Tour Set Info

I’m posting this hoping for clarification and insight from others that may have had recent tours. NOT so people can argue about Leyton. I honestly don’t think Chad and Hil are making any kind of return.
From Sarah: I took a tour of the sets on Sunday last week and they had the set for Lucas and Peyton’s house set up with Sawyer’s room included. There was also Peyton’s car outside the set. I thought Chad and Hilary left the show. Any idea what’s up? Before the tour they told us that the sets were being used this Monday so I was just wondering.

Hmm. I don’t know anything. The only thing would be if …
-there’s going to be flashback scenes there without CMM and HB in them, or
-if Leyton sold the house and car, for some reason, to other people in Tree Hill or
-if, we’ve all been duped, and they are appearing in a scene or two…

I think it’s possible other characters could, for some reason, have a scene in that house. Also, I do think there is a good possibility that Hil, especially, will make a guest appearance, so they are probably keeping the sets intact just in case. I mean usually they tear a set down to make room for news ones if they know they’re never going to need it again.

Maybe Brooke or Haley checks on the house every now and then…I would hate to think of them tearing the Karen/Leyton house set down!

hmm this is a new twist. i mean, hilarie and chad are for sure gone, we’ve seen countless interviews and such. but idk if its true, i’ve also heard leyton may possibly come back in the future for a few guest roles, and both chad and hil were up for it? i think it would be great if they ended the show at season seven and made the series finale with dan dead and leyton, karen, andy, and lilly moving back to tree hill because there’s no worry of dan doing harm to anyone. sorry for rambling haha.

Remember when Nathan was kicked out of his house in season 5 and slept at Lucas’? Maybe something like that happens again.

I think it’s still around for in case or that they know of a guest appearance because in the past they have taken down sets they aren’t going to use in the following season.
So I’m guessing they are keeping it around for a appearance or other characters have scenes in the house.

I doubt it’s LP related, I’m thinking that they’ll have some random side character live there, OR, they’ll have someone stay there and be really stupid, claiming LP still live there and just never show them. But what I don’t understand is why they are keeping Sawyer’s room too.

if sawyers room is there other peploe will not be leving there i think its nothing and i dont think that they will say that LPS leave there but we never see them they will def not be in tree hill

I hate season 7 already! AARGH! They should have just canceled the show instead of ruining it! Look what happened to all those other shows that had major character changes…they’re all lame!

i was in wilmy last week and drove by the studio and the only tree hill car that i recognized was the tree hill police car. i also had a friend who was there the week before and she said that they talked with some of the people while filming was going on at tric and they told her that Leyton was with Karen and it was left open ended in case they wanted to come back!

ml you havent seen s7, so how can u judge it? a lot of shows still do good, even when main characters leave.

I figured that Lucas and Peyton would be with Karen, Andy and Lilly “traveling abroad” hence the title of 701.

I, too, am skeptical of season 7 (http://teendramawhore.com/2009/05/21/random-thought-3/) but Sandy makes a great point about shows doing well even with the loss of main characters.
The original 90210 lost a lot of regulars over the years, kept introducing new ones, and still had high ratings earning them a whopping 10 seasons.

maybe it’s like a flashback scene with Peyton or something. I mean Hilarie is still in Wilmington(i think) cause her production company is in Wilmington. So you never know.

The set us up when I went July 4. I think maybe they kept it up for tour purposes. I mean Luke and Peyton are major part for season 1-6. I could be wrong. I would love a twist though.

I also did a set tour a few weeks ago and the LP house was set up exactly as it was for S6, with the baby’s room and everything. I also saw the Comet in the area where the cars are parked. I don’t think it really means anything though, to be honest. They had a ton of new sets as well.

Weve gotten alot of pics of chad and kenzie in LA recently he wouldnt be in NC filimg i dont think.

I was there on July 18 and Lucas’s house was the first set we went into. I noticed there were no pictures around of Lucas, Peyton, or the baby. They were all Karen and Lilly. Also we were only allowed into the living room and kitchen. They wouldn’t let us in the baby’s room or Lucas’s. They stood guard. Also the comet was parked inside right beside the house.

Kori-I took the tour on July 25th and everything was set up exactly the same way. The car was parked right outside the house on the set not in the parking lot. We were also not allowed to go in the baby’s room. I also noticed that there were a lot and I mean A LOT of pictures of Lily. I counted three on the refrigerator alone and at least another 4-6 in the living room just in one area. A four picture collage on the wall and then others scattered around the room. My friend immediately said that she thought maybe Karen was coming back. Because I remember that there was at least one pic of Lily on the fridge before, but there were also pics of Peyton and I think Peyton and Brooke and those aren’t there now. I really don’t think that Peyton and Lucas are coming back, but I do think something fishy is going on that they arent telling us and is somehow being kept very secret because it is being filmed on the lot and not out in public.
On a side note I have to wonder, when they seem to only be losing Hilarie and Chad why they suddenly feel the need to add so many new characters (Quinn, Clayton, Miranda, Alex, and although not new, Rachel) especially if they are planning to bring back Karen because her return would obviously mean the return of Lily and possibly Andy. I also thought that the nursery still being up might mean that Andy and Karen had decided to have a baby and that was why they came home. I don’t know, I think it’s all just speculation until Sept 14 anyway.

I don’t believe for a second that there is some “surprise” or “twist”. I believe, if or when CH ever return, it won’t be a surprise, we’ll hear about it. But I think it’s a good sign they kept the sets because I do hope the make an appearance before this is all over. But Lucas’ house is probably the most significant set in the entire show since it’s been around since day 1, so I can see them wanting to keep it around for tour purposes.

maybe, the reason they keep Sawyer’s room is because of the girl who lives there. Remember in season 5 when Peyton learns that her room now belongs to some Tree Hill high school girl and she sees the writing on the door saying LS+PS TA or something like that lol. Maybe that random girl comes into the picture again somehow. I don’t know about the Lucas and Peytons house though..

Erin- I know that there were always pics of Lily there, but not as many as there are now. It just doesn’t seem like they would take them time to put extra ones in if they didn’t need it.
Also I don’t see them just leaving the sets up on the off chance that CMM and HB decide to swing by. With all of the new characters on the show as well as the Naley house being substantially bigger they have to make the most of the room that they have on the four stages that I was told they use. As a 31 year old woman my common sense intuition tells me that they are just leaving the set up for the tour because that would be wasted space. I would find it odd that they wouldnt let us in the nursery but honestly they didn’t ever let people in Jamie’s room or Lucas’s office either, which I have never understood.
The only people that I can see using Sawyers nursery in the exact form that it was regarding decoration would be a family member or Sawyer herself.
In no way do I think that we have been tricked and that Lucas and Peyton are actually coming back (together), mostly because we have seen a million pics of CMM drinking coffee at the Farmers Market, but that’s not to
say that I don’t believe that something smells fishy.

For me its pretty obvius that they will say that Lucas,Peyton and Sawyer are treveling with Karen so no way that Karen will be back and we will find they are treveling whit Karen wen LP send some birthday present for Jamie on the first episode and hence the title traveling abroad.

nat i think you are right in this speculation.Its obvius that LPS are not in tree hill because of the label and that Peyton is not taking tha label were she is so the only explanation left is that they are treveling abroad with Karen because they want Karen to have some Grandma time and they want to be in Lilly life more.

This is bull, I believe the set’s are still up but that’s it. Like mentioned, it’s probably all for tour purposes, nothing more. We’ve read spoilers, we’ve seen interviews, they’re not coming back. Being a LPer, it clearly sucks, but really try not to get your hopes up. Just how it is. What can you do?

I don’t believe LP are coming back neither BUT I do like the idea of them keeping the house built up ‘just in case’…I’m really glad they didn’t erase the set, maybe it means there is a chance it could be used someday! I hope so.:)

I also went on a studio tour last week and peytons car was still there. I guess they have the wrecked one and a good one. Which I don’t get because peytons car was selling on ebay! And I saw leytons/karens house. It was really cool you saw the bullet hole where lucas tried to shoot dan. And I guess the tour guide said they are going to keep it up for a while. So who knoiws. I think hill is more likely to come back vs cmm. She is still in wilmington! And chad just seemed like he wanted nothing to do with the show at all! So I’m not sure. But I’m excited but also sad to see what will happen without them!

The ONLY reason I watched OTH is to look at Chad Michael Murray! That’s why I don’t care about Season 7. If he comes back I’ll watch again. In the meantime I will watch DVDs from Season 1-6.

traveling abroad!!!omg this is bringin me down man.
ive been hearing since like a little after season 6 filming was done that chad and hil arnt coming back and ive seen all the vids and hilaries goodbye and everything but i never wanted to believe it i guess i just could never imagine one tree hill without Leyton…….they are one tree hill to me and they always have been
i just that they could at least give us some flashbacks or something of them leaving with karen and throughout the season show them bein parents and sawyer growing up and eveything
im really curious to see how theyre gonna write them out
this will be really sad and exciting!!!

i really think that the traveling abroad excuse is the best because this way they dont need to say that Lucas, Peyton and Sawyer moved from tree hill they just say that they are with Karen traveling and they istill considered tree hill their home Karen is happy having some Sawyer time and they dont need to keep coming back to tree hill ind the events that will happen because they will be far way its really the best way.

i think its for “just in case” purposes. You never know, they could come back for guest appearances.
Hil is still in NC, so she is most likely to come back. As for Chad idk.

I imagine that they have extra footage shot during season 6 which will carry over to season 7. Hopefully Hilarie and Chad filmed some form of an explanation as to why they are leaving or additional scenes to tie up their storyline before they filmed the scene in the comet across from the river court ending season 6.
They’ve used carry over footage in past seasons to resume the new season so you never know…?
As for seeing the characters of Lucas and Peyton return for guest spots. I’d really not like to see them tarnish their characters by returning as bit players in the whole One Tree Hill world they created. One Tree Hill was about Lucas and his love for Peyton and his books about his love for Peyton and his relationship with his brother Nathan. To come back for something as stupid as dropping off a gift for Jamie’s birthday, no thanks.

I agree if they are not coming back so the finale for Lucas and Peyton is the end of season 6 their is no point for them to be back its time to move on and befor you ask me im a LP fan.

i honestly not caring about what excuse they will say because in the end is just a excuse because the actor not renew their contracts.And i agree the LP history for me was great but its over their is no point for them to be back if they decided make a season 7 and LP are not in it so move on and make the best possible with the people that are on the show.And im a LP fan too but i agree i dont want them coming back i want the remember them whit that great ending

I went to the tour at 2:00 on July 26. On The tour they took us to Lucas House, Peyton Studio, and Brook’s House. I did see Peyton car there and all the sets were the same. There was some new pictures of Brooke and Julian on the Reforiator and a new photo on the side of the staircase of Brooke and Jamie. I saw the pool table that was in Peyton Office Area It was great. Afterwards i went to the river court. And then on Wed July 22 I went to the Tric Location and they was filimg I got a picture of steven (Chase) and lots of pictures of Extras and the building!

Despite the fact that Chad and Hilary are obviously not coming back for season 7, I have little doubt that (barring an epic ratings drop and the show getting canned mid-season) that we will see Lucas and Peyton on One Tree Hill again.
There will eventually come a series finale (likely this year i think) and I would be pretty shocked if, firstly, they weren’t invited back for the last episode, and secondly, they didn’t accept the invitation.
I’m happy to move on without Lucas and Peyton, because to be honest, aside from the last few episodes, the rest of season 6 with them was getting stale. I’m happy to watch without them, but I will look forward to that final glimpse of all the cast members, back together for one final episode.
I just hope they can produce a finale that is as fitting as the season 6 one was, because it was a shame that after such a great finale, they will now have to eventually try and top that in a series finale. And that my friends, won’t be easy.

I am keeping faith that they will return for the finale. Mark would be stupid otherwise…
But that’s it, I have this gut feeling that for whatever reason, they will keep finding excuses to keep them both away, Chad and Hilarie. It’s not fair. But it is what it is.
