Alexandra in Baltimore: Anything on One Tree Hill? Do you know yet if this is really the last season?
No word yet on if a decision has been made about a seventh season, but by the looks of the upcoming One Tree Hill eps, I’d say things are starting to wrap up in North Carolina. Julian is looking to take things to the next level with Brooke when he asks if she and Sam will move back to L.A. with him. Might Tree Hill’s resident fashionista settle down in California for good? Millicent and Mouth are going to rekindle their adorkable love soon, too! And hell must have frozen over because after six seasons of abandonment, abuse and even murder, Dan is finally going to apologize to Nathan and Lucas for being such a terrible father.

i think its time to wrap it up it seems the actors want to move on to biger and better things i think the show did well to get this far its a shame if it had to finish its a shame if they ddint ahve anything more to write about i guess we will see

i just want it to finish big so if this is the last season im ok with that but i am going to miss it if it doesn’t return for a 7th season but i don’t want it to turn out like gilmore girls did and whole season go down as a not so good season

if it wraps up after this season it will be sad, but i’ll be ok with it. I want it to end on a high note besides like someone said I think some of them maybe have other things they want to do like joy and they can’t do this show forever. But hey they’ve gone really far considering they didn’t think they would get past season 1.

If it wraps up this season I would be sad but OK with it too. Seems like all the storylines are coming full circle…I would be a satisfied fan if it ended after this season.

I would be a disappointed and happy at the same time. Disappointed b/c I will miss it on Monday nights and happy for personal reasons.. I would love to have a S7 but with all the news going around about Chad not wanting to come back the cast seems pretty whole.. Like a bicycle. You can’t use a bicycle without one of its wheels or the handle bars. (corny I know)

Knowin me I would cry on the last episode . But like ellie said every song ends is that a reason not 2 enjoy the music . It would be a happy endin if brooke julian r together with sam nd everything is gud with naley . And if peyton lucas have their happy ending with the baby nd they finally forgive dan . My monday nights will suck when one tree hill ends buh I rather it end great rather then it gettin cancled .

I want a season seven but I think it is infact time to wrap it up. It will be sad seeing the finale episode but really good i think. I’m excited to see what happens.

Kristen is always super off…plus she is just speculating because of 7th season hasn’t been announced yet but if OTH wasn’t coming back for a 7th season, don’t you think they would have announced it already.

personally i like the new relationship between brulian and it seems that it will be cut short.
if this is the last season, i hope that they do another 5 years past in the last epi so we dont have to wonder what happened to all of them.

^^^WE DO NOT KNOW FOR SURE IF SEASON 6 IS THE FINAL SEASON. Kristen is SPECULATING…plus if it would be the final season—Mark would make sure we all know by now.
CW is probably going to announce a 7th season, when they announce a new season of Gossip Girl

great so no one knows for sure if they are wrapping up or if they are comming back no problem i live in germany i can wait ( i remember them showing blood ties both seasons in a row and then they announced they are going to buy season 3 soon but there is no season 3 so waiting is like second nature

as sad as it would be i think that this should be the last season. they did it all amazing moments, sad moments …………….. frankly i dont see the point of a 7th season

whether or not this is the last season, it sure feels like it. They are writing things to come full circle and most storylines have felt like wrap-ups for quite some time.
I also don’t think Kristin is “speculating”, seems more like an educated guess.

Terry- I agree, It is kind of late in the season and Mark supposely doesn’t know, it would be very late to tell someone this is the last season and than they have to end the show they want to but like the next what 7 episodes! I think that they might be getting another season but it could be shorter than regular reasons and deff. the last one. I’m hping thats true!

I am really hoping they get a season 7, even if it is a shorter season. I just don’t see how they could wrap up all of the storylines in a way that would please fans and not feel rushed in the next 8 episodes. Peyton and Lucas have to get married. I for one want to see baby Leyton be born. If they honestly don’t know by now whether the show is returning there is no way they will be able to wrap it up the way it should be. This isn’t a show that is in it’s first or second year and got pulled. This is a reasonably successful show that has been on for six years and deserves a proper sendoff. I don’t want some rushed ending.

You know that I hadn’t looked at it like that…I mean OTH has been a little on the slow side, don’t get me wrong I love it but there hasn’t been much action or drama! So maybe it is b/c they are “wrapping” it up. That does make me sad. I mean I have said all along that without the core 5 I don’t want a s7 but it still is sad. But all of this non-drama could infact be a “coming to the end” sign
(or that something huge and horrible is about to happen)
Please let there be a 2 hour awesome finale!!!! I want no drama and everyone to end happy, “there is nothing wrong with fairytales, everyone lives happily ever after”

Heather–I agree but we need that core 5 to send it off the right way. If all 5 won’t return then there is no way for it to end the right way! So it should end this year.

hey i thought about everything again
and i dont think that no drama is a sign of wrapping up some one remember friends? there was awhole lot of drama until the end!!!(is she[Rachel] leaving or not…)

and a comment for all that are saying there will be one because they would have announced the end by now i think they will announce what s going to happen at a confrence when they talk about all CW shows so they can save some money on press costs!

i´ve got the feeling this is the last season, everyone is happy and it end like this. i mean the chemistry and romance between nathan and haley is gone, they sometimes act like they dont care or bored. if this is the last season give some more romantic scenes.. but at the other side,, why would leyton get in the mid season pregnant if there is short time, and brooke finds hapiness with julian.. and if one of the 5 wont come back there could be a 7th season, then there are new stories to be told but it wont be the same. if lucas quit, peyto have to raise the baby on her own (wich come to a lot of people)
if haley quits nathan have to raise Jamie (maybe a second Child) on his on with a chance to give brooke and nathan a chance to be a couple

Mark is 100% holding out for a 7th season. If he didn’t want a season 7 then the show would have decided and announced on their terms that this was going to be their last season. They have to make it seem like it’s wrapping up just incase the network doesn’t pick them up or a cast member decides not to come back.

Sorry to say Kendra but I think that you might be wrong. I Love Deb and others on this site have direct contacts with the show and have said that with in the last couple of days that have been told that this is the last season. I think it is the end, and if the core 5 don’t all come back then it should be the end!

Can they even tell us that?? Seeing how they are “so close with the show” Would Mark allow them to release this information about the show and he hasn’t even made a comment or any thing lately about this being the last season. I know everyone believes them and I kind of do, I won’t be depressed just yet. Waiting for the official news from Mark, not taking anything from these sources who cliam to be in close contact with the show.

NEWS! (Correction): I previously stated that Austin was signed for 10 additional episodes, this was incorrect. There was a miss communication, from what I’m hearing now, Austin should be in a total of about 15 episodes. This would be 5 episodes more than his original contract. However, all his episodes are not sequencial. (From what I hear) so there may be a few episodes he is not in.
Everyone on the set of One Tree Hill loves him, so if the show continues with another season, there is a strong possibility he will return. Nothing is set in stone yet, I will keep you undated as I hear more. Sorry for the confusion earlier!

I hear you Cha Cha, but I think it is accurate. I mean the show does kind of seem to be wrapping up…just as long as the story is complete I will be happy even if it ends this season!

i am definitely thinking that this is the last season. i mean i really just think its the smartest thing for the show to do at this point. if it is true that more than one of the actors dont want to sign back on, then they shouldn’t return for another season without those actores, just because the fans want another season. hell even if it was just one character not returning, i still wouldn’t want a season 7.
Mark needs to stick with the plan/vision for his show that he has always had. if that vision is ending it with all of the core 5, then that’s what he needs to do. he shouldn’t continue the show without Lucas or Haley just for the sake of more seasons and a couple of new (but depressing) storylines. yeah Peyton and Nathan raising kids alone would add drama/storylines… but is that really the direction that you all want to see the show go in? or the note that you all would want the show to end on? not me.

leytontla you hit the nail right on the head. i understand that no one wants to see the show end… but i dont think people understand what they are really wishing for by wishing for another season lol. if the show were to return for another season without lucas (or any of the main characters for that matter), it just wouldnt be the same at all… and it would ruin the whole tone of the show.
sure by getting another season that would mean that our favorite show didnt have to end, but it would also mean a 7th season of (what would feel like) a different show without the original cast… not the OTH that we all know and love, with the core characters that we all know and love.
and even if all the characters did return, i still think its time for the show to end. the storylines are already running low, and are getting repetitive as it is. theres no way mark could give us a whole new season of new (and interesting) storylines, if he cant even do that for this season. i love this show. but it needs to end.

exactly. either way, whether all of the actors want to sign on or not… i feel like its a lose/lose as far as a season 7 goes. a season missing any of the core 5 characters just wouldn’t be OTH. and another season WITH all of the characters… there is just really nowhere left for the storylines and the show to go… storylines are already running low, and i cant see that changing. so either way… its a lose/lose.
