Nick Lachey Coming to One Tree Hill
It’s his first big TV series appearance since the WB’s Twins.
(What, you don’t remember that show? OK, so neither did we.)
Still, reliable sources confirm to me exclusively that Nick Lachey is heading to the CW for at least one episode of the fan-favorite series One Tree Hill later this season.
So who will he play? And which lovely Tree Hill lady will he be getting close to?
According to insiders, Nick will be playing a singer, former reality star and former boy bander who is dating Vanessa Minnillo.
(Yes, he is playing himself.)
In the storyline, a record label wants to buy one of Haley’s (Bethany Joy Galeotti) songs that she wrote for Nick’s new album, but she is hesitant to sell any of her music, so he will appear.
Nick has a new album coming out this spring called Coming Up for Air, which includes a duet he recorded with new American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi.

Wow, that’s pretty awesome! Nick Lachey and Haley? Haley gets not only a storyline but an interesting one? I’m curious. I love how Pete Wentz was on the show as a character and now Nick Lachey will be on as a character… Love how this show continues to incorporate music.

What an interesting and odd addition to the story. So perhaps it wont be a full-fledged sotry arc but GASP Joy will have more lines YAY! I find it interesting that he of all people is going to be guest-starring considering the musical aspect of the show is not really geared to his genre but maybe this will pull in some more viewers. And thats always a good thing.

Like Amy & Angela, I’m just glad that Joy will FINALLY have some lines. She’s an AMAZING actress and totally killed in the one episode she actually had a bigger part in this season (1940’s)! Haley def deserves a storyline, like NOW. Plus, I had a huge crush on Nick Lachey like 10 years ago so I don’t mind seeing him!

I totally agree JloveLEYTONx3. And I’m so sick of seen M & C always sucking faces instead of LP or NH. And I certainly sick of seen M and M’s lovehate fights. In fine, I hate those secondary characters for stealing more airtimes from my Co5.
My point is, Haley deserved a storyline since forever and now I think we are gonna get at least a little taste of it. It’s about freaking time LoL.

I’m so excited. I love Nick and have long before 98 degrees ever became anyone. I think its because he is a hometown boy and Cincy loves their boys. And he is on One Tree Hill which is my favorite show. I’m loving this season!!!!:D

Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!! Hales!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ooohhh, I am extremely excited for this Haley/Nick interaction! They will have some kind of interesting connection with music and it will be a fantaboulous story line for Haley, I’m sure of it. So anyone trying to, please don’t try to belittle its importance by saying that it will probably only be a small arc or insignificant, or something like that. I’m thrilled that Haley is getting some length on the film strip!!! And the first thing that came to mind when Nick Lachey was mentioned was, ‘Cool, Haley gets to spend time with an incredibly buff man who isn’t her husband- maybe Nathan will be extremely jealous and possessive, which would be insanely hot!’SQUEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!! Go Haley!

I hate nick lachey. y dont they get real artist. some one who is really famous to boost ratings. like when they put kevin fed on the show. it was a joke to the public. honestly, i love mark, and he has great taste in music…..but nick lachey??
It looks like haley does get fired, and now is concentrating on music. looks like everyone’s storyline is coming to an end.

It’s great that Haley has somewhat of a storyline going, but NICK LACHEY? Really? Seriously? Couldn’t they have gotten someone better? Someone a little more respected in the music industry. I feel like barfing right now.

I personally don’t like these guest stars. They are ruining and stealing more screen time away from our beloved Co5. But if this means that Haley going to have a storyline……. then I’m all for it. I never ever gonna blame Mark for that. In fact, no one gonna blame Mark for that. We are seriously always bitchmoaning about Haley’s screen time LoL. So why can’t we happy about this situation?…… I truly, so damn happy about that she’s gonna do something other than cheering Nathan for his basketball career/comeback……..or having a same repeat conversation with him again and again and again and…………..again for like millionth time LoL. Seriously, having a tiny storyline with a guest star is better than that LoL.
Besides, Joy is one of the best actresses on this show…..She deserve to have a storyline like other people. I don’t know what to say furthermore. All I can say…..It’s about damn time, Mark. It’s about time.
