Poor Jamie! I wonder how he’s gonna take it, finding out about Dan.
March 7th, 2009 at 11:11 am
What a boring episode description. I don’t want to be Miss Negative but I really hope the actual episode isn’t as boring as the episode description makes it sound. We only have a few more episodes left of the season, only a few more episodes of LP, the remaining eps need to rock.
And, of course, lots of secondary characters to look forward to while Nathan is not even mentioned.
March 7th, 2009 at 11:15 am
^^atleast they’ve finally started mentioning Haley.
March 7th, 2009 at 11:17 am
i actually want Lucas’s movie to shut-down it annoys me that he is putting it before peyton and their baby, and i am so sick of all the unsubstantial scenes we get about it, i hope this episode isn’t boring.i wonder if in the end of 6×17 we find out that peyton and the baby are okay and that it was just a scare cause if she have a major complication that could kill her i don’t think they would jump right back into work like everything is okay.
March 7th, 2009 at 11:19 am
The baby must be ok… i’m not really fond of the movie storyline myself… and poor jamie
hope he’ll be ok!

Figured I would comment on this on a ’spoiler’ page so no one would get upset….. Does anyone know if Dan dies for sure in 6.18 or whatever? I do not see him mentioned in any of the spoilers passed that episode. Please tell me this isn’t true!!!!

Poor Jamie
this will be upsetting for him….woooo only a week to go til new episode yay so excited
this break was way to long…..
March 7th, 2009 at 1:16 pm
Hi I am new to this but I love one tree hill and I hates dan but I love him as a character and I hope he really don’t die
March 7th, 2009 at 1:30 pm
Poor Jamie :[
and I love Deb, ppl thought that the call sheet for this epi said that he dies, but it apparently just said “dan exits”..like the scene. So nothing has been said for sure if he dies or not. but that is true…he hasnt been on and spoilers proceeding this.
March 7th, 2009 at 2:28 pm
They only thing that sounds good with this episode is Jamie finding out about Dan. I really want to see whats going to come out of that. Even though Haley is mentioned it more about Mia. Ugh…

James Lafferty is #13 on 50 most eligible bachelors of 2009!

I honestly don’t care if there is Haley/Peyton/Mia interaction, cause I honestly like Mia. Just not with Chase
March 7th, 2009 at 2:44 pm
Yeah the only good thing about that episode is Jamie finding out about Dan. He better not die, or I’m going to cry for sure.
Doesn’t the call sheet just say Dan packs, exits. or something like that? I dont think they would just kill him off. And it doesnt really matter if hes been mentioned in later episodes, that could just mean he isnt in the episode. Well, we’ll just have to wait and see I guess.
March 7th, 2009 at 3:58 pm
i cant wait to see jamies reaction and how he finds out
March 7th, 2009 at 4:22 pm
Dan is not going to die
Jamie and Dan scene should be interesting … the rest better not be boring s6-style
March 7th, 2009 at 4:25 pm
so… my family and i live in raleigh NC and my sisters and i make trips to wilmington quite often… and my little sister was down there today and she said that the clothes over bros building is up for lease. i know its already been confirmed that we’re getting a season 7… so i just found this kind of interesting, maybe they wont be using clothes over bros anymore???
March 7th, 2009 at 4:27 pm
^that’s interesting
is that’s why Victoria back!? Taking back the last part of the company?
March 7th, 2009 at 4:35 pm
who knows! i mean i know that the house they use as Lucas’ house has been up for sale for a WHILE now too… but since most of the scenes we see using his house are from the inside (where they actually film in the studio), i guess they could get away with selling it. but they actually film inside the c/b building, so i just found it especially interesting that it was up for lease
March 7th, 2009 at 4:57 pm
yeah, Dan doesn’t die. It says “Dan packs, exits.” curlyhead edited her spoiler post on FF after I pointed out her misread of the call sheet.
March 7th, 2009 at 6:13 pm
thank you, i never changed that on the spoiler page.
March 7th, 2009 at 6:36 pm
why they giving so many scenes to jamie, mia and dan.. it just needs to be the core 5….
March 7th, 2009 at 8:24 pm
I love DAN! Give me more of him, not less!
March 7th, 2009 at 9:50 pm
This episode description is one example of why I’m ready to let this show go and why I’m okay with LP leaving.
Dan is part of the extended core for me so he should be getting scenes. But Mia, Jamie, Sam, Julian, etc? They’re fine, but they better not have more scenes than the core. Small doses, please. Also, Dan needs a better storyline because all he does is hang around with his grandchild. I can’t believe how many storylines Jamie has had compared to Haley, who was there from the beginning of the show.
March 7th, 2009 at 11:11 pm
The OTH writers needs to get rid of all these side characters, because I honestly want them gone off of the show. I miss season 1-4 where the focus was on the core five and the adults. No more Mia, Chase, Owen, Millie, Sam, and Jaimie. I can’t take it! lol I want Karen, Whitey, Deb, Rachel, and Dan back. Cut the b.s. OTH writers!!!
March 7th, 2009 at 11:15 pm
i agree with peytonothfan because with chad/hilarie out of the picture, and the storylines getting repititive and bland they should’ve ended it after this season. I love the show don’t get me wrong and i’ll watch til the end , but like i have said this should’ve been the last season. I really only watch it for naley and they give all the scenes to julian, mia, and chase who are a snore. I do actually like dan/jamie scenes they’re cute. I mean what stories are they going to do in season 7 w/out the core 5? Season 7 is going to be a “jump the shark moment” where a show goes on to long and starts doing ridiculous things to get more viewers and make it interesting. They should’ve gone out with a bang and with everyone. Okay i am done rambling sry.
March 7th, 2009 at 11:17 pm
oh also, get rid of mouth/gigi/and millie they have absolutley no relevence to the show whatsoever!!!! ok now im done.
March 8th, 2009 at 12:29 am
Oh no kidding. I could take Millie/Mouth in small doses, like very small, but they started giving them way too much screen time.
Side characters are only supposed to fill up the time that the core 5 doesn’t need. But you always have to give the core five actual storylines. I wouldn’t give a crap about the shitty side character storylines if the core 5 actually had some decent scenes, and got a lot of screen time. You know when Junk and Fergie appear in episodes but its only for like 30 seconds, or like with the double date thing or the casting for the movie? Thats how much time Mouth/Millie/Gigi(if she has to be on the show. ugh)/Sam&Jack (waste of time those two; I get the Brooke & Sam interaction though). I actually wish they’d bring back Junk and Fergie for more episodes. Like not too long, but more then 30 seconds.
And don’t get me started on Haley. Omg. Julian has had more screentime then her I bet. And he actually has storylines. Actually, all the secondary characters have had actual storylines compared to Haley. Why are they wasting Joy’s talent?! She’s amazing!
All this is why I haven’t enjoyed the past 2 seasons. Too much secondary characters, not enough of the core 5. And they could’ve done without the Nanny thing. That was just bad writing. There are so many other better storylines they could of come up with for Naley then.
Ginny I agree with you. A seventh season for OTH is just going to be baaad. I’ll watch it of course, but .. ugh.. I wish they would just stop. I wish they had stopped last season. Actually, scratch that, this should be the last season. Only reason I’m saying that is because Chad and Joy and James got to do behind the scenes stuff so that was good for them. But next season, their going to either repeat a million storylines, have all the secondary characters have more screentime than the remaining core or come up with really stupid storylines (crazy nanny anyone?)
March 8th, 2009 at 12:30 am
i agree! secondary characters should not be getting more screen time than the main characters. Its really getting annoying now. Mia/Chase/Sam/Jamie/Millie/Mouth needs to go. Im fine with Julian.
March 8th, 2009 at 3:25 am
Yeah definitely agree with all the “too much secondary talk”. However, I like the Sam/Brooke storylines. Jack/Sam, however, I could do without. I think Haley will (hopefully) develop more storylines than she has if she does lose her teaching job…which I think she is going to. I think Mia has been overplayed. It was cool in S5 when she was there, but didnt have huge storylines..and then she just got annoying in S6 (the Mia/Chase thing just totally overdid it). Especially w/o Leyton next season, we need a LOT more Peyton/Brooke, Lucas/Nathan, Lucas/Brooke, and Lucas/Haley scenes. *EMPHASIS ON THE LATER* ;]
March 8th, 2009 at 4:10 am
90210 first lost brenda then brandon and the show survived without either two. same with OTH. i can’t wait for a season without leyton. no cheesy scenes anymore
March 8th, 2009 at 4:18 am
90210 is a totally different situation. They had more than 5 main cast members. They also had better writing.
Even without leyton next season, there will be more chessy scenes
March 8th, 2009 at 4:31 am
I guess I’m one of the minority that has loved season 6…Probably will like season 7 more since it will be more Nathan and Haley centric…jess, you actually think 90210 had better writing, that’s just sad…the whole concept for One Tree Hill was so much better, it just lacked the cSpelling name to ever create the mass following…Unless we mention season 5, which was pretty dull writing wise..
March 8th, 2009 at 8:17 am
I must be against the grain I think because season 5 was actually one of my favourite seasons so far. I liked the time jump and that the characters were a bit older and out of highschool. I was a big fan of 90210 in it’s day but disagree that it had better writing. There was many a cheesy scene involving various members of the Walsh clan. I don’t have a real problem with the secondary characters. I particuarly like the Sam/Brooke pairing and I also actually like Mia and Chase and Mouth & Millie. I would like to see Mouth have more scenes with other members of the core 5 though rather than always just with Millie.
March 8th, 2009 at 9:23 am
It is kind of ironic that Haley is back for season 7 when she has had a really bad season 6 in terms of storylines and screentime.
March 8th, 2009 at 1:29 pm
hey john you might want to read my statement again and the one below mine. lucy said the 90210 writing was better, NOT me. get your facts straight before calling someone out.
March 8th, 2009 at 4:34 pm
I’m not gonna even begin to speculate whether OTH should have a 7th season. IMO the only show for me that survived after losing one of its core characters was Charmed and that was mainly because the storyline remained the same. It began with 3 sister witches and ended with 3 sister witches. Sure there were other characters intertwined with the sisters but they didn’to hog the sisters storylines. People compare 90210 to OTH but you really can’t because it had a huge character base so the story wasn’t just about the Walshes. So the Walshes leaving should not have affected the storyline however when they brought in all the additional bottom feeder characters, the writing began to suck hence their attempt at bringing Dylan back to try to increase ratings. Unfortunately even that didn’t work. The only good that came out of it was Donna and David’s reconciliation and eventual marriage. 90210 like Friends lasted much longer than it should have and the storylines became very dry, no imagination and just down right boring. I really thought the OC which was one of my favorites could survive without one of the core characters but it proved me wrong. I will be the first to say I jumped up and down when they killed off Marissa because I couldn’t stand her character but as much as I hate to admit it, I had to bite my tongue cause the showed really went down after Marissa was killed off. Although I didn’t like her character, her character was definitely missed and it showed so in the writing. So can OTH survive with only 3 core characters, well only time will tell. I’m not sure how long I’ll hang around because the show just doesn’t have the spark it used to have. Yes I’m a huge, huge Leyton fan so season 6 for me is great but I do see a lot of repetive storylines and I find myself not watching the whole show anymore which is really too bad because during seasons 1 -4, I was totally hooked. I could watch it from beginning to end and would be satisfied. This is so not the case for me now. So as I said only time will tell. But seeing the spoilers for the next few episodes don’t leave me with a lot of hope although I am looking forward to episode 17. March 16th can’t come soon enough.
March 8th, 2009 at 5:52 pm
no way does 90210 have better writing. i like 90210 but I doubt it’ll last 7 seasons. i kind of agree about the secondary characters – i like them, but in small doses.
March 8th, 2009 at 6:12 pm
I think they were talking about the old 90210 not the new one
March 8th, 2009 at 11:33 pm
just a thought that just came to me about the title of this episode..
isnt it written somewhere in Lucas’ first book that the moment when he realized Peyton was “the one” at the championship game, that it was a moment of “clarity”? perhaps it has something to do with this episode as well. Idk, i could be completely wrong. Just saying, maybe something is going on with Lucas and Peyton that they don’t mention here.
March 9th, 2009 at 8:20 am
i thought this epi was the one with peytons accident? and Dan in hosital?
guyz one week to go yeah!!
btw i was watching season 5 ysday on E4 and i didnt realise when lucas proposed to peyton she said not yet i alwayz thought she said no…and then he was like i’ll wait for you…i thought yeah right!!..one more thing i miss is the credits at the start with the theme song
how come they dont play it anymore?
March 9th, 2009 at 9:35 am
Hi Emz!
Peyton’s accident isn’t until episode 6.21- A Kiss To Build A Dream On. & Dan’s in the hospital in episode 6.18- Searching For A Former Clarity. Hope that helps!
Oh! & I totally agree about missing the credits! It would be really cool to see how they would make the credits this time around, but the reason why they dont play it anymore is cuz they get more screen time with telling the stories instead of playing the credits..
Well thats from my understanding.. hahah
May 12th, 2009 at 7:31 am
you cant get rid of jamie then it wouldn’t make sense cause Haley was pregnant. what is she going to be pregnant for the rest of time
