And did anyone stick around to see the 10 o clock news. This lady kidnapped this little girl she cared for and babysat and police think she was copying OTH when Nanny Carrie kidnapped Jamie. They said she reserched that scence before she took the girl. Isnt that crazzzzy? It was just on CW11 news.

If they didnt even give us a real 6×13 promo, then the chance of a 6×13 sneak peak, um not so good. Maybe they will give us one on Friday if were lucky. If they want more viewers, they gotta give more promos and sneak peaks.

The One Tree Hill needs to get their act together on this Promotion thing. One Tree Hill needs a promo. I can’t believe for the past month there wasn’t one. I think all of the CW shows have one by now for returning Episodes. I don’t really know why OTH doesn’t.

so is it just me, or is it annoying anyone else that Brucas is even an option in these polls when they aren’t even a couple anymore, and they haven’t been one for like 3 seasons now lol. i don’t know… it’s just annoying when these polls act like they’re still a couple or something. nathan and haley, lucas and peyton, and mouth and millie all make sense.. but lucas and brooke?? there hasn’t been a lucas and brooke in a long time… i don’t know, maybe it’s just me! lol

I’m so annoyed by the no promo thing that I’m not even going to bother voting. I guess we should just hope for a surprise promo or a sneak peek and if we don’t get it, we’ll just have another week to go until the new ep.

I don’t care for Polls. I’m just annoyed with the lack of Promos for this show. While every other damn show has at least about 2 and OTH has none for the past month. Other shows got theirs like the 2nd of break. I know that OTH are doing their own Promos this season, but damn they need something with new scenes. Instead of same old boring ones. That isn’t going to get anyone excited about tuning in.

Okay, thought of this. A lot of times the ads tend to forshadow a bit. Example, pediasure commercial, and the clearblue pregnancy test one. Okay they never advertise that durring OTH. Just a thought. Think about it.

about the promos thing i really think that oth gets overlooked even though they get as much viewers as gossip girls but is so much more popular for some reason. oth beats gg anyday :]

I noticed the pregnancy test too, and I thought it was interesting product placement.
I can’t believe there wasn’t a promo. They must really just not give a crap anymore. I don’t see how they could be looking toward a season 7 at this point.

vivian i know that brucas still has fans, i was just saying that its annoying to ME that we still hear about brucas as much as we do, as if they’re still a couple or something, or have been a couple recently. again though, that’s just my Leyton-fan opinion. if the roles were reversed and Brucas was the couple that was engaged, i’m sure Brucas fans would be sick of hearing about Leyton if they hadn’t been a couple for 3 seasons

lol tess i’m not even going to respond to that comment referring to Brucas having the bigger fanbase… talk about ignorant. no one will ever know which fanbase is bigger… period. internet polls don’t mean anything. just like Brucas has won some polls, Leyton has also won other polls. unless there is one official poll where EVERY one tree hill fan votes for their couple, no one will EVER know which fanbase is bigger. and i’m not bitter about anything actually, just annoyed by people still listing Brucas as a “couple” when they haven’t been a couple in a long time… and i have every right to be annoyed by it

LeytonTLA i totally agree! and brucas fans would feel the same way we do if brucas was the couple that were together. if brucas was engaged, and leyton hadn’t been together for 3 seasons (or like 5 years in the show), then brucas fans would be very annoyed if leyton was still being talked about as much as brucas is now, as if they were a couple if they aren’t. brucas fans would be JUST as “over” Leyton as we are about brucas. i dont know though, let brucas fans have their polls, they’re all that they have left at this point lol

Voting polls always create arguments!! I think Brucas have a right to be up there, because they still have a large fan base, and they don’t want to be ignored. Just because the couple isn’t around much anymore, doesn’t mean the SHIP doesn’t exist anymore. And the poll is counting votes for the favourite SHIP, not current couples.
As for the promo’s, I really wish we would get one, I was expecting one last night or something. Gossip girl has got like three promos, one of which was about a minute, and a sneak peek. Whereas, OTH have only got the promo’s from a few weeks ago with no new clips. But, on the bright side, everything will be completely fresh when we watch it, and I can’t wait!

Well if you look at the other shows there are couples that aren’t together. For instance it has Nate paired with Blair and they aren’t together so just chill people! You’ve got your Leyton so who cares if we still talk about Brucas.

Including BL in the polls doesn’t really make sense to me. It’s like why don’t we throw Peyton and Nathan in there too. Hell, even Skillz and Deb. Where are they at? Or Mouth and Gigi?
I’m not a huge fan of polls anyways. BL fans are always all over them and people act like their ship is endgame or has more fans depending on who wins.

Um….I didn’t imagine those couples….They were all actually couples.
There is obviously still a huge and overly loud BL fanbase, but BL are not a couple anymore and there have been no indications that that will change anytime soon.
If they were choosing by popularity then where is Jake and Peyton? They have a pretty large fanbase, themselves.

there is obviously still a huge bl fanbase and they are always all over different polls and forums. They will be until the show is over and even after. Even if the show ends with Lucas and Peyton living the blissed out white picket fence American Dream, BL will always wins by a nose or win by a landslide, because of the amount of BL fans who hang out online.
There is nothing sad or telling about this poll at all. Its actually pretty normal.
Although I do agree about LP being a little painful to watch and I don’t think they are too cheesy. NH win that prize imo everytime. I just happen to think CMM is a really crappy actor and Hilarie as much as I ADORE that woman, is not much better. The whole show has become a bit painful to watch and I only keep up with what is going on online. When the show is actually on I always doing something else with one eye on the screen.
This show has run its course for me and it won’t return to its prior goodness.

I’m not trying to be mean but I think it’s rather disrespectful to have Brucas as a option.
I don’t care if leyton is leading now. I think it’s wrong to have them up there.

And I don’t care if they have a fanbase. Fact is fact. They are not together. Jeyton had a huge fanbase and that option is not up there.

totally agree Chloeeeeeee_x! plus the fact that Mark has told us himself that the triangle is “romantically over”. and lila i know it’s hard for Brucas fans, i know it would be hard on me if i were in your shoes. but at the same time, i would try to not necessarily move on from Brucas, but i would try to accept the idea that Lucas COULD end up with someone other than Brooke. i think the more you hold on to what Brucas WAS, i think it’s just going to make it that much harder on you if (or when) they don’t end up together. i know that’s probably easier said than done, but that’s what i would be doing if i were a Brucas fan… just trying to accept the possibility of Lucas and Brooke ending up with other people

To say it is disrespectful to include BL in the poll is a stretch.
But it does make sense that some people would be confused that they would be included in the poll seeing as they haven’t been a couple for over two seasons, despite the fanbase they have.
Jake and Peyton were a couple so why aren’t they on the list? Or Lindsey and Lucas although their fanbase is significantly smaller.
I think LP fans are in a different position than BL fans are now, because although we know what it’s like to have our ship ignored, we also had the benefit of knowing that LP would happen eventually.
I think a lot of LP fan frustration is that BL fans don’t see the difference. There was always hints that LP would get back together, while BL fans don’t have that luxury and have nothing to hold onto aside from things Lucas said to Brooke and then took back.
I’m not saying you shouldn’t hope, but to the lp fan it seems baseless.
I personally don’t care how many times they put BL on relationship polls because there is no evidence that they will ever happen again…unless Peyton dies.

Ella, well said from both perspective. But I disagree with you on one point; Lucas POSSIBLY ending up with broke IF Peyton dies. I mean, why would a guy, who just lost the love of his life, end up getting back together, with his ex, which also happens to be his dead wife’s best friend, and the girl he cheated one. O.o! The mind boggles.
No disrespect to BL fans because I know how it feel [S5 was painful for LPers], but the way I see it is, Broke and Lucas are over romantically, but will always have a close friendship.

How is some obscure couples poll on a website that has nothing to do with OTH supposed to give you hope? Does Portrait Magazine know something we don’t? I doubt it.

It’s funny I haven’t even hear of the magazine, but I look it up and found out why I have never. Because it’s not an actual Magazine. It’s just a website that’s designed to look and function like a teen magazine. It’s for tv-shows/teen celebrities fans. It’s run by High School and College students around the world. So that’s why I never heard of it before, and if it isn’t something I can buy off a stand. I Don’t really give a rat ass about.
Either way all this fighting is really useless to tell you the truth. Because it polls like these are pretty meaningless, and just the same people willing to sit at their computer and vote 24/7. So it’s whatever to me. But hey whatever floats LPers/BLers/NHers boats I guess. (not saying all fans).

umm no… you saying Lindcas is over does not hurt lol. we’re not even talking about them… the difference is that i’m not on here saying that Lucas and Lindsey are going to get back together, so there’s no reason for you to tell me that they’re over. since i’m a Lindcas fan, of course i’m secretly HOPING that they’ll get back together somehow, but i’m not going to make myself sound stupid and say “they WILL get back together”. so yes, there’s a difference here. when Brucas fans get on here and say “of course Brucas will get back together”, i’m sorry but i think they’re just asking for a wake up call. the fact that they still have fans really just means nothing. they can have as many fans as they want to… but Mark’s not going to put them back together JUST because they have fans. at this point, reuniting Brucas would make NO sense. the show’s storyline just isn’t in their favor at this point. Leyton is getting married, AND having a baby… like come on.
i just think it’s WAY past time for Brucas fans to start moving on. if you all want to hope they’ll get back together, then of course you have every right to do that. but when you all say things like “of course they’ll end up together”, i’m sorry but that just sounds ridiculous at this point lol. 3. I don’t understand what the hell is wrong with you if you’re annoyed or depressed that Brucas is an option in this poll. Polls are made to collect people’s opinions about something. Wonna my opinion? Brucas is still the best couple. Period.

and just ONE more thing lol… i have to say that i think it’s pretty obvious that Brooke and CHASE are going to end up together, not her and Lucas. i mean think about it… how many times has Mark randomly brought Chase back, like 3?? and each time it has something to do with Brooke. and now he’s bringing him back AGAIN to be with Mia… like what the hell?? there’s gotta be a reason why he keeps randomly showing up.
the FIRST time he popped up, he just happended to be living with Brooke’s current boyfriend. the SECOND time he came back, he came to tell Brooke to call him if she needs a husband. and now it looks like this Mia thing is just another excuse to bring him back into the picture AGAIN. why else would they have him just show up every now and then?? it’s just weird. there’s gotta be something behind his whole storyline that we haven’t seen yet, because so far his appearances have been kind of pointless. SO yeah, i’m calling it… it’ll be Brooke and Chase in the end, not Brucas! there’s gotta be a reason why they keep bringing his character back.

I totally agree with others that have said why even bother commenting back. I don’t see why LPers even bother responding back to each other. Just let it go. Let BLers go on and on. I frankly don’t give rats ass/crap about all OTH ships. But…
If I was an LP fan I would just not respond at all. Take into the fact you guys have what matters the most LP are together/Happy starting a family and getting Married. Just remember that. They are on your screen and living.
You guys are getting what matter the most and nothing is going to change that no polls, no bribing, no attack Mark at Charity Games, etc…. Nothing, all you did was be Patience and it’s paying off. So If I were you guys I would just ignore everything else and not respond.

AlwaysBRUCAS, i actually have to agree with LindcasFan on this one… at this point Lindcas reuniting would even make WAY more sense than Brucas. we haven’t heard anything about Brucas romantically in what like… 3 seasons now, or 5 years in the show? where as we JUST saw Lindcas not even a whole season ago. Lucas just spent ALL of season 5 chasing after Lindsey, and he just now started moving on from her this season. it would make perfect sense for Mark to throw in little comments about Brucas (such as their NY kiss) just to keep the Brucas fans interested and throw them a bone, since Mark has said many times that he doesn’t want to alienate the Brucas fanbase.
Brucas is just much more in the past than Lindcas is. plus, Brooke and Lucas have had complete closure, a while ago (after the bball banquet)… Lucas and Lindsey never really got that closure. not that i’m doubting that Leyton will last or anything, but i do agree that if Lucas were to get back together with anyone OTHER than Peyton at this point, i can definitely see it being Lindsey before Brooke. i’m sorry to say it, but i think Brooke is the very last option for Lucas at this point lol

i just think that being rude is kind of pointless, being rude isn’t going to get your point across any better. but with that being said, i still can’t see Lucas proposing to Brooke after he has proposed twice to Peyton, is now engaged to Peyton, and they are now expecting a baby.
i mean maybe i’m wrong and Mark will pull something out of his little magic writers hat or something, but i really can’t see Mark being able to successfully pull off a Brucas reunion at this point. as others have said, i think too much damage has been done to Brucas for them to all of a sudden make sense again as a couple

woooooooow guys. I remember arguments like this in elementary school. I really do. This is insane. You should ALL be nicer in the new year.
As an LP fan I don’t actually care if BL wins every best couples poll on the internet. Nor do I care that they’re included in the polls. I just don’t think it is indicative of anything that is happening or will happen on the show.
LP are a couple now and there is no indication that they will not end the show with them as a couple so BL fans can whoop about some obscure websites poll all they want and say LP losing makes them less epic(um really?). The truth is LP fans would be doing the same thing.
Since Peyton and Nathan are still on the show, there is still a Lathan/ Peythan? just as there is still a brucas. And there is hope for them to get back together as well if that is some BL fans reasoning.
What I find funny, aside from some to be adults fighting like 9 year olds about fictional people is some BL fans abilities to respond to some LP comments(and by that I mean the rude ones) and ignore the ones that make logical sense. But then again I have never seen a lot of logic in any BL and some LP arguments.

very well said Ella. the point you made about there no longer being a Brathan or Peythan, even though the characters are still on the show, was brilliant. if that’s true for those couples, then why should Brucas be any different? yes their INDIVIDUAL characters still exist, but them as a couple does not, and hasn’t for a long time.
at the end of the day… it’s Leyton. at least it is for right now. all the Brucas fans celebrating about their couple winning in a few polls, isn’t going to bring them back to the show. but… whatever works for ya i guess.

u know to start with time…Leyton havent been together in over 3 years
and he was with Lindsay. now hes with Peyton but BROOKE was still a choice not
too long ago. Brucas is still sometimes linked together romantically, like this season
Peyton talks about that tattoo he got WHEN HE WAS GOING OUT WITH BROOKE
yea it was 4 years ago but Leyton also just got together after being apart for 3 years.
lol as for Mark throwing bones, he said he’s not going to give us anymore bones

a purple monkey like that of her own. now this season you already know all the BL things that
have been mentioned except the dream sequence. both LL and LP dreams seemed right
but the BL dream was so off. they made it look like both were work-oriented and that
they had no time for family/friends when thats not even true. tshi season Brooke lost
her company and all last season she wanted to have a baby…i dont see Lucas’ logic in this at all
and his 1940’s eppy made it look like Brooke was jealous because of Leyton
but in the end she tried saving both of them and turned the gun on Dan remember…
Lucas said he’d save Brooke if she promised to save him back or something…i just dont get
if Brucas was actually over, why would Lucas still have her like that in his dream,
as a girl that is still in love with him?…
Lindcas did get closure. she told him she lied when she told him she was seeing someone
and he still called Peyton. hes now suddenly engaged to Peyton and when he told her
she accepted that BECAUSE she said “that was the couple she was rooting for in the book”
now the book is being made into a movie and maybe we’ll see why she rooted for Leyton
and not Brucas…how exactly did Lucas even write in Brucas in the novel?

lol ALL that stuff DOESN’T MATTER!!!! you know why??? because it was like a million years ago!!!! god this is so ridiculous. the reason the BL dream was so “off”, is because that’s how their relationship really was. it was off. all 3 dreams were incredibly accurate. they did a great job of showing how each relationship was in real life.
the Leyton dream was typical Leyton… just comfortable and content. the Lindcas dream was typical Lindcas, again, just comfortable and happy. the Brucas dream however, was TOTALLY Brucas!! while Leyton/Lindcas talked about how happy they were, and how they deserve great things, Brucas was talking about “coming home being sexy” and Brooke wanting to make sure she liked her presents. Brucas’ relationship was COMPLETELY materialistic and sexual. and Lucas’ dream portrayed that PERFECTLY. i don’t see how anyone can watch them and think they’re cute. it’s really superficial and disturbing.
and no, while you think Lindcas got closure, they also threw in a lot of hints in that episode that could be taken as signs that they’re not done. but Brucas has been NOTHING but friendship since season 4!!!! Peyton making remarks about them as a couple does not make them romantically involved, that’s the stupidest thing i’ve ever heard. so yes… Lindsey is for sure an option before Brooke.

AlwaysBRUCAS, i really truly did try and read your post to understand where you are coming from… i even read it twice, and even after that, it still doesn’t make much sense to me. the only thing that i really was able to fully comprehend from your post, and agree with, was the part about the Brucas dream sequence. you’re right… the dream showed them as being far from a happy couple. and i think that means something, because we have to remember one thing, the dreams were from LUCAS’ point of view, it’s how Lucas pictured his life with each of the girls. so according to Lucas himself, he knew that he wouldn’t be truly happy with Brooke, just like he has never been truly 100% happy with her or has never been able to fully give his heart to her completely, which is why he didn’t pick her.
and as for the rest of your post goes, if that is how you have interpreted the past few seasons for Brucas, then i guess that’s just how you interpreted them. but while some of the things you mentioned DID happen (quotes between Brucas, the purple monkey, Brooke seeing the ring first, Lucas being there for angie), i don’t think any of it means that Brucas isn’t over. i think those things that you talked about were either things from their PAST as a couple, that aren’t relevant anymore, or they are things from the recent couple of seasons that represent their FRIENDSHIP.
overall, i think a lot of your explanation is just your Brucas point of view, that is extremely streched to make it seem like Brucas isn’t over… when really, none of those points proved that Brucas is still ROMANTICALLY relevant. i think your points talked a lot about their romantic history from high school, and a lot about their FRIENDSHIP in the present, but i didnt see anything that made me believe that they could be anything more than friends in the future

lol AlwaysBRUCAS you are ridiculous. you tell me to state facts… when EVERYTHING you’ve said about Brucas is just how YOU interpret things. they aren’t facts. just because Brooke gave Lucas a freakin purple monkey doesn’t mean they’ll get back together. so i’m sorry but you’re the dumb one if you really think that’s true.

I have to defend LeytonTLA, because some of your comments were just uncalled for and incredibly rude. What you stated were not facts, but merely interpretations to facts. There is a difference that LeytonTLA and Lindcas both recognize, yet you fail to do so.
I am not trying to convince you that BL is over although in my own opinion they are and it is best that they are, because judging by Lucas’s dream about what he thinks his life with Brooke would be like, he doesn’t think too highly of a relationship with her.
All that Purple Monkey and Angie business, in my opinion, was Mark setting it up so that it wasn’t completely off the wall when he he set up that Vegas cliffhanger.

I assume all BL fans are huge Brooke fans and we can all agree that season 5 and 6 Brooke is incredibly awesome and so much better than the Brooke of prior seasons. So what baffles me is BL fans wanting Brooke to compromise that goodness by getting together with Lucas, despite her telling Peyton in season 5 that her and Lucas are meant to be together. Even Brooke thinks BL is over and LP is endgame.
Brooke will always have a soft spot in her heart for Lucas because for her he was her first love and one of the first person to see through her insecurities, which coincidentally didn’t stop him from being there for Peyton.
Brooke is a character who is looking for something epic from herself and wants to find a man strong enough to catch her when she falls. Lucas had proved that he isn’t that guy for her even though he said “I’m the guy for you,” he took it back.
Brooke being affected when Lucas kissed her out of desperation and drunkenness doesn’t equate to true love always. It’s Lucas hopping on Brooke when Peyton breaks his heart like he did in season one.
1940s Brooke was not in love with Lucas. It just seemed like they had a fun fling and nothing more. Brooke’s actions towards the end of the episode just mirror the kind of person she is. She was someone who was struggling and then turned a new leaf. I don’t know how you managed to turn that into BL is back on.
Brooke didn’t go into Luke’s hospital room because it wasn’t that long ago that they were all still at odds and she realized that beside Lucas wasn’t her place anymore. That same episode she told Lucas to come back for Peyton.
And after all the history between BLP I would think Brooke would feel weird walking in on Lucas and Peyton doing it. And Lucas didn’t go after her. Peyton was the one who was worried about her afterwards.
A lot of what you mentioned actually did happen a long time ago. Remember how it’s a television show? Five year gap between the end of high school and where we are on the show now.
Also, it would be wise to mention that all of your “facts” involve Brooke and what her feelings “may” be. Where is Lucas in all of this? You can’t have a couple when one of them is in love with someone else. In fact I think Mark proved that when he ended the triangle of drama.
Have your hope, but please know what you are talking about before you start telling people who have taken the time to read your post twice just to respond that they need to go back to school.

My being a fan of LP does not make some of your statements any less rude.
In that 1940s episode, Brooke Lucas and Peyton were never even in the same scene until the very end of that episode, so I’m not sure where you are getting the Brooke stepped out of the way for them comment from. In your earlier post you wrote Brooke was in love with Lucas and now you write she cared about him. Please make up your mind. They are not the same thing.
Just because he said those words to here once doesn’t mean they are true forever as you seem to think, especially when those words are taken back. Clearly you have never been in love. Love does not mean jumping through hoops and ‘fighting’ for someone. It doesn’t always have to be difficult. Lucas asked Peyton to marry him. He wrote two books about her. He doesn’t need to fight for her because she was right there waiting.
Yes, there is a difference between what one does and says. Despite what may have happened under the heavy influence of alcohol Lucas’s actions and his words have always said that he is in love with Peyton.
You have ignored every point I made by asking me a ludicrous question. No I am obviously not Brooke, honey. She is not real. Brooke’s stance in season 5, and she said this herself that being the one between Lucas and Peyton was not a fun place to be and the sooner everyone realized it the better.

There was drama, but that didn’t keep LP from coming back together and now they are engaged. On the other hand Peyton got between Brooke and Lucas and they could not get past that. I don’t remember saying LP was epic, but I’d say they’ve got a fairer chance of making it against the odds than BL did or do.
Honey, LP fans did not pop up out of the abyss. We have always been here just as BL fans have always been here and will continue to be here. I am not arguing against your right to ship a couple using faulty logic. Do what you want. I don’t actually care.
It is quite obvious everything you said was not a fact. I am fully aware of that because I was the one that told you. If you still cannot differentiate a fact from your own interpretation of fact then I simply can’t help you. Or perhaps you aren’t old enough to understand the difference.

I responded to everything Brucasalways said and if you do not see that, it seems like you’re the one who is ignoring what LP fans are saying.
The reason everything Brucasalways says sounds ridiculous is because her points were not good at all. 1. I’m not ignoring what Lp is saying. If I don’t answer it means that I don’t wonna get involved or that I agree. Mostly I just disagree with LP because of different visions.
2. I’m not gonna write a “reasonable argument as some leyton fan being mean or not listening” – That’s ridiculous!
3. How am I not listening? Because I disagree with Lp or because I understand what AlwaysBrucas is saying?
4 The statement was that Lindcas had more chance to get together than Brucas and AlwaysBrucas pointed out some things that could imply BL getting back together (if you don’t see it or don’t understand it I’m not saying that you’re not listening ). I agreed with AlwaysBrucas that BL had more chance than LL because M. Mandus was away from OTH and Lindcas got closure , it seemed for me to be done with that couple, Brucas on the other hand don’t have closure (explained in my next point) so I thought it made more sense
5. This is a point that that you asked for where I’m agreeing with AlwaysBRUCAS’ comment .
Just like her I don’t think that episode 408 can be seen as closure. If you’ve seen 505 and BL meeting-dinner-carriage -kiss-you won’t see me-he might be the only guy I lost it for-scene I believe Brooke definitely is still feeling something big for Lucas. I would agree with you that Mark brought BL back at the end of season 5 only for a cliffhanger if Lucas didn’t saw Brooke in his dream at the beginning of season 6, but he saw her and so all the things that happened at the end of season 5 ( Angie, purple monkey and other stuff) had a meaning for me. I saw Lucas’ interpretation of BL and for me what he thinks about her and who she really is now were not the same things so obviously he’s wrong about Brooke. I’ll admit that we have almost nothing to base BL relationship on in season 6, but that’s because of the lack of scenes. (I’ve read your answer to her post so don’t bother reposting)

okay AlwaysBRUCAS, who on earth do you think you are telling me that i need to take an english class JUST because i didn’t think the things that you said made any sense? there were quite a few people that agreed with me. just because we don’t agree with what you said, that doesn’t mean that we need to go to school and take an english class. i didn’t mean that i literally didn’t comprehend the english of your post, i meant that none of it made sense to me, as far as those statements meaning that Brucas isn’t over… there’s a difference.
the point is that NONE of those things you listed proves that Brucas will/could get back together. they were all things that represented their PAST relationship, or their relationship as FRIENDS. i’m sorry but there is no comparisson between FACTS that say Leyton will end up together… and FACTS that say Brucas will end up together, and i think you know that. If I was an LP fan I would just not respond at all. Take into the fact you guys have what matters the most LP are together/Happy starting a family and getting Married. Just remember that. They are on your screen and living.

Actually i think it would be disrespectful to all of us brucas fans if they weren’t an option considering we’ve held on this long & they wouldnt be in the poll if there wasn’t a chance. By the looks of things, brucas kicks ass. leytons boring. Get over it, they’ll soon come to an end. Soon the producers will realize that, like when the ratings start dropping. But if they’re tryna find a way to end the show, Leyton is a great way.
BTW: If you really think nothing is going to go wrong with leyton, youve gotta think about it again. Mark wouldn’t of said in his interview that there still wasn’t a chance for brookeandlucas. Whether its because the show will lose loads of fans or not. And Lucas can’t get married! Like i said, only way that could happen is if they were ending the show.

Uhh do you know who the producer is?? Lol the one who you say will “realize that Leyton has to come to an end”… it’s Mark. Ya know… Mark… the same guy who “has known from the beginning that Leyton is meant to be together”. Those were his (the PRODUCER’S and CREATOR’S and WRITER’S) exact words. Call me crazy but… doesn’t really sound like he wants Leyton to go anywhere lol. He’s had a vision of what he’s wanted HIS show to be since the PILOT… the pilot was about Leyton… and it’s STILL about Leyton. They’re engaged and having a baby. I think we all need to come to terms with the fact that it’s about them now.
We don’t have to like it, because trust me, I’m not a Leyton fan. However… the whole point of this season’s premiere was for Lucas to pick a girl FOR GOOD. And guess what guys… HE PICKED PEYTON! Mark wouldn’t go through the trouble of reunting Leyton AGAIN, just to split them up AGAIN. The whole “pick one” storyline this season was done for a reason, it’s because he’s finally PICKED ONE. They wouldn’t have made it that big of a deal if Lucas was just going to take off again with someone else. So yeah… he reunited Leyton, and now they’re starting a familly. Doubt they’re going anywhere anytime soon…

“pick one” storyline was in the first episode of season 6 and isnt there a second part to that episode? im sorry but i dont think he’s actually picked yet. remember that guy said he made a great/good choice but he never said he made the right choice. i believe brooke is the queen of hearts, as do many other ppl…soo i dont think leyton is really endgame. mark said he had a vision of leyton from the pilot but things changed and brucas became bigger and u know maybe he changed his mind you never know. im not mark and neither are you. it would make all sense for brucas to be endgame. no sense at all if leyton was. i mean at this point i can see how leyton can be endgame but i really dont think he’d give away “endgame” so soon. besides, why would he say “anything can happen in tree hill” (while on the brucas/leyton topic) if brucas wasnt ever going to happen again. i have much reason to believe that brucas will be endgame. but lets just watch and enjoy the show for now =]

he said anything can happen because he HAS to throw you guys a bone somewhere! if he flat out says Brucas isn’t coming back then he loses half of his fanbase. he has no choice but to say stuff like that.
and YES Lucas did say he made a good choice. when he was sitting in the airport he flat out said “i know i made the right choice”. how can you not remember that? and you can say that you think it makes sense for Brucas to be endgame (which i will never understand by the way), but to say it makes no sense for Leyton to be endgame is absolutely absurd. i personally hate Leyton but they have kept coming back to eachother SINCE THE FIRST EPISODE!!! i hate that couple soooo much, but even i can see that they’re soulmates. but… i’m not getting into that again lol.
the “pick one” storyline has been done, and it was done for a reason. they wouldn’t do all that just to say forget it later on. there was a point to it. Lucas has to grow up and settle down sometime… and call me crazy but usually when you get married and have a kid, that’s settling down. which is what he’s doing with PEYTON. he had his chance to pick Brooke, or even Lindsey, and he didn’t. he picked ONE… and that one was Peyton.

and as far as giving away “endgame” so soon… how in the world is it soon? we’re in the 6th season now lol… the Lucas love mess has been dragged out for the entire series. that’s why they FINALLY had the “pick one” episode. everyone got tired of Lucas changing his mind all the damn time, and Mark knew that. i don’t think he would get BACK into that mess when the whole point of that episode was to get out of it.

Mark wouldn’t have spent the whole 5th season building up to a Leyton reunion in season 6, JUST to split them up again. and Mark wouldn’t have had Lucas propose to Peyton TWICE, and write TWO books about his love for her, JUST to split them up again. i understand if Brucas fans are refusing to accept the facts… but come on, at some point you have to start using common sense lol

haha thanks Jess. that’s exactly the point i was trying to get across. NO ONE is more depressed about Leyton being together than me… trust me lol i’m definitely not a fan of them. BUT… reuniting them again took a lot of thought and planning on Mark’s part. he wouldn’t do all of that just to have them split up again. if he was going to have them end up with other people… then why would he even bother putting them back together this season?? he wouldn’t. plus… his first proposal to Peyton went wrong, they wouldn’t give the SAME couple TWO failed engagements. this time around they’re gonna do it right. i’m definitely not happy about it lol… but like you said… it’s just common sense at this point, no matter who you’re a fan of! it’s just obvious at this point that if Mark didn’t want Leyton to be together, he wouldn’t have brought them back together AGAIN. it’s for a reason.

EXACTLY!!! that’s what annoys me about Brucas fans. it’s like they have EVERY right to love Brucas… that’s just a matter of personal preference. everyone can like who they like. but i personally feel that 9 times out of 10, when they try to back up something they’re saying, they’re not using ANYTHING that’s actually happening in the show now. it’s either ALL from the past high school years, which isn’t even relevant anymore. OR it’s just how THEY interpret something, which is not fact at all. that’s something that all the Leytoners have on the Brucas fans. there are CLEAR facts to back up Leyton’s fate, but there aren’t any for Brucas at all. like i seriously can’t think of one. so when one of their fans actually states some FACTS, and not just wishful thinking, then i’ll start to take them a little more seriously! saying “i believe” or “i think” or “i want” doesn’t prove anything.

I was simply responding to your post. I’m not sure what it is about my post that you couldn’t handle. Maybe it was the length.
My grammar comment was originally directed at BrucasAlways who you were defending. Weird logic aside, her rude comments to LeytonTLA were my main qualm. If you were reading her comment then you had to have seen her telling LeytonTLA repeatedly that she was pretty much an idiot, when she is making mistakes about the show and screwing up her own grammar and spelling, etc. I had to assume you were extending my comments to her by mentioning you own writing skills. There is no other logical explanation for you to write such a comment in my opinion.
I never cared for Linsdey and Lucas so I had no part of that argument. Although I do think Brooke and Lucas as a couple got closure. But there are indications that Brooke still has residual feelings. Those feelings however do not mean they as a coupl didn’t get closure. As far as Lucas is concerned they’re done. If anyone needed closure it was Brooke. Mostly I think she just needed more time to get over Luke and it is clear that she has done that as she is one of LP’s biggest cheerleaders now.
I understand your need to protect a fellow BL fan. I do not understand how you agree with many of her points, but I have a different interpretation of what is going on on the show. I don’t agree with everything LP fans have to say.
I just don’t understand anyone saying they don’t get LP. I can even understand them not seeing any chemistry or are too sappy as a reason for disliking them, but when people get into the show and try to explain why Lucas isn’t actually in love with Peyton it just seems like trying to light a fire with an empty match book. He has written two books about her, has come back “from the dead” for her, has professed his undying love for her to the world, and he is engaged to her.
Say what you want about hoping BL will get back together, but denying there is no real love between LP is downright silly. But people see what they want to see and block out what they don’t. I’ve heard so many Brucas is going to be “endgame” cuz leyton sucks and are boring arguments that it is too ovbious that a normal conversation or adult argument is impossible.
The words ‘endgame’ and ‘maverick’ are definitely two words I don’t ever want to hear or see again.
I think I’m just going to stick to looking at spoilers from now on.

It is possible to have an argument without throwing insults around or plugging your ears and yelling “La la la I can’t hear you.” I’ve done it. It’s okay to disagree.
Maturity is a lot of things. It does not always mean walking away, however which is how you seem to define maturity. Yeah, sometimes it means walking away when its just about yourself or…television, but I was raised to believe it meant staying to fight when it meant sticking up for someone else. I stepped up because AlwaysBRUCAS was out of line with LeytonTLA. She was being rude and lashing out for no good reason. I don’t consider insecurity a reason for rudeness. Also, AlwaysBRUCAS got a few of her facts wrong about the show, so I was just clearing that up as well.
If that makes me a five year old…well I’d like to meet the children you know, because it seems like they have more going for them maturity-wise than a few people on here.
You may respond well, or you may not. Either way, no worries. I don’t like arguing with teenagers anyway and there is just way too much trouble in the world to stay here and try to be civil when someone on the other side refuses civility.

I don’t ship BL so I didn’t freak out but the whole time I couldn’t stop rolling my eyes. Mark is seriously desperate to have the Brucas fans give up on them and jump ship. He’ll discredit the relationship in every way he possibly can. Sometimes I think he hates BL fans for not seeing his ‘vision’ and hence puts all sorts of crap in Brooke’s mouth, trying to slight them more than he already has, even though they continue to support the show and a couple, let me remind Marky-poo, that he created. How do you figure Leyton is second place in amount of fans? Is that because of this dumb poll that has nothing to do with anything? A statement like that is just asking for another stupid argument.
Just because there MAY be more BL fans doesn’t mean the creator and producers don’t hold the right to do with the show what they wish.
Take, Bones, for instance. There is multitude of fans who want Booth and Brennan together, but Hart continues to put them with different people and dance around their obvious attraction and chemistry.
My point is majority doesn’t always rule. And that is only assuming the are more BL fans then LP. Every fan isn’t online and there are a number of OTH fans who continue to watch the show for reasons other than romance.
I agree that some BL fans may realize what most LP fans believe and that is that BL is over for good and they may jump ship, but there are still tons of others fans to take up the slack as well as BL fans that seem convinced BL will be back.
I’m curious, what stuff Brooke has been saying that you disagree with.
I can understand BL fans being mad about Lucas calling Peyton pretty girl, although I think for him it’s like calling the girl he’s dating honey or baby.

no, Mark is definitely not disrespecting BL. disrespect would be having them stop talking all together. but instead he’s turned them into good friends… what else is he supposed to do? he doesn’t want them to be a couple, so he’s moved them onto the next best thing, a good friendship. definitely not disrespect! it’s just part of the whole triangle situation… at some point, one of the couples has to fade out of the picture, and Brucas was that couple. but at least he’s still keeping them around as friends. don’t be greedy Brucas fans!

I know that Brucas will most likely never become a couple again..but i’m still keeping hope haha. But for me what really ticks me off is that if they can’t have a romantic relationship, make them good friends i bet many fans would settle for that. But i think where many Brucas fans are pissed at mark is the lack of screen time they get. I think they have had about 2 alone scenes together and all they’ve talked about was leyton. For an example after leyton got back together,lucas never noticed brooke had bruises on her face and there was never a conversation of both of them dicussing that. But during season 3 after brucas got back together lucas went off with peyton to help search for her mom (mark never ignored the leyton fans when brucas were together). I guess where i am getting at is that they both can have scenes together even if it’s not romantic ones and at the same time mark would be pleasing brucas fans with their new relationship as GOOD friends. (hope that makes sense lol)

SIGH, well first of all Hannah I am not blind. You can make your opinion known without saying anything about me, because you do not know me like that. THAT is disrespectful. I don’t make assumptions, because in my experience that just leave me looking like an idiot. Saying there are a lot of BL fans on the net so there are a lot of BL fans not on the net is like saying, there are a lot of black people in inner cities so you can assume most black people are poor, uneducted, and ghetto. That doesn’t make any sense.
You also have to realize there are a lot more characters in these new seasons that Mark is focusing on compared to season 3. Mouth and Millie have scenes, Owen, Julian, Sam, and of course we need to make time for Jamie to dance.
Mark seems to have a difficult time balancing all the characters this season. That’s it. Saying it is disrespectful is a bit overdramatic. This isn’t One Brucas Hill. Naley has barely gotten any good screen time together and they’re married with a fanbase that may even rival brucas. Why do they deserve more screentime than anyone else?
I’m sure you would have liked to see Lucas’s reaction to Brooke’s attack, but it wasn’t shown because he just isn’t that person in her life anymore. We didn’t see every single close friend in her life’s reaction to her attack, but just because we didn’t see it doesn’t mean it didn’t happen you know? The dynamics have changed and you may not like it but that’s just how it is.
Naley and Haley fans aren’t complaining nearly as much.

Brucas totally sucked together. they were all about sex. there was never anything meaningful there and even if there was… it was all lies because Lucas said himself that it was just him being in denial of his love for Peyton. i don’t see how anyone could get into that couple. it’s just gross lol. and whoever said this isn’t “One Brucas Hill”… congrats. you hit the nail on the head. for some reason Brucas fans act like this show should revolve around them, when there couple doesn’t even exist anymore! how that makes sense i’m not really sure. if there’s no Brucas, then how can the show give you a lot of Brucas screentime?? the focus now is on Leyton, and should be because THEY are together now. if there’s a REASON to have a Brooke/Lucas scene, then i’m sure Mark will make that happen. but having Brucas scenes just for the sake of having them doesn’t make any sense, that would be a WASTE of screentime.

if Brooke actually wanted to be honest, and tell people the REAL reason that she had bruises on her face, then i’m sure Lucas would have been there for her. but she didn’t. she decided to lie to everyone, and tell them that she fell down the stairs. there’s only so much help you can give/offer a person if they just “fell down the stairs”. Brooke pushed everyone away and didn’t let anyone in until she had to. and whether her story about falling down the stairs was believable or not, you can’t help someone that doesn’t want to be helped.
and by the time that Brooke WAS honest about the attack, it had been over and done with already… so it wasn’t a big deal anymore for Lucas to be there for her, because it had happened a while ago and she had already moved on from it

gina… it’s like i just said in one of my earlier posts… YOU guys are MAKING me defend Leyton!! and i can’t stand that because i HATE Leyton. but i’m sorry when a lot of the Brucas fans get on here and start making ridiculous assumptions and saying things like “of course Brucas will end up together”, i have to take Leyton’s side. i do defend your right to still have hope, because deep down i secretly have hope for Lindcas. but there’s a difference between hope and denial, and i think a lot of Brucas fans are in DEEP denial about where Brucas is as a couple right now. so yeah, when it starts getting ridiculous and over the top, i’ve gotta take Leyton’s side, as much as i don’t want to.

Okay, anyone with common sense would know that something was going on with brooke. she all of a sudden became distant, bruises ALL over her body. i know some leyton fans hate admitting that leyton are selfish but the truth is they are. if mark wants us to believe that brucas are just friends now, he should of placed lucas in brooke’s problems. now 2 random guys care more about her than her best friends.

okay seriously gina, you’re calling Peyton selfish as far as the whole attack thing goes??? that’s funny, because when I watched the episodes, Peyton was there for Brooke as SOON as she got home from Vegas/LA, and saw the bruises all over her. even when she thought that Brooke just fell down the stairs, she still spent a whole night with Brooke comforting her. AND after Brooke was honest with her about the attack, Peyton comforted her and was there to help her yet AGAIN, by telling her that she wished Brooke would have been honest with her, and that she is ALWAYS going to be there for her. i’m sorry but i don’t quite see how that makes Peyton selfish…

and again… no, Brooke’s story about falling down the stairs wasn’t very believable, and her friends probably should have been able to see past that story. but even if they knew that something else was going on, Brooke CLEARLY didn’t want to be helped because she made up that lame story to hide what was really going on… and you can’t help someone that isn’t willing to be helped… Brooke’s words. it’s no one’s fault but her own that she didn’t want to let anyone in and be honest

I agree that at the very least Peyton-her best friend could have been a bit more insistent, but she did sense something going on with Brooke when she was moving out of their house and moving in with Luke.
But I agree completely with LeytonTLA. Maybe falling down the stairs sounded like a dumb excuse for us because we knew what happened. But I know from experience that you can’t force someone into telling you the truth. How else were they supposed to know she lied about it? They aren’t experts in bruise patterns.
And although it seems like it makes them bad friends, it’s hard not to get caught up and excited when something as huge as your marriage is pending.

Honey, to look at her one cannot not deduce that she was robbed and mugged. And even if they did think something was wrong, which Peyton did realize, then what would you expect them to do? Move into her house? Camp out on the front lawn? Pop up every second of the day, as though they have nothing important going on in their own lives? Come on!
I find this real friends would notice line of thought funny considering LP fans have said the same thing about season 1 Brooke persuing Lucas when it was plain to see she had a thing for Lucas. Yet BL fans defend her. Is she any less “selfish” than you guys think LP are being?

Well, if u got attacked would u want some one to be there for u, at least stay for a while instead of moving in witb lucas. would u seriously want a friend who does not care. i really hate when people use “they have not been together since season 3.” that really does not mean anything. Keith and Karen werent together for 17 years and they got engaged. people can separate and fall back in love with each other, it happens all the time. i know it happened to me.
I love brucas……but it is very unlikely they will be together. but if they do that will be awesome.

Peyton leavng when Brooke insists she is fine doesn’t make her a bad friend. She was worried about leaving Brooke as she and Lucas packed up the last of her stuff. Don’t you remember that?
I doubt OTH will be on long enough for BL to get back together. In real life, if these people were real maybe BL would get back together, hell maybe both Peyton and Brooke would come to their senses and marry Owen and Julian respectively.
In televisionland, the way the show has been set up, it seems unlikely that BL will happen again.

yeah but Honey, when i say they haven’t been together since season 3, there’s a difference between Brucas and Karen/Keith… since then Lucas has picked ONE girl to be with out of Peyton, Brooke, and Lindsey… and he picked Peyton. so yeah it hurts their chances that they haven’t been romantically involved in so long, but him having the chance to pick Brooke, and then picking Peyton instead, just puts the icing on the cake. when Karen and Keith got the chance to be together, they took it. but in the premiere this season, Lucas had his chance to go back to Brooke, and he passed it up. so yeah, i’d say they’re done..

if people actually stopped watching the show JUST because Lucas married the girl that they didn’t want him to marry… then that’s just sad lol. if you’re a true fan of OTH, then i would hope you would decide to keep watching, because there IS more to the show than just the triangle lol. i feel like the show is coming to an end anyway, which is why Mark is finally having Lucas settle down, and having Naley and Brooke’s dreams slowly start to come true too (as far as Nathan playing professional basketball, and Brooke finally being a mother).

Joy, peyton and lucas know brooke, they know that when she pushes people away, there is something deeper. just like naley knew.
And lindcus, keith and karen had plenty chances to get together but they avoided it.but whatever that is a different couple. but u can compare them to either leyton or brucas. And its good to have u back!!!

Then would you agree that Brooke should not have gone after Lucas in season one? BL fans think BL was fair game in season one and that Peyton should have said something and Brooke isn’t a mind reader. Knowing Peyton as a best friend should, it was clear what was bothering Peyton. It’s the same situation.

I undertsand that part of your point, that LP should have noticed, and again I have said this twice before, that Peyton DID notice, but that doesn’t mean she could have helped Brooke when she didn’t want to be helped.

I have been getting my sister caught up on OTH, and she asked me that same question, like yesterday….pretty funny. i honestly did not have an answer for her. brooke kept asking peyton if it was okay, and she said it was fine and to trust her. i think brooke knew deep down that peyton was lying but that brooke was young and selfish. not the brooke we know now. i honestly just think that peyton should of been there for her, like brooke was when derek attacked her. i know she was not there in the first attack, but that was because brooke was heart broken and anger at peyton.

Well, my reply to that is the only reason Brooke was there during the second attack with Derek was because she was attacked herself. They were leaning on eachother in that instance, they were both traumatized, so I don’t think the situations are the same.
I guess what I want to know is what you think Peyton should have done, what constitutes being there for someone who insists they are fine and asks you to move out and even takes the key to the house you shared from you?
I think knowing Brooke as she does, she knew that Brooke would come to her in her own time. The best she could do, any of us can do in a situation like that, is make sure that person knows we are there when they are ready to talk and Peyton did that and was there when Brooke came clean.

I think its kinda obvious every couple on this poll is cheating lol so I really wouldn’t take it that seriously. I mean theres no way that almost a week into this poll that the couples would be going up like 100 every hour. Its crazy and inaccurate. Althought i don’t really think its a big deal i’ve never seen a poll thats 100% accurate on the internet because theres always and i mean ALWAYS a way people can hack into it or vote mutiple times.
Polls are supposed to be fun but for this fanbase it seems its all about who has the biggest fanbase. Its kinda funny that BLs are the only ones who actually take any stalk into the polls because i’ve never seen a NHer or LPer say because of a poll they are the biggest fanbase. I’ve seen several polls over the internet were both NH and LP beat BL by a long shot yet nobodys going around saying “look at this poll because were obviously the biggest fanbase!”
