Meet Haley’s sister! – E-Online Exclusive

One Tree Hill’s post Peyton-Lucas makeover continues: Sources confirm to me exclusively that relative newcomer Shantel VanSanten has been tapped to play the series regular role of Quinn, one of Haley’s free-spirited older sisters. The character comes to Tree Hill with a wounded heart and in search of someone new to shag something new.
VanSanten, who will be seen in the upcoming Final Destination reboot, joins fellow Tree Hill virgin Robert Buckley as the newest additions to the show’s cast. The Lipstick Jungle hottie is playing Nathan’s sports agent.

So as excited as I am that we finally have someone who is going to be playing Quinn, I’m kinda stupefied as to why they would have this actress. She is younger than Joy and is supposed to be playing the older sister. IMO she does not look very old, she has clean lines and now I’m wondering how they will pass this girl off as the older sister. Hmm. She must’ve had one hell of an audition though. And yes, I’m a bit disgruntled over the fact this chick is James’ age and has the same freaking birthday as him. Just another one to get in the way of my husband and me…. sigh.

I want leyton too.. but I think we need to accept the fact that they will not be back already… so let’s support season 7.. if you don’t want to do that.. just don’t say bad things about it..

I for once am actually excited about the next season! And I am more than happy if OTH won’t be the same anymore after a crapfest of the last season.
Less screentime for minorcast. Who cares about Mia and Chase? Do they even have fans? We have to watch them while poor Haley is being propped 24/7! Mouth can leave to Ohio now! If Jamie gets any smarter I guess it’s time Nasa officially confiscates him! WTH was with the crying Brooke last season, that’s not Brooke! I want my bubbly selfishly loyal Brooke back. Screw that settling storyline, we saw enough of that in season 6, lets have some fun again! NO MORE psychos! Or any kinds of animals that eat hearts! Just give us the good old drama back, the show I used to be so excited about! I’m all for the new characters but Mark better make them prop for the core 3 and not the way around.
^I wouldn’t say this if I didn’t care, but I still do and I want my favorite show back. I don’t think we can do worse than season 6 anymore.

In some pics Shantel looks older than her age says. I’m sure if she’s really going to play the older sister, they will dress her up and stuff. Or Mark & Co. could just forget about the age thing. You know how OTH is when it comes to stuff like that.
Anyway, I think she’s really pretty. Got to see some of her stuff on youtube, has a cute voice – sounds really adorable. Bring on s7, because I’m super excited.
