She is gorgeous, but I liked her hair better in S5 – when it was short. The extensions are nice on her though

Laurenlovescollege, Joy isn’t wearing any extensions this is her natural hair.

I am a 30 year old woman with two small children and an 18 year old foster son. I am addicted to ONE TREE HILL. I can no longer parent my children the way that they have been accustomed to because I have been watching seasons 4 and 5 for the last week. The laundry is piling up, the dishes need to be done and I have my husband hooked as well. I work at a 28 day drug and alcohol treatment facility in the State of Maine. I am at work now writing this letter and looking at the home page. It is affecting my extra curricular activities as well. This weekend I took my children camping and I had to bring my Lap Top so that I could watch it at night and on the drive to the lake. I found my husband in the tent in the middle of the afternoon when the rest of us where swimming he was watching season 5. You think I would be upset that he had chosen to sneak off and not spend quality time with the family but I was not. I was upset that he was watching it without ME. How dare he get a “fix” without thinking about his partner! The diagnostic criteria for substance dependence is:
1) tolerance,
a. a need for markedly increased amounts of the substance to achieve desired effect
I started watching the show only an hour here and an hour there, yesterday I watched for 12 hours straight!
2) Withdrawal,
b. the same substance is taken to relieve or avoid withdrawal symptoms
I feel so uncomfortable in my own skin not knowing what will happen to the characters. I have anxiety knowing that I have not purchased season 6 and wondering where I will be able to find a store that will have a good supply.
3) The substance is often taken in larger amounts or over a longer period than was intended. I watched it for 12 hours
4) There is a persistent desire or unsuccessful efforts to cut down or control substance use.
I tried to go cold turkey today but I was cleaning the house a little, trying to bring back some organization when I found where my 18 year old son had hid season 4 from me. I could not resist. I put it in and the next thing I know I am late for work.
5) A great deal of time is spent in activities necessary to obtain the substance, use the substance or recover from its effects.
I am so sleep deprived. If I find out tomorrow that Wal-mart in Fredericton NB has season 6 on their shelf I will drive the 2 hours to get it.
6) Important social, occupational, or recreational activities are given up to reduce because of substance use
I TOOK IT CAMPING! MY HOUSE IS A MESS! I AM LOOKING IT UP AT WORK!
7) The substance use is continued despite knowledge or having a persistent or recurrent physical or psychological problem that is likely to have been caused or exacerbated by the substance.
I know that I have a problem but I will watch season 6 and 7. I will not let anything get in my way. LOL

Rebecca, that is hilarious. When I first was getting caught up with OTH, I was up until 4am one morning and that was with 2 small children!!

Rebecca your post made me ball laughing, thanks for that. Welcome to the club, OTH has become my guilty pleasure and I am almost embarrassed to admit it to my family and friends. My favorites are Naley and Haley. I love Joy and everything she does. She is a pure talent in every sense. I am so excited that she is finally branching out in her music. It is long over due, but I am so glad she never succumbed to the “cookie cutter pop princess.” She has a unique style and she should continue to stay true to who and what she is. That is what I have always loved about her.
