‘One Tree Hill’ gets 2 more episodes than ‘Creek’

WILMINGTON, N.C. — “One Tree Hill” won’t just have the same number of seasons as the other teen-angst drama filmed in Wilmington. It also will film two more episodes than “Dawson’s Creek.”
“One Tree Hill” creator Mark Schwahn said in an e-mail that the drama will have completed 130 episodes at the end of its sixth season, two more than “Dawson’s Creek.”
If a seventh season materialized on the CW network, then “One Tree Hill” would total 152 episodes.
And what’s the status of that seventh season? Schwahn was evasive, saying only that he has a contract to run “One Tree Hill” for a seventh season and he would love to be able to do that.

ah this is great. i kinda expected it with the storylines evolving from mondays ep but its great to get little comments like this. plus this jst made my day, i’m sittin here tryin to write a 2,000 word irish essay and this jst gave me an extra boost

I must be the ONLY fan who doesnt want a S7….!
I love the show, but 6×01-11 werent up to the awesome standard of the last 2 episodes. Makes me wonder if Mark can sustain it…
I would rather the show end now, and on a successful high, then be dragged out to a S7 and not be as great, with possibly not all the characters in the show, and some SL’s getting more outlandish and crazy and annoying. Jamie and all his screentime, and Nanny Carrie for example! And the lack of a Haley SL despite being 13 episodes in!

i want a season 7 too..i think mark and all the cast members can pull it off…we just need faith…this is the best season yet..at least for me anyway…yayyy OTH….

This is random, but i was looking at neilsen ratings. And OTH is 8th for Product Placement used on a TV program
I want season 7 soooo bad! I’m not ready for OTH to be over! But at the same time, I only want another season if it’s going to continue to be good. I don’t want it to fall into a slump and get bad and boring. But I have faith in Mark and the writers that that won’t happen.
