Episode 15 We Change, We Wait Reaction

OK. Let me be honest. Not my favorite episode ever. But there are some blogworthy comments.
- Lucas taking Peyton to the lake was just awesome. But her getting Keith’s ring was awesome-er.
- I love, love, love, Brooke and Julian. That is all.
- Brooke and Peyton were so great together. I love that Peyton had to back up and go tell Brooke she was wrong about Julian. I just love the fact that she WAS wrong about Julian.
- Lucas and Julian are actually so cute together.
- Dixon needs to GO AWAY. It’s almost hard to watch scenes that he is in.
- Good to see Nathan do well. And I have to be honest. I STILL feel bad for Dan. I’ve said it for a long time. It’s time for Nathan to let go and let him in.

Amy I completely agree with everything you wrote.
One moment worth noting, was when Lucas propose to Haley and told her one of the directors wanted that to happen, lol!
BTW, I feel sorry for Dan too. You can’t help but like him or sympathize with him at times. When he is good, he is good, but when he is bad…

I actually like this episode. Dixon cracks me up when I see him…He’s hilarious! The NALEY scenes were good. Good to see them as a family and not Jamie with just one or the other. Lucas and Peyton at the lake was so sweet. Julian is growing on me with Brooke. I didn’t want them together at first but they’re growing on me. I feel bad for Dan too, and I think eventually in the end both Lucas and Nathan will let him in.

christy, I don’t mind Dixon either and I would not be surprised if he turns out to be the right Director.
I laughed so loud when Lucas and Julian were with the English director at the junk yard. It was hilarious whe he tells them he sees “Lucas’ rival gang shoot Keith in a drive by shooting”, and Lucas says Ok, I’m done here!

It was a good episode. One of the better ones this season, especially the first half of it without Dixon. He really needs to just… leave. Now.
Thank god that wasn’t true. Brulian is my new favorite couple since the other two are just… Old, married couples. God.
Glad to see no Millie or Mouth. That would have ruined the episode, really. Maybe they can just forget about those two.. please? No? Oh well, I tried.
I can’t believe how much Nathan has changed. Really. I was just thinking back to how he was in Season 1, just like #23 (sorry, I forget his name, if they mentioned it) and now he’s grown up and realizes what basketball really is: a team sport.
And Jamie!! ahh! Adorable when he phoned. I thought that was so sweet!
Haha, Lucas proposing to Haley. Now that was funny.
Julian and Brooke. Brulian. All I can say is.. Hot hot hot hot. Please keep Julian on longer! Please?! I just can’t stop drooling when he’s on screen. My heart almost, for a split second stopped when Peyton told Brooke about him sleeping with another girl after they had broken up. I was like Nooo then he’s going to leave!!
So happy to see Dan. I’m glad he’s trying with Nathan even if Nathan is shutting him out. I really love Dan this season, especially with Jamie. Cute!
Now, next weeks episode. In which I really mean two weeks (Yeah, when I have no school next week, and nothing to do at all they decide oh lets not have a new episode. Hmph) I’m so freakin’ excited for that! The episode better not let me down because it is the episode I have been waiting for, for… well since I found out what was going to happen!!! EEEEKKK!!

i keep replaying the lake scene, i can’t wait for it to be on youtube.
over all a good episode, not one of my favorites, but still a good episode. i’m still ticked that they are having a week break, wth is up with all these breaks? grrr.. but i am ready for peyton to be showing lol..

I love how peyton had brook’s back, and after she found out the truth she went back and told brooke, that was really great because brooke really seem to like Julian

Yes mia did really good, but her and chase together just seem so unecessary they are cute together but I still don’t see the point of the two of them, they were just thrown into the show as if they were on it all season long, give me more haley, what happened to millie and mouth this episode

Ok so Im reading a bulletin on myspace from Stephen Colletti about reality shows and here is what he has to say about OTH:
One Tree Hill – That Chase guy is dreamy!! They should sign him onto a full time role next season, replacing Lucas.
(ok…I cheated..OTH isnt a reality show, but any chance i can make a shameful plug, i’m gonna)
I wonder if he knows something we dont know and that the fact is that there will be another season but without Chad? Anyone have any thoughts on this?
I could be reading into this the wrong way, but it makes me think?!?!?!?!?

Every episode I have watched this season since the episode where Brooke told Peyton about the attack and Peyton said I will always be there for you, made me feel like something bad was going to happen to Peyton. Now I am starting to think maybe something bad will happen to Lucas. Either way This whole season they have been so happy. Nothing bad has happened to them. Mark has given them so many good moments together. I just wonder what or when something bad is going to happen to one of them if not both. I love this show so much and I love Leyton as a couple so much. I just feel like if one does not sign on the show should end so that I don’t have to watch a season minus Leyton together. I don’t know. I have watched so many teen dramas in my life and I know when they are building something up for a major drama or death to happen and I get that feeling every time I watch. Anyone else get that feeling or am I just over thinking?

OK, I liked the episode mostly because of the core interaction plus Julian. We had Lucas/Haley scene, Lucas/Brooke scene, Brooke/Peyton scene and even Haley/Peyton all in one episode. I see no point whatsoever in Mia and Chase. Nathan’s basketball storyline is boring to me but I did like the scene with him and Dan–just knowing their history and all. I thought Dixon was starting to be sincere to Julian’s dad at the end and when he gave the line to him that Luke said it left a bad taste in my mouth. Lucas’ face looked concerned at the end. Don’t know where they are going with this…
NatBrat–I do have uneasy feelings about Leyton and where this season is going. I have been reading around on the possiblities and for me, I don’t want to see a season 7 with no Lucas (especially if something bad happens to him). I can take it if he wasn’t on a lot in season 7 (say out in LA with the movie..) but to have something bad like death happen to either would crush me…I also don’t know how Peyton would recover and I don’t want to see a sad Peyton all season. I feel like the show is starting to come full circle and honestly would be happy if the show ended with the core 5 happy after this season. It is getting to the point where I am afraid to read spoilers to see the other foot drop…

i love love love brooke and julian- owen was a jerk so its nice to see brooke happy
sam is definately growing on me. the one moment of her tonight was funny.
i really do miss those hot naley scenes from the earlier seasons. glad mouth and millier were not in tonight’s episode.

I can’t believe I forgot to mention the proposal!! I absolutely loved that she wanted to wear Keith’s ring and he really deep down wanted her to have it..it is right where it belongs…Also LOVED that she was reading a baby book….now hopefully she will start to show. I want some time jumps…wedding and baby this season!!

I NEED MORE NALEY LOVE SCENES!!! How wil I have to say it, to finally get it? Why not a pregnant Haley…. I WANT a second Naley Baby, please… it could be an amazing storyline… Nathan and Haley sould definitely talk about having another child. Il could be nice that they plan a prenancy for once in One Tree Hill.

I really hope they dont kill of lucas… Peyton has been depressed for 5 seasons… she can’t get just one season of happiness, I dont think Mark would do that to Peyton. Well I hope not anyways.

James Van Der Beek is a great actor and I hope he stays on the show as Dixon even longer!!!!!!!
I hope he causes the wedding plans and other plans to be postponed even longer!!!!! That’s good drama and great acting right there.

These girls only care about everything being happily ever after. It’s a TV series. Everything has to go wrong before anything goes right. Keep Dixon, Mark! He’s a great actor! Makes us feel like we’re watching an episode of Entourage. He’s that good!
I hope he stirs up more trouble than Chris Keller and Felix combined!

The only thing i really enjoyed in this episode was the LP scenes. I think this episode convinced me more than ever that i hope this season is the last. I’m just not feeling the show anymore. I also hate how they kinda left the PBJ thing open because more than likely when Lucas dies next season Peyton will magically regain all feelings for Julian again even after everything that happened this season.She’ll say ohh i never got over you and just settled for lucas or whatever. Then we’ll have to suffer through stupid love triangle number 50 billion. I’m starting to regret this show ever went on after season 4. Its that bad now.

Okay I have to make a comment about something I found extremely hilarious ( I actually think I laughed hardest at this moment). Let me start by saying I TOTALLY am on Team Leyton. However, did anyone find it ironic that when Peyton was first talking to Brooke about Julian she talked about how he hooked up with someone that weekend after they broke up (which we found out later didn’t happen) and how she thought how much of a bad guy he was. However, I thought isn’t ironic that after Peyton said someday to Lucas he was off in NY drunk but trying to seduce Brooke. Granted I never want Peyton to find out about that I just thought How Ironic.

And as for a season 7 minus lucas scott it wont happen the show isnt about peyton and lucas its about Lucas and is relationship with Dan/Nathan/Haley/Brooke and even peyton… i can almost guarentee no chad.. no lucas… no season 7

I totally agree with ‘Emma’ and ‘Hilarie Burton fan.’ Nathan and Haley are in desperate need of making sweet, passionate love! I want them to have a second child with every fiber of my being! I, too, am going insane with anticipation of a Naley sex scene!!! Just make it happen already for God’s sake!!! But I am completely on the same page with Emma: If Nathan and Haley DO get pregnant, it will be a planned pregnancy(unlike some other un-wedlock couple we know of). Hey, I’m just kidding- retract the claws! But, yes, overall a magnifico eppy!!!

I actually enjoyed this episode… I don’t mind Dixon, but that doesn’t mean that I like him… And granted, the Mia/Chase thing seems a tad out of place, but it seems like it sets up Mia for something bigger in the future… It gives Mia a reson to write a new single, and the new single gives Mia a reason to go back on tour again, so that she just isnt bumming around Tree Hill (While I like her on the show, there is only so much that can be written about her charcter without making her the mian focal point). While we’re on the topic of music, I really dug the music on this Ep… I usually like all the music they choose, so much so it has me sitting by the TV with a pen and paper during the show, scribbling down a bunch of lyrics, just so I can google them later, in case it isnt one of the songs they feature at the end of the show. Kudo to that department. Also, I DO think theyre going to have another love triangle, though I don’t think it’s going to involve Lucas (I think even THEY at the show think that that’s a plot that is recycled too many times). I feel that they might make an Owen/Brooke/Julian B-plot… Who knows… all in all, I liked the episode a bunch.

Danielle- I doubt Stephen Colletti knows anything about season 7 or Chad possibility leaving. He probably said that just to be funny. He is not important to the show so i don’t know why he would know anything about the the main casts contracts and stuff like that.

I love tonight’s episode. It was really good, didn’t have alot of new characters, focused on the core five. BRULIAN BABY. They are hot, Brooke and Julian.
Only thing, i did not like was lack of Sam
. I really like her but it made up for it, the beginning was hilarious with brooke and julian.

tonight’s episode was good in my opinion, but not great. Leyton was great as always, Brulian was kind of cute, but i honestly think it was all of the basketball that killed the episode for me. i am just SO sick of Nathan’s basketball storyline, i mean we’ve been seeing it since what… season ONE??? i literally had to skip through half of his scenes, i just can’t take it anymore, it has been SO overdone.
and honestly, as much as i like the idea of Brulian, they bug me a little too. i hate the constant reference to sex (”without our clothes”). i mean they’ll have a cute scene, and i’ll start to like them, because they’ll actually talk about their feelings… then all of a sudden a sex comment will be thrown into the conversation, and that ruins it for me lol.
i just wish for once that we would get to see Brooke with a guy that was MAINLY based on their emotional connection, instead of talking about sex so much… which is how it usually works with Brooke (first with Lucas during the whole like first half of their relationship, then Owen, and now Julian). not trying to insult Brooke by any means, or start a fight, just giving my honest opinion.. and i cant help but notice the constant reference to sex when it comes to her and dating any guy

ok ok i loved the episode it was great minus leyton lol…no im not going to lie they had prettty cute scenes, but so i was just about to get aboard the brulian train and then BAM there is a brucas scene in what seemed to be a brucas drought, and it wasnt just any scene it was the cutesssssst scene ugh why does mark do this i was liking brulian sooooo much lol i still do but now im thinking of going back on brucas..i know i know they reality of brucas but i feel hope with them. idk i guess only time will tell and i hope there is a season 7 PLEASE DEAR GOD! lol

Brulian is the cutest thing ever! Austin Nichols ROCKS! I re-watched the episode TWICE, fastfowarding through everything EXCEPT the Brulian scenes. It’s so great to finally see something besides old married couples. Don’t get me wrong, Naley are great, but they need to add some drama to the whole Leyton thing.
And I agree with Salma and Brucasfan, it was nice to see the Brucas interaction, but I’m all about Brulian now!!!

about the stephen myspace bulletin…don’t think too much into it because its not him! its some crazy psycho pretending to be him. at the charity game last year, i told stephen that i loved the fact he had an “offical myspace” to post bulletins and pictures to update to his fans and he told me to not believe it because its not him. he said he has been trying to get the myspace shut down multiple times, but the person keeps coming back. so don’t think too much into chase becoming the new lucas. heck, that would NEVER happen. haha
on another note, i loooooooved brulian tonight. sooo adorable.

I also feel bad for dan is that weird oh well…I do not like dixon at all hes going to ruin Lucas’s movie I just know it…so happy for Nathan getting to play…and I saved the best for last I LOVED BRULIAN omg I’m more in love with Julian now…and when he gave Brooke the jacket and said I guess this means were going steady my heart melted

I must say last night’s esp was great! I loved the Lucas/Julian scenes they are too funny together… of course I loved my Leyton moments… I do agree with some of you it also makes me a bit worried that they’ve been so happy ugh… I am glad Lucas gave Peyton Keith’s ring.. it was the right thing to do… the other one was ugly lol… Brulian is awesome and I do love the fact that Peyton went back to Brooke and told her she was wrong about him… the lake scene was the best, aww love them lol… Naley was soo cute and omg little Jamie calling Nathan’s coach haha hilarious! I love James Van Der Beek and all but I don’t think this storyline yucky lol… I will not speculate on a season 7 until I hear from a credible source so I will not talk about it… I will say this though… it makes me sad to even think Chad won’t be there, he is my fav character

Actually, I need to laugh everytime I see Dixon, he’s hilarious! And now he’s the director, omg that means trouble!
And I also like Julian&Lucas together haha how funny were they this episode. The had scene with Julian was hilarious and also the scene on the yunk jard with Lucas and his ‘ok, i’m done here’ xD
The LP scenes were adorable! I’m glad Peyton got Keiths wedding ring and both scenes were amazing
The scene where Lucas ‘proposed’ to Haley was funny too

okay now dont get me wrong, i am happy for brucas fans that brucas finally got SOME interraction but… am i the only one that doesn’t see how that brucas scene was “THAT” special, or would give any indication of there being hope for brucas? again, im not trying to bash their scene at all, i just dont really see what the big deal was or how that could possibly be considered as hope again for brucas. it wasnt anything more than the typical FRIENDLY scenes that we usually get from brucas. i just think when you balance out the brucas scene with the leyton scenes that we have been getting EVERY episode (including the ones last night), i still think its pretty evident that Peyton is the one that Lucas wants to be with, and that brucas are still just friends. there was still nothing romantic about brucas’ conversation last night, just like always. and im not saying this to be mean, im just wondering what all the fuss is about lol

I disagree with you about Dan and Nathan. I do think that before Dan dies, Nathan needs to let go/let him in, however, I think Dan needs to be proud of Lucas, too, for his novels and for having one made into a movie. He’s his son as well, after all.

steph i was actually wondering the same thing, but i was afraid to bring it up because i didn’t want people to think i was starting a fight lol. i mean i just don’t see how that ONE strictly friendly scene last night between Brucas takes anything away from how solid Leyton is right now. yes it’s awesome that Brucas fans finally got a scene, but i really didn’t see it as enough to be considered as Brucas hope again. i mean if you just want to call interaction hope that’s up to you i guess… because that’s basically all that i saw last night as usual… just friendly interaction (plus you also have to consider that this friendly Brucas scene was also in the same episode that Lucas was giving Peyton Keith’s wedding ring, and telling her that the ring “is right where it belongs”. i don’t know if you ask me, it’s still no contest)

yeeeeeeahhh… i also couldn’t help but get turned off from Brulian because of all the sex comments. like seriously why can’t Brooke EVER just be sweet with a guy?? why does sex ALWAYS have to be 90% of her relationship with anyone. okay… maybe not Chase. i think they were more emotional than physical. but with every other guy i think it’s pretty safe to say that she’s more about sex than anything. and that’s really annoying.
the ending scene with Brulian last night could have been REALLY cute if it wasn’t for the “without our clothes on” comment. that just blew it. i mean i would expect that from the old high school Brooke, but i thought she had matured since then?? i know she says she doesn’t want just “fun” anymore, but when all she STILL talks about is sex, she could have fooled me.
sorry for the rant… lol it’s just frustrating because i want to be a Brulian fan, but she keeps blowing it with all the sex talk. i’m ready for her to grow up and move on from that side of her. there’s more to a great relationship than just sex, and i’m STILL waiting for her character to understand that concept… clearly hasn’t happened yet.

Well to those people that were saying Brucas scene wasnt romantic at all. Go back to right after they interected…when Lucas, julian and Dixon were meeting and luke was talking about how he wants the director to relate to the characters. he wanted people to see how one song can change peyton mood, and how brooke has 2 compleatly different sides, both of which are amazing….I mean come on the only thing he could say about peyton is that music can change her mood. Brooke got that she was AMAZING!How can you have forgotten about that part…
And also, how about the fact that Lucas came to brooke for advice on the movie. When peyton tryed 2 talk to him about it he really didnt want to/ have much to say. And when dixon said somthing about hooking up on the plane Julian said ” how did she look” the look on Lukes face was priceless. So yeah I deff thought the brucas scenes were perfect :]

Chels, I agree with you. I feel like they are leaving the Julian thing open so if and when they kill off Lucas, they can open up the Peyton/Julian/Brooke love triangle of hell. I hope I’m wrong but I getting bad vibes. Gah.

Ok, this episode was pretty good. My fave parts:
~So, I was a Brucas fan, but now I am totally about Brulian! Peyton can have Lucas as long as Brooke gets to keep Julian! The scene with them at the end was my fave of the night!
~I liked that Nathan finally got to play in the end and that even though he wasn’t the “star” he played with his team and they won. And Jamie calling the coach was just too cute. And I, too, feel slightly bad for Dan.
~I do have one little tiff, though. I wish Haley had more storyline. Lately she’s been seen dealing with other people’s dramas or whatever, but she hasn’t really had anything that’s hers.
~And, ok, one more thing: Maybe it was just me and I just wasn’t listening, but did Dixon’s name get changed? I could have sworn that at two points in the episode last night they called him something other than Dixon. Maybe I’m just imagining things. But whatever his name is, he better not mess up the movie!

Brucasforever!, no one “forgot” about the part where Lucas said both sides of Brooke are amazing. ofcourse he’s going to say that about Brooke, look at everything they’ve been through and how close they are. what do you expect him to say? “there are two completely different sides to Brooke, and both sides suck”… lol ofcourse he’s going to talk nice about her. and so what if he only talked about music when referring to Peyton, that shows that he knows every little thing about her, even something as small as one song being able to change her mood… i thought it was cute. we’ve already had a whole season so far of hearing Lucas talk sweet about Peyton (as opposed to Brucas fans). so i thought that music comment was perfect
i just dont see what the big deal is, yes Lucas said both sides of Brooke are amazing, but that still doesn’t make them romantically involved by any means, or show that they still have feelings for eachother, or take anything away from Leyton. i mean just look at the Leyton scenes we’ve been getting compared to the what… like 2 or 3 Brucas scenes (all of which have been FRIENDLY)

Holy cow!!! I have mixed feelings about this episode. I actually really didn’t like it until the Lake scene, I know I am Leyton biased but I felt that it was kind of boring. Brulian is cute but I want Chase with Brooke, I don’t trust Julian!!!! And Mia and Chase are sooooo unbelievably boring and PRUDE!!!! It is like watching to 7th graders make out!
I am still very worried about next season! It seems that they should know something about it by now. I mean Mark needs to write a correct ending…I can’t help but think that CMM will not be coming back and they will kill him off. They are building up for something horrible to happen. Leyton is so sweet right now…and I love Dixon…are you kidding me??? I think he is awesome…he is so funny! But no one else commented on his last line…where he said he didn’t like the last scene and they would talk about it…what did that mean?? I wonder if he wants to end the movie a horrible dramatic way, a death, and then that is what actually ends up happening???
Anyone else think so?

exactly LeytonTLA, i think brucas fans are getting their hopes up a little too high over nothing. but i guess thats their decision. we’re the ones that have multiple sweet scenes in every episode, the engagement, the pregnancy, and now keiths ring, so if brucas fans want to get excited about their single scene that they get… then more power to them i guess

Oddly, I feel bad for Dan too! It sucks, because we know how horrible he made Lucas’s life, and how horrible he made Karen’s life….but you can tell he really feels bad about it now. I wish there was a way for him to truly redeem himself….but there isnt.
Also, if there is a 7th season, I kind of hope they fast forward again, so these kids lives are a little more believable. They are supposed to be a year and a half out of college, so 22-23, and they are all either married, with kids…..or on their way to being married with kids. I dont know about you guys, but speaking as a 22-year-old…marriage & kids is a VEEERY distant thought in my mind. Not that I’d want storylines to change, I like the way things are going….I just wish they were older. Haha, not a big deal at all….just kinda weird when I think they’re supposed to be my age. lol

I think its crazy for Leyton fans to get defensive when a Brucas fan posts a comment of hope. Speaking as a Brucas fan, if this were flipped….and it were Brooke & Lucas getting engaged & having a baby….I would almost feel bad for Leyton fans, and I definitely would not try to take away any tiny bit of hope they were clinging to.
Honestly, I think we all know there is no hope – but its almost impossible to completely jump ship…ya know? We’ve been on board 6 years, thats hard to just accept. And we’re getting blow, after blow each episode – engagement, pregnancy, rig. So if a Brucas fan makes a comment….why not just roll your eyes & laugh to yourself…..but let them hang on to their last bit of hope – delusional as it may be.

i also thought the same thing about Haley and her lack of storylines lately. i mean sure there have been no SIGNS of them killing her off, but maybe that’s because they want to catch us off guard. i think it’s possible that she’s having no storylines because they might be trying to “fade” her out of the picture a little bit. hmmm… we’ll see. there has been NO proof yet that they’re killing anyone off at all. but i do have a strong feeling that one of the core 5 is gonna go…

Jackson you are right… brucas fans are just doing what leyton fans would be doing if the rolls were reversed.. and I dont honestly think after 6 season the end has come for my beloved brucas I think that in 6 season Tree Hill has never been this calm and couples have never been this happy…. there is definately a relationship storm on its way to tree hill and its going to rock lucas life…..and I for one and not a brulian fan… they are better then Browen or Brase but I love Pulian and I think the history visits means ITS NOT OVER….and there is definately more to it then meets the eye….

Jackson you’re probably right, i think we all do know that there is most likely no hope for Brucas left (whether some of us want to admit it or not)… so i guess there’s no point in arguing about it anymore. its just hard to ignore Brucas fans’ comments when they start saying stuff that makes it sound like Leyton won’t last. being happy that Brucas had a scene is one thing, but making it sound like Leyton won’t last (even though everything from the show is supporting them at this point), just because Brucas had a conversation is when it starts getting annoying lol

I’m just so happy about an eventual BL scene, I was all for Brulian, but seeing BL together reminded me of how cute they are. I can accept it will probably be Leyton together now, but BL are just too amazing for words. The line about two sides was perfect, I’m going to be replaying that scene again, and again…
Even if BL aren’t together, I would still like them to have friendly scenes now and again, similar to those towards the end of s5. They were great.

Ok so there gonna kill dan off poor guy..thought he would out live them all lol…I’ll miss him…if this is the last season which I hope not..I would like for it to end on a happy note everyone happy…as much as I would love to see brucas endgame I would’nt want him to leave peyton now shes pregnant and they are engaged and Lucas has’nt been there for brooke once.. poor girl was attacked twice and no lucas…I wanted Lucas to rescue her but he did’nt…I will always love brucas because seriously my heart melts everytime they have a scene together…but Brooke deserves to be happy and Julian I think will make her happy!!! anyways just my thoughts

i thought it was a good episode but there has been better this season! SERIOUSLY WE NEED MORE HALEY!!! its really starting to annoy me! she is my favourite actress and character and i really feel that she is being totally left out!!! she needs a storyline!!!! I can’t wait to see Joy direct the next episode!

I could live with Leyton being a couple – as long as we get more Brucas scenes. If they cant be a couple – can’t they be BFF? They were last season – they both were each others support systems. I want an episode where Lucas actually talks to her about her life; about being attacked – TWICE, about Sam, about Julian. We deserve at least that. haha

okay i’m sorry but what is the deal with Naley… or i guess i should say the lack there of. i mean i am in no way a Naley/Haley fan, but good lord if i was a Naley fan i would be absolutely pissed lol. i mean Chase and Mia, and Mouth and Millie can have all the screen time/storylines that they want, but we don’t see hardly any Naley or Haley at all… it’s just getting ridiculous.
i just feel really bad for Naley fans because i feel like they are getting totally screwed. Naley has a HUGE fanbase, and Mark is just totally ignoring them for some reason. secondary characters are seriously starting to take over the show, and that’s exactly why i don’t want a season 7

Here is my take on each character.
Brooke: I don’t like her with Julian. I do want her to have a guy but I want her to be in a “real” relationship. Julian lives in LA at some point he IS GOING BACK! Brooke will either leave to be with him or she will be left heartbroken. I don’t want to see this. I want Brooke to have a guy that has no ties to Peyton, one who she can be herself around, and one who isn’t all about SEX. Gosh I thought Brooke had grown out of that? That is what we saw with Owen, and I liked it. I thought Owen was good for her and she good for Owen. (I don’t think that now) I honestly think that Chase was brought back to “pick up the pieces” once Julian leaves. I’m okay with that. I like Chase, and I think he could be great for Brooke.
Julian: Still think he’s shady. Not 100% sold on him, but I really, really want to like him. I’m just afraid he still has lingering feelings for Peyton (I don’t think he’ll ever act on them)but I do think he has real feelings for Brooke too. They just don’t work as a couple seeing as they live on different coasts and Juilan is not going to leave all that behind to move to Tree Hill. Plus Austin is just a guest star…they all leave eventually.
Leyton: I love, love, love Leyton. I’m so happy they have good scenes together. I really hope nothing bad happens, but this is a drama and I’m sure something happens (something needs to happen…this is a drama) but I hope it’s something that shows how they handle it TOGETHER as a couple and also if they are handling it together that means they are both alive! LOL! I am a Leyton fan and have been since day one. I want to see them make it!
Chase/Mia: I think they are cute but we all know it’s not going anywhere and I don’t mind their screen time.
Season 7: If there is no Lucas, there needs to be no season 7. Period. Lucas is the “star” of the show, it began with him and it should end with him. I WANT a season 7, but only iwth all CORE %, and I want all core 5 to have a story to tell.
Naley: I almost forgot about Naley. Do they even exist?? I am a Leyton fan, but I do miss Naley, they had some cute scenes but I think they need more. Haley need to have a bigger role than just being there for everyone. She needs her own storyline…this music thing isn’t enough. I do like Nathan’s basketball storyline, I like seeing him have to really work for something, and basketball in general is a huge part of OTH and I’m glad they haven’t strayed from that.
Brucas fans: I love you all!! I think it’s great that you are so passionate about your ship. Sometimes I may think it’s a little crazy but that doesn’t mean you can’t feel that way. I know I’ve been there before!! I just don’t want to see you guys hurt either. I also wanted to add that you guys should be so happy, Lucas and Brooke’s relationship is beautiful! It doesn’t have to be romantic to be special to both of them. They love each other…they aren’t in love but they would do ANYTHING for one another. I truly believe that. Remember when Lucas said “I’m the guy for you Brooke Davis”? Don’t you see…he WAS that guy, he IS that guy, he completely changed her for the better…and now they have a terrific relationship. Most friendship mean so much more to a person’s emotional well being than the romantic relationships. (It doesn’t mean one is better than the other, they are both important) They don’t have to be romantically involved for them to be “great” together.

kate… calling us “prudes” just because we’re sick of hearing Brooke talk about sex is a little uncalled for. just like you happen to not mind it, we have every right and reason to be annoyed by it. and it isn’t the fact that she’s talking about sex just with Julian… it’s the fact that it’s with EVERY relationship she’s in. it just gets old, and it’s hard to get into her relationships when they revolve so much around sex.
it would just be nice to see more of her DEEP EMOTIONAL connection to the guys that she dates, that’s all we’re saying. and we have every right to say it, without being called prudes. i understand that they are only 22 and most 22 year olds are about sex. but there also needs to be something deeper than that added to the relationship, that outweighs the sex part… and with Brooke, i’m afraid that’s not the case. and it sucks because i feel like her and Julian COULD have something really great and deep, but then they throw in the sex comments at the last minute… which just makes their relationship look shallow

kate… LeytonTLA hit the nail right on the head. when i posted that comment about her sex comments… the point i was trying to make is that it’s with EVERY guy she’s with. if it was an every now and then thing, then i wouldn’t mind it. but when it’s a HUGE part of EVERY relationship she has… then yeah i think that’s a little annoying and a little trashy?? or slutty?? i don’t know what the right word is for it, but i just don’t like it.
i said this earlier in my post, and Carol just said it in hers. it bothers us because that’s what the high school Brooke was like. all she cared about was hooking up with guys, and isn’t she supposed to be more grown up now?? i mean everyone talks about how her character has matured and changed so much. but has she really?? every relationship she gets into STILL seems to revolve around sex. every single time. so yeah, that gets old.
and i am by no means a prude. i’m 21 and know that most people my age are about sex… but they also see more than that in the person that they’re dating. i’m just ready to see the non-slutty side of Brooke when it comes to relationships. and have been ready for that for a long time now.
Lucas said in last night’s episode that there are two sides to her… and i feel like the majority of the time we ONLY see the sex side, and nothing deeper than that. how can we take any of her relationships seriously when all she ever wants to do is sleep around? at some point you have to just grow out of that and show people that there’s more to you. so when is this going to happen?? hopefully soon because i’m getting sick of her being so one-dimensional. give us something deeper for ONCE. please!

Ok people, you hafta remember the begining of last nights episode. Julian was trying to sleep with her and she turned him down. I dont know how people are saying all of her relationships are based on sex. She started dating lucas the second time for love, and her exact words to mouth i believe were ” felix was just a sexual thing, i go for the romance with Lucas” and then after him she slept w. the teacher to help her get over Lucas. But then she again went for romance with Chase, who granted she only went after to sleep with in the begining. but after she confessed that they both waited. And Owen she never even kissed, so i think people are being alittle bit judgemental.
Also that has happened with every character except Haley. Peyton tryed to just have sex w. Lucas, Luke just had sex w. Nikki and Nathan slept w. everyone in the begining b4 haley.

no, there’s no comparisson between Brooke’s physical activity and every other characters. and even though she never kissed Owen, she made TONS of sexual comments to or about him (such as “i bet we’d have sex right on this bar”, and “nobody turns down a naked me”). yes she has had romantic PARTS in her relationships, but our point is that the sex part is ALWAYS there, and it’s pretty overwhelming.
her relationships always happen to develope later on, AFTER she first intends on just sleeping with the guy… which kind of kills the story between her and whoever she is dating, and makes it hard to be all “oh her and this guy are so meant to be”, because it always starts out just being physical and shallow.
and Lucas and Peyton were never just about sex. yeah their first physical scene in Nathans house it LOOKED like that sex was all that Peyton wanted, but then she went to Lucas’ house and said “the TRUTH is i want all the same things that you want i do, and i want them with you” (right as Brooke walks in and says “ready to score?” …gross). it was always deeper than just sex for Leyton, even in the beginning

WOW….shes a character and to be honest in most peoples [ Normal ] relationships they do have other intentions, some poeple just dont talk about it. Just because some of you might think theres somthing wrong with the way she is doesnt mean your right.
And the whole owen thing she did say that and then he said “your right lets go back to your place” and she turned him down. And if peyton didnt “mean” just sex it doesnt matter bc she would have had sex w. him if he didnt say i want it all. So therefore it wouldnt be different, bc luke and brooke said the same thing b4 they started dating the second time but everyone knew they loved eachother. And peytons whole relationship w. nathan was just sex so again hows that better then what brooke [has done] in the past?!?
ANd while it may have looked to you like the only reason why brooke didnt sleep w. julian is bc sam walked in your wrong. Bc he asked her to go into her room b4 Sam even came in and she turned him down. It called growing up and setting an example, and not to mention brooke said herself she was making him wait bc she was afraid of getting hurt. Brooke is an amazing person like luke said….both sides.

first of all, no it isn’t confirmed that chad isnt returning. just because its all over the internet doesnt make it true. until we hear it from mark or chad himself i dont think anyone can say that its been confirmed. and second of all, who’s to say that we will even have a season 7? that hasnt been confirmed yet either, mark could still decide to make this season the last one

lol brucasforever… that last statement you made was really funny. i think you were trying to prove a point in Brucas’ favor, but all you did was prove Leyton fans’ point instead. yeah Lucas dying wouldn’t mean anything to you because Brucas doesn’t exist now, but at least Leyton fans know that he died loving PEYTON, not Brooke. so call me crazy but i’d say even if they do kill Lucas off, Leyton fans still get the better end of the deal than Brucas fans do, hands down. sure Leyton MIGHT not end up together if he dies, but he would still die after having chose PEYTON over Brooke. so why would Leyton fans be upset about that? just because he dies doesn’t mean he doesn’t love her all of a sudden lol.

it doesn’t matter what Lucas had in the PAST with other girls, what matters is who he has those things with now, and who he has those things with in the end. everybody has similar situations in different relationships, but what matters is the relationship that you end with. and its funny that you bring up the pregnancy scare with Brooke, given the two TOTALLY different reactions from Lucas between the scare with Brooke and the news with Peyton… i think those reactions speak for themselves

Lucas did all of these things with Peyton AFTER the ‘pick one’ episode!!!!!!! THAT’S what makes this special. this is what’s happening NOW, not back in high school. he had his chance to pick Brooke over Peyton, and he didn’t. he said i ALWAYS knew who the queen of hearts was. he has NEVER said anything like that about Brooke, and the sweet things that he did say to her, he always ended up taking back at some point. he has never regretted any of the sweet stuff he’s said to or about Peyton.
and thinking that they’ll lose the baby and “grow apart” is definitely just wishful thinking. i’m really not a Leyton fan but even i can see that it’s Leyton now, not Brucas. there’s no comparison between the two.

I don’t think Brooke’s relationships just revolve around sex! How would you explain the letters she wrote to Lucas over her summer? They were from the heart.
Yes, I admit many of her other relationships have been a bit sexual, but I think that is because she was never truly in love with any of them, the way she was with Lucas. Some of them were just rebounds, others were just random (Owen). Mark just adds a few entertaining lines to her scripts, to lighten up episodes.
Besides, I agree that Brooke’s relationship with Owen was far from sexual. She said one or two suggestive lines to Owen, but who on this show hasn’t had a sexual line before?

just because peyton felt like she was ready to marry jake when she was a teenager, doesnt mean that she should have automatically said yes to lucas, just because she was older. she said “not yet” to lucas because of their specific circumstances in their relationship, not JUST because of her age. she said not yet because she was just starting her job in LA, and because Lucas was just starting his life in tree hill.
she didnt even mention her age until the very end, and she said “and besides, we’re only 19″ meaning that aside from EVERY OTHER REASON she gave him, they still have plenty of time to get engaged and that there is no rush. not meaning that she thinks she’s too young to get married, but meaning that she didn’t understand what his rush was. it’s not fair to compare Peyton’s proposal to Jake to Lucas’ proposal to Peyton, because those were two totally different relationships that were in totally different places… it’s not JUST about age, there are other factors that come into play when you’re talking about marriage

The Brooke sex talk wasmostly funny to me, I had no problem with it. I was pissed at the beginning of the episode I was sure that Lucas, was going to give her Keith’s ring which is because he gave to Lindsey, but other than that I had no problem with it. At the end eith Dixon, I wanted Peyton to walk out and go what’s going on. Nathan’s basketball storyline is only interesting to me when he’s playing. Why the heck haven’t we seen Haley in the classroom or even the studio! Brooke was a little blah to me, even though I like Bruilin. They should have had a seen with Sam the next day about the new relationship.I really want to see Haley/Sam interaction again and see how Sam is with her sincen Haley’s like her aunt. I really wanted them to me at the spot of the lake from the fourth season because uit’s so much prettier. Jamie was just plain cute this episode, booing the team and calling the coach. I just want Nathan to reclaim his number. I’ve said this once on Fan forum, but I’ll say ut again. I want Peyton to be like the cheerleading coach. For me, I probably could get on board with Leyton if it wasn’t for all the previous proposals. By Peyton suggesting marriage to Jake, you can tell they were deeply in love, to even be considering marriage. And Lucas said ‘I do’ to Lindsey, showing he was ready for a commitment with her. Just those points lessen their relationship for me. It’s as if they can never fully love each other. Feelings don’t just suddenly disappear.
The one thing that bugs me A LOT about this show is how Lucas can suddenly switch who he loves. I always talk to my friends about it, and they completely agree. Lucas explained that he was madly in love with Brooke (s3), but then all of a sudden Peyton is the one for him(s4), and then he says ‘I do’ to Lindsey(s5). I don’t know, it just really bugs me that he is always changing his mind. It makes me feel as if any relationship he goes in to, there will always be people from his past who he still holds on to.
In that way, I guess I’ll never understand any relationship he is in, even if it is BL, or LP, or LL. Because he has professed his love to so many others that I can’t understand how he can suddenly let those feelings go and be all in it for one person.
I don’t know if all that made sense, because I’m really bad at putting things in to words. Maybe now I’ll be a ‘Lucas single’ shipper over anything else, lol, but even after everything BL will stick with me because they are just so cute. Again, please don’t bash, it’s my opinion.

I think last nights episode was significant on so many levels.
First, Lucas proved that Peyton was the one that he saw forever with. Taking her back to the spot where they met and even telling her he would go there when she was in LA and that he had always know who she was. When he told Haley he wanted to give her Keith’s ring and when he did give it to her, he told her it was “Fianlly” where it belonged. I think it proved he was beyond hasty when he gave the ring to Lindsay and when he proposed (but we know the ending there). This episode brought Lucas and Peyton full circle from their first encounter to planning their future and it was so sweet.
Honestly, (and I would never tell anyone to give up hope)but I think that the Brooke and Lucas scenes were nothing but friends talking to each other. I don’t see Brooke having any romantic feelings for Lucas in the least and I think Lucas considers her a close friend to both he and Peyton. That part of their life is so over and it is great to see Brooke happy with someone.
I don’t think it is fair to judge Brooke and the sex comments. She has not been with anyone in A LONG time, she deserves to be close with someone again.
I love Haley, but we need to see her in a real story and not just propping up everyone else.

Okay my thoughts:
I think everyone should leave brooke’s “sex comments” etc alone. The girl has practically been a nun for a few years now let her have some fun. And apart from that she’s going “steady” or whatever with julian anyway. Oh and we do not need another old boring married couple cus i’m sorry, but most of them are acting 45 not 22.
Okay the brucas scene. Personally I just thought it was nice to have their friendship back again cus yeah, she was attacked twice and he hasn’t even called to check she’s alive! I didn’t really notice romance but who knows.
The peyton telling brooke she loved her bf thing from season 3/4. Yeah even if she said she wasn’t going to act on it (and i believe that), it’s totally emotional blackmail whether she meant it or not…there’s no way you could even hold hands or anything with your bf if your best friend was just in the same building. You’d feel guilty.
Another thing…does anyone else think there is a sudden drought in bad guys? they need to bring back victoria or something for a bit of drama! Although I do think a bit of foreshadowing for something has been happening.
Oh and everyone talking about lucas maybe being killed off.. well, that might satisfy both fanbases to an extent…leyton fans would have the leyton baby and brucas fans wouldn’t have to watch pucas on screen anymore and brooke and peyton would probably be closer than ever.
Anywho, I think whatever happens it’s going to be an EPIC season finale (or series..hopefully just season finale though) Okay that’s me done waffling.

I want to comment on post #136 and #138…
For one, nobody knows how long Peyton and Julian was together before she came back to Tree Hill. So don’t may like she hopped right back on a plane to Tree Hill right after her and Julian broke up, because that’s surely not the case.
And second, it’s not that she expected him to still be in love with her, even though he said he moved on, but he really didn’t. LP was mostly Angst in season 5 but that Love was still there. If you really want to believe that he was all blissed out and in love with Lindsey, than you are clearly mistaken. And we have all these lines he subconsciously threw at Peyton as well as ‘THE COMET’ to back all that up, and as we all know now there was no denying that he was still in love with Peyton when he saw her again in Tree Hill. So if you want to be mad at somebody be mad at Lucas for not owning up to his true feelings.
And I LOVE Peyton, and the only time I see her being pathetic/desperate is when she went to Jake asking him to marry her. And she only wanted to marry him because Haley had Nathan and Brooke had Lucas..and she had nobody. But yet she goes running to Jake trying to settle for second best. But I’m glad he set her straight and sent her on her way.

And then peyton screwed over brooke when she hooked up with lucas…twice…and there’s all sorts of other things like rachel trying to hook up with nathan etc etc. the girl code is null and void.
Also I didn’t buy that whole business about lucas being all in love with peyton in 5th season…at the beginning he really did love lindsay cus guess what you can fall in love more than once! I just found it annoying that everyone kept telling him in both season 4 and 5 that he was in love with peyton and he should stop denying it etc etc. Maybe HE should decide for once instead of everyone else doing it for him!

yeah LPtrue<3always… no one ever said that Lucas was “blissed out on Lindsey”… even though he DID say ‘i do’ to her at the alter… but whatever, i guess that means nothing lol. our point was that whether Lucas is “blissed out” or not isn’t really the point. if Lucas is WITH someone else, and has been for TWO YEARS, then Peyton has no business showing up out of no where and trying to get in the way of that. Haley said herself that Lucas fell in love in the meantime, and Peyton needed to stop trying to take that away from him. she made comments like that a few times, and she was completely right.
obviously Lucas was still in love with Peyton, but no one can deny that Lucas WAS in love with Lindsey too. like brucas/brulian said, it IS possible to be in love with more than one person in a lifetime lol. nothing says that Lucas can’t ever love anyone other than Peyton, and he WAS in love with Lindsey. that was obvious. i mean he was with her for 2 years. so yeah Peyton trying to get him to break up with her was a BIT desperate on her part, and totally inappropriate.
you can like Peyton all you want to, but to act like she did nothing wrong in season 5 is ridiculous, because she was way out of line. whatever happened to just letting fate take it’s course, and letting things happen on their own?? all Peyton did in season 5 is chase after Lucas, even when he was engaged to someone else. she should have minded her own business and let HIM come to HER for once. chasing after an engaged man IS desperate. how is it not?? no one likes a homewrecker.
so… sure Leyton is together now, but Peyton WAS in the wrong in season 5. anyone who says otherwise is blind. period.
and brucas/julian… i do agree with you that it’s a little sad that Peyton just can’t be happy and content with being single. it was always either Lucas or Jake that made her content, whenever she was single she was always depressed. i think that’s part of what adds to her pathetic-ness… but that’s just my opinion. and i don’t want Peyton or Leyton fans jumping down my throat for this. not everyone likes Peyton, and i have every right not to.

After reading a few commoents here, it seams that people think that the Leyton love is not speaciel or as deap as they say because Lucas proposed to Lindseay and professied his love to Brooke and Peyton proposed marriage to Jake!!
Can I say that honestly, that they are forgetting a few things. The night after Peyton proposed to Jake, she was talking in her sleap, saying “I love you LUCAS”, Brooke basically said to Peyton after the shooting that she knew that it was really ment to be Lucas and Peyton and that although Lucas started wrighting the Book after he broke up with Brooke, it turned in to a book about how much he is inlove with Peyton. Lastly, you could see from the first scene in season 5 that Lucas and Peyton had that he was still in love with here, however much he felt her was in love with Lindsey!! ALso, he proposed to Lindsy with Keiths’ ring because it was the only ring that he had and he wanted to make out that he was planning it, which he wasn’t, he only proposed so that he didn’t have to admit his true feelings, that he had never stopped being in love with Peyton.
I think that this episode was so clever in showing that. Going back to where Leyton first talked, saying what they first said to each other, Lucas telling Peyton that he always knew her and that, after putting Keiths’ ring on her finger, that it was finally right where it belongs, showed that it was those two that were ment to be and that however deaplly you feal about someone other than the love of your life, their will always, only be the love of your life, your soul mate.

I also loved the Lucas and Haley sceen! The way Haley knew that he was joking when he “Proposed” the her and saying that she had alwaysed invisioned him giving Peyton Keiths’ ring, shows that they all know how much Peyton and Lucas love each other!!
I loved Jamie this episode he is so cute!!!!! The way he was fired up when his dad wasn’t playing and the phone call!!!!!!!
I also think the way that they got NAthan to teach Jamie that their is no I in team was great and to remind us that even the most talented people struggle at times, with NAthan hrdly playing.

alice… you didn’t mention Lucas saying ‘i do’ to Lindsey… sure you can get forced into proposing to someone, but you don’t agree to spend the rest of your life with them unless you really love them. and no one said that Lucas wasn’t still in love with Peyton. what i said was she was a homewrecker in season 5, by chasing after Lucas when he was engaged to someone else. that’s not hard to see. it’s also not hard to see that Lucas WAS in love with Lindsey, whether he still had feelings for Peyton or not. my point was that Peyton was pathetic and desperate last season. period. there’s no denying that. and that’s a big part of why i don’t like Leyton.

Lucas wrecked his own home BEFORE he got engaged. He was the MAIN one chasing Peyton.(And for anyone to even root for Lindsey and Lucas, it’s a slap in the face..some would call him out on it (LOL even Peyton!) and what does he say.. “I have to go see Lindsey” or whatever.) Anyway.. Yes, Peyton told him she came back for him, but she never acted out on that UNTIL 6×07 when she kissed him and HE kissed her back. But what does he go and do.. PROPOSE TO LINDSEY the same night (another slap!). Of course in 6×08, Peyton goes to him and justify what she felt that night they kissed and told him not to marry her. When he said he was ‘in love’ with her.. What does Peyton do? Backed off for his sake. …Now where else down the line was she chasing him?

Ok. So Lucas did say “I do” but what did Brooke say to Lucas in 6×10? That the brain tricks us into thinking that we are in love with the person that we are with so that we do not feel the crushoing pain that our heart is actually in?
I will never say that Lucas was pretending to love Lindsey, he did, or thought that he did as she was Lucas rebound as he they started dating after Peyton “no show” at the LA book singing!!!
He believed that he was truly in love with lindsey, which is why he said “I do!”
He also never proposed to or had any intention of Proposing to Lindsey untill he kissed Peyton back after she kissed him!!!!
