucking episode ;( and the lack of Leyton scene only made it worse. Anyway I liked the Brooke/Sam, and expecially Brooke. And what’s wrong with Owen all of a sudden? It makes me want Julian with her rather than him… Nathan rocked in the basketball scenes, and Jamie was cute. But damn, just cut off the Mouth/Millicent story, just be freaking happy already or break up – it’s boring!
I didn’t like the episode because there was too much time wasted on periphrial characters. That was my problem. Mouth used to be an extension of the core five -why do we care about his own personal storyline. Why do I have to see so much of Sam and her issues, why is Julian (who is a movie producer and should be out raisiing money for the movie) still in Tree Hill and that is just a few examples of the scene suckers who are taking away from the core five.
Poor Haley, all she did was mostly smile and pat someone on the back this episode. And way tooooo much Jamie. The last two episodes were a nice vacation from that “sweetness.”
Just a lackluster edition and not a great effor after so many quality episodes before that. Just seemed to be laziness on the writers part.
The episode was good… I was shocked with finding out the attacker was Jack’s brother Rex who also killed Q… wasn’t really expecting that! Ughhh I hope Peyton doesn’t have cancer… I don’t think she does but it’s gonna be crueling for 6 weeks
And I wonder who she is talking to on the phone… I don’t think it was Lucas, she would definitely want to tell him in person. I love that Nathan is getting back to basketball… he killed everyone who was at the tryout i loved it… I didn’t like the scenes with Mouth and Millie… boring and come on why would she sleep with Owen? Owen was a jerk by the way… grrr and I don’t understand why Julian hides how nice he is?? He seems like such a jerk then he does something nice lol… and I loved the scene with the sugar… classic! Didn’t really like the scenes with Lucas and Dixon… I thought they would definitely be better than that… and Jamie was soo cute in the talent show! sooo cute 
Overall it was a good episode not the best but good! I highly doubt she has cancer because Chad is directing eps 14 and he said it was a comedy one sooo i dunno lol
i reckon 614 will be where peyton knows about her pregnancy and is thinking how much she will suck at being a mum when she has to (possibly) babysit because chad did say it was gunna be a comedy with kids involved and that he would have to direct himself alot so who knows
plus the title for episode 613 is things a mama dont know so i hope and pray shes pregnant
With the whole Peyton thing…she was looking up her symptoms BEFORE the doctor called her and told her what was wrong…she was trying to diagnose herself first…I think…so it may or may not be cancer. I hope its not!!
tonight’s episode was ok but not great in my opinion.
i loved the Naley/Jamie scenes but Mark should’ve given Haley a storyline of her own she’s one of the core 5 in case he forgot!
anywho I really loved Nathan and Jamies’ voice overs through out the episode it was fresh.
and i’m really excited how Brooke/sam story is gona be.
Milli/Owen that was a total waste, it’s wrong in every way possible and i hope it doesn’t happen.

About the forehead kisses, I think it’s just because of the height difference between the two of them. It happens all the time with me and my husband, we have almost the same diference as James and Joy. But I wouldn’t mind James bothering to get lower!
Loved it! It went by way too fast! Agree that we need to see more passion with Nathan and Haley. I would guess Peyton is pregnant but like a few others-maybe with some complications. Creeped me out when Sam got in that car with Q’s killer. Not sure where to go with that one! Brooke has been so good with Sam. It could go a couple different ways but I think it will be all good in the ned. Not feeling the Mouth/Millicent story line. Don’t try to make him a bad guy-or stupid guy-let him be Mouth. Maybe he will go out looking for Millie and stop the very big Owen/Millie (OMG this is so wrong) scene! Keep Jackson coming at us! Little doses of something sweet gives us a chance to breathe! I think the story lines are going to be hot and heavy, deep and maybe a little dark after the break! Since they are filming at the Crown in Fayetteville soon (we signed up as extras because they needed 300-500) I am guessing Nathan makes it! I also lean toward the coaching angle a little too. Maybe he doesn’t make it and lays it to rest but the coaching offer is still on the table? Looking forward to January!
It was just okay.
I was disappointed not to get more on Peyton and Lucas. I don’t even think they shared a scene. And everyone keeps saying this is the Leyton show but I swear this whole season the most they got was in Chad’s episode and that was a dream sequence. This year has been a lot about Brooke and her clothes line, her attack and her mother and also throw Sam in and her Owen. Then the other side has been a lot with Jamie and Q and Nathan doing his b-ball thing.
It was refreshing to see Peyton and Mia. I miss them!! And Jamie gets more stuff than Haley…so no… I don’t think it’s a Mark is only concentrated on Peyton. It seems Mark is concentrated on a lot more folks than Haley honestly.
The Dawson stuff was disjointed and the drugs weren’t needed. I did like James crack about audiences going crazy about who gets together because it was a reference to the triangle on OTH and Dawson’s Creek,lol.
I was shocked about the Sam/Brooke attacker connections. However this is so going into Peyton psycho territory and I can’t wait to see the reactions…I bet it will be like…the BEST STORY EVA…*sarcasm* but yea…talk about drama with ONE person. Sam has shoplifted from Brooke, ruined Peyton’s dress, taken Jamie out the house to a party, is friends with the guy who attacked Brooke and now is attached to his brother as well who shot Q.
Yea…I don’t want to hear that only one person gets the drama on this show.
And I thought the whole Owen giving up his sobriety for that contrived scene with Brooke was such an insult to alcoholics…all to get to Millie/Owen. Ugh. So once again Brooke will be the friend betrayed by folks she thought were close to her. Lovely.
I thought the Julian stuff was nice, not sure if they will go there with Brooke/Julian. But if they did could it put to rest this Lucas triangle and blame game. Brooke can move on. Leyton can move on.
And I think Peyton could of been told she had a miscarriage or something and it may have caused her not to have children ever. And then later on she somehow gets pregnant and it comes as a shocker. I would love that.

loved this episode. I think Owen taking a drink after 8 years wasn’t an insult to alcholics. I think mark wanted to show the audience how much he cares for brooke and how much he is hurting. Loved the nathan scenes with him playing basketball. I did find it a little weird that the only reason sam freaked out about the attack on brooke was because her friend reminded her about they did. Before that it’s like it never even crossed her mind. overall it was a great episodes and I cant wait whats ahead for leyton!!!!
Yeah I’m getting annoyed with Haley’s lack of storyline. But I’m putting faith that it will pick up after the break. I mean they should all take note that in Chad’s episode the one consistent review was Joy’s talent and the Naley love story. Hello Mark work with the gold you have!! I really feel like they don’t utilize Joy’s talents on the show. I mean she rocked the episode of Q’s funeral. I would just really love to at least see her in the recording studio or something. I mean she could have had a scene with Mia tonight.
further more I think that Julian should ask Haley to music for the movie. He doesn’t need to hit on her but that would be funny too. I’m really starting to like Julian.
Well i for one totally LOVED last nites epi. after last weeks horrible one this was refreshingly amazing. one of mi faves epis of the show forsure. I loved the Brooke and Nates storylines especially. and all the narration and stuff about Q was soo good. and i totally knew Q’s death and Brooke’s attack were some how connected. nd i love Julian nd Julian/sam interactiona dn Brulian interaction. just all in all a great epi

I absolutely loved this epidsode! I don’t know how I am going to wait till Jan to see the next one! I really think Peyton is pregnant and they are trying to throw us off by thinking she has cancer. I don’t think Mark would do that to Peyton fans. What was up with Millie and Owen, so didn’t see that coming!! I really hope she don’t loose her virginity to Owen, but I am pretty sure that will happen. Mouth deserves it he shouldve kicked GiGi to the curb a long time ago. For Sam I am really scared for her I have a feeling she will get hurt! Julian is so hot, I am loving him, I think he is really sweet guy and we just don’t know that yet. I really hope Brooke and Julian get together. I wish there was more Naley scenes but it was ok, we had Nathan playing basketball that was hot!
Did anyone see the parallel between Lucas and Dixon and the episode of Sex and the City where Carrie meets with the director (Matthew McCoughnahey) about the potential movie and he’s all jumping all over the place and creating weird storylines? This really reminded me of it.
On a separate note, how will we survive until Jan 5?! What a great episode, felt like a throwback to the first couple of seasons, which is a great respite from the past two lackluster seasons.
Tina, sam didnt know that jack was responsible for the attack. he obviously likes her and when she said that someone should put brooke in her place, she had no idea that jack (or his brother) would attack brooke. he did it to please sam, but sam didnt know. thats why he kept repeating himself to sam when he was saying “you said someone should put her in her place”
It was amazing. I want to see the next episode and find out if they get Q’s killer, does MIllicent and Owen hook up and what is actually worng with Peyton. Can’t believe I have to wait.

overall the only good scene of the night was nate playing BB. I love my Nate. He has come a long way I’m so proud of him.
I agree with pretty much everyone else in that I think Peyton is really pregnant. Maybe she was just looking at the cancer stuff because the doctor asked her if cancer was in her family. I really hope it’s not another cancer storyline.
Also, I was completely shocked by the attacker/Q’s killer reveal!

*I was totally shocked when Brooke’s attacker turned out to be someone Sam knows and more than that, that he was the guy that killed Q. Well, I guess we were all wrong when we assumed Victoria was behind the attack.
*On a higher note, Jamie was too adorable!! He was sooo cute at the talent show and looked so handsome in his little tux.
*And Nathan was just plain HOT!!! He so better get a yes call or I will be highly upset!
*I didn’t like the Owen/Brooke interaction, though. I just can’t see Owen saying something like that, especially after the time he brought Sam home from the bar and then went to the store with Brooke when Sam was throwing the party there. I think that whole thing was just to set up the potential Brooke/Julian thing. Which, by the way, I am totally a fan of at this point! Julian is just getting hotter by the minute for me, because I love a guy that puts off a front of being a jerk but is really a big softie. So right now, I’m actually rooting for Julian over Owen.
*I am so not happy about the Millie/Owen hookup. Millie and Mouth are just perfect together, and although I’m not a huge Mouth fan at the moment because he won’t really stand up to Gigi and tell her to back off, I don’t want anything like that to come between them.

Absolutely wonderful episode!!! I try to focus on the individual characters and not the ‘ships so I’m not really ever disappointed on the basis of who’s hooking up with whom. However, I really love the Breyton friendship and am always delighted to see two well-written female characters interacting without the BS of fighting over a guy.
This episode…was quite well-written, well acted and very well executed. I told my husband when Q was shot that the guy who shot Q is the same guy who attacked Brooke. I didn’t know why I thought that. It was just too convenient to have two such violent acts perpetrated so closely together in time to have it be two different people. Sophia Bush did an excellent job portraying her shock, fear, and anger in this episode. Just when Brooke seemed to be ready to let it go and move forward…BAM! It all comes full circle. INSANELY EXCITING!!!!
Peyton is a mystery. It’s one of those, cancer is too obvious so it must be pregnancy unless they want us to think that cancer is too obvious so then it’s really cancer, kind of storylines. LOL. Despite the outcome of that storyline, Hilarie Burton did a great job portraying the fear of the unknown. When she was chewing Mia a few new ones it was the fear talking, not her real self.
I have to agree with all those who are saying that the primary 5 castmembers aren’t getting enough screen time. I mean, where’s Brooke when Peyton’s contemplating the possibility of death? Where’s Petyon when Brooke’s frantically searching for Sam? It’s not like Peyton doesn’t know Sam or something. I don’t like how Schwann makes every body so isolated all the time. It bugs me. I mean, who really makes it through the bad times without picking up the phone and calling their BFF? At least Haley and Nathan get to talk to each other. SOMETIMES! LOL.
Maybe the next episode [so far, far, far, far away] will bring the characters back together again. I think the only time I’ve seen them all sitting together was at Naley’s house before Q’s funeral. What the heck?
Anyway…I’m a Brooke fan, and a Peyton fan, and a Luke fan, and a Naley fan, and for the rest of the extras…love them, but in small doses please!!!

Wow…scary end to an episode- I liked that, it wasn’t cheesy like Nanny Carrie drama but just actually quite dramatic. Didn’t like the Peyton cliffhanger but my god that guy who killed Quentin turning around in the car!!! Suspence!!!

well they said brooke was going to be facing her attacker, much like psycho derek. however, i dont think psycho derek intentionally killed someone even though he blamed his gf’s death on himself. this guy actually killed Q. and attacked Brooke. he just looked crazy.
i loved this episode. as for brucas, they will always be my number one BUT im really liking brulien!!! he is so cuteeee! i love his smile. my heart melts when he smiles. hes gorgeous! and lucas doesnt seem to give two shits about brooke, whereas brooke cares so much about both lucas and peyton that shes willing to not make the clothes for the movie based on trust issues with julien. i thought it was very funny when they both called each other perverts haha i love julien ahhh haha =D

I don’t agree with that at all Shelby. I think that Naley have great passion for each other. I just think that they are completely and utterly in love with each other and are comfortable in that love. I love their quiet yet powerful ‘I love you’s’ to each other. And the forehead kisses are showing how much he treasures her
As for the lack of sexy scenes, well that’s Marks fault he doesn’t write love scenes for any of them anymore!!!! The actors have no problem touching each other. I was at filming when they filmed the Nathan, Jamie and Haley rivercourt scene and when the cameras were off they were playing hide and seek with Jackson (atleast it looked like that from where I was standing and Joy and James were goofing around together, it was cute 
I think the only actors on this show having some trouble with touching each other would be Chad and Sophia but I still believe they would if asked to

Last night was a wild episode – especially with Sam causing that beating of Brooke – you could see she was really upset about it and couldnt stand the fact that she caused that mess – and that jerk also killed Q – I am hoping that Peyton is pregnant and not her being sick with cancer cause if she is that could prevent her from having kids. Dawson was not the Dawson we know – dawson wouldnt be snorting coke, hollywood life right – not in tree hill. Haley is as beautiful as ever. And I cant beleive Owen and Millie hook-up and Owen started his boozing again – thats bad news and I feel bad for Mouth cause he is getting the raw deal here as he didnt do anything, Gigi was behind this mess. Can’t waith til the episode arrives so what I think I am gonna do is fall asleep til January 6th – so will someone wake me please. I will be dreaming of Haley… Anyway I know that I will be having OTH withdraws… OTH ROXX

Highlights? The suprises - Brookes attacker, Millie/Owen [seriously, never in a BILLION years did I see that coming]. Also, I simply adore Jamie, so good episode in that regard…some adorable Naley interaction aswell. Lots of Brooke and Sam, which I also love. SAM HAD BEDHAIR. For once someone wakes up with bedhair in this show!! Oh and how awesome was the Julian/Lucas scene?
Okay P Sawyer, you already know what I’m going to say but, I LOVE JULIAN Lol and I am not afraid to admit it haha….
the lack of LP scenes didn’t really bug me it was just obvious that it was because they wanted to drag out the P (cancer/pregnant?) drama…
And Denise, I get what you’re saying about there being too much time spent on the extra characters, I do, but in all honesty it was vital for the cliffhanger reveals. We needed to see Sam and introduce Jack, they needed to have Julian and Sam, so that we could see the softer side of Julian, and we needed to see a little bit of Gigi and Mouth so that the writers could build up the Owen/Millie scene, and even though it felt forced we needed to see the Browen fight. And I also was not a huge fan of the piano recital turned comedy hour… they need to give Jamie less “cutsey” scenes, after a while they just tend to be pointless and exhausting. He is adorable we get, stop beating the dead horse! lol.
Over all the episode was not the best, but I really enjoyed the ending and how well planned it was.
And I almost forgot about Peyton/Mia fight …… that was pointless……..

and brucasfanm i dont want peyton to be preggers. it really makes my hopes for brucas low when i hear that she is pregnant. but its already been confirmed that she is pregnant and deals with complications of the pregnancy. soo im guessing yes she is pregnant, but cancer could be stopping her from actually having the baby? something like that is what my guess is.

i totally agree brulian. everyone knows i love brucas, but i cant help it im really loving brulian. i dont know anymore if i want brooke with this new, im too old and serious for anything lucas. i miss the old highs chool lucas i fell in love with. just my opinion.

We won’t see a Peyton cancer story at all, I think shes pregnant, and thats the news. The photo of her and Ellie was symbolic because it was Peyton as a newborn with her mom. The questions, the “cancer” website, I honestly think its all a ploy to try to take your mind off the real story (Peyton is pregnant!)
Brulian, oh my goshh, that would be sooo cute. But I agree with Nicole on, Peyton doesnt have cancer. Because they cant make one of the main 5 die, and it would be just so out of the story line if Peyton had cancer, and another thing going on. Anyways I think Peyton was calling Lucas at the end of the episode to tell him that she is pregnant!
I honestly think, the doctor spooked Peyton so she looked up some stuff on cancer and then when he called he told her she was pregnant. I think it was Lucas on the phone and she was telling him she is pregnant.
