okay sooo… just about every scene that Brooke and Julian have together, they’re either TALKING about going to the bedroom, or in this case… they’re IN the bedroom. i mean i liked them at first, but i don’t know anymore. it’s just so hard for me to get into Brooke’s relationships because they’re so revolved around sex… and it’s really getting old

oh what do ya know, brooke and julian having a scene referring to sex?!?! no way! im sorry but there is no way anyone can argue the fact that brooke is slutty. i mean her and julian have been involved for what like 2 episodes now and they’re already sleeping together, and 80% of their conversations are about sex…. like seriously come on. for ONCE i would like to see brooke start a relationship with someone by actually having an emotional connection to them, instead of it starting from sex. i swear she only has one side to her when it comes to guys. she has defended herself a lot this season when it comes to being “slutty”, but theres no way anyone can say that she isnt. i mean just listen to her own comment in this clip, “sex didn’t make me popular, i made IT popular”

what’s with all the brooke hate! brooke has not been with a guy since season 4 and no offense but they are like 22, at 22 you are supposed to be having fun and exploring your sexuality what is so wrong with that! i mean everybody else on the show gets to be happy, so why start on brooke for being happy too! i think its gr8 thats she’s all giddy and her and julian are together! i mean im so die-hard team brucas but i like brulian!
and one more thing i know most people on here are leyton and thats fine i mean im glad that you guys are happy they’re together but if it was brooke he picked you would be mad about that but now that brooke has julian you’re mad about that 2, its like she just cant win

um no… leyton was never about sex. it looked like they were when peyton took lucas into that room in nathans house in season 1, but then she went to lucas and told him the TRUTH. she said that the truth was that she wanted all the same things that he wanted, right when brooke walked in and said “ready to score?”. leyton never hooked up just for the sake of hooking up, there were always feelings involved. dont even start comparing brucas to leyton as far as the sex thing goes. leyton was NEVER just about sex… ever
and its not that we’re mad that brooke is happy with julian, or that brooke cant win. its that in all of her relationships we have to hear about sex for half of the time. i understand that shes young, but its just annoying how she tries to defend herself when people call her a slut, when she makes comments like this that clearly state that she is. we would just like to see a little more of an emotional connection to a guy for a change before she starts dating/sleeping with them

i think someone made up that spoiler to get brucas fans hope up but in the end their hopes are going o be crushed beause i have a feeling that the baby will be born and the wedding will take place this season, lp are epic even brooke said so something about a kick ass epic love story…Brucas was never said to be epic or anything, Brucas was highschool love they haven’t even dated as adults and by the way lucas’s dream of brucas in 6×01 it seemed like it wasn’t what he wished for so yay LP kick ass

yes Brooke hasn’t been with anyone in a long time but… its the fact that she rushes into sleeping with guys or talking about sleeping with guys, before any real emotional connection/feelings are there that is annoying. it’s supposed to happen the other way around, you develope SOME sort of feelings first, THEN you sleep with them. with Brooke, it’s always the other way around, and it just gets old after a while.
i’m not bashing the fact that she’s happy, it just gets annoying when i feel like the only reason she’s happy is because she’s having sex, NOT because she’s with a guy that she actually cares about… because we haven’t really seen any of that. all we’ve seen is Brulian making out, talking about taking their clothes off, or having sex

amanda, after that hotel room scene… leyton made it perfectly clear that them hooking up meant something to them. in the car on the way home peyton said “it didn’t mean anything” and lucas said “it didnt?” and she replied “ofcourse it did”. then when they got back lucas was like chasing peyton around telling her that “he feels it in his heart” that he has to be with her, and all that stuff. my point was that leyton (unlike brucas) was never JUST about sex. there were always (deep) feelings involved whenever they hooked up

Something that I would like to say. People are afraid of love but it depends on how they think of love. Maybe people don’t have one true love, there are so many people that every person can fall in love with. Each love is different, the amount of passion, the amount of heat. Each time that someone falls in love, they fall differently. What counts is finding someone that you feel that way about who also feels that same way about you. When you find that person it feels like they are the only one you can feel that way about. It can be painful because it doesn’t always last, but when it does, its forever. So Brucas had their love, it didn’t last, that doesn’t make it not real. It did happen. Leyton, just has lasted, always come back. It’s a flame that isn’t going to be extinguished. It ok when love dies, because that doesn’t mean there won’t be love to replace it.

God Damn it!!! This is supposed to be Naley! Unbelievable! Lucas and Peyton get Naley’s baby and Brooke and Julian get Naley’s sex scenes, because you can’t even call them ‘love scenes’ now can you?! Ugh! I can’t keep my cool anymore!
If you guys want to be all technical and bringing up morals, then here’s my view- Nathan and Haley are married, they are committed to each other forever- they should be having sex EVERY SINGLE NIGHT! But noooo!!!!! That is unthinkable apparently. They get love scenes once in a while, WHILE being the key word there, and Brooke reverts to her skanky ways and hops into bed with Julian, and they show that???!!!!! They couldn’t even show “The encore to the encore” for Naley. And this time I’m not even going to abbreviate it – What the fuck?! I am so frustrated with the writers who write all the emotional story lines for Naley but never write passion for them! All I have to say is that Mark Schwahn and the writers had better get their shit together and make Naley the passionate and captivating couple that we know and love again!

You are basing your opinions on this sneek peak, but I believe this is more than just sex for Brooke. Honestly, she has not been with anyone for a long time and she met someone she connects with and it is their way of being close to each other.
I would give Brooke a break, I don’t see this as just sex for her and the jokes them made (IMO) are more about poking fun at the movie. We see the letterman jacket on the floor and it was supposed to entice memories of High School and how this connection has brought Julian and Brooke together. Sounds like Julian had a lonely time as a teen and he sees Brooke as this girl who is full of life and he is inspired by her.

Carol, I agree with you. Julian seems like him and Brooke could really be a true love but they are starting the relationship off wrong. Brooke always cries how Nathan has Haley and Peyton has Lucas and all how she wants to find the “guy” for her, yet she doesn’t seem to act like it. How many people can say that there spouse and them had sex within weeks of being a couple and lasted or even got married?
close to none right? Look I Love Brooke, I do but I just think that she needs to put some ice on it, she went that long with having sex no need to jump on the next hot guy coming your way. She is really to beautiful to have to amaze men with your sexual skills, cause i feel like she is doing that.

brooke is 22. Sam is 15. They are pretty much sisters. I don’t think she needs to “set an example” either. Sam is 15! Whatever she knows now, trust me, she isn’t going to learn much more.
And how could anyone possibly be calling brooke a slut? She’s known julian for months and apparently been dating him for a couple of weeks. AND he said they are “going steady” and that he “came for the other girl in the book”. Sounds like feelings to me!!

And another thing. Brooke hasn’t even kissed anyone since chase (with the exception of the semi brucas kiss in 5th season flashback thing).

I like Brooke, I do. I WANT to see Brooke happy, I’m happy she’s happy with Julian. HOWEVER, she is giving off two very different sides. I agree some people in their 20’s are exploring and having sex…that’s fine. I also agree that some people in their 20’s are trying to find someone to settle down with, and to have kids with. BUT I don’t think that those people in their 20’s are doing BOTH of those things. If Brooke wants to just have fun GREAT!!! Go for it, she’s young and hott!! Do it!! But the Brooke that we’ve been seeing lately, isn’t like that. She wants to adopt have a family. She is raising a teenager. She is more like a 40 year old than any other character on the show! (I don’t mean that in a bad way) Now all of a sudden she’s a 22 year old…exploring? Just having fun? If what Brooke wants is a meaningful, serious relationship (like she told Julian she wanted) she should act like that’s what she wants. I PERSONALLY would love to see Brooke develop stong emotions for a guy before she sleeps with him. It seems like she sleeps with them to get them to like her, then she thinks they are all her’s and they shouldn’t treat her bad. It just doesn’t make sense. It’s just so hypocritical!!

Oh Wow so she has been dating Julian for what a “month” at the most and it makes it all good. No offense but what happens when Julian leaves? Brooke has broken heart and to live with the fact she gave it up and he left?
WHatever, clearly people’s morals aren’t to good. I personally believe in waiting till your married but not everyone does and I respect that but don’t just give it to any guy. I could have known the guy for and year and we played hard to get but If i was really looking for a relationship, i would build our emotional connection before i even think of a sexual one. Trust it make it more special but than again that for girls who are looking for a serious relationship a true love not someone to just have sex with it.

Hilarie Burton Fan- yeah but weeks after begining to date Leyton didn’t have sex either. They have had there ups an ddown so for thm to have sex now isn’t something new. Okay so this is a really long comment thread and normally I would be so curious at to what everyone thought of the preview, but after reading the first few posts, NO THANKS!… I got so mad that I just skipped on down here to comment myself. I loved this scene and am completely blown away that anyone had sour feelings about it. They are adorable together. Why does anyone think it is wrong for Brooke to have fun. I lov ed her in HS and yes some may have considered her a tad sltty, but she has changed into such an amzingly independent person. That being said, in the last season or so I was dissapointed that because she was becoming so dependent the writers made it seem that she was incapable of having any fun or dating AT ALL. I love BJu and also love that they are not SO SERIOUS. They are having F-U-N remember what that is? I almost forgot that somebody in Tree Hill new how to have fun.
The second thing that pissed me off was that somehow without any warning Peyton was brought into the mix. But like I said I’m not going to go and read everything, I just thought that was pointless. What does Peyton have to do with this scene? Or Brooke and Julian? Peyton already gave her blessing, like Brooke needed it. Leyton has nothing to do with my new fav ship BJu. I mean, when they apear together i never feel that chemestry that a i feel when i see Lucas with Peyton, in all the seasons, even when Lucas is datting Brooke, the Leyton scenes are ammazing. I think Chad and Hilarie real can make us feel that the love each other since the first time. Sorry for all the Brucas lovers, but this is what i feel.

gotta jump in here and say that YES, brooke is a slut. period. are you all even watching the same show here? brooke herself has admitted to being a slut. and even in this season she has denied it numerous times, but as others have said, she totally contradicts herself. she made i dont even know how many sexual references to owen before she even really knew him, and in typical brooke fashion… showed up naked in his back seat. she was making out with julian after they had only known each other for what like a few days.

Seriously, I am very baffled by all of the bashing going on in here. From season 1 we learned that Brooke is extremely insecure when it comes to relationships: her parents were never there for her, Peyton and Lucas betrayed her (twice), etc. She never had the support system that the others had. I believe that Brooke behaves the way she does because of her past experiences. Being completely screwed over by a guy you have developed incredibly deep feelings for, and who claimed to have developed the same feelings for you, is enough to make any girl second guess herself.
Everything that happened with Felix began because she was afraid to get into a relationship again due to LP’s betrayal. Also, Chase came into the picture shortly after LP got together S4, which reconfirmed all of Brooke’s insecurities. Owen and Brooke met while Peyton was trying to get Lucas back. Let’s remember also, BO never even kissed! I think in the end, the point is that Brooke feels that sex is the only way she can get a guy. I’m not sure why, but maybe it has something to do with seeing Peyton and Haley just having guys go for them for reasons beyond the superficial. Brooke herself voiced her insecurities in the episode “Pictures of You.” I wouldn’t call her a slut by any definition, especially now.
Oh, and FYI, I’m fairly certain she turned Julian down the first time he mentioned taking things to her bedroom, preferably without their clothes. My goodness, what a skank! GMAB. Brooke hasn’t been with anyone that we have seen since the end of S4, not including the kiss with Lucas from S5. Also, I seem to remember her telling Julian that she didn’t just want them to be having fun, to which Julian went to her at the end of the episode and made their relationship official.

People Just want better for Brooke, it has nothing to do with Leyton. I just want Brooke to fall in love and get married, have kids and the white fence but I just feel she is starting her relationship off wrong. I love them together..but i’m a bit worried because if you remember it was clear at the beginning that Julian came to Tree Hill to get Peyton back…The fact that we didn’t see any closure makes me worried about Julian’s intentions..C’mon the guy pretend since the beginning he never came for Peyton when it’s obvious he did and now he’s all over Brooke..

yes that could be it. I guess I didn’t see any closure at that point because he says something like “when I arrived, everybody thought I came for the girl in the book, but I only came to make a movie”..which I just can’t believe!! And then, he says something like “I came for the other girl in the book”..
I don’t know. I just don’t buy the first part of him not coming for Peyton. And we didn’t see anything about him leeting go on Peyton. We just went from “I love Payton” to “I make out with Brooke”..
But they are really cute together so I really hope he doesn’t break Brooke’s heart and he’s not playing with her..

OK No offense to anybody, but Brooke is not a slut. Am I right or am I right, did she or did she not tell Julian that she didn’t want a “non-exsclusive”, “having fun”, “friends with benefits” relationship? She is far from a slut, so nobody needs to say anything about her and Julian having sex. Get real, they’re YOUNG first of all and second of all just because everybody else is settled down and having kids and getting married, doesnt mean Brooke has to be a prude! Funny how we can watch the same show and not have the same feelings about what’s going on…I mean that’s wierd beacause I felt like it was clear from the first time he appeared on the show!!
I think that what makes me questionning his intentions is that you know it cannot be all good..there’s going to be some drama at some point!! Like Leyton is happy but I really think something is going to go wrong with the movie and/or the pregnancy!!
And I feel the same about Brooke..With her relation with Sam doing OK, I think about her and Julian. It could have been Peyton not wanting them together, but since she’s fine with that, my guess is that he might not be the nice guy we believe he is..

hi i’m english and love oth and can’t wait to watch this series. i have always been a brucas fan they always make my heart melt!!. obviously i’m gutted lucas has chosen peyton but i have got my head round it and just want all the characters to be happy i’m a sucker for happy endings, but what really annoys me is self righteous leyton fans who always go on how perfect petyon is and just dismiss brucas as nothing and brooke just wants sex, brooke has always put lucas first and thats true love, sacrificing yourself for someonelse. all the sex comments are immature for god’s sake she’s a grown woman let her be happy. i slept with my now husband within a month and we have been together ten years with one little boy and another on the way sometimes you just know.

after reading more peoples comments above i do have to agree that it would be nice for mark to write some romantic scenes for brooke that are not about sex…only because it feels like its been done, and the writing kind of seems to pigeonhole her as the one character that does have sex. give her a new storyline, new depth, in that area.
but i still stand by my feeling on the use of the word slut…they dont have to make her a prude, either sex is not the end of the world people! crazy, i know.

Ok, normally I wouldn’t throw myself into this Leyton/Brucas drama but there is so much negativity being thrown Brooke’s way that I have to say something. To say that someone is a slut because they didn’t wait until they were in love or they didn’t wait for the ‘3 month rule’ or whatever is judgmental and, in my opinion, a little ignorant. Relationships don’t work on some perfectly planned out schedule…when it’s right, it’s right and only you as an individual can decide when that time is for you. Brooke and Julian may not have waited as long to have sex as Peyton and Lucas or even Nathan and Haley but let’s not forget that they’re not 17-18 years old anymore…they’re 22-23. The last time we saw Brooke have sex was in Season 4…the girl was due for some ‘lovin’ and if a guy like Julian had stood in my doorway and made an adorable speech like his, I would have been all over him! I say good for her because after all that she’s been through with guys, she still goes after what she wants and she’s not afraid to put herself out there. GO BROOKE!
And, as a last note, I want to say that I have been 100% Brucas since Season 1 but I’m jumping ship. It’s not because Leyton is inevitable and there’s no chance of Brucas(even though that seems to be the case) and it’s not because of Brulian (even though I absolutely love them together), but rather that I truly believe that Lucas doesn’t deserve Brooke. Any guy who could let go of a girl like B. Davis twice definitely does NOT deserve her. She’s better off with Julian..a guy who knows that ‘the other girl’ is, in fact, the better girl!

I don’t really think this whole conversation has something to do with the “Brooke vs Peyton” thing. I’m a 100% leytoner but I want to see Brooke happy and I love Brulian.
So what. Because she had sex with guys without being in a “real” relationship with them before she’s a slut. That’s so ridiculous. C’mon. She’s 22 and I believe she has the right to do what she wants when she wants with who she wants without being called names.
I’m 23 and that whole big deal about Brooke having sex with Julian really pisses me off. I don’t judge people who want to wait a long time before having sex or even until they get married. I’m not one of them but I respect them and their beliefs and I just don’t judge. So tell me why these people jump so easily into the judging thing? You do whatever you want to do and nobody comes in your way to tell you you’re wrong. So why would YOU be allowed to tell people who act differently that they are wrong? You think that a girl should wait before having sex. Good for you. Good for you if you wait months or even years before having sex with your boyfriend. But why a girl who doesn’t act like you and who doesn’t wait should be called a slut.

Ok… why is everyone being so mean to Brooke for sleeping with Julian? brucas/brulian I totally agree with your comment! Brooke may be keen on inuendo, but that is a MILLION miles away from being a slut. I like Leyton, but I don’t get why everyone is trying to make them out to be saints… for Lucas, the names Nikki Brooke and Lindsey spring to mind, 3 women other than Peyton he has ‘given it up for’ and for Peyton, Nathan, Jake and Julian spring to mind! Neither of them held on to their virginity for marraige but no-one is calling them sluts!
Brooke waited for AGES to have sex with Chase, and ok there were innuendos and sex references, but that’s just to make the show relevent to a young audience! She spent virtually the whole of season 5 ‘courting’ Owen and she didn’t have any kind of sexual relationship with him!

So this is a loosing battle for me seeing how no one can understand choice to tresure your body and not lay down with every guy who says your beautiful or that girl for him or whatever.
I have no problem with Brooke sleeping with Julian, my thing is why so early in the damn relationship. like Nate told Brooke in season 1 “Put some ice on it” would it really hurt her to IDK, give him a chase. i love nathan- Thats right Brooke Davis came into the show as a slut and in my eyes it never really left, yeah maybe emotionally and mentally she has changed but sexually Brooke will always be the horn dog she was in high school and i don’t see that as maturing at all. You learn from stuff, she knows how she was in high school and how every guy saw her as an a “good time” rather than a girlfriend.
Yes, I understand that no one has held on to there virginity long on this show, which is why i have a little problem with Mark and the writers, they make them all seem like sex hungry people who can’t get there legs close or thing in there pants. Millie is an example, I was so cheering her on and everything but than she lost it to Owen and that just ruined a really sweet girl.
No one is saying Leyton are saints but thats is the only thing I can give them credit for,along with Naley. They waited till they were in love and it was the right time,no matter how many wonderful words were said they had sex when the timing was right, unlike Brooke who all you have to do is say a couple of sweet words and you get a one way ticket striaght to her bedroom.
BTW, here’s a piece of advice for some of you girls who clearly are not to educated about men. Guys will tell you what you wanna hear to get in your pants and sadly many woman like Brooke Davis give right into it.( Not saying that Julian is that type of guy but right now we don’t know, he may say what he is saying and we all might be believing it but we don’t know the out come of this Julian character, so don’t make him her prince charming just yet.)

In actual fact, I was brought up in a Catholic household and went to church every Saturday (in England). But I also happen to be open minded to lifestyle choices that people make. I don’t think its fair to say that people who have sex don’t have respect for their bodies or ‘treasure their bodies’.
Don’t get me wrong, I am all for Leyton, I simply point this out by way of illustration: Leyton ‘waited’ until they were in love because circumstances prevented them from doing it before then!
In 107 the reason they didn’t have meaningless sex was because Lucas told Peyton he wanted it all and she said ‘this wasn’t supposed to be about that’… in other words they didn’t have sex because feelings WERE involved and it wasn’t meaningless.
Similarly, in 112, the only thing that prevented them from having sex was because Lucas was still with Brooke and Lucas suddenly had an attack of the conscience.
Once again, I’m not trying to suggest that Lucas/ Peyton are not meant to be or destined or blah blah… I am simply trying to say, none of the characters are perfect!
They are all fallable and all do silly things, but isn’t that why we love them?
Brooke is DEFINITELY not the girl that we met in season 1… I’d be the first to say she was a bit mean in the first half of season 1, but she has unquestionably evolved since then and is one of the best characters on the show!
I accept that some people may feel Brooke and Julian had sex too soon; nevertheless, I am NOT one of them! I think Brooke is great, and in not in any way a slut!!

mellz, youre ridiculous. i understand growing up in a catholic household, thats how i was (partially) raised, but i dont believe in any of it. however, being raised in that environment i do understand. however, you CLEARLY ignored 90 percent of my comment about how unfair it is of you to judge a girl based on her sexual past and say that no guy will honor her if she doesnt honor herself. nowhere, did i hear you saying that maybe brooke would not honor a guy if he had a sexual past. and by the way, blaming your closed mindedness on your religion is ridiculous…truly ridiculous. just because you want to be a virgin til the day you get married doesnt mean the rest of the world does, or should. and like i said before, clearly, again, you missed the point- at some point, you grow up and realize the rest of the world is not like you. and you learn to accept that without judging them and calling them sluts.

PeytonElizabethSawyer- For one I saw what I wrote and you must need me to explain it to you. What i meant by that qoute was that is the name you get when you are like Brooke. No one wants to be labled that but acting that way people tend to lable you that. I’m only speaking the truth, what do you think guys say about people like Brooke and all of those other girls like that? That they are nice wholesome girls who they would wanna marry??
You’ve all seen movie with guys putting girls numbers on the stalls saying how she is easy and how she does this and that, i’m pretty sure you know this. But no because I’m a girl simply speaking the turth about how guys and the world see girls who are like that I’m get ripped aprt? Why because I’m saying stuff you guy don;t like to hear, well sorry but like you said its the real world and in the real world its all about your actions not your damn words. So Brooke might me a good girl and really wants love but her actions scream “hey wanna do me?”

Look only someone who grew in a 100% Catholic home like me would ubderstand or even a Christian home or any home thats built on religion. Sadly though Now a day many families aren’t like that and TV and the Internet are raising kids, so I’m not suprised many of you don’t understand what I am coming from.
Yeah It might be wrong in someways for me to judge Brooke based on that and she really is a nice girl but sadly her sexual past over rides her emotional past( it might be messed up but that how I see it.) It she was such a good girl Brooke wouldn’t be where she is at, her life would totally diffrent.

Yeah,people do judge you on your sexual past. How many guy would want to be with a girl who 5 or 6 other guys had , same goes for girls. What girl would want a guy who had sex with more that 5 or 6 woman, I wouldn’t unless I’m just like him and who I have sex and the number of people just doesn’t matter.
CLOSED MIND?? Say what you want. My Parents taught me and my brothers to grow up the Catholic way, there is nothing wrong with that. And if it means I have a closed mind because I don’t support girls who have sex before marriage and opens there leg to any and every guy who says “there the one”, than closed minded I will be.
( Never said thw rold is like me but it just sad to see “ladies” like Brooke Davis belittle themselves in the human eye like that.

Loe Love Nathan Scott- Like I said, Mentally and Emtionally yes Brooke Davis has changed but sexually, she is still that horny teenager in my mind who can’t keep her legs closed long enough to find a guy who will respect her and not look at her as a quick fix or nice lay.

Mellz–I am 100% Catholic, born and raised with the values of the Church. Probably the biggest (and most important) teachings that Catholicism sets out to instill in its followers is to love one another and not to judge others. “Let he who is without sin cast the first stone”
If anyone were to call you a prude or something to that effect because of the way you choose to live your life, it would be wrong and offensive. You saying that girls who do not choose your lifestyle are sluts is equally wrong and offensive to a lot of the women posting on this site. You may think you are virtuous because you have not had sex but I assure you that God would not approve of your judgment on the people around you.

LizzyB- OMG!! Peoples, what I’m trying to sum up is why does Brooke have to have sex with Julian so early in th relationship!!! It branched off to other stuff but That was my message from the begining, is it so wrong for me to want Brooke or any girl have emotional relationship with a guy before you jump into bed with him?? If you don’t want to than don’t but in Brookes case she complains how she wants her true lovebut her action speak otherwise.

Sleeping with a boy before you’re dating him is NOT slutty. The only way it’s slutty is if you’re promisicious about it and have a VARIETY of guys. Brook is clearly into Julian and shouldn’t be put down for exploring her feelings for him, physically and more. As for disrespecting your body, how does having sex with a guy you’re into do thaaat?? Sex is a wonderful thing, before and after you’re “in love”, you just hafta be careful.
