MTV: Jana Kramer Hints At How Alex Will Fare Post-Suicide Attempt

Posted by Amy with No Comments

Just as we suspected, last night’s episode of “One Tree Hill” revealed that Jana Kramer’s character, actress/model/budding screenwriter Alex Dupre, survived her shocking suicide attempt. When we caught up with Jana last week, she told us what she hopes will happen to Alex as she recovers: that the movie Alex and Julian (Austin Nichols) wrote together goes into production.

“I think that’s the only way I would stay in Tree Hill — if they film the movie,” she explained to Hollywood Crush. “That’s how I think it’s going to go. I want that for her — I want the character to be happy and successful and have something good happen to her.”

One Tree Hill’s CODA Brooklyn by Wakey!Wakey! Hits iTunes Charts

Posted by Amy with 1 Comment

Wakey!Wakey!’s single Brooklyn which was played as last night’s amazing CODA on 7.12 Some Roads Lead Nowhere is currently #4 on alternative album iTunes chart today.  Very much deserved.  For those searching for the lyrics, Mike transcribed them himself.  Thanks, Mike!

I hope I see you soon

Cause you’re fond of me and I am fond of you

These days I guess that’s all it takes

That and just a few mistakes

and I have made mistakes

Yes I have made mistakes today…

So tonight I’ll be your Brooklyn

So cool and yet so far away

Just tell me what you want for me to say

And if it brings you home…

I guess it’s safe to say

We both could use this fire escape

Cause I’ve been breathin’ ashes in

And I’ve been waiting for somethin’ to carry you away

Cause i have made mistakes today…

So I hope you travel safe

I hope you’re cool, I hope you find your way

It’s sad, but it is safe to say

We disagree on one to many things

And I have made mistakes today…

BuddyTV: ‘Burn Notice’ and ‘One Tree Hill’ Stars Cast in Hallmark Movie

Posted by Amy with 1 Comment

Burn Notice won’t return to the USA Network until January 21st but Gabrielle Anwar fortunately has something to keep herself occupied during the five-month hiatus (the last episode aired August). The English actress is appearing alongside One Tree Hill star Craig Sheffer in a Hallmark Original Movie tentatively titled Murder Among Friends.

Anwar, who on Burn Notice plays Westen’s ex Fiona Glenanne, will play art authenticator Joss Jenner, who joins her college girlfriends for a bridal shower that turns into a crime scene when one of the friends is found dead and is presumed to have been murdered. One of the friends becomes devastated and fixated on solving the crime. Sheffer, who plays Dan’s older but under-achieving brother Keith on One Tree Hill, will play sheriff Zach Watts, who along with the local authorities immediately start an investigation.
