BuddyTV Interview: Austin Nichols Says Things are “Gonna Get Messy” for Brulian
One Tree Hill has a new look for season 7, and one of the major parts to that overhaul was bumping Austin Nichols up to a series regular as Julian, Brooke’s beloved movie producer. The season 7 premiere saw the two making out on the beach quite a bit, and while Brulian lovers could certainly watch those two go at it all day long, Tree Hill relationships are never that simple.
I spoke to Austin about the new season of One Tree Hill, and he revealed some spoilers about what Julian is up to and which character from his past will return, what (or who) will cause some trouble for Brooke and Julian’s relationship, and when we’ll get to see Julian hanging out with Jamie.
-Brooke and Julian found themselves in a very good and happy place on the season 7 premiere, but Nichols says it won’t stay that way for long. “I’d love to kiss a pretty girl on the beach all the time, but it’s definitely gonna get messy.”
-Who will be the person throwing “a wrench into the gears” of the Brulian romance? Fans will get a chance to find out this week, as Nichols teased Monday’s episode by saying the new girl, actress and Clothes Over Bros model Alex Dupre will get in Julian’s face and definitely cause some trouble for Brooke.

Well it seems like both beloved couples have major drama ahead. Hopefully the problems will just make them stronger rather than tear them apart. Excited for Monday

I hope Brooke and Julian break up, there is no chemistry between them and they make a terrible couple. I hope Julian has scenes with the other characters, so I can actually watch his scenes and not find them horrible because Brooke is in them.

I really hope that Brook/Julian do no break up this season, I don’t mind a little bit of drama. Austin’s best romantic chemistry has been with Sophia so I say keep them. Brooke deserves to be happy for at least one season with her guy. And seriously what is up with all the horrid hater comments? Don’t they have anything better to do?

You know what I think, Haley and Brooke should get out of TH for a weekend and go to some swanky spa, party, get massages, pamper themselves and leave their cheating BF/husband behind to clean up their messes. Girl Power!

Ally: I don’t know, it appears this Alex is going to stir trouble with Brullian, did he have a past with her too? She is an actress. Either way both Brooke and Haley are going to have some troubles with their significant others due to some skanks. I just think they need to do a little girl bonding and shove it up there bums. I like the drama too, but 3rd parties and triangles appear to be the only drama these people can have, aside from psycho’s and dead people.

I think that drama is good. Brooke and Julian are soooo cute together and they have great chamestry even tho im a brucas fan. And not because Alex is the one that brings trouble between Brulian it means that Julian gonna cheat on Brooke. Maybe Alex will just making wanna make another movie and he’s never gonna have time for Brooke or something like that…
