Antwon Tanner Arrested

Wow…
“One Tree Hill” star Antwon Tanner was arrested today in connection with a Social Security card scheme, authorities said.
Tanner, who turned 34 on Tuesday, surrendered to federal prosecutors this morning and will be arraigned this afternoon in Brooklyn Federal Court.
Feds have accused Tanner of “knowingly and intentionally” transferring Social Security cards last year “with intent to defraud.”
Tanner is famous for playing high school basketball star Antwon “Skills” Taylor on the hit CW show “One Tree Hill.”
He has also appeared in several movies, including the 2005 flick “Coach Carter” starring Samuel L. Jackson.

Antwon is my friend and I know he may be going threw a lot right now my heart goes out to his girlfriend and the kids,but ppl shouldn’t judge him until they find out wat really happen

Antwon, my wife and I personally support you during this difficult time. We had the opportunity to meet you in Wilmington last Fall and you were most gracious and kind to us and our 17 year old daughter. Please trust us with two pieces of advice: (1) Never let the criminal justice system pressure you into taking a deal if you are not guilty. Make them “prove” it under the “knowingly and willfully” criteria and (2) make damn sure your attorney knows these criteria inside and out and advocates for a true “jury of your peers”. In the mean time, keep your head held high and keep doing what you do best…Again, you are in our prayers! Eric and Joanna O.
