Hey Korbi, thanks for the One Tree Hill interview with Mark Schwahn this week. I cannot believe how crazy some of the fan comments are, fighting over story lines and stuff. I think Mark and the show are awesome. -Grace
Indeed! The man is doing somethin’ right: with the two extra hours The CW tacked on to this season, One Tree Hill will now surpass Dawson’s Creek in number of episodes. Interesting fact, no?
Someone made a rude comment about Mouth on your One Tree Hill posting. Well, I love Lee Norris and I want more scoop on him! -KJ
Will some hair and makeup info do? Well, more about the hair, really. Did you dig the way Mr. Marvin McFadden looked in last week’s 1940’s ep? Because I did and so did Mark Schwahn. I guess the stylists gave Mouth a weave to accomplish that old-school look and it worked so well on Lee that it’s going to stick. Mark was like, isn’t it funny how Lucas could have a dream and when he wakes up Mouth’s real-life hair is just as he imagined it?!

I totally agree with Grace, Mark is an amazing guy and he really doesn’t get enough credit from us fans. I mean we wouldn’t have a show if it wasn’t for him!!! I think all the storylines are great and even though Haley (my absolute fav) doesn’t really have anything going on. I love the fact that she is being there for Nathan and Jamie and that she likes being the loving wife and mother, it suits her
She is still teaching and occasionally doing her music, she is happy and that should make the fans happy

Some rating info, but I would want to know the ratings in millions…
ABC started out of the gate strong at 8 p.m. with a 12.5/19 for “Dancing With the Stars.” CBS came in second with a 6.1/9 for “Big Bang Theory” and “How I Met Your Mother.” NBC finished third with a 4.0/6 for “Chuck,” while FOX’s “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” was fourth with a 2.9/4. The CW’s “One Tree Hill” repeat was fifth.

It is AMAZING how people can criticize Mark Schwan, when this show has delivered record increases this season and some of it best ratings. As was stated in the Q&A, Obvisouly, whatever Mark’s vision was and has been, is resonating with viewers big time. He has injected new life into this show and people are tuning in each week to watch OTH. That speaks volumes.
It is sad that Mark has to deal with narrow minded views and clearly the opinions of people in the minority.
What is not to like about this season, and kudos to Mark and the entire OTH cast and crew for making Monday nights at 9PM appointment television for me.

Curleyforever, these ratings are based on number of homes viewing. Advertisers target specific demographic groups for specific shows. In the case of OTH, they would look predominanty at Females 12-17, 18-24 and 18-34. The problem with looking at homes, is that many times a very high rating can be attributed to older demo groups watching (50+). I would be curious to see how the shows stack up in the demos. Addtionally, these are Live Ratings, and there is a good chance that people who DVR OTH would increase their ratings (when that data comes out).
DWS finale defintely has an affect this Monday.

its sad to think people would rather watch “dancing with desperate famewhores” than our beloved show. haha.

LOL, sad but true.
Usually people tune into DWS early on, drop off somewhere in between and tune back in last two episodes.
