Maggie in Birmingham, Ala.: Can you shed any light on this hectic One Tree Hill situation?
Despite Chad Michael Murray’s claim that, “They haven’t even called me up to say, ‘Hey we want you back…nothing,’ ” CMM’s people are in negotiations with the One Tree Hill studio. Sounds like we can all brace ourselves for a cliffhanger ending to season six.

My goodness! I still think there is a possibilities that both Chad and Hilarie can come back…I dont think we will truly know till the 1st eppy of season 7!

I have my theories that much of this is a ploy to get really get more buzz for this show. I totally believe they are still in negotiations. Season 7 want start taping until the summer, so they have plenty of time to write and they can do so much with the season finale in terms of cliffhangers.
I still hold out hope.

I called this like a month ago with Hil’s video.. they are just trying to trick us, but will both come back… especially since we have not heard anything FINAL from the network. They will be back and we will be on edge between the summer… like in season 1-2 when lucas and keith ‘left’ but came back in like a week…. there is only one tree hill for a reason because they COME BACK TO IT!

I think both Chads and Hilary’s videos show off their acting skills very well. I guess it is what they make a living doing lol.
I believe that the actors are probably trying to get raises and the network doesn’t know where to get the money from, but they want to be able to give them what they’re asking for. So its all a bunch of negotiating and price haggling.
just my thoughts though

I think they are coming back…I think that they are doing all of this BS cuz they want more viewers and I really do beleive they are under negotitations. NOONE has confirmed any of this crap so im hoping they do some back
In the youtube video with Chad and Hilarie..neither of them confirmed it. Chad made it so confusing that noone really got wat he tired to mean. Either he is staying..or hes going..he himself doesnt eve noe.
So my theory is that Lucas and Peyton “leave tree hill” to go on a honeymoon or something at the end of the season but come back in the beg of season 7.
