The One Tree Hill Podcast No. 34
Exclusive commentary from Michael Leone, director of the 13th episode of season six, highlights the 34th edition of the One Tree Hill Podcast. The podcast also includes an “Artist Alley” segment with Rosi Golan whose song “Been a Long Day” was the coda song for the episode as well as a review of the episode.
NEXT WEEK: And exclusive interview with Joe Manganiello on what’s up with Owen and his future projects as well as an “Artist Alley” segment with William Fitzsimmons.
ETA: Some fans have asked if the kiss Lucas placed on Peyton’s tummy at the end of the episode was unscripted. I asked Michael Leone this and this is what he replied:
The “tummy kiss” as you refer to it was also unscripted. As a father of 4 and drawing from personal experience, I suggested the idea to Chad as a way to make such a wonderful and special moment more personal for him.
Chad and Hilarie embraced the idea, and after take 1 we realized that the kiss added the perfect intimate gesture to an already very touching and romantic moment. I’m ecstatic that the fans agree.

Exceptional Podcast Denise!
Michael Leone seems like such a genuine, thoughtful and insightful man who obviously has a lot of experience.
I enjoyed listening to him, he is a great story teller not only on the show, but talking about his experiences.
Listening to him, really puts things in perspective and you also realize what a challenge he had and how he made it seem effortless.
I so enjoyed the entire Podcast and as always, can’t wait for the next.
Thank you again.

I love what he had to say about the final scene, I thought he did a wonderful job directing Chad and Hilarie.
