Episode 17 You and Me and the Bottle Makes Three Reaction
Wow, what an amazing episode. Finally, we got to concentrate on the core 5 and core stories and simple interaction between them. It was an amazingly awesome, emotional episode. So let’s look at my thoughts how they did.
“The Surprise”
I love that Peyton fought for her baby. I loved that she wanted it so badly because it was them. And wow, I loved that she was going to call a boy Sawyer. Denise, did you not call that? But most of all I loved that Lucas was fighting for Peyton. I watched the Pilot earlier today and tonight I remembered those scenes where Lucas simply adored Peyton and here years later, all he still wants is her. Ahhh, be still my heart. The only thing I didn’t like about all that is it sounded like Peyton was trying to convince it would be A-OK if she died which it WOULD NOT. Mark, do you hear me?? Peyton can not die!
“The Long Goodbye”
We’re not nearly as invested in Mouth and Millicent but I have to say I liked that Mouth took responsibility of his part in their failed relationship. Again, I liked that he fought for them but I guess I have to hand it to Millicent to realize she needed to work through her own stuff.
“The Seven Year Itch”
Was it not great to see Nathan and Haley happy and together. The fortune cookies and the phone sex…it was great to see them playful with each other. And great to see them dream and dream big together.
“The Deleted Scene”
First I have to say What is Brooke’s problem??? OMG, Julian just said I love you, I’m in love with you!! Holy cow, she is crazy not to jump all over that. She clearly and plainly stated she did not love Lucas anymore and that she was not Peyton. Is she really still not capable of loving someone after over five years? Had a really hard time processing that one. But kudos on the writing. I love when he says “I’ll wait for you.” But this makes me so sad because it really sounds like they might be over and I do NOT want him going anywhere. OMG, it just hit me…are they going to kill off Peyton and have Brooke with Lucas??
“The Cold War”
Wow, did I miss some Dan and Deb. As I was saying I watched the Pilot and I was thinking how much I missed them arguing. Sounds kind of funny but I did and wow, when is the last time we saw someone arguing about Keith? It felt very OTH-ish to hear about Keith again. And it appears their war continues. But Dan’s life may be spared as they have his heart.
Definitely one of the best episodes of the season. What’d you think?

i definitely caught the brooke and lucas raising peyton’s baby. but i don’t see theoretically how it would happen. i’m pretty sure it’s a no-go.
i don’t think that mark will kill off peyton. i think he wants them to end up together, happy little family.

I agree abby about julian and his “thing about luke”… I didn’t really like the way julian was talking to brooke I mean he was harsh saying saying u look a mess and Thens get dressed to go with him and then he sees a past picture of her luke and angie and he becomes the biggest jackass and coward in my eyes… Brooke can do better…

Yeah, I’m really scared they’ll decide to kill off Peyton just after everything she was saying and put Brooke and Lucas together (no offense Brucasers) But.. it couldn’t happen because they’ve worked so hard to come to this point, why throw it all the way?
Best episode ever. Could’ve done without Millie/Mouth.. sorry not a fan of them. But it wasn’t horrible to watch either. Otherwise, SOOOO happy with the time each couple got. Loved the way the episode was formatted so each couple got their own slot I guess you could call it. I loved each couples scene. I actually thought that Jamie was going to come down when Deb/Dan were arguing and be like “You killed Uncle Keith?!?!” I wasn’t sure if he found out this episode or next episode.. haha.
And Naley love!! OMG! Phone sex.. aha. And they actually did have sex so maybe we’ll get our little girl scott. aha. I would love that! I missed that interaction between them. And when Haley popped out, I actually jumped, it scared me so much! I was not expecting that. Leytons scene made me cry.. I loved how much chemistry they had and how emotional Chad was. I was so not expecting that. I also cried during Brulians scene. Ugh I wish they would be together!! (like with Brooke saying I love you)
Great way to come back from the break! Totally worth the.. 6 week wait?

I actually think it was kind of crappy that Julian was almost forcing Brooke to say she loved him. She shouldn’t say it if she doesn’t mean it. That would be worse. She’ll say it when/if she’s ready.

We all know how Mark loves to screw with our heads and put ideas that something could happen and do the complete opposite. Like the S5 cliffhanger as prime example. There is no way Brooke should ever settle for being Luke’s second choice or consolation prize because the love of his life has passed away. And considering they’re currently filming LP wedding scenes and are ONE ep away from the finale and we’re pretty sure CH are not coming back…it’s just doesn’t seem plausible to me.

My fave. part of this episode is that when it comes out on DVD I can skip over the mouth/millie scene and not worry about missing anything else
Also mentioned this on another post as well but am soooo curious now…. Did anyone else hear that chad and hil signed on for season 7?? Let me know whats going on if you know!

loved this episode! it was just very substancial and informative… it actually had a purpose.
Leyton was so great. my favorite part about their scenes was how hard Lucas was fighting for Peyton… and proving to us that he needs her, that at the end of the day all that matters to him is that he has her, and that he can’t live without her. i’ve been waiting to hear that from Lucas for a long time, so i’m glad that we finally got that from him tonight. Chad and Hilarie’s acting was just amazing… great episode for them, bottom line!
Brulian actually surprised me tonight, by bringing more to the table than just sex and fighting. i’m with Amy though, the notion that Brooke is STILL “unable” to love anyone after like 5 years of ending her high school relationship with Lucas (mutually i might add)… just doesnt make much sense to me. we all love someone at one point or another in high school… and most of the time it doesnt work out. but that doesnt mean that because of that, you can never love again lol, i just think that was a little over the top. and we all FINALLY heard it from Brooke’s mouth, she DOESNT love Lucas anymore! hopefully that will put some of these Leyton vs Brucas debates to rest. i just think their whole scene referring to how Brooke has never loved anyone other than Lucas was just to build up to the point later on, when Brooke will finally let Julian in, and tell him that she loves him.
Dan and Deb were interesting too. it was interesting listening to them rehash Keith’s murder. and honestly, i couldn’t care less about Naley and Mouth/Millie… but the rest of the episode was good! but Leyton definitely stole the show!

i HIGHLY doubt they will kill off Peyton and have Lucas and Brooke raise their baby. that’s just how Pearl Harbor ended and i doubt Mark would want to copy someone else’s idea. PLUS… we all know that Mark is Leyton’s #1 fan… i really don’t think he would want that to happen.
and i’m sorry but i thought the whole Brooke not letting Julian in thing was a bit ridiculous. i mean it’s been what… 4 years since her and Lucas broke up? it’s a little unrealistic that she’s STILL scared of love. i found myself rolling my eyes during that whole scene. and how did Lucas break her heart anyway??? they ended things after the basketball banquet MUTUALLY after they realized that Whitey’s speech about love wasn’t about them. her whole scene just irritated me tonight it didn’t make any sense.
and was it just me or does anyone else get the feeling that Naley isn’t going to last?? i know some of you are going to think i’m crazy… but there seemed to be a little foreshadowing in tonight’s episode that they’re going to break up later down the road, with all the talk about Haley going back on tour. there’s no way that they could make that work. and when Jamie asked Dan if he thought his mom and dad are going to make it to the finish line i was like hmmm… that might be a bad sign. i just have a feeling they’re going to run into some trouble soon… especially with another season coming up. they’ve gotta run into some problems eventually…
overall i thought the episode was a good one. the Leyton pregnancy stuff kind of came out of no where, but Chad’s acting was really good. i’m sure Mark wants them to have a happy ending… but i can’t help but think about all the possibilities Lucas’ storyline could have for season 7 if they killed off Peyton. him being a single dad and raising their baby… it has a lot of potential i think.
wow… sorry for typing a book haha. but those are my thoughts about tonight!

in no way am i worried about lucas and brooke getting together in the end and raising leytons baby. i think that would be a huge slap in the face to both the leyton and brucas fanbases. brucas fans should want more for brooke than her being the girl that lucas just settles for… because that is obviously what she would be. and sure leyton fans would get some satisfaction of knowing that lucas is only with brooke because peyton died… but we would still cringe at the image of lucas, plus leyton baby, plus BROOKE…. ew lol.
no, i agree with LeytonTLA, this episode tonight was just to make us THINK that something is going to happen to Peyton, and that Brooke will never be able to let anyone else in other than Lucas. but in the end, Peyton will be fine and Leyton will get their happy ending… and Brulian will get their climax where Brooke is finally able to let Julian in and will admit that she loves him.

I liked this episode. It was really emotional during the surprise. I kinda wish they would have told what was wrong with Peyton. I think after investing six years into the will they won’t they relationship of Leyton us Leyton shippers deserve some sort of happy ever after ending. I think that anything else would be so disappointing and I’m talking a bitter sweet ending with them being happy and then something happening. I think we should get them leaving with the possibility of them coming back for guest stars. I think it would be so cruel of Mark to have another “Sawyer” grow up without a mom. Which I have to say what Lucas said about how Peyton was affected by that happening to her was a “dick” thing to say but then he followed up by saying if he had to guilt her into saving her life he would do that. I’m hoping like Peyton that everything will be okay and they will be dancing at their kids wedding and spoiling their grand kids even though we won’t see that its part of my Happy Ever After fantasy. Also to comment on the whole Brulian thing I think Julian is very insecure that he couldn’t handle that Brooke wouldn’t say I love you back.

Nah, they won’t break Naley up. They’re probably the one couple you can count on being together. Of course were going to see a lot of trouble down the road, but thats to be expected. But at the end of the day, its always going to be “always & forever”

lindcasfan, chad isnt even returning for another season lol. he is the one that originally wanted to leave in the first place, and THAT is why hilarie is leaving, because peyton has to follow lucas out of tree hill. i cant see them getting rid of hilarie and keeping chad, when clearly hilarie is the one that wants to stay… and chad is the one that has made it clear to numerous fans numerous times that he’s ready to leave. in fact just a few days ago in wilmington he told a group of girls that hes moving to LA soon

STANDING OVATIONS for Chad and Hilarie!! I can’t get over their scenes. They made me LOOOOOOOVE Lucas and Peyton even more. That Emotion, that Passion, that Determination, just makes my heart flutters more and more. Most definitely AMAZING!

i don’t think so… i really have a strong feeling that Naley won’t be together in the end. call me crazy but it’s just a gut feeling i have. especially after Jamie asked Dan if his parents are going to last forever. i think Mark was trying to get us thinking about the possibility of them not lasting. could be wrong but… i just have a feeling. they’re too happy go lucky all the time. that’s not real and it can’t last forever. if it did that would be boring and too predictable

Chad leaving hasn’t been confirmed anywhere. and i’m not saying he’s going to stay… i’m just saying i think it’s dumb for people to rule that out until it’s confirmed, which it hasn’t been yet. i never said that’s what was going to happen next season, i said i think it would be really interesting if it did. that’s all. i’m not like everyone else on here… i don’t believe things until i see proof of it. the rumors about Chad leaving have been flying around forever now, and i think it’s a little odd that after all that time we STILL haven’t seen any confirmation of it.

If Naley doesn’t last, it will leave a sore taste in my mouth about the entire 7 season I watched this show…As Brooke said in season 3, they are supposed to be the ones to show everyone true love exists in the world and perseveres…It just wouldn’t be right, and wouldn’t be true to the show in my humble opinion

lindasfan i actually agree about naley! i got that impression tonight too… they were just a little too happy-go-lucky tonight when they were talking about their future together. but they cant be this fairy tale couple all of the time. i mean they fall in love and get married at 16, have a baby, and live happily ever after? no… somewhere along the road they’re going to have to have some relationship issues.
and plus earlier this season nathan and Q were talking about how nathan cant let ANYTHING hold him back from his dreams, and how haley needs to follow her dreams too. i think they are both going to fight for their dreams this time, and that will get in the way of their relationship

I just wanted to comment on Brooke having trouble letting
Julian in. I dont think its ridiculous at all. As far as
I can tell Lucas is the only person shes ever truly been
in love with. And she got burned not once but twice. It
dosent matter how long its been I can understand her
wanting to be cautious with Julian. I think its more
ridiclous for Julian to be saying I love you right now
they havent been seeing each other long enough for that
They are still getting to know each other. ANd to add
another comment i totally believe Brooke when she says
she isnt in love with Lucas anymore. Just because
she isnt rushing to tell Julian she loves him dosent mean
she still Loves Lucas. It just means shes just trying
to be honest with herself and Julian and wants to take
her time to make sure its right before she gets too
invested in the relationship. Nothing wrong with wanting
to protect your heart. Julian should just be patient
with her and like he says wait for her. If he really
loves her he will do that until she feels secure enough to admit she loves him.

how did she get burned by Lucas??? yeah he cheated on her but when they ENDED things it was MUTUAL!! she wasn’t heartbroken back then, so why is she STILL playing the victim now when they BOTH agreed to end it. bottom line is it’s been 5 years since they broke up. her still being scared of love is just absolutely crazy. no one dwells on stuff for that long. it was a high school relationship for crying out loud, and it ended on a fine note! it just didn’t make any sense.
and steph i’m glad you agree with me about Naley!! and yes, they did both agree in a previous episode to both follow their dreams and not to let ANYTHING get in the way of that. it’s gonna get interesting…

omg. peyton angered me tonight. i get that she is sad and all. but she doesn’t realize that lucas wants her, not the baby. and if she wont be around to enjoy it, why put her life at risk when they could just have another baby. i mean, it would be different say she had a terminal illness and wouldn’t live. but she will live if she doesn’t have this baby.

Great episode! Leyton made me cry. And FINALLY some Naley scenes like they use to be. I am concerned that troubled waters are ahead. Cue Nick Lachey. Could he cause a rift with Naley? Nathan wants Haley to follow her dreams of singing and going on tour. But will he like it when she is singing/writing with the likes of Nick Lachey?

“The Surprise”
Wow. That’s what i have to say about Chad & Hilarie’s acting! They were absolutely amazing tonight!!! I really think that tonight was Chad’s BEST acting by far! The angst and love was so beautifully portrayed.. When Luke cried, i just lost it. hahah im such a baby. and can i just say, that nursery was THEE CUTEST NURSERY EVERRR!! i Looove how he was fighting for her and she was fighting for their baby. so beautiful. I looove how they recalled pretty much their WHOLE history in summary form.. hehe that made me happy.. even if she was joking when she shouldnt have.. she all mentions how sexy Luke would be if he was like daddy Jake! hahah. But im so happy! This episode was awesome for Leyton.. in a good sad way.. if that makes any sense at all. hahah

Ugh.. is it just me, or am i just tired of M&M’s indecisive wants.. or confusion. Err im just annoyed.. but i do agree with you Amy on how Mouth is owning up to his faults & Millie should focus on herself. Moving on.. hahah pun intended.
“The Seven Year Itch”
I’ve got to say.. Naley was really cute tonight! It was good to see them as how they USED to be.. they’ve just been such a chill married couple with a Jamie.. that it just tends to get old after a while.. so tonight, seeing them really happy was a good change of pace! & i really love how it was really kind of like a scene in The Notebook except the other way around with Haley like Noah with showing the house and stuff. heheh so cute! & what was EXTRA adorable was how they were being playful with chasing each other.. too cute! Good light episode for Naley tonight!
“The Deleted Scene”
All should be well in Tree Hill. I have to also agree with who said that they didnt really like how Julian was tryna MAKE her say I Love You.. its like, dude, when she’s ready.. but still shes weird for not being ready. hahah its all complicated!
I have to agree with all yall on the Brulian scenes.. LeytonTLA, LindcasFan, Steph, & Amy! You all have said it on point! Its really weird how she cant open up.. well she was hesitant to open up to Owen as well.. DUDE!!! HELLO! PEOPLE ARE FORGETING ABOUT CHASE!! WASNT SHE LIKE “IN LOVE” WITH HIM?!?!! WASNT HE THE LAST GUY SHE WAS IN LOVE WITH IN HIGH SCHOOL?!!?!?! i TOTALLY forgot about their relationship! So okay, that just proves how RIDICULOUS it is to say that Lucas was the last guy she was in love with.. WEEEAAAAKKK SAUCE man! & Plus, there was that creeper teacher Nick. so whateverr man.. hahah. Omigosh, is it just me or is Julian stealing all of Peyton’s lines? hahaha jk. but they have said the same things.. Peyton said those exact words to Lucas: “I Love you, I’m IN Love with you.” “I’ll wait for you” yeaaah.. stuff like that. But i did kinda feel bad for both of them for being second best with LP.. but whatever.. everyone is with who they’re meant to be with..
PS: I seriously think that they’re gonna have a storyline where Brooke has dated Nick Lachey, so thats why they end up getting in to a fight of some sort at the reception.. Laaame.

It was really great to have One Tree Hill back in our lives all over agaain! Its really been TOO long!

NH should have broke up back in Season 5 after Nathan cheated on her with Carrie. I’d rather see Haley get a new love interest and have her own storyline then be stuck with Nathan all the time. They’re so annoying now…well really it’s Nathan that’s annoying. If Joy wasn’t still on this show I wouldn’t even be watching.
If Mark wants to break up NH, go ahead. They’re ruined to me.

LP; Was amazing, and really incredible, they got me teared up and i fell in love with them all over. Aww, and i don’t want peyton to die, i’m with lucas on that one, i love babyleyton and everything, i wish it more than anything that babyleyton will be alive, but if that means we have to loose peyton, there is no doubt, who i will rather want to stick around; Peyton of course, Leyton are my fave couple.
NH; Was awesome, i love them talking future. And to LindCas_fan, isn’t that a little negative to say that, “Naley won’t last”, they will i can garantee you on that one. Naley are meant to be, seriously.. Just because your favourite couple isn’t together, don’t say another one won’t last. and btw, Haley Fan, Mark isn’t going to break them up, they were simply talking about they want to be together and fullfill their dreams, together.. it never said anything about they getting a divorce, and that jamie asked it simply normal; Because when he look at Deb/Dan he see that they broke up, he was curius about his parents, no worries there. C’on guys? A little pathetic saying that, don’t you think.
Brooke/Julian; Okay, i love Brooke and everything, but a little inmature don’t ya think. And that she mentioned i’m not peyton, was that like saying; Peyton is pathetic, and is desperate and would just say, “ohhh, i love you tooooooO”.. That was a little mean consider she is the one that is having problems replying the guy not peyton, she shouldn’t have brought all that up.. But i think Sophia did a great job and i want Brooke to find happiness, but it seems like nothing can make her happy.. She wanted a familiy; SAM.. She wanted a man who loves her; JULIAN, what does she need?? And don’t attack for saying this. But Saying that Peyton will die and brucas will raise Peytons and Lucas’s baby together, that is hilarious.. And won’t happen, it will be a big slap in the face for both fanbases, Leyton fans; Peyton will die, and they won’t be together anymore.. Brucas fans; Them raising Peyton’s baby, hilarious and pathetic.. Brucas fans will always complain about Brucas having their own.. So you can leave that one..
Lucas and Peyton will have their baby, and will get married.. And in season finale they might leave together.
Haley and Nathan of course will be together, maybe haley will start to sing and they will be more together and with jamie, and they can be the perfect family they have always been.
Brooke, will have Sam and the guy she WILL LOVE IN THE FUTURE, SOMEONE WHO WOULD NEVER HURT HER AND SOMEONE SHE IS ABLE TO SAY I LOVE YOU TO.
Julian, he can leave for what i care, he kinda pushed Brooke to much, and the book comment wasn’t even funny!
– CHAD AND HILARIE OWNED THIS EPISODE, THEY WERE THE BEST, NO OFFENCE. And i can’t wait for next episode, The dan complications looks dangerous.. Dammit, i love him!! Lol…

Just watched it and this is the first time EVER that I started to cry during an episode of One Tree Hill…The Leyton scene…just heartbreaking and Naley adorable and funny…so full of love.

Lucas/Peyton were just…AMAZING! Happy LP are great and all, but when LP get in Angst mode, everybody else can forget about it. Chad & Hilarie took this script and ran with it. And making it the ‘BEST LP MOMENT’ YET!! ((In my eyes.)) And I want another person to say “Lucas never fought for Peyton” Because if that’s not fighting, I don’t know what is. Not the mention the baby kicking(fighting) as well LOL! So cute! And have to say, Love the name Sawyer. Can be either girl or boy name. Sawyer Ellie-Anne Scott and Sawyer Keith Scott is what I always liked.
Mouth/Millie… will say, Lisa eyes are GORGEOUS without those glasses.
Nathan/Haley, They were good, But could have been BETTER! Being that it was their Anniversary. I feel like I was missing something from them. I wonder what?
Julian/Brooke. I actually liked them tonight, mostly Julian. I liked the range from him. I know everybody had to laugh when he said “If you have more than one of Lucas’ books, I’m outta here!”. LOL. But I don’t knock Julian for falling in love with Brooke, nor do I think its “too soon” well probably it is for Brooke. But not him. Was it too soon for NH? LP? BL? Don’t think so. But yeah, It’s ashame Brooke won’t allow herself to fall in love again. She really need to let go of that dead weight. It just add on to her “Issues” she’s got. Hopefully these issues will be mentioned and worked out in season 7.
Dan/Deb, Only part I liked was when Deb said she was glad he was dying and Jamie walks in with the beeper. LOL! Just bursting Deb big bubble.

OMG last night was awesome…heartbreaking tearful but great OTH…Lucas and Peyton were blury cause my eyes were so tearful and I agree amy I loved that Peyton fought for the baby because the baby is a part of them and I really hope they do not kill off anyone oh and I loved the nursery surprise Lucas such a sweetheart for that…and I was screeming at the TV to Julian saying “I Love You to” come on Brooke its ok to love and be loved please don’t end Brulian…MM could of done without that scene but whatever…and how cute was jamie when he said I could watch Gossip Girl lol it was so funny…julain had me in tears to the episode was so sad…naley so cute…Can’t wait till next week

What an amazing episode! I could not stop crying and the lump in my throat was there most of the night. By far one of the best performances by both Chad and Hillarie. If there were any doubt how Lucas truly feels about Peyton, tonight’s episode washed those doubts away. The most amazing line when Lucas said “I can’t save you from this”. The writing for this episode was soooo good. I can’t even think about Peyton dying, because I could not get through the rest of the season. I keep wondering if this will be the big cliffhanger for season 6 and they are making us think it could happen to stayed tuned. Boy Mark really knows how to suck us in and torture us at the same time. I was most impressed with Chad, because I have never seen him this emotional, it was even more than when Keith died. Hillarie rocks it all the time and she went above and beyond. Just beautiful scenes from two actors with amazing chemistry and history.
I honestly enjoyed the Julian/Brooke scenes and I don’t think this had anything to do with unresolved feelings for Lucas. I think Brooke is probably feeling things that she has not felt in years and is scared to death. She has trust issues and Mark is going to drag this out a few more episodes at least, lol. They are surprisingly good together and I was not a huge AN fan, but I loved him in tonight’s episode,he did a great job.
Naley was great and I was not that interested in Mouth and Millie. Dan and Deb scenes were really good and Paul is such a good actor.
This episode made me incredibly said and I hope and pray we get more Leyton, what a shame would it be for this show to not return with these two amazing and endeared characters.
I always invisioned a baby boy with the name Sawyer and I could even see them naming it Keith Swayer Scott.
Very emotional episode and we will be thinking about it for a long time.

Alright so I think that peyton dying could actually be a really interesting turn for the show… Now don’t get me wrong i love hilarie – she’s hilarious and a great actress. BUT lucas as a single father is definately a storyline with potential. And I don’t think it would be entirely a bad thing if brooke helped him with the baby. Even if just as a friend. If they did get back together that might actually appease both fan bases…Think about it. It’s exactly like the keith/karen/andy situation.
Karen loved both of them but she loved keith more and had more history with him. When he died she chose andy.
Same with lucas. I think he will always love both girls but he chose peyton in life (cheer from the leyton fans), and if peyton died then that would probably actually be the only way brooke and lucas COULD end up together as brooke was always paranoid about peyton and lucas hooking up and could finally be happy. And she would also have a small piece of her best friend.
Thus giving them heaps of storyline for season 7 and ending the triangle once and for all and appeasing the angry mob of brucas/leyton fans.
Just my thoughts. I wouldn’t worry though…Mark is definately leytons number one fan as someone said earlier. I don’t think he’d knock them off. He might knock off the baby though..but they’ll likely stay together.

amazing episode. Leyton was amazing , I cried throughout the scene , I still believe season 7 won’t be a failure , Mark is amazing and won’t let us down. Naley was great , nice to see them together again. Deb & Dan scene was very intence! This entire episode was great and well worth the wait!

Amazing episode. Can anyone tell Mark we don’t care for Mouth scenes. Especially long ones. Loved the Leyton scenes but cried the whole time. I just want to know exactly what is wrong with her or the baby. It is driving me nuts. Will we ever really know?
Brooke needs to let go and love again. Julian is just the guy for that. Naley, I feel like something dramatic is going to happen their. Lastly Deb and Dan. Dan is an ass.

That was a great epi!!! Chad and Hilaire were the best by far. And the writers were deffinetly trying to hint at Peyton dying and Brucas raising the baby, but I don’t think that will happen! Or at least I hope not. That would destroy soooo many of us!

LEYTON –> Great acting. Go Peyton for sticking up for her baby. Lucas was being selfish. Peyton is such a strong woman! She’s not even afraid of dying if it means her baby can live. That is true love on all accounts.
NALEY –> I would LOVE if Haley went back on tour!!! That would be amazing and would add more drama to their relationship its been 4 seasons since she was on the road. I thought Nathan and Haley were great together. And okay……Nathan is looking a little old to me. They need to make him a little younnger looking =/
BRULIAN –> Brooke is smart not to say I love you, they just started the relationship! But if theyre going to have sex all the time she probably should have said it before the sex. LOL. I definitely see where this is going. Brooke will get back with Lucas if Peyton dies and take care of the baby. I actually wouldnt mind that…I sorta miss Lucas and Brooke even tho i am a total TOTALL Leyton shipper. Sorry guys..

I don’t think that Lucas was being selfish at all. He can’t be in a world that does not include Peyton. I have two children and I am pregnant with my 3rd, and I can tell you that if my life were at risk I would not choose the same route as Peyton. Lucas was just fighting for her. And some of his best acting yet!!!! I love them!!!!!!!!

Okay, first off i want to start by saying i am becoming more and more of a fan of leyton. they are so in love, its amazing and i dont believe anything could ruin that.
that being said, I have to agree with Aimee, Jenna and brucas/brulian. I understand where Brooke is coming from. She is no longer in love with Lucas, she hasn’t been for a long time, but she was hurt. I dont know why people have to deny that. Its a fact, go back and watch older episodes. He cheated on her with her best friend. that hurts no matter what the circumstances are. In almost every one of Brooke’s relationships she has ended up feeling like she wasnt worth much, or that she is second best. Shes probably thinking that if she allows herself to love Julian (who also has a past with Peyton) he might do the same thing as lucas.
And Kaltina, I promise, i am not bashing you…just respectfully disagreeing. you should definitly go back and watch the episode again. Brooke was not talking badly of Peyton. She also said I love Peyton. She is just adressing the situation as honestly as possible. I am pretty sure she wouldnt say anything bad about Peyton, she has proven her loyalty to their friendship over and over. Shes just saying that just because peyton did certain things, doesnt mean Brooke will do the same things, because they are two totally different people. and Brooke is the most mature person on the show in my opinion.

I don’t usually post a comment but I felt that I had to based on some of the comments posted about last nights episode. First off I loved the whole Lucas Peyton scene ( I am a Brucas fan) and this just reminded me why I was a Leyton Fan season 1. I don’t seem to agree with the people that are upset that after 5 years Brooke still can’t bring herself to say ‘I love you’ to the newest guy in her life. Actually I think it is so believable, it rings true, even if the breakup was mutual she still loved him, she just didn’t think that what they had was what was best for them…Anyway, I guess I can relate…It took me a 5 years to get over my first real Boyfriend and when my fiance said “I love you” a whole year before I could say it back…I am happy that she stood by her conviction that she wasn’t ready to say it back … when she will say it she will be sure and not just saying it as reflex. Once Julian gets over the Lucas thing, which will not be easy …I mean the two women that he has love have both had Lucas Scott as the love of their life, that has to be hard on his ego …Cut him some slack ladies … and put yourself in Brooke’s shoes, she seems to always end up with the guys that at some point in time only had eyes for her best friend …I wouldn’t want to rush into ‘I love you’ either just in case history repeats itselfs…

i think both chad and hilarie (espescially chad) answered their critics very well with this episode… i mean it wasnt oscar winning performances but it was above average and really made me emotional!…anyhow..if lucas gets this upset now i wonder how upset he’s gna be with the car crash that peytons involved in!

Good ep, no way will brucas raise the baby, chad barely wants to stick around as it is; to be working in lots of scenes with his ex wife playing happy families.. i just very much doubt it- The acting was breathtaking, i really want them both to be ok-
It is possible that if they are both leaving the show, Peyton dies and Lucas runs away and brooke brings up the baby. there are just no plausable reasons for them leaving if the baby was to be born, they both have a house, a neighborhood that they love where all their friends live, good jobs- it just doesnt make sense to me ..

Kaltrina… Lucas and Lindsey not being together isn’t the reason why i said i think Naley is going to split. that’s ridiculous. i’m not a bitter 5 year old lol. i loved Lindcas but my life doesn’t revolve around them. obviously there were some things in last nights episode that could be signs of them splitting, because i wasn’t the only one who took it that way. you can love them all you want to, but it kind of seems like common sense that things have been too picture perfect for them. especially if they need another season of storylines for them, things are going to get rough. to me that’s kind of obvious. just because we interpreted their scenes differently than you doesn’t mean we’re pathetic for stating how we saw them.

ok so i am such a huge fan of lucas and peyton and i think they deserve to be together because they have come through so much and as i already said i support their decision to put the baby first cause i am a mother and i could never have put myself over my child and lived with the decision and i also think it was smart of Brooke not to say I love you quite yet their relationship is so new and fresh and it is so easy to say i love you when you are going through the good times but i dont believe you truly know you love someone until you go through something in the relationship that is when your relationship is truly tested as for Nathan and Haley i love them they are so natural together and so playful and i love how they just want each other to be happy and as for millie and mouth i am actually a fan of theirs they are so cute together and i hope they find their way back to one another And Deb and Dan i love to hate them together and i actually like how he called her out on her part in the Keith shooting not saying what Dan was right but Deb is no saint at all in this

I have to say that IF, and this is a BIG IF, Peyton dies, it is to facilitate Chad leaving the show too.
Even if this was to GOD FORBID HAPPEN, I don’t see how Lucas just automatically moves on with Brooke. I don’t think this has anything in the slightest to do with Brucas and given Lucas’ reaction to even the thought of losing Peyton, what would he actually be like if he did lose her?
I don’t know why any Brucas fan would even want that, a wrecked Lucas who will be forever changed and a kid that is a constant reminder of their amazing love story.
I have a theory (and I could be so wrong), that a lot of this has to do with them building up to this big drama and we don’t really know what will happen and now with season 7 a go, this makes for a great cliffhanger. Will she or won’t she. We know (based on what Hillarie said), that she would play Peyton forever, she would agree to stay on if Mark writes it that way. I suspect if the fans scream loud enough and they can’t get all on board for next season, things could be changed in an instant.
In spite of what some may think, this season has been a huge success because of Leyton. The Leyton centric episodes have been some of the highest rated this season and they are widely popular. The CW and CBS/Paramount knows that this show has succeeded on the strength of not ONLY the core 5, but the #1 Male and Female lead on this show, Peyton and Lucas. How can there even be a OTH without them? Last night just re-enforced Lucas and Peyton’s significance on this show without a doubt. I am sure Mark can write anything, but we have to be honest and say the show would not be the same with ANY of the core 5 missing. I am sure Brooke and Naley fans would be just as distraught and miserable if they thought there was a season 7 without these characters.
Time will tell and I hope and pray that whatever happens, it is done in a way that we can accept.

i know Leyton fans disagree with this… but after seeing how upset Lucas got at the thought of losing Peyton, it made me kind of hope that she does die in a way. not becuase i hate Peyton or anything, but seeing his face when he talked about it made me curious as to how it would actually change him, and what his character would be like after it happened. if Mark is thinking about the potential for season 7 at all, that would open up TONS of new storylines for Lucas. keeping both Lucas and Peyton around would kinda just be a repeat of Naley i think. but god keeping Lucas with a baby and NO Peyton… that would be some interesting stuff right there. i’m sure Mark doesn’t want to do that, but i think it would be smart as far as the creative side of it goes. at this point they need to start opening up possible stories for next season, and killing off Peyton would leave Lucas’ storylines covered for the entire season probably. just my thoughts lol

I would only add that Naley has not been boring since they got married, in fact they have re-invented them time and time again. I think they may not have been the focus as much this season, but I think that is because there were some other stories to tell. To me it would feel the same if Haley were to die, I don’t see what they would really do with Nathan. JMO.

I think that Killing off Peyton would be the wrong thing to do in my opinion. I believe that the Lucas Peyton fans have been so loyal and derserve better. We have been through the I am hoping that they get their happy endind. Plus to all the people who think that Lucas and brooke will get together if peyton was to die that would be a slap in both the brucas and leyton fans. Who wants to be second choice and someones leftovers brooke deserves better than that.

see i think the opposite. i think Naley has been EXTREMELY boring since they got married. go and look at the new review that was posted on here if you haven’t already, even that guy sees them as being boring. they might be cute and everything, but they’re always extremely boring to watch. their storylines always put me to sleep and are too predictable. they never go anywhere.
i think if they kept Chad and Hilarie, they would fall into those same footsteps. there’s only so many stories you can tell with a married couple, especially stories that we haven’t already seen with Naley. i don’t see how it’s possible to keep Leyton around as married with a baby, and not have it just be Naley all over again.
PLUS we would still have Naley in the picture too. it would just be too much of the same thing. having TWO married couples with kids (at 22 years old i might add), is just too unrealistic and too much of the same thing in one show. i really hope that doesn’t happen. them killing Peyton and keeping Lucas as a single dad has way more potential!

well we know they’re getting married… AND having a baby. so even if Peyton dies they still get their happy ending in a way. i mean if you think about it… it could almost be seen as a way to please BOTH the Leyton and Brucas fanbases. Leyton fans could be happy knowing that Lucas ended up picking Peyton, and marrying her, even if she ends up dying. then Brucas fans could be a little relieved that they don’t have to sit through all of season 7 having to watch Lucas be with Peyton the whole time. her dying could be seen as a compromise between the 2 fanbases…
i’m just saying it’s one thing to love Leyton and for you not to WANT her to die… but you can’t deny that it would kind of be smart if you’re thinking about the next season’s potential

Last nights episode was great. I loved, loved the Lucas/Peyton scenes. The love they both showed for each other was absolutely beautiful. I’m really loving how Mark is writing their characters this season. And C/H’s acting is phenomenal in how they are portraying it on screen. There was never a doubt in my mind that they love each other very much but this just sealed it. Naley – great. It’s been way too long. It was really good seeing them playing around with each other and being so thoughtful of the other person. I was really getting tired of it always being about Nathan’s career. It’s great to see Nathan admit Haley needs something of her own. Brooke and Julian, I’m not real sure where they’re headed. I feel for the both of them. Brooke because even though I don’t think her insecurities are about Lucas, I think they are about never really being loved at all by the ones she wanted it from the most so yes she has trust issues. I do think though the writing could have been better only because it was only a few episodes back that she was telling Julian she didn’t want a fling but then last night she says what’s wrong with just having fun. Julian I think has the same issues Brooke has only to the opposite extreme. He too just wants to be loved but I think him trying to force Brooke into admitting something she’s not really sure about is wrong. He needs to give her time to feel about him the way he feels about her. Dan and Deb great as usual. I love those two together. They really play well off one another. I am not a Dan fan but it was good that he also let Deb see the blame can’t be placed solely on him. Actions cause reactions and that’s what took place although that reaction was much more than any sane person would have done but in any event them admitting their wrongdoings still doesn’t change the fact that Keith is gone.
Now on this other subject, I just don’t see Mark repeating Karen’s life with her son. If they don’t bring Lucas and Peyton back next season, I can see them sending them to LA or something like that maybe making Lucas a full time screenwriter. We saw that Paul, Julian’s dad, really respects Lucas a lot and he adores Peyton so I could really see them moving to LA. I could see Peyton merging Red Bedroom Records with Syre Records. That way Peyton is doing what she loves and Lucas is still writing, doing what he loves. Although I do agree with Lindcas Fan that Lucas being a single father would bring a whole new storyline but I just don’t see Lucas hanging around if Peyton dies. The absolute love he showed for her in last nights episode tells me it would be extremely hard for him to recover from that so for me based on how he was when Keith died, and this being so much more powerful (not saying Keith’s death wasn’t heart wrenching for him), I just think this would be a journey he would take alone so I definitely could see him leaving Tree Hill. As to Naley, I do think their relationship will survive however I do think it will be like a hurricane hit. Having Haley touring again and Nathan playing basketball will be extremely taxing on their relationship and I do think they will come very close to calling it quits. It’s almost impossible for a relationship to survive when only one person is gone most of the time, try two people not seeing each other often at all. As Haley said in an episode in the early days of OTH, out of sight, out of mind and I don’t care how much you love each other, when you lead separate lives, sometimes it’s not easy to find your way back. So yes I believe they are in for some real drama.

I think you guys who are speculating about Lucas being a single father or raising his and Peyton’s baby with Brooke are forgetting that Chad and most likely Hilarie wont be back next season.
Whether Brooke is still hung up on Lucas or not will not matter.
That being said, I don’t know what Brooke’s problem is at all. It’s not like she hasn’t opened herself up to loving someone again before. She opened up for Chase and she mentioned family to Owen. The break ups weren’t over the top and she is only 22 years old. She seriously needs to get over herself and over whatever her deal with Peyton is. She’s trying to be this great forgiving person, but I’ve noticed her taking some cheap shots at Peyton to her face and behind her back. What’s up with that?

This episode was a great comeback from a long overdue break. I loved the format in which it was presented as well. We need to see more like that every now and then! I thought LEYTON was phenominal! This shows true of the talents that are Chad and Hilarie. It was certainly a tear jerker to see how Lucas defended his love for Peyton. I’m pulling for a happy ending! We shall see…MOULLICENT (my name for them)actually didn’t bore me. I was glad that Mouth took the blame for the relationship. I’m sure it is not the end for those two…I was so glad to see NALEY get some good airtime, and loved how Nathan wants Haley to follow her dreams too. They are adorable when they have alone time. OMG, and James Lafferty is just ridiculous to look at. I definitely want to see him shooting some hoops shirtless!!!…Am I the only one who feels like Julian is super needy??? I mean yes, admitting your feelings to Brooke is fine, but to try and force it out of her is quite immature. She’s been through a lot and it is a new relationship. He professed his love for Peyton pretty early on too, and she responded the same, but it was a rebound keeping her mind off of Lucas, duh. I like BRULIAN, I’m just saying Brooke is worth the wait and she should not have to forced to admit her feelings if they’re not there yet. It’s the honeymoon, dude! Give it some time!! Dan and Deb were great. It was good to see them at each other’s throat again. My favorite line of the night was Jaime’s comment about GG. “It’s so bad for me.” He’s such a cutie!

There is no Lucas Scott without a Peyton Sawyer. Lucas is at his all time low when he doesn’t have Peyton. Even his story line with Lindsey was so boring, he was just bleh. Peyton must live through this pregnancy, i don’t like the idea of one or the other, but Lucas fighting for her was great.
Brooke and Julian…hmm…they’re kinda finicky. i dont understand how Brooke can “say” that she doesn’t love Lucas, but not be able to move on. i think she did a great job with choosing her words carefully though. she said she liked Julian and that she cared about him. julian wasn’t pushy at all, everything he said was fair game. he loves her. i think we can all agree that when you fall, you fall hard and he admitted that he fell in love with Brooke Davis.
Naley…Naley will forever be Naley. Hales may or may not be pregnant. I don’t know, but something definetly needs to happen with them. They’re too happy. things are too perfect for them. i’m torn. they are the most stability that this show has. they were destined to be and when things seem bleek, in real life and tv, Naley brings some hope back into the picture.
Mouth and Millie are…fluff. they just take up space.
But big kudos to the return of OTH. After a six week “hiatus” i’m glad their back.
although, i think Brooke and Sam should just be left alone. Brooke Davis cannot be determined and is self-sufficient. she doesn’t need a man, obviously some love, but it better be one hell of a man to give it to her. Whether Julian is that man or not is still to be determined.
i thought Dan was gonna hurt Ded or that Jamie would run in and see them arguing…i kinda want dan to live. he’s a great villain.

Ok i might be crazy here, but in my twisted mind…what if peyton dies giving birth, lucas suffers a heart attack and doesnt’t survive, and naley have to raise their baby for them in their BIG house with lots of rooms! i’m looking too much into it but it’s a possibility with all the clues from last episode…naley talking about their dreams, peyton saying that they already have the best happy ending…leyton die happily together, naley adopt baby leyton, and so on…i know its a far catch, but it would work…just my OPINION. oth does have some pretty far fetched storylines…it would make an interesting season 7

I’ve never posted on here before but I read it at least 5 times a day (even at school) so I just wanted to post my thoughts. Last night’s episode was amazing, breathtaking if you may. I am the least emotional person I know (I never ever cry at movies or TV shows) but last night during the Leyton scenes I had tears coming out of my eyes. (Usually it’s more like if I see Chad crying, I start tearing up.) Anyway I’m giving big props to Chad & Hilarie for delivering fantastic performances as their respective characters. Lucas/Peyton angst is probably my favorite to watch (I’m a HUGE Leyton fan). The plate smashing moment was my favorite moment of the show. At first was so shocked that Peyton wanted to keep the baby, I was on Team Lucas for while while watching the show. Watching seasons back, I just couldn’t imagine Lucas & Peyton with out each other. Peyton was just so gung ho about keeping the baby. As much as I want my favorite couple to have the baby, I want my favorite character to live more. If any of you have read the Twilight Series, it reminded me of Bella when she was pregnant with Renesmee & was going to have that baby even if it killed her. Edward was in Lucas’s position: the love of my life is going to die, do I side with her or not? But then after rewatching the show again I realized that if I was in Peyton’s postition I probably would have decided upon the same thing (I’m only 17, I’ve got a long time
). I think it’s more of a motherly instinct & I know my mom probably would have done the same thing. Anyway I wish Mark would have told us exactly what is wrong with Peyton & the baby but I’m going to paciently wait & see what the show brings us.

this was a horrible episode in the best way. i feel like they might kill peyton off, especially since chad and hilarie are leaving. that would be horrible. i dont know what else to say about that line. i just want her to have the baby and the leyton family can happily leave tree hill if they want to. im excited/nervous to see how that storyline turns out.

brooke and julian…what the hell? i understand julian not wanting another relationship stinking of lucas, but brooke saying the last time she was in love was with lucas? did she forget about chase? they were in love. you can argue whether it was the same as the way she felt about lucas, but they were clearly in love. nowhere have i heard brooke deny that she ever loved chase, so i thought her forgetting about that part of her history was just a dumb way for the writers to bring up lucas again. i really dont think, even if they kill off peyton, that they would have brooke and lucas get back together, so what was the point of that??

You are very right, Brooke did say “I love you” to Chase. i forgot about that. i love brooke but truthfully i dont understand what her problem is. if she doesn’t love him then fine…i just dont get why she was so emotional about the whole thing if she doesnt love him. and chase never hurt her. ok maybe because of owen she is afraid…but lucas is old news and they are friends who care about each other. brooke helped peyton fight for him. they shouldnt have made lucas the reason..that was five or six years ago…

exactly…i feel like one moment they make it clear that brooke is totally over lucas and then randomly, the next episode, they have some reference to the relationship. and i cant understand why. its pointless. maybe they are trying to give hope to brucas fans? but theyre starting to rewrite history here by skipping over her relationship with chase, and making it seem like she is still a little heartbroken over lucas and peyton being together. if anything i could see owen being a possible reason. its just annoying and its like…you know…the fans arent stupid we know the history of the show.

first of all i loved last nights epsiode… it was very amazing, powerful and moving… LP just amazing truly great acting i applaud Chad and Hilarie! i was balling my eyes out… seriously it was crazy lol When Peyton went over to the changing table and saw the oneies that said “I luv my mommy” i lost it… also when Lucas started to cry forget it!! ahhhh… so amazing there r no words… He was so protective, so loving and I agree with him… he doesn’t want to loose her so he’d do anything for her… love him! Also loved the Naley scenes and their anniversary… Dan and Deb are great always loved them haha… MM i have to admit made me tear. Julian was a little too early with the I love you… what’s the rush… give it time! He needs to calm down about Brooke and Lucas, way over and Lucas was not the only guy she loved… she did love Chase. Overall great eps can’t wait for next week!!

i was just watching clips on youtube and came across 6×11, the 40s episode…the clip where peyton dies in lucas’ arms and now it comes across as major foreshadowing. now im really afraid peyton will die.

I do not think Peyton will die for multiple reasons, but like Peyton said…we are going to be fine…all 3 of us. She kept stressing that, I honestly think everyone is going to live! I never saw it in the cards for OTH to kill off any of the core 5…doesn’t seem right and they will be fine….TLA =)

I hate how they act like their relationship didnt even happen. She was SO in love with Chase! laaame, we dont even know why they ended things. ugh. but maybe we’ll find out when Peyton talks to Mia about their relationship.

I extremely enjoyed this episode! The return of Dan/Deb/Keith drama has been a long time coming. I mean Deb played a huge role in the murder and it was like the writers forgot about that for three seasons, and nearly 7 years. I hope that the writers can continue this storyline and not continue to keep it hanging.
And I’m going to go with the majority here and say that M/M was unnecessary. ‘Nuff said.
The Naley SL was cute, and I think it was good to see them talk about where they were going and I like the idea of them living on the road. For the last two years we have watched them act like an old married couple. Maybe this is what they need to get some excitement back in their lives.
I was shocked by how deep the Brulian scenes went. When I say deep I mean deep into the shows history, like Brucas and Brooke’s love life in general. I think they touched on everything we fans have been asking for. I was so convinced that Brooke was yet again not opening up to her feelings because of her guarded personality, but that in the end she would realize that it is different this time. Julian really does love and care about her and she could actually be happy. I thought she would tell him she loved him in the end in her own way. I still have hope that by the end of the season we will see her finally open her again. I mean she said it hersef she doesn’t love Lucas, so why is she still holding back?
Lastly, there was Leyton. I don’t think I want to even talk about how I felt about their SL… I don’t know what is going on behind the scenes, but the question of if they really are not coming back for season 7 hasn’t set in yet. Therefore this whole baby/Peyton death scenario hasn’t really set in. I will put those opinions on hold til we see where the characters are going.

so i know im SUPER late on this. i havent been on the computer in a few days. but i have to make one point.
how i see the brooke/julian scenes. did mark just TOTALLY forget that Brooke was in love with Chase at the end of S5? Lucas wasnt the last serious relationship she had. and we still have yet to find out why that ended. which i doubt we ever will. and that bothers me. ((along with not knowing what happened with skills/bevin)). but besides that. i think everyone just FORGOT about brooke/chase.

Leyton was great preformance monday night…one of the best leytons scenes ever. Im a huge brucas fan but i respect leyton.
people say brooke loved chase too but do you remember what brooke said to lucas at the USO concert…people trick themseleves that they are in love so there heart doesn’t get broken….chase happened right after lucas.
people expect brooke not to love lucas anymore…have you scene old one tree hill circa season 3….she was madly in love with him and she broke up with him to make peyton happy. i don’t blame brooke still being in love with lucas, he was there through the whole angie thing and plus even though she said she didn’t love him doesn’t mean that its true.
if brucas r together with the leyton baby…that would not be fair all because brucas wants brucas babys TWO BOYS AND A GIRL. and brucas fan speak out more because it seems like no one is sticking up for brucas!
