I don’t blame the girl. That’s all I’m sayin’.
Sophia Bush and her One Tree Hill costar Austin Nichols may have rekindled their romance.
The twosome was spotted catching a connecting flight in Atlanta, Georgia on Sunday (July 26) and took pictures with fans who spotted them together.
Sophia, 27, and Austin, 29, met through mutual friend Jake Gyllenhaal in mid-2005 and reportedly started dating in early 2006. Since 2008, Austin has appeared in a recurring role as Julian Baker on OTH.

I don’t see how two people being in an airport together proves they are dating. Arent they friends? Plus if they were coming back from LA for filming on Monday, then it’s quite possible they just happened to end up on the same flight back. I have a hard time believing Austin would go for her again.

I think Mark forgot to tell certain members in the cast or actually just Sophia what the word professional means. Generally “professionals” don’t bounce from one co-worker to the next. But then again, I’ve never found Sophia to have much intelligence if, at all.

Not sure if it’s true or not… I’m still not convinced that they are dating JUST because they were on the same flight. It’s not like we heard reports of them acting affectionate towards eachother in the airport, like we did with her and James. If it is true… I’m happy for them I guess, I just kind of wish all of the romantic relationships between the cast members would stop. I think it’s just in the best interest of the show. And in no way am I going to sit here and call her a slut like some people are… But this IS the 3rd cast member she’s been linked to… and it can get kind of annoying to hear about her moving from one coworker to the next. I just think that in best interest for the show, everything would be better if the relationships between the cast members were strictly professional/friendly

I don’t think she’s a ’slut’ or a ’skank’ but i do think it’s a terrible idea to date another one of your costars after the first you dated ended pretty badly. I can’t imagine the amount of tension that was going on behind the scenes when she was dating james. It would make everything incredibly awkward. I mean i’m not saying she shouldn’t date her costars EVER, but it would be wise to atleast wait until the shows over.

I love Sophia bush! it’s ridiculous that just because she’s pictured with a costar on the same flight they’re automatically ” together.” it’s really annoying with the media and everything. and honestly, I wouldn’t mind austin and Sophia going out, but if they broke up what would happen with brulian? we all know what happened with brucas, and it’s not like Peyton can come in and be with Julian! if the relationship went wrong, it could ruin a greater, yet fictional relationship on the show.

I don’t understand the Sophia hate when it comes to her personal life. She is single and can date whomever she wants, from where ever she wants. Jeez, the haters are so pathetically pathetic.
So who cares WHO Sophia dates, she’s young, single, gorgeous, hasn’t been arrested for DWI or drugs, judging by interviews, most people who’ve worked with her really like her, it’s none of our business. And you can’t get into USC just by looks alone, and at least Sophia devotes herself to a LOT of good causes, including animal rights and gay rights.
As for Chad, yes, he’s been with the same girl. And KEnzie seems like a really nice girl, too, I hope it works out for them. But come on, she has no career, she just can devote herself to Chad, be at his beck and call, plus they’re all older now and hopefully wiser.

Who knows if they are really dating again or not, but based on the amount of time they have been spending together for months now, I wouldn’t be surprised. Does anybody really think there is absolutely nothing going on? lol, I doubt it!!! The thing about Sophia that makes her look bad and less professional than most is because co-stars is ALL she ever goes after and at some point, you can see why it’s not very appealing to most, and it’s certainly not what’s best for the show by any means. If there is something there, Mark Schwahn has got to be pulling his hair out about now!!!
And no, the rest of the cast doesn’t have a penchant for hopping around from one co-star to the next, so it’s not a double standard for her, it’s just fact, and why she paints herself as an easy target. Joy was never tangled in that web, Hilarie was with Ian but he’s not an actor that she worked opposite with by any means, and with the exception of James’ momentary lapse with Sophia, he doesn’t put himself in those situations either, so it’s why people grant him a free pass, because it’s only one blunder in 7 years!!! And the rest of the supporting cast doesn’t dip in their working well either, so when people say stuff like it’s common, all co-stars date each other, no they don’t, and in the grand scheme of things it’s definitely not what’s best for a long running show that you’re a part of!!!
So even after all this time, I can certainly understand all the fuss that she creates, and in my opinion, until she finds someone who is not tied directly to her show or a movie she’s working on, then she’s always gonna have an awful rap that will continue to follow her!!! If she would make better decisions about these things, then the men in her life wouldn’t always be the main topic and focus and she might just get noticed for something other than her dating life. But then again, I personally feel like Sophia craves this kind of attention, so it kinda goes hand in hand, and you have to want to change your public image before you can expect the public to change their minds about you!!!

Sophia is just pathetic. She and her big mouth are the reason she has so many haters. First she couldn’t shut up about her personal life and then when people slammed her and James, she rudely tells an interviewer that she doesn’t comment on her personal life. Then a few months later she admits that her and Austin DATED. She’s a moron, no joke. Either shut up about your personal life or keep talking about it. You can’t do one thing for a few months and then suddenly change your tune afterwards.
I can’t believe I used to like her so much. After her horrendoub behaviour on set after her and Chad I thought she would learn her lesson. Sophia lovers who are using the opportunity to take cheap shots at Chad are hilarious. Selfish? He has been out of Sophia’s orbit for years and what was so selfish about him leaving OTH? If he wants to leave he can leave. If he wants a raise he has a right to ask for it.

Ok first of all–I’m 25 and single and loving every minute of it so I praise Sophia for bouncing back after her experience with Chad and doing her own thing!
Second of all–when you spent 15 hours a day with the same people, especially in a profession like acting, there’s bound to be some off-screen hook-ups. And just because the off-screen relationship ends, doesn’t mean the on-screen relationship will be ruined also. Mark Paul Gosselar and Tiffany Thiesen dated once upon a time and Kelly and Zack still got married. Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson dated and broke up all before they ever got together in Season 3 of Dawson’s and they ended up together in the end. And when Brooke and Lucas got together for real in Season 3, Sophia and Chad had already broken up and they still made it work on-screen. Mark always planned to have him end up with Peyton (ick!)…it had nothing to do with their personal lives.
I agree with the majority that there is no basis to this rumor that they’re a couple but, even if it turns out to be true, then I think it’s awesome! I know some of you believe that if she were to get involved with another cast member, she should wait until the end of the show but life is too short to not live in the moment and go for it!
And one final note, if I had the chance to get with James and Austin, no way in hell I would pass up the opportunity!

First of all, every show has hookups. It’s human nature, I don’t see people hating on the guy who plays Dexter, who married his costar who plays his sister (sorry, have a brain lockup, can’t think of their names).
You sound like you think you’re an authority on who people should and shouldn’t hook up with, and it’s absolutely none of your business.
Sophia does public service announcements, she gets involved in what she believes in, she’s single, she can date whoever she wants, I hardly think it’s a “blunder” to date her or to date whoever you want. It happens ALL the time. There seems to be plenty of intrigue on ALL sets, just cause you’re eaten up with jealousy and pretend you know something, jeez, give it a rest. Sophia doesn’t have a bad reputation – she’s even a Jonas Brother’s ideal woman, she is smart, funny, if she dates around, so what, she got burned once. And IMO even if she slept with EVERY cast member, and crew member too, it wouldn’t equal the skankiness of sleeping with Paris Hilton.

I think Sophia uses her broken relationship with Chad as an excuse for her attitude and behavior. Regardless of what went wrong with them she should have more class and self-respect than to keep hooking up with her co-stars. There are plenty of actors who are in relationships with people (other actors) who weren’t their co-stars.

Reese dated her co-stars but they were in different projects and the guys weren’t friends. Reese is also graceful and has morals and tact. Maybe her relationship choices arent the most ideal -but imagine how you would be if you got married – divorce – and then your ex got engaged to a high schooler….all in the same year. And, while all that was happening, you had to play a loving couple on a TV show. Its not odd at all that she’d want to date someone she can trust, and its not odd that the guy she felt she could trust most was a guy she spends most of her time with. Wrong according to who? And where do you work, Quik Trip? If Sophia were getting bad publicity for the show by drinking or drugging or bad behavior in general, I’d kind of see your point. Instead, she’s always in magazines looking gorgeous and OTH is always mentioned, always working for causes she believes in, does constructive things with her time, is spoken well of by everyone but CMM and his groupie wanna-be’s, so WHAT is the big deal?
If you don’t like her, fine. But to come on here all prissy and judgmental and acting like YOU are an authority on professionalism in the acting profession is so silly and really, to me it’s much worse to cheat on your wife, who then divorces you, then make out with your underage girlfriend in front of everyone, call yourself “engaged” for years and there’s quite an age difference and she has no career or job except devoting herself to you, that’s kinda icky, but again, WHO CARES, it’s their private lives. What a skank, why doesn’t she try befriending some of the female cast members for a change instead of constantly hanging around with all the male co-stars. All her “best friends” are guys, hmmm I wonder why? Maybe she should hang with Joy more, she could show her something about class and keeping it professional. All I know is both Joy and Hilarie only have good things to say about Chad and they both seem to value their friendship with him. I don’t think she is all that. I don’t like how her relationships on the show effect the show, I think she likes people to believe she is something that she is not. I hate her interviews and she tries to come across as if she is the only educated actress in Hollywood. One interview in her early days she actually talked about her SAT scores, I mean come on. When she was with Chad she was all about flauting it and loving all the attention, now she acts like she is above all the paparazzi when it is clear she still thrives on it. She talks about not wanting to send the wrong messages to girls about self image and yet she is always glamoring it up at some glitsy affair and attending fashion shows. All these things involve vanity and wanting to look a certain way. She preachies about not worrying about how she looks and stressing over what she eats and exercise, but she works out vigouroulsy with a trainer. I think she is unprofessional because she allows her personal life to come in the way of her work more than once. I could go on and on, but I just don’t see her the way some of you fans see her. I think it is wrong of her to date James and it is no coincedence that Austin ended up on the set. She is a actress who is nothing special. There are daytime soap actresses who could and do a much better job than she can. If Joy wanted to she could run circles around Sophia in every aspect, but she is not a prima donna on the set. She doesn’t get herself into situations where everyone has to cater to her needs. This is my opinion whether you like it or not, so deal. And don’t get so upset she is just an actress, unless of course you are related to her in some way, other than that don’t go getting all defensive over some celebrity who will be here today and gone tomorrow. By the way Joy is busy working on a Broadway show.

Good one. And you are wrong if you think her love life didn’t effect the show, because it most certainly did, The end of Brucas! Limited scenes with Lucas in season 6 because of her relationship with another co-star who was also Chads friend! That caused a lot of awkwardness on the set. And now miraculously another ex boyfriend is working on the set.

For starters, if Chad had NEVER cheated on Sophia in the FIRST place, she would STILL be married to him. Sophia is one of the besttttttttt actresses on the CW. She’s the one who is the most famous and she’s the one who is loved the most by people and the media. So the fact that she also has haters isn’t all that shocking because in Hollywood, love also comes with hate. Even the biggest celebrities in Hollywood are bashed nonstop by everyone so the fact that some morons are jealous over the fact that Sophia is beautiful, talented, and gets the most recognition than the whole OTH cast put together which causes these morons to lose their freaken minds, is understandable.
All of those features that you pointed out about Sophia’s acting…..well its interesting that you don’t see that as good acting because I know a ton of people who disagree including anyone from the media who claim that Sophia is the best thing to have happened to OTH. She’s the very last person who needs to be sent to acting school. She’s got serious acting chops and just because you’re too dumb to see that doesn’t mean others can’t. Actually…..the people who did need acting lessons are no longer on the show. Which is clearly a relief because watching their scenes always made me cringe.
